Ms. Odapalli was an amazing instructor. Hard class? Yes.. But always willing to help you understand - when she repeats something, you better write it down. I suggest if you are one to miss or skip classes, Do not take this instructor. She does expect dedication from her students, you give 100% ... So will she! Loved her-

Today was my last day with professor Nalini, and I will miss her for sure. I was never bored in her classes. She has a lot to offer. A great professor and also a very nice person. She cares about the students. The course is tough. She gives 40 points of extra credits, that is more then enough to get an A on her class.

Professor odapalli is awesome. she always gives chances to participate in extra credit(take it! every point counts) she cares about all students and is always willing to help. Take this class seriously and always study and be in class every day and you should do just fine! (lecture exams are very hard)one of the best biology professors out there!

I took her for this past semester - and she is honestly a wonderful professor. Yes, you have to put in the work and effort to get a good grade. But Professor Odapalli puts in the means to help you - extra credit, constant repetition, review before tests/quizzes, etc. She truly wants you to succeed - ended up with an A in this course thanks to her.

Prof. Odapalli is a very caring professor. She truly cares her students. For instance, before every quiz and test, she reviews the material and gives you a few minutes to study. As long as you put in the effort, she will do the same. I would definitely take her again.

I have never had a more compassionate professor, she genuinely cares for her students and tries her best for them to be successful. Although biology is a tough course, she breaks down the information and reviews whats important. Study, apply and have some patience with her way of speech. I would overall take this class again, sad it's over so soon.

Professor Odapalli is a great teacher. Biology class requires a lot of memorization and she explained the concepts and repeated them over and over again during lecture to help the students to remember. She also created class activities that I still remember till today: all students lined up in the classroom to make DNA double helix structure.

Professor Odapalli is super passionate about teaching biology and getting each individual student to understand. She does a lot of interactive exercises to get students up and moving to remember the material. She is very upbeat and was able to engage the entire class at 8 in the morning for 3 hours straight. Feel great about taking bio 2thisfall.

Mrs. Odapalli truly cares about her students. She uses study techniques in her class that make it very easy to learn, like maintaining notebooks and a vocabulary book for each section. She also gives group projects and worksheets that make understanding biology very easy. This is still a hard class, but she gives you the tools to succeed.

Ms. Odapalli is a type of professor that cares about her students, but at the same time she won't let you slack. She is motivated everyday to teach her students, lecturing from her prior experience using the text as a reference, instead of reading from the book. She emphasize heavy on notes, which help me to be more interested in the coursework .

Odapalli was recommended by a friend, and by far the best science course I've taken. She makes a difficult subject interesting and fun by always engaging her students and holding them accountable of all materials covered. The various group projects, worksheets and end of the semester individual presentation made learning the material enjoyable.

Professor Odapalli is available for her students by text and call 24/7. She is motivating and has best study tips useful for all her students. Some students come to school without any goal but she inspires them to do well. I started loving biology after attending her class. She guided me to find the internship at FL hosp. She is there to help you all the way through the course, her teaching strategies get you very familiar with the information and she provides helpful study guides so you know what information to focus on for tests and quizzes. Class can be very interactive and she always has a funny/ interesting way to help students remember difficult information.:)

Professor Odapalli is a one of a kind professor. She opens the semester by explaining everything that is required for the class. IF you do not like to do a lot of work then maybe she isn't the professor you want, but I guarantee you she is the professor where you will not only learn the most but also retain the most information. Her teaching method will have ready for a medical field or others majors. learning strategies is to read each chapter and come to class knowing things so you wont feel lost. biology is a hard class to begin with. professor odapalli made biology easier to understand and she is very passionate about it. she can be a little unorganized but for the most part shes on top of everything. studying is the key to passing this class because if you dont study at all you most likely wont pass.

I never understood biology until I had this professor. She is awesome at her lectures and uses a lot of hands-on learning to make sure you understand the material. You can go to her office hours and she will gladly help you. There is activity sheets (guided notes) for each chapter and lots of quizzes. Be prepared for each class. Awesome professor!

I am so glad to have Prof. Odapalli as my Biology professor. She is caring, and passionate about biology. Every lecture is very informative and fun to be in it. Must attend all her lectures. She provided many study tools, to help us to excel, such as class activities. And she is always there to answer your questions about Biology.

I went into this class not really liking biology but professor odapali has a really great way of explaining things In ways that make it interesting. I retained a lot of information in this class. She gives a lot of tests but if you do the activity sheets and lab study guides and study what she says to study you will do well!

Professor Odapalli was the best teacher I had so far in valencia. She really want the students to learn and she won't give up on it. Her method is hard, but once you get use to it you will see that there is no better way to learn. Use her office hours and don't me afraid to text her. She is always there for students.

Biology is hard!!is not an easy subject but taking this class with her was a pleasure...(final great A). If you do your part + the extra credicts an A is very likely. Her style is very dinamic , a balance mixture of P point, videos, lecture and your participation. extra credits

BIO1010C is not an easy class, but with this professor even if you fail all the test with the extra credit she provides you still have the opportunity to pass the class with an A or B. I took the hybrid class and it was a lot of reading on my own but worth it because she prepares all the test directly from the paper given .

She is absolutely dedicated to encouraging her student to LEARN. She often uses tests and quizzes to accomplish this, BUT she reviews for all the tests she gives, provides study guides, pp, and other online lectures. She will answer questions and takes her time to review material. The material is tough but manageable.

This is a very hard class. I did Hybrid and spent the majority of my time working on this class. There is a ton of work due, keeping track of due dates is hard. A lot of extra credit so it makes her class a little easier to pass than a professor who just has 3 test per semester. She really wants you to succeed and makes herself available for help.

This Professor is amazing. I did not know Microbiology could be so much fun until taking this course. I have learned so much about health in general. Excelent class. I recommend this professor very highly. You must work and you can not be absent or late to class. She is very knowledgeable and makes the class very fun.

I took a Hybrid course, lecture at home and then lab onsite. She is always ready to help, will explain concepts in a simple way until students understand. For the quizzes and tests told us what was important for us to know, and will give extra resources that can help. Gave tons of extra credit so if you show interest she will help you succeed.

Prof. Odapalli is really nice and is there for you whenever you need her. However, the class (much like any other college class) isn't exactly easy. If you attend class, pay attention, review your notes, and master concepts, you can pass with an A.

I did student-led research with professor Odapalli for 1 year and it was one of the best experience a stem student can aspire in Valencia College. She is really professional, she teaches you the material you need to succeed and it foster independent research. If you wanna get her attention to teach you, show commitment and interest.

P. Odapalli helped me become more well articulated and proficient at doing research and have more confidence. Because of P. Odapalli, I got into the TRIP research program at UCF and the 2k scholarship with it. She's been very supportive of my future goals, pushing me to realize hard work really pays off! If you want a career in science, P. Odapalli is the way to go! I took a mixed-mode class, and it was my first ever college-level science course. You must read the chapters if you're taking mixed-mode, and be ready to work, but Prof will do everything she can to help you get the grade you want. Professor O is so awesome! Don't get me wrong this class is definitely challenging, but she gives you all the resources you need to be successful in the class. Be sure to attend her weekly zoom sessions and do the extra credit to help your grade. Be sure to get the textbook, print her unit lecture notes, powerpoints and watch all videos and STUDY!

My favorite professor at Valencia! She gives you all the resources you need to succeed and is always there for students outside of class. I highly recommend meeting with her after quizzes and tests because you can potentially get points back from missed questions. There is also a paper which you can go over with her to ensure a good grade.

Professor Odapali is a dedicated professor to her students. I could not have asked for a more caring mentor for research. She matches the time & effort you put into your work often by hours of her own. She pushes past comfort zones to prepare students for the next stage and I left her classes with a valuable set of tools for my future. Recommended!

Professor Nalini is a great professor she was my mentor for the honors research and learned so much from her. You have to be serious if u want to take her. In any class you have to put the effort in so working hard can get you an A .

This class is better in person, but you will not encounter a more caring professor in your time at Valencia. Prof. O gives out her personal cell # and is so invested in her students' success in her class and beyond. For online, expect lab work (unlimited att, wkly), chapter quizzes on memorization bi wkly, and tests measuring understanding tri wkly

It is a difficult and it will not be open book. The resources and assignments given will help you learn the material and the tests are similar in reflecting what you have learned. You will need to study and work for it, but Professor Odapalli gives you all the tools you need to succeed and is always accessible by phone/email.

Prof O doesn't write her own reviews--I've taken 3 of her courses and voluntarily posted my own. If you are on the fence about taking her course please assess if you are prepared for science, she is hard because she wants to make sure you cement difficult concepts into memory. The course is a bit chaotic so you MUST learn to be independent.

Professor Nalini Odapalli is very nice, easy to learn from her lab class. Just do your work assignment and read the material you will pass easy A. Highly recommend

She provides chapter notes for every single test and assignment. The answers to the exams come from her lecture notes. If you study those notes it is impossible to fail. online lectures are optional but I highly recommend attending. She clears any questions and gives valuable information about the tests during those lectures.

Professor Odapalli is awesome! I took her Micro class in summer 2021 online. She provides you with a packet for all exams and a worksheet for all quizzes that she goes over during her class and highlights most of the topics that will be on the exams. I wouldn't say it's an easy A but def achievable and you learn a lot.

Professor O is a caring professor. She will take the time to actually go back and help with anything you need. She wants to see her students succeed! She gives many resources for her quizzes and study guides! If you do look through the resources and read the textbook as instructed, you will be fine!

Prof O is a wonderful professor. I had her class/lab at 7 am and even though I wasn't a morning person, I looked forward to her class. This class is hard, you have to be honest with yourself here. My first exam score was a 74, and then she told me to focus on the study guides, and boom it was As from there. A lot of work, but it's doable.
