Great teacher! Will really keep your attention on what could be a boring subject. She know her stuff b/c she is a real lawyer. She tries her best really prepare you for the departmental final. She has lots of personality and gives great examples while teaching with well organized outlines.

this is a boring subject to me, she makes it interesting and keeps me awake.

Mrs. Allen has a clear easy to understand teaching method. As long as you put forth effort she will bend over backwards to help you as well. Come to class reguraly and study for your tests and its an easy B and not a hard to get A.

She is very outgoing and keeps your attention. She makes law somewhat interesting. She gives in class assignments and her notes come straight from the book. Although some of her tests are kind of hard, if you go to class and read the book you will have no problem getting at least a C.

Definately take Professor Allen if you're taking RIL 231. She is the best professor I have had in my two years at Missouri State. She makes an incredibally boring subject much more interesting. Go to class, take notes, and read the book and the class should be farely easy. She also curves every test by 4-6 percentage points.

Excellent professor. She follows the book closely, so if you miss a class or two, you can catch up easily. She is also very good at using real world examples from her time as a prosecutor. I would definitely recommend her to any and everyone.

Nancy Allen is an AMAZING teacher. One of my favorites. Even at 8am she came keep you awake teaching about law. Go to class, take good notes and do the practice quizzes and you will get a good grade. Definitely recommended!

Mrs. Allen is really one of the best teachers at Missouri State. For such a hard subject, she makes it very clear to understand with examples. Extremely easy class if you pay attention and understand what she is saying. The true false/multiple choice tests can be tricky. She does try to trick you on the tests with the way she words things. Study for the tests (I recommend you look at the back of the book and use notecards to memorize the definitions and what is mentioned in class).

I never in a jillion years would have thought I'd love a law class. Ms. Allen makes this boring subject fun! She writes an outline of the material each day on the board; COPY IT DOWN & TAKE ACCURATE NOTES! Try to write everything she says exactly. I did and I hardly used my book to study...And I got an A! Take her class or suffer the consequences!!

Great teacher! Going to class is a must, and you have to study hard for tests, but if you study, you'll get A's. You get free food too sometimes when you go to class. Buy the book ONLY if you are not quick at writing down the notes she gives, because sometimes she goes really fast and I have to relook through the book to get all the info.

Everyone on campus loves Nancy Allen. She has 4 tests, one being the final. the rest of her grades are in class participation so showing up to her class is mandatory. She is funny and loud and everyday it is full attendance. She however is old school and do not use blackboard. She writes her notes on the board. Easy B. Simple A.

Nancy Allen was absolutely phenomenal!! Probably the best professor I have ever had! She gave examples with the text and made the class easy to relate to. She offered a ton of extra credit my class period, and she gives you a 2% boost, so if you're at an 88 at the end, you'll end up with an A.

If possible, TAKE NANCY. There's a reason she's gotten so many good reviews. She gives a 2% boost on every test. DO NOT PAY FOR THE BOOK, she only tests on her lectures and I literally never had to open my book. 2 tests and 1 comprehensive final, I've gotten high A's on both tests bc I merely studied the notes.
