Mrs. Dignon rocks! Not easy but always entertaining. I loved her class. If you go, study, and pay attention you'll do well. I earned an A....it's not impossible.

great teacher, really knows her stuff. dont go into this class unless you really want to put effort into it. her tests are hard, but come staright off her notes, so if you study them well you will get a good grade

Class is not impossible to pass. All you really have to do is pay attention in class and you will know what's on her test. A little studying would help but the only time I got a bad test score was when I missed her lectures. Very entertaining.

This is a great science class too take. Nancy gives everything you need to know for a test in class with notes that are almost word for word! Fun educational class!

She is a wiseass, but a cool teacher she knows her stuff and loves the wheather. gives alot of tests, but the girdon rule paper is very easy no research involved in it.

She is a good teacher, and person who knows it all about meterology. I enjoyed her class very much. Make sure you come to class, because if you miss too many days she will drop you or you will loose a letter grade. Good teacher though.

Mrs. Dignon has a New York, wiseass sort of humor. I found her amusing. Her lectures are interesting but definitely put a lot of effort into studying for her tests. Her final is really easy, it's questions straight from the regular tests that she gives you back to study. Just don't miss over 5 classes or she will drop a letter grade.

All you have to do is pass is find a student who had her class before and has the tests. They are basically the same year after year. She is a great teacher but her tests are very hard if you dont study very hard and go to every class.

SHE IS AWESOME! She made me love to come to class. Be aware though, you must attend class or she will penalize you. FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY! Histerical actually. I had her in the mornings and then I would see her on TV at night. Yeah, she's the local weather lady :) SUPER TEACHER!

Mrs. Dignon is so much fun. She'll make you laugh, but will also laugh at you if you give her a reason to. Go to class, study, and if you have a question that might be a dumb one, ask her after class. Then she'll be really nice about it (ie: you won't get made fun of). Good luck!

She is the best professor I have for this semester. All my other teachers don't amuse me like she does. She is funny for a female, because most female teachers aren't funny.

She's very knowledgable. She gives amazing notes! I didn't even touch my book all semester and got an A on every test! Write down everything that she writes and study it well. She's usually pretty laid back, very funny at times (and a terrible drawer), and her experience in the field shows through her teaching. Highly Reccomended.

She can be thought of as strict or hard, but she is awesome. She knows the material like the back of her hand. She creates interest in the subject matter, and gets students to laugh. I love her

She's so cool! She draws all of her notes right there in front of you,this really helped me to keep up with her. She tells the coolest statistics and stories. Best of all her paper is a breeze! You can write about whatever you want, I made up a story and she loved it. I feel sorry for all the boys in her class though. ;-)

HAHAHA...Nancy is awesome! she is kinda fiesty though! she is a good teacher, but you have to pay attention. Don't get on her bad side and never be late to her test or she won't let you take it...no excuses!

shes funny but i had to study alot to pass her tests , she doesnt really review or anything its really all on you. besides that good class and it wasnt bad at all

She's pretty awesome. Tries to make it fun, and always asks if you're following, so TELL HER IF YOU'RE NOT! She'll work with you. Gives extra credit on the exams. 10 extra points not put into the average, basically for each exam, and you can drop one. You have to be stupid not to pass, and she's funny for a science nerd.

this teacher was very helpful the whole semester. her notes were right on point with the test, and we never used our textbooks.

Tests are pretty easy, and she drops the lowest. The writing assignment is super easy, and if you get an A she gives you a 100. If you cant pass this class you wont pass any class

Don't let the TV thing make you think she doesn't know her stuff, great teacher, really knows what she is taking about, loves what she does, wants you to be involved in class, ask questions, make commments, tests are from the notes, can be tricky but she drops the lowest grade, and the paper is a story (can be made up) about meterology. take her

GREAT TEACHER! She loves what she does! Tells alot of jokes! Her test are hard, but if you study there is no reason not to get an A. Make sure you are on time to class she likes punctuality!

She was an excellent teacher! I would recommend yo read the book because some of the information on the test is in the book

Overall, a good class. The material is not easy and I can say that if I studied the way that I should of, I could have gotten an A. The paper is not hard, but she does grade the grammar heavily. Other than that i did enjoy the class, eventhough I got a B. I would take her again, but make sure to really study the notes she gives.

Sarcastically funny and have a great time in the class. Most definitely get some laughs out of the class.

Really keeps class fun and she really knows her stuff. An easy "A" with a little studying and the exam questions are old test questions. Attend class- she fails students who miss over 5 class days.

Awesome teacher. If you go to class, take her notes and do a bit of studying you should have no trouble at all passing all of her tests with b's or higher. She has a great personality and makes class very enjoyable. Easily one of the best teachers I've ever had.

She's not a bad person like people make her out to be. Her tests are pretty hard but come to class and take notes and you will be fine. She drops the lowest test grade and the final is a cumulative review of the 4 tests.

Great personality and you really learn a lot. I made A,B,C on her tests(in that order) and found they got more difficult as the semester went on. I still learned a lot that i can apply in everyday life though. don't leave in the middle of class cuz it really pisses her off. if you dont have a sense of humor or cant take sarcasm, you wont like digno

Very straightforward in her lessons. Uses a lot of visuals to aid memorization. Lectures are mostly discussion. Is best to ask any question you may have. Dignon's sarcasm is endless, but your question will get answered.

Nancy is the shiz. This is the only early class that I didn't mind going to. Test are straight forward, just study your notes and the practice test. DON'T USE A POSTER BOARD ON THE PROJECT! Project is a joke tho. Nancy is hilarious and actually makes you laugh (you don't have to fake it). The only bad thing about Nancy is that she is a METS fan.

She is a great teacher. Her methods are easy to understand and she is an amusing person to be in class with. Definateky take her!

Class was not hard but it was not easy. You will need to come to class & study, not a class for slackers! She is funny, witty, sarcastic, & smart and knows her stuff! Strict on attendance & tardiness, kicked a boy out of class who showed up late for final. Enjoys teaching & makes class interesting. Study for tests.

One of my favorite teachers. Not hard. Four multiple choice tests in the semester with extra credit. The exam is made up of questions from the tests, so you have a study guide. One test is dropped, so the grade is made of 3 tests and the exam. She is very clear and helpful if you don't grasp a concept. Go to class and take notes and you will pass.

WONDERFUL! One of the best teachers/classes I have had. Class is really fun and pretty simple. She makes the material interesting. She drops your lowest test grade and your final comes from your previous test. I would recommend this class if you need a science and your a non-science major. She's great...and super funny!!

This is a class in my major. She is very helpful to students and while she offers very little extra credit she does make sure you know your material. She is sarcastic but ask a stupid question repeatedly in her class and you deserve the smartass comeback.

Umm ok this isn't an easy class for me. I do like her as a person and she's funny but out there. However she loves critical thinkIng so notes for the most part arnt the same on the test. That was hard for me cause it's been a while since I've been to school. Knows her stuff though. I believe if you go to class and try she's not going to fail you.

Pretty awesome teacher. Very funny and sarcastic about everything. Knows her craft and is very excited to teach everyday. Tests are a little challenging, but nothing a little studying can clear up. I did not buy the textbook but still made an A. I would though suggest buying the textbook just in case. If you don't go to class, you will fail.

Loved her. Definitely knows her stuff. Loved the class, very interesting. Take notes but she's a critical thinker and goes into deeper thinking on the tests which was annoying. You'll be fine tho, just gotta think for a minute. She's great, definitely recommend. Quizzes are an easy A and so are tests. Fun class

One of the few professors on any level that will tell you like it is. I had no interest in MET1010, but thank god, that I had the chance to take her course.Learned alot, and if it wasn't for the enormous amount of math required for this major, I would've changed my major to Meteorology. A fun, enteraining teacher. You'd never fall asleep.

I took this class online and would highly recommend her. Her syllabus was very clear and weekly there is one assignment either DB or homework, so it isn't hard to keep up. Her test count as 60% of the grade therefore you have to read to pass the test.. She does provide a "recommended" study guide but it didn't help me much.

I've never rated a professor before, but I know she deserves it. Her class is not easy, you will have to actually attend lectures and study if you want to pass, but she is an amazing teacher. She's funny, doesn't take it too seriously and she doesn't mind throwing the class a bone as long as you work for it. She makes it easy to pay attention!

I work full time & took (2) online courses incl. this one. There is a lot of reading and the e-text is crucial. The module material she provides is very helpful for tests. No quizzes but weekly assignments (not based on reading assignment) mandatory. Should be an easy "A" if you keep up w/assignments. Prof is very pleasant/responsive/helpful.

Hate science but she made it interesting, all of her test come from the notes and are super easy. All of her notes are online and the questions for the Final come from the previous test

Gives clear instructions and class assignments so no confusion in what has to be done. Does not let you work ahead but that was okay because it gives you time to focus on that week's work.

Harsh sense of humor. If you don't have thick skin she might hurt your feelings. Overall boring class with the lectures, but an easy A if you do the work and study before tests (basically how to get an A in any class).

I love her! She keeps class fun and helps you out as much as possible. She lets you have a cheat sheet for each exam and gives the answers to the exams afterward which make up the final so the final is an easy A. She will also drop your lowest exam grade. Come to class, take notes and study and you'll do fine.

This professor does a wonderful job of explaining the corse material. The class itself is extremely fun and interesting accompanied by a funny professor with years of experience within the field.

Every week you have a discussion board or a HW assignment due. All test are open book, so there is no way you should fail this class. Follow your pacing guide and this class will be a buzz for your. Not a fan of science but this class made it quiet interesting.

I took Prof. Dignon online and it was a great experience! She doesnt allow makeup work so get all your assignments in on time. She does drop your lowest test score, though. You will need the book so make sure you read and take good notes and youll be fine. She also leaves comments under homework which is an extra boost of motivation.

TAKE HER!!!! i took her online summer class. the best class i have ever taken. very easy and the teacher is great she gives good feedback. as long as you do all your homework (which is so easy) you will pass with A. all her assignments and tests are on canvas. easiest class i have taken and actually learned something too

I took her summer class online and it was sooooo easy! She lets you use your notes on the exams and drops your lowest test score. Youll definitely need the book but this class was great!! Take her!

Took this class online and it consists of 10 assignments, 8ish discussions and 4 exams and it was easily the best class Ive ever taken. She responds super quick and is generally vary clear on what she wants turned in. The exams are weighted somewhat heavy and theyre challenging but if you read the unit youll be fine

Always had C's in high school with science, but because the exams are open note. I won't be a science major, and the teacher is very open, and she's clear on expectations. No late passes, but the assignments are easily doable in a day. It's the studying you really need to dedicate your time to.

BEST TEACHER EVER! I love her sense of humor and candidness! Nancy Dignon knows her stuff and very accessible to ask questions to. Tests are very straightforward, study for tests and take good notes and you will pass. I haven't used the textbook and there is no homework. 10/10 recommend.

From the beginning of my online class she stated what it was and what it wasnt. She has a clear turn in schedule. There were only 2-3 assignments a week & they were all easy. I did not use the book, the notes in canvas was enough for me to pass. She dropped one hw assignment and the lowest test score. Shes great!

An amazingly easy class to take. 10 homework, 6 discussion boards, and 4 exams. All homework's and discussion boards are straight forward. Tests are also super easy.

The class is based around her lectures and notes however they match the tests to a T. the textbook is a waste of money all the answers are in the notes. Very nice lady who truly cares about the subjects and what she is teaching

She is very honest and a great student advocate. Speaks her mind and is "candid" with all assignments and what she wants. Doesn't give feedback if you get points off of something. 1 quiz a week with 2 tries. Midterm was a group presentation. Final was 5 topics out of 7 you had to write about, 1 of the topics was just about your midterm presentation
