VERY EASY!! don't need to go to class everyday. she'll even give you questions that will be on the tests ahead of time. make sure you go to study sessions, you'll get all the answers for mid-term and final. paper was easy too. i got a A!

Test is all essay, questions are given ahead of time. 4 or 5 complex Q's she picks one the day of the test.1 midterm, 1 final,1 essay, one timeline. boring lectures tho watch out, she's nice laughs at her own jokes. I got an A. im an A/B student

VERY EASY class!! all u have to do is go to study sessions.. i recommend this class, its BORING if you go and sit in class all day, but the coarse is not difficult if you are prepared to write out essays for exams.

Horrible teacher. She is boring, goes off on tangents, talks about irrelevant BS. She let a grad student teach the class who just read notes. The midterm and final are one essay question. I only got a B because I studied my ass off for hours.

She gives you a list of 5 different essays questions and picks one for each exam. She is a very easy teacher. No one ever showed up to class except on test days. Her T.A. does everything. If you want an A take her. She also offers easy extra credit.

Probably the worst teacher I've ever had. Nice enough, but she CANNOT TEACH. Always late to class. Lots of irrelevent tangents during lectures. Gives inaccurate info. Powerpoints are WORTHLESS! Shegot so far behind with her B.S. that much of the class material was omitted. Class had low test grades

fitch is a **** & makes great effort to NOT communicate w/ u. she always makes excuses that her laptop is messed up, & even when it IS working, she STILL doesn't respond to emails. she needs to retire 'cause all she does is bullsh!t her students about grades, & "history" which she cannot teach.

the WORST professor i've ever had, i don't think you can even consider her a professor. never in class on time. Powerpoints are worthless. Half the time she comes to class looking and speaking like shes on some kind of controlled substance. Doesn't communicate with students. Test scores are very low

She is a horrible teacher. Shes a nice person but she can't teach for crap. Half the time she doesn's know what she's talking about in class and he powerpoints always have the wrong info. she doesn't help you prepare for her final at all. Do not take this class with her.

Very unprofessional. She speaks too slow, goes off topic every other minute, arrives to class late, absent on a lot of her office hours, and shows no bit of interest or enthusiasm for the course. However, the material is not that hard. Easy B if you exert some effort.

She is a nice professor. Shes never really on your a** about anything. All her notes are on powerpoint and the assignments aswell so you never have to go to class. Just study from the book and the powerpoints. All you have to do is take the midterm and final, SHE EVEN GIVES YOU THE ESSAY QUES.!

Make sure to read the chapter sections and take notes! There is not much course review before exams, so take notes in class! If you can avoid taking History courses at all cost unless its your major!

I can see her being an ice person on her own time but as a teacher she is completely horrible. There seems to be no clarity what so ever in her lectures and little to no help on the midterm. I hate to be harsh but it is only the truth.

Where do I begin... well I am pretty much shocked. The worst professor I have had honestly: Worthless, never on time, never at office hours, ****, low knowledge bass, can't speak, bad power points, repeats herself, thinks it is funny when kids do bad. can't remember names, dates, times, places. Please, avoid this **** at all costs. i got an A 2.

She doesn't even make her own powerpoints and never finishes lessons during class time. There is no point in even going to class. I learned nothing and never went to class, and got a passing grade. I taught myself history! Waste of your time, AVOID if possible.

Fitch is really laid-back social historian. If she assigns an essay and you don't like the topic, you can do a new topic. She shows alot of films and specializes in French History, so if you're not into that, don't take her class.

DO NOT TAKE HER IF YOU CAN HELP IT. Her lectures are incredibly slow-paced and BORING. I normally love history and find it engaging, but I would have rather listened to fingernails on a chalkboard then sit through her lectures.

Older and weirder than I’m used to. Voice gets annoying. Nice, tries to help. Spells out words and mixes up her facts, listen closely. May make assignments sound easier than they are graded, don’t take lightly. Vague about what she wants. Two papers and essay final. Allows note card on final. Notes on powerpoint. Took over the Summer. Got a B.

New book was a wate of my money!!!! Don't buy it. If someone has the other edition and selliong it, get that. Don't waste a ton of money on the new one. Some people in my class either had the old book from a friend or bough it from someone else and they passed with A's. I'm pissed that I'm out a lot of money for that stupid class

Shes very nice and sweet. If you take her summer course, she practically goes over the exam questions with you. She rarely assigns homework. Easiest course I've ever taken!

Bad Teacher Repeats Herself. HAs No Clue What She Is Talk'N About. You Can Teach Yourself N That Class. No Need To Come, Doesn'T Talk Role. Mid Term 40%, Final 45%, Paper 10%,Discussion Board 5%...Tests 80pt Essay (She 1 Picks Out Of 6), 20pts Identifications, But Only 10 Is On Tha Tests Out Of Around 45 You Have To Know.

I wanted to be interested in this class, but she's really boring. Her lectures made me fall asleep, so I just stopped going to class. Do the reading before the test and write a decent paper and you'll be fine without ever showing up.

I am extremely baffled at that negative comments regarding this instuctor- i find her to be fair and most of all she is very knowledgable in her field. personally, i learned a great deal in the class and found her to interesting. AWESOME INSTRUCTOR!!!!

This class was easy. You don't have to attend class because she doesn't take roll. Students would show up for the first 5 minutes and leave. Out of 50 students, there would be only 20 students remaining. Just make sure you do the paper, study the terms and essay questions before the midterm and final. If you know it, you'll get a good grade.

Fitch's History 504 was the easiest course in the CSUF graduate program. She gave us many opportunities to revise our seminar papers before handing them for the final grade, and she's an easy grader. However, she's very disorganized and often had trouble controlling the class discussions. A nice lady, but she's also extremely "politically correct".

Dr. Fitch is an excellent professor and an expert in her field. She considers her students to be adults so there is no need to take roll. You're the one paying-it's up to you to show up! She is always available to help and guide you. She is envolved with may committees and still researches! She is simply awesome.

Dr. Fitch is a wonderful professor, the Hist. 501 class really helped my work and I learned a great deal from the course. Dr. Fitch introduced the class to theories and ideas that I had no previous exposure to and these theories are great for History papers.

Dr. Fitch's teaching style is a bit random. She really doesnt have a structure to her lectures its more like shes having a conversation with the class. It can get boring at times. she doesnt take roll. Grade based on 3 papers. Basically READ THE BOOKS and your golden :)..all answers to the paper topics are on the books not so much the lectures.

Like the last reviewer said, Professor Fitch is a little disorganized with her organization, though the class is not difficult if you just read the books. Shows some interesting movies, but your grade is based only on 3 papers so attendance isn't vital.

Professor Fitch is disorganized and she can put you to sleep, but she shows interesting videos and the class books are interesting reads. Attendance isn't mandatory, I attended about 6 times all semester and got a B. READ the books and watch the movies and the class will be okay!

She's really nice, but unfortunately she teaches upper division afternoon classes so if you take any of the 3 hour classes, you WILL fall asleep. READ the books, occasionally go to class, and you'll be fine.

Don't buy the book unless you're really going to read it. I didn't read it much and got a B. She is pretty boring. I rarely attended class because I'd fall asleep. There are about 80 students in the class and around 20-25 show up regularly. Midterm and FInal have an essay so just make sure you're prepared for that. She's nice at least.

She's very hard to understand. You NEVER have to go to class except the day of the tests if you really don't want to. She gives a list of what will be on the test so you can do it on your own time. Warning: Test are pretty difficult. An essay question is picked the day of the test and can be very difficult if you did not study for it.

Dr. Fitch definitely has a unique style of teaching. Her train of thought often seems disorganized but if you really listen to what she is sayig ti's not too hard to follow. Sometimes it is hard to stay awake. Three paper 7+pages. Must Read the Books if you want to write good papers/get a good grade. I got an A & will def. take her again.

history of WWI was a great course, i definitely learned A LOT.Her lectures are very informative and films are interesting.Grade based on a midterm paper 5-7 pages and final consisting of 2 papers: Question 1: 4-7 pages and Question2: 5-9 pages. Must buy books because will me used extensively. Overall this class and prof are amazing def. recommend

Took her summer session. It was boring but very very easy. You don't need the book, just take notes, even though her lectures can put you to sleep. I got a B with no real effort. She gives you the study guide & it says exactly what will be on the test. I'd recommend for summer

This class was extremely boring. I went everyday before the midterm and got a 98%. After the midterm I did not attend the class until the final. Still got an A. She is very nice however, she goes off topic and the lecture is basically useless on the exam.

Prof Fitch is really nice but unfortunately her class is not interesting. Attendance isn't mandatory and the class of about 100 usually consisted of 20 people. If you read the book you can still pass. Grade is based on midterm and final consisting of 1 essay question and 10 terms, and discussion online. She gives you a study guide ahead of time.

Dr. Fitch's teaching style is VERY low-key. She does lecture, however, she prefers to have students engage in discussion. Unfortunately her style does backfire; 10, maybe 15 people attended class per week. Exam questions were often obscure, so be sure to clarify with her what she is looking for. Do the readings, hit class a few times, study&pass.

During class, she turns off the lights and turns on the Powerpoint and talks at you. Very boring class. The grade is based on only 2 tests, so study hard for them. The lecture is pretty useless on the tests.

SUPER EASY CLASS. Two tests, and writing three little paragraphs on a discussion board and that's it. She is super nice and friendly, and she knows her stuff. Her class is pretty boring and goes by super slow but if you can just persevere through it it's an easy A.

Unrealistically easy. I sort of went to classes before the midterm, but shortly after it was taken, I hardly went. I would go every now and then because I felt bad, but it didn't make a difference. Got a 78 on the midterm, a 100 on the discussion board, and 85 on th final. For a grand total of a B in the class. I thought I was going to do horribly in the class since I never went, but the power points usually aren't needed. Just study the study guide

It says something that a class from 7-9:45pm is packed week after week. I love the discussions. I am not a discussion type person, I prefer being lectured at for 3 hours, but I love this class. She interjects and talks when we have class discussions and I can tell she really loves it because she enjoys talking WITH us. The books are excellent reads

I am in love with this class. I took it at 2:30 and it was my last class, so i loved that it was chill. You dont have to come to class at all. well except for the mid term and the final..which are the only 2 test.if you dont want to try hard at all and get a good grade you should for sure take her. and i didnt even open my book.got to love it.

I love her! I try to take a class with her every chance I get. She makes it very interesting, though you do not have to attend class. 3 papers are due, based off 2-3 books she assigns. I skipped most classes and still recieved an A.

I took this over intercession, so the classes were long, but Dr. Fitch made the class very interesting. Nice mixture of lectures and films. Do the reading and attend class and you'll do fine. One midterm essay (2 questions, 6-10 pages total) and one final essay 10-14 pages (2 questions, with a book discussion in class) Highly recommend!

I took this class over the summer and it consisted of one midterm paper and one final paper. She was pretty lenient since it was over the summer and even let people turn in papers late. Class was pretty dull since all she does is lecture and play videos. I didn't try too hard and she still gave me a decent grade :)

I only took her because on this website it said she never came to class. Well that was a lie she came to all the classes besides 2! We still had class those days too because she had a TA. Anyways, most BOORRRRIING class ever. If you have a chance to get a better more interesting teacher. DO IT! cause she is ridiculously boring, but she is nice! :)

her class is very easy to pass easy A. lecture is boring but she tells u the answers to the test. 2 tests 3 discussions. she gives u the test before hand on it 1 essay and 10 tell me what it is. she will answer ur questions and she is fair with grading. only problem grade is based on tests. attend lecture & u'll be fine don't buy the book.

Teacher very knowledgable, in every aspect of history. She was very fun to interesting to listen to and would answer any question that you had. Go to class and book is basically not needed just listen and take good notes. Got an A in the class

pretty sure I developed ADD because of this class. Please, take a different teacher. super nice buuut, exxtreemely boring. got an A on the midterm and an 88% on the final. which gave me like an 89% in the class...and i got a "B" what a ripoff. I feel like I wasted my life trying to study for that class.

Dr. Fitch is very easy to follow. She lectures for part of the class and has group discussion for second half. We've watched several videos as well. There are 3 take home papers, no tests at all. You also need to do a weekly discussion post based on that week's reading. Pretty easy grader. I highly recommend her.

She's an extremely sweet lady but her class is just so boring. Mandatory isn't really necessary since it's history and you can basically learn on your own. I don't know if she'll continue, but for us she did the midterm and final online. Good luck! I guess it's an easy class if you listen to the lectures, or read from the book.

Weekly readings and three big papers. Not bad for a graduate level class. She's super sweet and can be helpful at times if you stay after class or go to her office hours. Fitch can also be unclear as well, especially when it comes to the specifics in her papers. Overall, enjoyable class! I liked my classmates and their discussions during class.

Sometimes is slow to answer emails. Easy online class. You do 2 discussion posts online per week. There's some essays, but not hard. I bought the textbook, but barely touched it. You also pick what readings to do online. TIP: Read 1 article, then make both discussion posts for it. 1 post with your opinion, another post responding to someone.
