Awesome. Sense of humor. Keeps you from falling asleep. She is very straight forward and will do whatever she can to get you to pass the class. As for the above-about core assignments-those assignments are about the ONLY thing you have to do for the class.

Prof. Fletcher does come off at first as a little harsh, but that's just her sense of humor, which was what kept the class fun. She does not give much work, but expects you to do what you are supposed to do.She will help you in any way to pass. Follow her instructions, be on time to class and you will enjoy her class!

Professor Goshaw definately needs to retire. She is very helpful when it comes to assignments and does anything to help you. However she is so rude. She thinks she is so funny and she is now. She always has something horrile to say about her students. If she isn't happy she shouldn't be teaching.

I LOVE Prof Fletcher. Make sure you show up to class, do NOT talk when she is (she hates that) and participate in the rough draft workshops. If you really screw up on a core essay, she will let you resubmit. Really cares if you fail or not.

I had Ms. Fletcher for Eng1 and selected her for Eng2! She was great! Highly recommend her, and would pick her again if she taught anything else

I took her for 1101 she is really rude but very understanding. What you have to say doesnt matter just get your work in in time and she will be ok if your work is not up to part she will give you a chance to resubmit. Worth taking if you could deal with her attitude

Good teacher... unusual teaching style. She acts stricter than she really is, but this is to the advantage of the student to make sure they are focused on their workload. Seems to grade according to expectations on a per student basis. If your smart than your essays better be good... if your dumb you might just get a decent grade for effort.

I wouldn't say an easy class but it is a class you can excel in as long as you do everything that is asked of you. Not a whole lot. Don't get behind just stay caught up. Great attitude.A different type of personally, loves to SHOCK people with words. Don't talk when she is talking. You can get an A in this class if you just do the work ON TIME.

She will help you grow. If you need help she does offer some assistance. Don't talk or goof around unless she tells you it's o.k. to. She was a great teacher at first. I got mostly hundreds on everything until I wrote about something in an assignment she didn't agree with. If you don't agree with the I am woman hear me roar mentality she isn't the teacher for you. She finds little things to take points off for. She can be extremely helpful if she likes you.

What a great teacher and I don't particularly care for english classes. She is wicked fair and an awesome person. Had me laughing. She made me wish I had her for my english 1 class. Its easy to get a good grade with her, just show up, listen & do the work she asks. She will work with you to make sure you do what is needed to pass and then some.

I don't know how these negative ratings are happening. She may appear rude, but it's just her sarcastic sense of humor. Grading was easy as long as you pay attention, take notes, and memorize MLA. I had her for ENC 1&2 and she was my favorite teacher both semesters! I would recommend her to anyone! Her wit, knowledge and stories make for fun class.

There is an ancient Chinese curse "may your life be interesting". If you take this class your life in English Composition will be exceptionally interesting. Professor Fletcher is the best Professor I've had so far. Keep an open mind and she will make poetry and Shakespeare interesting. Advice: Take notes on what she wants you to do in your writing. You only need the lit book and not any other of the text books. Great teacher, just don't screw up MLA on your papers. Write sentences, and have a thesis, that's why she fails papers. However, you can resubmit your paper if she does fail it. Extremely clear in the directions of what she wants, just show up to class.

Professor fletcher is great! The class is reading heavy so be prepared to read a lot. Grades papers fairly. But make sure you reach the word minimum, she is strict on that. If you have a sense of humor you will enjoy her. By the way she doesn't round grades!! I was stuck with and 89 B in her class.

EASY. I took her class as a dual enrollment student(I am in high school) and never had a problem understanding it. Doesn't really care about due dates as long as you tell her its coming in late. She will give your paper back to you if she thinks its not good enough. I had high A's on all of her papers. 20% of your grade is participation. TAKE HER

Best English teacher I ever had. She's a retired counterculture philosopher, and genuinely seems to love what she does. She's more than just a little crazy, but that's part of what makes this class so fun. If you like to read, this is the best class you could ever hope for. We need more professors like her, and I'd take her class again for fun!

Professor Fletcher can certainly be tough at times, but she's completely clear on her expectations for the course. She is extremely helpful with essay editing, and answers emails very quickly. If you are having trouble, she will take time to assist with any part of any assignment. I wish she was teaching another class in my plan!

She really wants her students to succeed, but you have to put forth the effort. The syllabus gives the course requirements, and much can be done early. Basic grammar is a must. Don't talk out of turn. If you turn your work in early, she will review and give feedback to help your grade. The homework isn't hard, but it MUST be done. Unique but fun.

Despite her heavy sarcasm, she's very understand. I was surprised I was able to pull a B from this class. She does about 3 essays, super easy topics. Requires to submit forums every week which helps boost your grade so do the forums!! Labs are required as well but are also super easy

Ms Fletcher is not an easy teacher by far, but she is great teacher. There is A LOT of reading associated with her class. This is an English class, a lot of reading should be expected. I worked very hard and did well in her class, I enjoyed her teaching style so much I also took her for ENC1102 and received an A in both classes.

Prof. Fletcher is definitely a hard teacher. She is not always clear on what she is looking for but I learned more from her than any of English teacher. She can be a little rough around the edges but once you realize it's not personal and just her you can get past it. Papers were super easy. She practically writes the paper for you.

I am currently taking her class at night. She gives commentary on each graded assignment. She may come off as slightly mean and sarcastic, but if you take her advice when she grades and goes over your essays, you will have no problem. She also has an interesting sense of humor.

This teacher is beyond AMAZING! She will help you pass as long as you receive the help given to you. She does not let people fail! She will push you to do your best, she give you constructive criticism on the right things. She lets you retake essays and homeworks for a BETTER grade. She care!
