I always hated math but she was very helpful. The tests were just like the syudy guids. She will also go over any questions you have. Boombox Thurs. was a blast-she would -play a game on the calculater that went to music.

if you know how to count you're way ahead of this class. i never did any homework and didnt go to class a whole lot, passed with an A. she goes way too slow, and makes it almost impossible to tolerate 2 hours with her. however if u suck at math she's prolly the teacher u want shell go over a problem 50 times to make sure EVERYONE understands it

I've always hated math. I gave up really easily on math, but she does a great job explaining things and answering questions. My math class is now my favorite class. I got an A- on a math test for the first time in years.

An all around fantastic teacher. She is extremely dedicated to helping her students with even the simplest of questions. She made Calculus seem easy. I highly reccomend her to anyone. Attendance is entirely voluntary, yet you should attend every class if you want a B or above.

It is an understatement to merely say Nancy Forrest will probably be the best professor you ever have. You can tell she cares for every single one of her students! Her tests are straightforward and she does an amazing job teaching the material. She is one professor I will never forget, she is a true math mom :D Work your schedule to get her!

AMAZING teacher! Doesn't force you to do the homework and doesn't grade it. Gives study guides for tests that are almost 100% identical to the test. Great lady to be around! She LOVES teaching!

Professor Forest is a great math professor. Assignments are straight forward, and each Test comes with a Pre-Test that is reviewed in Class. Professor is nice and gives you many chances to get a good grade. I hadn't taken a math class in 3 years, but got an A. She wants everyone to get a good grade, but still requires you to put forward an effort.

Great instructor. Had to drop and move back to MA104 to get a refresher. I recommend her highly if you are prepared.

If you fail this class it's your own fault. Lectures and homework reviews are recorded and posted on internet. Homework is not graded. Practice test is very useful. Grades everyone equally and fair. Awesome professor!!!

She is fairly easy and super nice. She gives you review tests, so you really don't need the book much. Review tests are really easy, but the actual tests are really challenging, but she will help you if you need it. Good teacher, take her.

Ms. Forrest is an excellent "math mom." She's extremely helpful, and organized - she records her classes and posts them on BB, she makes sure to prepare you for the projects and tests, and she will make you laugh every class. I hate math, but with her as my professor, I did extremely well in her class.

Wonderful teacher and person. I have to work extra hard at math because I am not great at it but Nancy is wonderful at teaching it. She has a great spence of humor, Her test reviews are helpful, she records and posts each lecture on BB in case you miss anything, you can drop your lowest test score and there projects that can boost your grade.

I took the online version. She would always respond to any e-mails pretty quickly. And when you recieved a good grade she would praise you. I didn't however like that fact that there was so much to do for the online version, every time you turned around there was more! It was spread out threw like 3 differnt websites, confusing!

For a Math class she adds opportunities like Math Projects to offset the intensity of tests, I hate math but she made it interesting, and more fun than any other math teacher. She has a fantastic sense of humor!

I took MA107 before with a different teacher he was very hard and the way he graded was very harsh. Nacy has you do homework, but your get a grade for it unlike other math classes they just give you the homework and if you do it, well good for you... she also has projects and really cares for her students and want's everyone to pass. Great teacher!

Easily the best math teacher I've ever had, and very possibly the best math teacher out there. No joke. I would truly rather have had nobody else as a professor. She takes you through every process step-by-step and explains everything along the way. If you are not a math major, you NEED to take this course with Nancy. You will not regret it.

If you want a A take her, its not that she has a great personality and teaching style, its the little things like her using online videos of the lesson and dropping test and quiz grades that set her apart.

This teacher is absolutely the best I have ever had for a math teacher. She made learning so easy through an computer program. She called herself our math mom and she did fun little games each week on the graphing calculator. If you are not great at math or if you are great I would recommend her. She will get you there.

Nancy is probably the best professor out there. I've gotten above a 92% on all my tests... and that's Pre-Calc! I'm not a math genius by all means. She doesn't grade homework. Posts all of her lectures on black board, and her review tests are pretty much identical to the actual test. Easy A!

She is the best! You will always be laughing in class, and she'll be laughing with you. She gives tons of examples, clearly describes the processes, and even records her lectures so you can go back and watch them. Her review tests are extremely helpful, and if you do the homework, show up, and do the reviews, you'll get an A. I love my math mom!

Do the ALEKS pie chart homework and you will do really well - at the beginning of the class I was sure I was going to really struggle, but ALEKS walks you through step by step, and Mrs. Forrest is there to help you 100%. Such an awesome professor! I had an ALEKS class with her and taking math online was terrifying however with her it was super easy! The test is only about 25 questions and they're similar to the reviews. She understands and clarify anything you do not understand. But it's math, math isn't easy but she made it easy.

I absolutely LOVE professor Forrest! it has been an honor to be part of her "Math Family" she is very kind and funny and when I ask for help or do not understand a math topic she always seems to want to help and explain something further. she never gets upset or frustrated when you ask her questions unlike other math professor that I've had.

I'm not good at math but I found this class to be very easy. The aleks program was super simple and I figured it out quickly with it being my first time using it. Forrest was always quick to email back and you can tell she cares about her students.

One of the easiest math classes I've ever taken and I'm terrible at math. Her online math course is through ALEKS. The more you complete of it, the better grade you get. So easy and is at your own pace. Gives you credit where earned on tests if you show your work. Would take her class again in a heartbeat!

Professor Forrest is very caring and understanding but expects you to put in time each week online. She is great with communication and very supportive if you do not understand the problems and will help you. There are only 4 test at testing center but need to put the time in to ALEKS to get good grade. I would recommend this professor!

This class was difficult for me because it's been two years since I taken a math course so it was a lot of relearning of basic mathematics. This class does move at a fast pace but the teacher is the BEST I have ever had! Inorder to do well try to spend three hours throughout the day to work on homework as there is a lot, also we used ALEKS software

Nancy awesome- so goofy but so kind. She is a great professor and wants all of her students to succeed- she even calls herself your "math mom". I would defiently take her again. This class uses ALEKS. It is a lot of work but if you do the homework then the tests should be fairly easy.

The BEST PROFESSOR EVER! She wants all of her students to succeed; she's so nice! The coursework is through Aleks and it's not that difficult. Just put in the time and effort because it's a 5 credit hour course. She has a deadline for full credit before the end of the semester, but don't procrastinate because it can be a lot to do all at once.

The work is done online through an access code, online there are videos and practice that you can do. The teacher is also ve4ry good with questions and reviews areas of struggle for students.

Super caring and thoughtful. I've always struggled with math but the way she explains and teaches is super easy to follow. Class is ALEKS based so prepare to work on aleks, but she makes the units super manageable. She makes sure notes are posted after lecture so if you need to miss class, they'll be ready on Blackboard.

Do not slack on modules, she is very generous on test grading. She is a very understanding professor and will round your grade up at the end of the semester so do not bother asking. Again do not slack on the modules.

This class is basically an online class if you have ALEKS. I will say this and I mean it. DO NOT SLACK ON THE MODULES. trust me. professor Forrest is easily one of if not the best professors at the college. She is very open and wants to see her students succeed. I LOVED Nancy Forrest. This is basically an online course since she uses Aleks... it is really important to keep organized- do not slack off! Group projects- I thought I would hate them, but they weren't too bad. Occasional projects (they are easy). Tests are the review tests on Aleks but shorter. Pretty easy class with a PHENOMINAL math mom. :)

Professor Forrest is one of the sweetest, most compassionate professors I've had so far. I did not end up performing well in this class, but it was completely nobody's fault except my own; she would tell these adorable math-related puns! I cannot put into words how much I loved her this semester. I'd be honored to have her as my professor again.
