Wouldn't take again

Her lectures and assignments don't line up most of the time, we could be reviewing chapter 3 in class after just finishing chapter 5 material. ALEKS is a pain, you can spend hours working on one assignment. Communication between her and activity teachers is so minimal that they have a hard time answering our questions. Overall, go with other prof.

This class was by the far the most stressful class I've ever taken. Nancy just reads off the slides on her lectures and she is not really good at explaining stuff. There's also Aleks which is a lot of work and you have to teach yourself everything in this class in general. Her syllabus is also not up to date which makes it even worse. Unorganized.

She's made out to be worse than she actually is. She is very nice. It's only a 10-week class so it's a little fast-paced. The calendar and due dates are straightforward. This class will really just test your independence. If you read the textbook, take notes and always google things that confusing, you will be fine. You just have to seriously try.

You have to teach yourself most of the content in this class. There are 3 different online platforms for this class, and it gets confusing. Professor Gardner is without out a doubt an extremely inefficient teacher. First of all, she overcomplicates examples and instructions, relies on a calendar system for due dates that she sometimes messes up on, and is condescending when responding to questions asked by students in lecture, activity, or emails. Be prepared to teach yourself.

Nancy Gardner is by far the worst "educator" I have ever endured. Never did I ever think I would have the absolute displeasure of dealing with such an out of touch, inept, useless, condescending, incompetent, excuse of an educator. She doesn't actually teach anything, and you're forced to buy a $200 textbook written by her!!

I am very conflicted with Professor Gardner she is trying to make it fun nature about here but its one of those things where she is a great person not the best Professor. Her examples go really fast and are a lot easier than the problems we are given. And Its a very fast class and she doesnt slow down and gets frustrated when you are behind.
