Do the homework and the tests are no problem. She's very clear with her explanations and doesn't make you jump through any hoops. I had 95% or more of total points possible, and have only spent about an hour a week outside class.

As long as you do the HW and follow the course's materials you will be fine. Accounting it's hard when your learning but she'll do her best to help you inside and outside of class. If you give it your 10/10 she'll help you all the way. The course is intensive thought and fast pace so not for student that cruises along.

Mrs. Ghodrat mage me interested in a subject I didn't know I was interested in. She is also very helpful during her office hours and if you complete the homework you will easily pass the tests. I definitely recommend takng her accounting 11 class.

Very nice lady, the subject is really hard yet she teaches it pretty well, lots of hw, quizzes per chapter and final exam. The computer things that she made us do were really annoying though because it took forever to do. Def a class you need to put effort into but she'll help you if you just ask

The on-line class requires alot of reading and self motivation. You have to basically teach yourself. However, she provides EXCELLENT learning tips, outlines, power points and anything else you can think of! She will help you with anything you may need assistance with. Is very Kind, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable! Definatly Recommended!

There's a lot of quizes and tests but they are so easy and Nancy is more than willing to help you if you get stuck on a problem. Her goal is to see you succeed as well as understand the material. She's a great teacher.

Professor Ghodrat is an excellent teacher. I took the class on line so did not meet her personally, however I found her to be extremely helpful and communicative. She answered emails promptly and provided timely and helpful communications via the Angel on-line school site. I was lucky to have her as a teacher!

Tests are weekly. As well as homework. Follow the instructions from website and you'll get your A.

I did the online course. Nancy is extremely helpful and gave very quick responses to emails. There's a lot of work to do for this class, but if you keep on top of the reading and do all the homework and test prep you can get so much out of it (and a good grade). I found studying from the textbook helpful only after her lectures. She gives a lot of resources to use for studying. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM! Took this summer '11. Very fast. 3 chs. in one week. Teacher is great though. Very thorough, happy to answer Q's, gives lots of extra credit. I'd advise def take this during a regular semester. So you have more dedicated toward each ch. However the summer session is totally doable if you go to class, study, do her practice exams, study guides etc.

Accounting 11 goes a little quicker than 10, so it's important to attend class and pay attention. The semester project isn't bad, just make sure you're in a group with reliable people. Not very many hours of studying are needed. Just have to take time to do the homework on Wiley Plus and take time to study for the tests. Remembering Accounting 10 is helpful for a majority of the semester. I found that Accounting 11 was harder than Accounting 10. Mrs. Nancy's teaching is very clearly. I like her teaching style. She is also warm-hearted when you go to her office hour. She is always available during her office hour. In the beginning, it is a bit hard for taking this class, but later I catch up her teaching style and like it very much.

Her class is very demanding. tests are hard as you have to remember all the content of the statements. acct. 10 is harder than acct. 11. an less you are familiar with some concepts of acct. don't take it on the summer. the project is time consuming. you have to leave spaces while taking notes as she writes all over.

I took Professor Ghodrat's ACCT10 class online and let me just say you have to stay on top of it because it's very fast pasted. Every week you are assigned two chapters which you have hw and an exam. Coming from a procrastinator, you can do it. Professor Ghodrat is extremely helpful! You get extra credit every time you see a tutor.. take this class

Struggled in acounting 10 but with miss ghodrat i passed 11 with an A. She has an accent but will repeat things as needed. She does get frustrated with students who dont take things seriously. She loves it if you participate.

She prepares you for her exams by giving you in class assignments and group work, if you don't work hard don't expect to pass. She is always there to help students when it is needed and her exams are similar to the in class problems. The one group project is too big if you ask me, but she always is willing to answer a question. Online assignments give you many attempts so you can figure out what you are doing correctly or incorrectly, but penalizes you for the 3rd attempt so you can't earn 100% credit if you guess and check. Would take 4 further classes if I pursued accounting

Great class! She is nice and funny. She is more than happy to help students who need help. In my opinion, for a 5 units course, the amount of homework is manageable, exams sometimes are challenging. There were a lot of group's exercises (just to practice, not graded). Participate in the class and you'll get good grade.

great teacher, took her managerial accounting course. gives you all the material you need to achieve an A. she records lectures so if you did not get it the first time you can always watch them again. she gives you everything you need to get a high letter grade, its up to you to put forth the effort, and if you do that you are in great hands.

She even helped me add her course even when I couldn't afford it and was having difficulties. She's an outstanding person and professor! Ghodrat is a pretty cool teacher. I took her online and she was very responsive to emails and questions, especially regarding the IBM project. The work isn't too hard, as long as you actually learn the material chapter by chapter. The homework is time consuming but what do you expect? It's an accounting class. Took Nancy for both of my Accounting Classes, and I pass both classes with an A! she's very specific with the exams content so is easy to study and pass with an A. She uses Willey Plus which i think is a very helpful site. . EASY A !!

Just as long as you do your homework on wileyplus and study what she says to study for the exams, you should pass with an A. If you struggle with wileyplus, do the practice first and look at how they do it just to make sure you get as much credit as you can. She is very funny and sassy in my class but not sure if she is like that for every class.

Very intelligent and is always willing to help. Took her in the winter/hybrid course. Homework and exams including the final are all online, lectures are in class. Do your hw (make sure you do practice first/keep clicking submit until they show you solution) no pts deducted on practice. HW is exactly like the tests..w/the help of the internet.

She's intelligent, smart, funny, and doesn't tolerate disrespectful attitudes in class. She shows you exactly what the homework will be like as well as what will be on tests. The class is very fast paced, be ready to lose your mind. As long as you put in the study time you'll pass. The only con is that she takes off lots of days from class

Took her over the winter. In order to pass go to practice questions, click next 3 times and get the answer. It will help you with the HW. She told us about this technique so we can all pass. Winter course is fast-paced with 1 chapter a day but the class is capable of self-learning. She does a participation question once a week so, show up.

Nancy is a fantastic professor. I took her for Fin and Managerial. She lectures very well. You receive printouts of all the lecture slides you need at the beginning of each chapter, so you can avoid buying the book. She tells you exactly what types of problems to expect on tests and communicates well in general. A pleasure to have as a professor.

I like Nancy. You can get an A in her class easily if you study and attend all of her lectures. She really knows her stuff and breaks things down for you. She can have a short temper at times, but I wouldn't take it personally. I plan on taking her again for managerial!! (Gives out lots of extra credit)

Nancy made this two-hour long class worth it, she's so nice and funny and teaches the chapters thoroughly. Homework and textbooks are online, and you have plenty of time to complete it, and there are practice problems as well to help you. The study guide is extremely similar to test and gives 15-25 minute break each class.

Professor Ghodrat has a difficult accounting class but gives you every opportunity to pass and to learn the material. I took her online course, so there were plenty of notes/slides and videos of lectures to learn from. Homework can be overwhelming but you get 3 chances per question to get it right. I took Nancy during winter session and had four tests in total, one test a week. Had 3 chapters of homework to do each week on WileyPlus. The homework is due each week on Saturday by 11:59 while the online tests open on Friday morning and closes Sunday at 11:59. Nancy provided extra credit by participating in an online discussion. Recommend this!

This was my second semester with Nancy and I love her. My first semester with her was good but nothing special, but after two classes with her, I came to really enjoy the class. Homework and material are very simple and organized. I would go to every class because we bust out a chapter a day. Got almost 100% both semesters.

Great teacher. I put in about 15-20 hours per week on this class. Sometimes more. Important to really understand the terminology and do the practice assignments for best results. When I needed help, I was given the information I needed to do better. Very motivated to continue towards my bookkeepers credentialing. Thank you.

I had Acct 10 w Ghodrat in-person until COVID switched everything to online, then I took Acct 11 online w her. Homework is straightforward, you have to listen to lectures and take good notes, and we had one project halfway through the class. I enjoyed this class & professor. Prof Ghodrat is a great teacher for accounting! She used to work for the Big 4 and is extremely knowledgeable. I took her class in the summer and in the fall because I needed to take 10 and 11. There is homework every week and if you listen to her recommendation of doing the practice problems as well as the homework you will be fine.

Loved the class and wish I could take more for my major! Prof. Ghodrat is an awesome teacher and cares for her students and their success.

Prof. Ghodrat was a really good teacher and I would take her again if I had the chance! Prof. Ghodrat knows what she is doing and will help you through the course at whatever point you need assistance. If you're a business admin major and you need accounting 10 or 11, I highly recommend taking Prof. Ghodrat. No cap.

Professor Ghodrat was awesome. Not a numbers person, had to take class for Bus Major. She usually began the class with real life events that related to what were were learning. She is engaging and is open to questions at any time. She goes over the each chapter (via Power Point slides) previews homework. She knows her topic! She is a talking book!

Nancy was amazing! She answers all your questions and concerns, and is extremely fair when it comes to homework/tests. She's the one of the realest professors here at West Valley College, and is super down to earth. As long as you do your homework on time and don't procrastinate, tests should be a piece of cake. Very encouraging

Professor Ghodrat was attentive, enthusiastic and genuinely wanted the best for students. Accounting itself is not very easy, but she made both ACCT 10 & 11 bearable and offered a lot of help and some extra credit opportunities. Would 100% take her class again if had to.

I took professor Ghodrat for accounting 10 and 11 both online and she was a cool teacher. Sometimes she would make weird jokes that kind of felt forced but i did learn alot and respect her alot. If you want a teacher you will learn alot from choose her but watch out for her weird humor

Class was remote although through zoom she was very good at explaining concepts

She is the best accounting professor that I took. Take her & do the work, and you'll pass. There's 1 project, which is split into 2 parts. We had to do 3 tests with every 3 chapters included. She will answer your questions when asked or emailed. She gives extra time to students who are in AEC. Her lectures are very helpful; take good notes.

Took classes with Prof.Ghodrat for both ACCT 10 and 11. She explains concepts well and is very clear about what is expected in her class. She cares about students and is willing to help. Great teacher!

Very nice and knowledgeable professor. Patient to reply to my questions and gave me advice. I hope to take her another class. She guided me to solve the problems to help me to understand why instead of just giving straight answers.

Love professor Ghodrat, took her for financial accounting and had to take her again for managerial. I love how every week its the same schedule of one homework assignment, a discussion every once in a while, and 4 total exams which are just like the homework. Shes understanding and gives quick responses any time I reach out, def one of my favs.

Such an amazing and easy going professor. Took her managerial accounting class this summer, and had such a great experience with her. She gives light homework, the lectures are long, but detailed and well explained, and we only had three exams. I recommend you all take her course. Loved professor ghodrat!

teacher was very easy to deal with. it was an amazing experience with professor ghodrat. she assigns a lot of homework which will take time to do so I suggest you do the practice problems before taking the tests and homework lectures.

Th teacher is very kind and understanding, she helped me out to make sure i passed the class with a grade i was happy with. Homework could be a little time consuming at times but as long as you turn everything in on time and are on top of all your assignments you should be able to pass without a doubt.
