Great teacher!Very patient. Her test is not easy but if you study hard everything is right from the text book

Excellent teacher - very straight-forward and approachable with questions. Strict on deadlines - does not accept late papers, so just follow the guidelines. I liked that she brought case studies in to make the information "real" and encouraged discussion. This is not a goof-off class, but if you treat it like college you'll be fine.

She's a pretty nice teacher. Her classes aren't too boring. A lot of the questions on the test come from the book, so if you read and study a little, it's an easy class.

I really liked Mrs. Gup. She was really helpful and she listened to her students and took to heart what they said.

Dr. Gup was pretty good. She took roll everyday though. Most of her test questions came from the online tests from the book. She showed lots of videos relating to the things she covered. A pretty good class overall.

Not going to lie..boring class. She takes attendance. Always be on your feet because she gives random quizzes, so you have to constantly keep up with every module & definitely read! Heavy reading!

Everything from online study program used in quizzes and test. If you read the book and keep up with the modules its very easy. Pay attention to powerpoints and you will do fine

Professor Gup is wonderful. She wants you to pass the class. If you read the material and study the powerpoint you will do well.Her test are directly from the book and multiple choice.

Dr. Gup was a good teacher. I took her hybrid class. She has interesting discussions, but we didn't always have time to discuss because it was hybrid. I suggest you take her normal class if you are really interested. Exams were all online; decent time and not too hard. Reading gets heavy at times. Take notes while reading. I def. recommend her!

Fabulous instructor. Very caring, fair and interested in students. She truly listens and encourages partication in the classroom and online. This was my second hybrid course. I definitely would recommend Dr. Gup to fellow students that want to learns about psychology.

I took Dr. Gup's summer online Abnormal Psychology course. Although it was online and only 9 weeks, I learned more than I usually do from other instructors. Very well organized and interesting class.

I feel as if I learned a great deal on the subject and would highly recommend this course to others. The fact that this professor is not just part of academia but is also heavily involved in the actual practice of psychology greatly enhances the learning ability of the students.

Dr. Gup is fabulous! She makes learning exciting and interesting. Chapter 13 on psychological disorders is definitely her baby. Looking forward to taking her Abnormal Psychology course.

I took the hybrid class and it was very interesting. Dr. Gup is a sweet lady who really has a passion for psychology, especially Psychological disorders. Tests/pop quizzes come right from the book and are taken online; anyone should be able to pass this class if you study.

Dr. Nancy Gup is my favorite college teacher. She loves teaching, responds to all questions in class or email, and does everything she can to help you to learn. She also is extremely funny during her lectures.

I took an 8 week course while working 40+ hours a week. Dr. Gup made it very convenient by posting all the assignments at once and you were able to work on them at your own pace, as long as it was done by the due date. I am happy the semester is over, but I am sad too because I truly enjoyed this class. TAKE HER ONLINE!

Professor Gup is a lovely woman. The class consisted of 3 exams worth 20% each, one short final worth 10%, a brief one-day course activity worth 10% and a bunch of online quizzes (five of which were taken at random and averaged to give a quiz grade) worth 20%. Her exams were all offered online and in class, and are all open book/laptop.

Dr. Gup my favorite professor. She truly cares, gives fascinating and interactive classes, and goes the extra mile to help. You definitely should take both her 1101 and 2621 courses.

Took her online. I can't believe she has a 3.5 ! This class is VERY interesting and eeeaassyyy. Discussions are very interesting. YES, you need your book, but the chapters are interesting and I HATE reading !! Take her, she's easy.

Amazing professor. She is very interesting, sweet, and willing to help with anything. Sometimes her tests were confusing, or an answer was wrong on the test. But, if you bring it up to her politely and with in-book proof, she will gladly adjust your grade. Tests are all open-book.

Dr. Gup was an awesome professor and the content of the course was actually really interesting. She is very sweet and flexible, honestly I don't know why people gave her a low score on here. The workload isn't too bad either and the tests are open note, open book, very straightforward.

Doctor Nancy Gup is one of my favorite professors. She is not only experienced in the field, but also very clear when teaching the material. I know it sounds cliche, but really read the book, invest some time into the powerpoint, and do her quizzes and you'll make an A in the course. Easy A and fun material, why WOULDN'T you take her?

Spend the time reading the book and power points. Do the quizzes and you'll pass her test. She has a passion for the subject and it comes out in her teaching. Very helpful professor.

Professor Gup's Abnormal Psychology class is a cake walk. Everything is online except for tests and everything is open book. You almost don't need to come to class, that's how simple it is. The final exam wasn't cumulative and it was only 25 questions. There are 12 quizzes, one writing assignment and 4 exams. Super easy, you shouldn't fail.

Take this professor! GREAT instructor! She is very diligent on answering your questions and concerns. Makes the class simple and crystal clear, while also making the information interesting and easy to understand! Tests are a breeze. Passed with an A. Take her!!

Dr Gup always had a smile on her face. She welcomed questions or concerns. If you read the chapters and her slides, you will get an A. All tests were open book. Still must read the chapters. I found the material very interesting. She has a passion for the material which made coming to class fun and educational.

Look no further this is the BEST Instructor I have taken at GPC. She replies immediately, great communication, let you do quizzes at your own pace, quizzes are like extra credit because you are guaranteed to make 100 on each, just the right amount of optional discussions, 4 Exams, & one final. It was a half semester and I made a solid A. TAKE HER!

This professor gives very good feedback, and keeps the course interesting. Look no further. The layout of the course is very comprehensive and I was able to do well even though I have a full load. Take this professor, you will not regret it. I did the minimester.

I took her hybrid class at dunwoody and it was good but you had very little time to complete hard , long tests. She took the highest 4 and most of it was open book . Her powerpoints are pointless though you will need the book to understand the material and pass the class. She is very sweet and helpful though and gives loads of opportunities to pass

I took Dr. Gup this summer semester as a half-term Abnormal psych class. She's great! She's very educated and experienced in her field. Her lectures were super interesting. Her assignments are mostly easy. Tests were a bit hard. I definitely recommend her!

Took Dr. Gup Spring 2016, great teacher, very informative power points,weekly quizzes fairly short, 3 exams, and one paper about a psych case, read the power points and you'll do fine, didn't buy the book for this class and still did well

Dr Gup is one of the nicest teachers!!!! even though i took her class online. She is very helpful and knowledgeable. Very nice and pleasant too. I got the book but I mainly studied her powerpoints and used the book as back up. Would definitely recommend her!!

Dr. Gup is a nice teacher. For abnormal psychology, the tests were all open notes which was nice. However, some questions are very specific, so it's good to have read the book. There was one project due and extra credit offered. Her lectures were more of a brief run through of some powerpoints and socializing.

She is an awesome teacher! I loved how she sent me an email encouraging me to continue doing my best after I scored. She is encouraging and caring. She will get back to you as soon as possible. I had her for online classes this summer, so I didn't interact as much with her. She also gives extra credit discussions so that's also great!

I really enjoyed taking her class. Every week she posts videos and articles related to what we are learning and it makes it interesting to read! There is a lot of reading involved, but there are no discussion questions! Overall a great teacher, that I would take again. Not a super hard class, read the book and you will be fine!!

I had taken this course online during the summer. There was an extremely lot of reading but as long as you did the reading you will pass this class with flying colors. The professor provided good readings that went along with some chapters. She was timely with the response and provided good feedback to papers.

Took Dr. Gup for Abnormal in a mini-master course. It was self paced, which allowed me to work ahead. Read your text, stay on top of deadlines, and you'll be just fine!

Dr. Gup is an excellent professor who knows and cares deeply about this material. There is a lot of material, but Dr. Gup is always available outside of class, inclusive and encouraging in class, interested in different points of view and lively discussions. You will really enjoy this class and learn a tremendous amount.

I enjoyed Dr. Gup so much. I learned so much in her class that I can use in life in general and especially in my future career. She is very caring, understanding, but you have to do the work. I recommend her 10 times over. There are 16 quizzes, 5 exams, Discussions and a final exam. I have nothing bad to say about her she's awesome!

Dr. Gup, or sometimes respectfully known as Dr. Guppy, is by far my favorite teacher ever. She is passionate and extremely well-versed in the field of psychology. I took both her Introduction to Psychology and Abnormal Psychology courses and would encourage everyone to do the same. She goes over and beyond what most other professors do to inspire.

Professor Gup was nice, but I would expect a psychology professor to be more understanding of students. The class is easy if you do your work.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! I would take all classes with her if it were possible. She is SUPER caring and it shows through her grading and work. The reading is very heavy so be ready to plan ahead and I myself completed coursework in advance to stay ahead of the ball. She's truly amazing and so caring. I enjoyed this class and the online study plan used. It was a lot of information but it was organized and delivered in a digestible way. Discussion posts are intriguing and Dr. Gup gives thoughtful feedback. She's smart, caring and even met with me outside of class to discuss my interest in graduate school. I would recommend Dr. Gup to anyone.

Amazing professor! All the work was online, including the final exam, and we did have to buy a book for about $20. She drops a few grades at the end of the semester as well. I got an A in the class and would recommend it.

Very sweet lady! She's willing to answer questions and very forgiving of late work. She doesn't require excuses if you cannot submit certain assignments, and her discussions are straightforward. Loved the content, but some of the program needs to be shortened and revised. Otherwise, great class, great professor! You can tell she cares.

This class was easy follow and Dr. Gup cares about her students. We covered 1-2 chapters a week. Each week we had a quiz, a discussion post (and replies), and practice questions. Most weeks are pretty easy as long as you get started by Monday or Tuesday.

Dr. Guppy is the sweetest, and the online (interactive) textbook that she requires you to use is amazing! I took this course in the summer, so yes the weeks/reading came and went very quickly, but Dr. Gup (and Isaac) cheered you on along the way. The quizzes are exactly like the practice quizzes which helps a lot!

If you're interested in abnormal psychology, take her. Her lectures were incredibly well-organized, making it easy to follow and understand complex topics. She's very passionate about the subject, and her enthusiasm is contagious. She's approachable and always willing to answer questions. She's definitely the professor to take!
