Nicest person you ever want to meet and very funny and witty. Her class are a little boring and if you read the chapters there is no need to show up. She does take role though. Average grader, if you think you did bad it will reflect. Gives great curves. Recommend taking this class during the day. This night class was tortuous at times.

This is a difficult subject matter - great teacher though. She does take role every class, plus taking notes definitely halps prepare you for exams. Be awake for the class - don't take it at night.

Her legal class was actually not bad. I was nervous at first that it was hard, but naw. Take her in person, not online. She even said she gives online people difficult problems vs in person. 4 multiple choice test all semester. She gives you a study guide, don't bother with it. None of the questions are on the test. Read the book! it will save you.

I think Dr. N. Johnson is very clear with her lectures. However, the subject is kind of confusing in some aspects but she makes it interesting and fun at the same time. I really enjoy being at her class. One of my favorite teachers.

I was very reluctant in taking this class because I had tried once before but after attending the class face-to-face I gain clarity from Nancy Johnson. She makes the material easy to understand and her delivery is excellent.

Dr. Nancy Johnson is an awesome profesor. I took her class online and had no problems with understanding the material, etc. I do find the coursework easy, but then again I read the textbook. You will use the textbook for every assignment. Make sure to remember what you read to prepare for the quizzes and exams. Dr. Johnson is also very nice!

Mrs. Johnson is very helpful and explains things very clearly. This is a very good class.

At first it looked like this class was not going to be easy but she is a wonderful teacher and explained everything really well. She explains the essays really well so you will get 100% , she lets you use notes on your test and the study guide so do it! it will help a lot. A few jokes here and there but very good teacher:)

I have to say this class was not my favorite of subjects and really didn't appeal to me. I did learn some things and she was very helpful and very knowledgeable. She lets you use notes on test which is very helpful because her test are hard. Also grades on a curve. Over all a good teacher.

Shes a great teacher and i would recommend her to anyone. She's very helpful and upbeat which helps because the subject can be boring at times. The tests are HARD but luckily she allows you to use your notes and the two papers that are assigned are not too bad either.

I absolutely loved her class and I took it online, which I definitely recommend doing. It's challenging, but not impossible. Out of all my classes this semester I learned the most from this class and it was a very interesting subject. She is quirky/fun and very helpful!

This class is easy if you read the chapters and the documents the professor gives. Her documents are very helpful and informative. Quizzes can be a bit hard, but again, easy if you read the book carefully. I like this class online so far!

this is the best online course I've ever taken! I have learned an incredible amount. I did not rate the course as easy because the issues are fairly complex and answeres can be as detailed as you care to make them. Some students seem to skim the surface of the material, but there are many resources available for digging in.

Mrs. Johnson is a great professor and really has a lot of knowledge about the course she teaches. The work load and difficulty is fair and I found them to be fun, as you get to deal with real life situations.

This class on Business Law was very challenging, but the information is good to know for life situations. Mrs. Johnson was a great professor. I took the class online and she was always timely with responses and gave constructive and helpful feedback. There was not a whole lot of homework, but it was very important to read the textbook!!

Nancy provided the class with a syllabus which was well planned and kept to the schedule as well. At the beginning i though it would be difficult being a full-time student and worker, but it was a good class. Defintly kept me on my toes and enjoyed the class.

Great class great professor, there are weekly assignments, discussion board posts and several quizzes. No midterm only quizzes and final. Quizzes are difficult but mainly because the questions are a little vague. Other then that I would recommend this course with this professor. Good luck!

I really enjoyed the class, very informative and thorough.

You can use older versions of the textbook, there are 2 papers, 2 midterms, and a final exam open note exams. Dr. Johnson is a lot of fun and the course material is interesting. Grading curve is overly generous, which dilutes the grades of those who earn top marks. If you can score a 75% on every assignment, you will get an A in this class.

Dr. Nancy makes an otherwise challenging (and oftentimes boring) subject and makes it interesting by injecting it with humorous anecdotes. Exams are open notes, and she provides a study guide, which coincides with most of the exam questions. Older versions of the textbook can be used for the class, instead of the overpriced MSJC custom editions.

Dr.Nancy was great. She made the material very easy to remember by using modern day language and humor.Her lectures went right along with the book and she let class out early.She gave a very generous curve on all the exams and they were all open note. They're were only 2 midterms 2 essays and the final. She wasn't a stickler on attendance.

Fantastic professor! For an online class, it challenges to think in depth about legal issues in business. In addition, Dr. Johnson provides feedback on your submissions in a very timely manner. This class is not "easy", but it is rewarding if you are able to put in the time and effort and you show it in your homework to Dr. Johnson.

It was an interesting class. I needed to learn some stuff on business law I didn't know until I took this class. She doesn't make it easy, but her motive is to see how much or if you are learning what you need to. I like the fact that she always gave feedback to help you know if you are getting it all right or what you did wrong.

I love Dr. Johnson's feedback on homeworks and discussion posts - very witty and encouraging. Quick responses too. Business Law is difficult but the textbook is easy to understand. So as long as you read the book and do all the requirements, getting an A wouldn't be a problem. Homeworks and Discussion can be challenging but not impossible to do.

That was great class. Assignments and discussions are very helpful in preparation for exams. Exams contain multiple choice and true false questions that generally are case examples. Some questions are tricky and required careful analyzing applying readings from the textbook. 25 questions, 45 minutes.

Great teacher and pretty easy, straight forward class. Expect discussion boards and assignments almost every week. The quizzes aren't too bad and you take them for every three or four chapters that are covered. The only thing that was hard for me to get use to was that all work was due by Saturday. Other than that, it was a good class.

Dr. Johnson's class was fairly difficult due to all the work that needed to be done online weekly. Overall, each assignment is pretty easy to accomplish, but it is. Wry time worthy. She is a straightforward and very helpful professor that will tell you what is right and wrong, but she is great and I would suggest to take her class.

Typically you would have a discussion with an initial post due Thursday before midnight, and two responses to classmates by Saturday before midnight. There are also assignments, which are responses to cases. There are also Tests throughout the semester. The teacher is organized and addresses problems in a timely fashion.

Dr. Johnson is very organized and gives you a master schedule of her class which she strictly follows. She gives feedback and posts your grade in a timely manner. There are discussion board questions, assignments and 25 question quizzes but not all in one week. I enjoyed this class because she made it easy for me to learn.

I took online class. Discussions and assignments were very interesting and helpful to understand material better. Each test covers three or four chapters and basically consists of short case problems and couple true/false questions. Tests are not easy. Mrs. Johnson never procrastinates grades and always puts comments with suggestions.

This class was by far the best class I took this semester. Test are difficult and you must read each chapter thoroughly because you will be expected to know the material. The syllabus is precise. I enjoyed this class because the material kept me engaged. The professor provides you with clear feedback wether it positive or negative.

Not a hard class, if you keep up on the reading, but you need you have time aside for some of the assignments given. Some of the assignments are easy, but a few will take your week just in research. She is very helpful and if you explain your situation for missing an assignment or quiz, will work with you.

I'm never lost. Online classes can be a bit overwhelming when the load is heavy. Professor Johnson has an easy to follow along set-up, and is always there to help.

Shes a great professor, if you make mistakes on due dates, she will give you some passes, but only like 1. Participation is a must, considering its an online course. Assignments are not difficult.

Unique teaching style. Every assignment is related to the next one and so on. Lots of researching and reading, but all assignments are spelled out for you and are easily completed with reading the chapters. Professor gives great feedback on each assignment which really helps.

I really enjoyed this class. She does make you work for your grade, but she definitely rewards your efforts. She is very clear in what she wants and how she wants it and grades accordingly. I highly recommend Nancy Johnson as an professor. She is very down to earth, extremely organized, and made learning online as easy as she possibly can.

The grading criteria is set out for you from the beginning. The instructor is big on participation, and you receive points from your participation. She also gave great feedback, and encouraging words with the grading of assignments.

I took the online class but I still learned so much and enjoyed this course. It would take a while though for the instructor to respond to emails. There are some assignments that take a lot of effort and research. However, if you start early in the week and do not wait until the last minute, it should be a breeze. She was great overall.

She gives you a master schedule so you know which assignments you need to get done each week. The class isn't too hard. Just do the work and you'll be fine.

Feedback and grades were posted pretty fast most of the time. Master schedule was given for all homework and quizzes. Do the work and you should get a great grade.

Overall, the class is great. It had a healthy balance of assignments, quizzes, and discussion boards. Furthermore, I would like to say that by allowing all assignments to be due on Saturday is awesome. I work full time, school full time, and a family. It can be demanding at times. The way this class is structured is great.

Overall great course! The readings are usually 1 chapter per week, sometimes it can go up to 3 chapters a week, but not often. She always gives feedback on discussions and assignments. Also, read the syllabus!! Look over the due dates.

I found that I enjoyed the class more that I expected and Dr. Johnson is an excellent instructor. The weekly assignments were challenging but not too difficult. Her instructions were clear, concise. and easily understood.

I am highly impressed by the organization of this course. All the other online courses I have taken are always so complicated to navigate. This is not an easy A but not too difficult either. My only critique is how crazy expensive the textbook is.

I took Legal Environment of Business. I really enjoyed the course. The assignments were clear and really helped to understand the material. The discussion boards allowed for a good amount of engagement and discussion among classmates. And Prof. Johnson is very helpful and gives great feedback on the assignments. Easy online class to do if you have children and a job.

She does know how to be nice, be concise, come through, not make it hard, understanding, compassionate, organized, funny, thorough, timely, allowed me more time, flexible, and could learn at a great pace.

Professor is very helpful and comprehensive. Her online class was very smooth and the amount of work is not bad. Test and quizzes are easy, nothing than material covered through the chapter and her grading is fair.

Professor uses Cengage for weekly chapter homework and quizzes. Very easy to navigate. Pay attention to weekly schedule as some weeks have a discussion board and an additional assignment, while other weeks just have one or the other.

She assigns a lot of work, but I was struggling with discussion board posts. She did eventually help me understand what I was missing, as she really does care.

Take this class online, not in class! Everyone I know says they received ridiculous amounts of work and this online class was just an assignment, discussion boards, and MindTap quizzes which are easy. No final, just the MindTap quizzes. She gives good feedback, and citing everything is a must!

I took her online class and I really enjoyed it! If you do all the work assigned and put effort into it you will easily pass with a B or higher. Would recommend her! She also wants to help and responds to your emails/questions fairly quick which is one thing I loved!

GREAT TEACHER! This is my first class with Mrs. Johnson. She provides a CLEAR grading criteria & expectations. Gives EXCELLENT feedback! Make sure to site ALL work (DB post & replies & HWK) or it WILL hurt your grade! There's A LOT of homework (weekly folders), reading your textbook chapters are a MUST! I would RECOMMEND this taking the class.

She was really sweet. The homework was on MindTap but it was easy and helpful to learn the material. You need to participate within the discussions or you will fail. But overall she is very understanding and easy. I would take this class again or have her as a professor for a different business class! :)

Nancy Johnson is extremely knowledgeable. I have learned a great deal on the basics in regards to Law. I had now idea, and have an enhanced respect for those that choose law as a profession.

The feedback gives you a better clarity of the questions asked. She is firm in the work being done on a timely manner. There are exceptions when blackboard is down. I like how there are videos on each chapter. I am a visual learner and it helps. I think more videos would help especially with the amendments.

I took BADM 201 online. Though there is a lot of reading with any class this class it easy to follow along between discussions, homework, and tests. I would say the only thing that did suck, but was my own doing was the grading of the discussion boards and assignments. Must be cited.

Very clear on what they want you to do and what to work on.

Professor Johnson was a great professor! Did wonderful on the Mindtap and Assignments, but the Discussion questions were pretty hard to get higher than a C on. Even when I posted the source at the end of my post, I would still get 7/10. She could be clear when it comes to citing sources. Overall, the class was a great experience!

I wouldn't say that this class if very difficult. Honestly, you just have to do the work. There is some reading, but it's mostly to support your points in the discussion & assignments. We had a weekly case assignment, discussion board, and MindTap "quizzes" which are just a handful of worksheet-like assignments. Overall, a straightforward class.

I really enjoyed all aspects of this online class! I learned a lot!

No confusing about grading criteria, easy simple going. Gives a small extra credit chance just encase an assignment was missed. Sometime is one chapter to read for the week other times it can be two chapters but the assignments and discussion board are not that hard to.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. MindTap was a success in my opinion because of the activity variety. I think this class required a lot of work, time, and effort -- but not more than one can handle. I'm taking 16 units right now and I finished with an A in this class. It wasn't easy, but it was a priority. Great teacher, great class.

Very clear instructions, answers questions, extra credit at the end of the semester. Many small assignments on Cengage but super easy (multiple attempts to get a 100%), weekly discussions participation is a must, no quizzes or test. Would definitely take again and recommend this class to anyone and this professor.

Fulltime worker/student and this class was a breeze. Reading/homework/Discussion/Writing assignment due every week. Just do all your work early and itll go good. Make your writing lengthy so she knows youre paying attention to reading. Participate in the discussions as well. She grades slow and really goes thru your work so dont BS!

Professor Johnson demands the best from each student and is there to assist you when you felt overwhelmed. I learned more in this class than any other legal or law class I have ever taken and give Professor Johnson the highest marks possible as this class was difficult but she guided me through it. P. Johnson is great. She can get behind on grading though! There is 1 discussion board and assignment up load per week. Also there is a high amount of assignment in cengage, but if you read the material you can get them done very quickly and multiple attempts to get correct. highly recommend this professor.

This class isn't difficult but there is a lot of writing involved. You must cite your sources, failure to do so will result in a dinged grade. Class is quite engaging however and Professor Johnson is available by email or phone. She will give extended feedback IF YOU ASK FOR IT!!! She wants to see her students succeed.

You will have weekly discussion and assignments due. She uses Cengage which makes things way easier so as long as you stay on top of your work you will pass the class.

Great teacher because it was online there was no book required only cengage was needed. Very easy going quickly response to emails if there are issues. Will take her classes again for any other business courses I still need.

She is a great professor although some instructions felt a little unclear. The class is not too hard if you just do all your work. The mindtap assignments are also very forgiving.

Responds to communication w/in a reasonable amount of time. Fair with grading. Exceptional feedback on assignments and coursework. Would definitely take a course from again. Easy to follow along with text, discussions & assignments. Descriptions for assignments & discussions are clear.

Does not accept any late work. Her class is very straightforward, do your work and do all the reading. The only reason I received a B+ is I missed a few assignments; although she does allow makeup work on specific assignments and days, I still did not take advantage of that time. Other than that, she is fantastic and an easy class.

I really enjoyed this class. The work is straight to the point and the work routine is repetitive so once you have what you have to do down (routine-wise) you'll be fine for the rest of the semester. The only difficult part would of course be the studying but the Mindtap will help you with that. I suggest this course to anyone who needs this class.

This was a great class. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The information was interesting. I would recommend this class.

Fall 2023. In the beginning of this class I thought I was doing the first two discussion board assignments correctly until they were finally graded. Once I realized that I was doing them wrong and how she wanted us to answer the scenarios at hand I started doing them correctly. Sometimes her instructions aren't clear so ask questions!

This class can be challenging, but Professor Johnson's clear instructions and helpful feedback make it manageable. The reading and assignments are straightforward, and tools like Mindtap and Unstuck AI can be useful for study prep. Overall, a solid class worth considering.

I took BADM-201-3262 which was an online course. Professor Johnson was thorough in description of DB's, assignments, and homework related to the course through Cengage MindTap. Did take a little time to grade a few assignments and DB's so did not know where my grade stood at times but overall she was on top of things. I would take the course again.
