i like her alot and i passed her class with an A she does do alot of presentations but she is still great and her tests are easy she even outlines each individual chapter for u

I loved having class from Ms. LeGrand. Sure the class was a lot of busy work but I got through EN140 with an A and understood what the expectations were. There were times she did become moody but as long as you performed to her expectations of you there were no complaints to be made. I love her!!

The only thing that I would complain about this class is the overload of oral presentations and of group work. However, you do learn to be comfortable speaking in front of everyone. She was very helpful and sometimes lenient with grading. I made an A in this class.

I really enjoy this class, but there is a lot of work, such as presentations. But, if you show up and do the work (the work is easy) then you should get an A.

she is truly an excellent teacher. There are alot of group presentations but that is what helps your grade. They are fun and this class is a easy A. If you need a cool teacher please take her she is truly helpful, especially if she likes you. Honeslty I learned alot from her. People this is college of course she is going to ask alot outstudents

oh god u cant please some people. professor legrand is super easy all u have to do is show up occassionally and do the work. yeah u have a lot of projects but that is what helps ur grade. she is the nicest lady ever she will be a contact for life. her final is so easy i got a 110 and u don't have to study. if u show up everyday there is anice bonus

Mrs. Legrand is a good teacher. She keeps you interested with the many projects and application of the subject matter. She hates when people are late to her class! And can some catch a tude, but generally she is nice. Expects a lot from her students.

This was my first web based course and I'm glad. It was good. She was nice and has a clear explaination of what she wants. Homework and test weren't bad. There was just two bigger projects but you get plenty of time.

She is a fairly nice teacher. There is a lot of busy work but it is mostly done during class time. DON'T SHOW UP LATE or you will be put on her bad list. It's easy to get and A if you just do the hmwk and work well with groups. There has only been one test so far.

I took the online summer 8-week class. She is such a sweet lady, and she really cares about her students from what I could tell only through online interaction. The class is not hard at all as long as you try. Overall, it was a good class. I definitely recommend this professor!

Dude, If you think this is a bad teacher, then you seriously had no guidance or good upbringing of your life. She is the nicest lady and cares about her students. So whoever wrote she is a bad teacher, just likes to complain just like I am sure they have done their whole life. OH POOR ME!! Give me a break, toughen up people.

I LOVED HER! She's an amazing teacher and she is willing to help you with anything! I did one of my paper's wrong and she gave it back to me and let me re-do it.. And whatever you hear, she doesn't hate greeks, so don't not take her because of that!

Mrs. Legrand is one of the best teachers at SEMO. There is a great deal of busy work, but all of the work is to help you learn the material. If you go to class and study the study guides for the test, this class is a pretty easy A.

This was her business works class. Not sure how other UI classes are but we didn't follow topic. We learned a lot of helpful stuff though such as going to an ettiquette dinner. She doesn't like lateness and she doesn't like people missing class. Gives LOTS of extra credit!! Take her classes!

She is really nice and loves to teach. Do the work and extra credit and show up because attendance is extra credit. Very enjoyable class and yes you will write.

nice lady but can be hard at times. class is really informative though. she is very helpful when it comes to questions on advising and stuff like that.

Mrs. Legrand is a wonderful teacher. she has high expectations but I learned things about bus. comm. that I will remember and use throughout my life and career. you have several group projects and team leaders get extra credit. show up for class to get ec at end of semester. tests are easy and she gives you notes on chapters. she is awesome.

Legrand is prolly the best professor i have had at Semo so far. She is fun and allows you to have fun as well. You learn alot that you usually wouldnt care about.

Took MG252 online but did meet with her and emailed a couple times. Seemed VERY nice and was willing to help. Stickler for directions & doesn't take late work. Good class though; she does well with onlines.

Took Online section. It was a fantastic class. She has everything layed out and perfectly organized. She is stickler for directions but thats what you need to be in business communication. She is an awesome teacher and did a great job with the online class. I highly highly reccomend this class.

I was skeptical at first but soon learned to love her! She takes a pretty dry subject like business communication and makes it a fun class. I really liked her interactive teaching style, otherwise I probably would have snoozed in this class.

Great teacher. Vey fun class. Class centered around group projects and presentations. Projects centered around actual professional situations which makes the class interesting. The test were not bad at all. As long as you show up and try this should be an easy A.

My favorite class of the semester. She was awesome. For the most part class was very easy, but informative. Some hard projects throughout the semester, but it's group work. If you go to class and participate the class will be a breeze. Hardly any homework. I highly recommend this class with her.

She is probably the most strict teacher I've ever had. If you get on her good side, it is very easy to get an A, just be sure to show up to class.

I took this class online. She has been very helpful from the beginning. Everything is clearly laid out for you. She tells you exactly what she expects. Every week you have to read at least 1 chapter and do an assignment and quiz. Its not a hard class. She is extremely helpful and always kind. I wish I had met her in person!

She is probably one of the best professors I have ever had. If you show up on time and do your work, you will pass! She is very easy to get along with and there are very few tests. Be ready to present though. But she isn't a hard grader. I got a 100% on every speech I did!!

LeGrand is a great professor! She expects a lot from you, but she has a way of getting the best out of you and your work. The class isn't super easy, but it is there to help you learn and you are guaranteed to achieve that if she is your instructor. Actually going to her class is very important because if you miss it will probably fall behind.

Very easy for this class. Do weekly forum post about that weeks subject and get 10 extra credit points. Lots of assignments for 1 credit hour class but very easy.

This instructor is very good. Many students who don't attend class do not do well in it. She treats this class like you are going to a job. Just show up to class, and it is not to bad. She only shows respect to people who actually attend class.

Dr. LeGrand is by far one of my favorite professors at Southeast. She really wants you to get the most out of her class. I would take her again in a heartbeat if I got the chance.

This teacher was super understanding and genuine wants to see you succeed. I took this class online, and she stayed up to date very well. If there was any issue, she was more than willing to try and make it right.

Professor LeGrand is definitely excited about her field of work, and in turn that positive attitude rubs off on you throughout the semester even if you aren't that into business courses. Very good at responding and a very nice instructor who wants you to do well in life and in her courses. Highly recommend.

Great professor and super nice lady. We learned things that are actually relevant and it wasn't difficult at all. I usually hate giving speeches but she made it easy and gives plenty of time and help,and they're always with a partner. lots of guest speakers.

Professor Legrand is very clear on what you do each week and is responds to emails in a short timely manner. Her canvas page can be misleading, but most of the assignments were on MindTap (Cengage). She is strict on deadlines but is a very genuine person. Easy A if you put in the effort for the group project and read all of the weekly material.

Super easy class. There was one assignment per week (either a forum, discussion, or quiz). The only weird thing was that you could only do the work from Monday morning to Friday night. I never needed to email her because everything was straight forward.

Her grading is so easy. She gives marks easily but her canvas and assignment system is odd and unorganized. She is a sweet professor but her class and topic is somewhat confused me all the time.

This was by far the easiest class I have taken. It seems like it will be a lot of work at first because Legrand doesn't really explain things well but she gives you a paper of each assignment and you basically just follow it. We do a lot of things in class for points so be prepared to show up and it's only once a week.
