Nancy is a riot!! There is never a dull moment in her class. If you dislike English you need to take her class. When it comes down to business she gets serious and helps you in any way that she can. She is extremely passionate and loving.

Excellent teacher! The easiness is high because her clarity and willing to help is high, and most English teachers, especially in 102, are jerks and are unwilling to help - but Nancy is always willing! She is funny, the class is never dull, and overall she is a fun and exciting, down to Earth person! Took this as a summer course, little book use.

It may seem elementary, but it is the beginning of a strong relationship that you will develop with her. She truly cares about her students and expresses a great deal of concern about their lives. Fun out there teacher that makes class easy by making everything you do fun. Even in the one a week classes that are 3 hrs long class flies by rarely any homework just 5 essays.

She's an amzing and helpful teacher, she let me do a videography,instead of an essay and it really helped me out. She's very nice and she's always helpful to her students and seems to genuinely cares about her students.

I've never had a teacher who was more genuinely interested in me as a human, & in what I had to say than Nancy McCurry. Her way of teaching is totally unorthodox. She truly cares about making you think & question the usual. She cares about substance rather than structure & order. I can't begin to describe her in only 350 characters. She LOVES you.

My best professor yet! She practically radiates positivity, and I walk away from her class feeling "recharged". Also, despite the lack of structure, Nancy really gets you thinking. It's an insanely easy class, though, so don't go running.

I dreaded this class, made fearful by my 101 teacher who made it seem each and every detail was going to be meticulous and awful. Nancy is to bright and full of life.
