She is challenging as well as understanding to a students' needs. She will go out of her way to help a student. If the class is behind on the curriculum due to a cancelation or two, she will push back the due dates of assignments. She also has no problem assisting the class with review right before a test.

I am personally surprised to see so much harsh commentary on Nancy, whom I found to be an outstanding teacher. Not only does she keep class fun and energetic, she bends over backwards to help students. Keep in mind, she is very energetic and you'll leave her first few classes exhausted. Reed the book, use the study guide, you'll pass no problem.

Lots and lots of homework. This is my 6th term at MHCC and this class has had the most coursework by far. Lots of reading as well. I emailed this professor once and she never got back to me. Surprisingly this professor is an easy grader though!!!

The class itself is okay, I wouldn't recommend it for those who do not have 8 hours each week to contribute to the class. It is packed with homework and I would find myself staying up at night doing them. Assignments are also repetitive so it can get boring easily. But overall she is a good instructor and will reply to emails quickly.
