Nancy rocks. She is by far the best professor at Bridgewater State. She will help you out and guide you, but you have to want to work. She will listen to any of your problems and give you 100% help. Again, Nancy is the shiznit.

Great professor! She relates to students so well. The class is so much fun. Not a lot of work, but make sure you do the little that is assigned. Bribery works well.

I took this class as a recomendation and boy am I glad I did! I am a senior and this has been my favorite class so far at BSC. Q is one of the best profs...she teaches you things you never even realized you didn't know and makes it fun! TAKE THIS CLASS!

Maybe an easy class,but you learn a lot. Other than V&D, the random tangents she initiates in class and the things you learn are priceless. She takes a personal interest in her students too, which is more than most profs who just show up to get a check

After waiting about 3 semesters, I finally got into this class and it's everything I expected. The Queen is by far the greatest professor at BSC. No one is as down to earth, understanding and funny as Nancy. Take Voice and Diction, it's that simple.

the queen can be very abrasive in class but in reality if you need advice shes there. I didnt need this elective but I feel i got the most out of it that I did for my money of all the courses Ive ever taken at the college. She will have you rollin' Take the queen!

if you don't mind speaking in front of everyone, go for this class! also, don't be too shy or take offense to things. very laid back, but expect insults to fly around the room...you'll get used to it. funny as hell, and really awesome. keep up with your journal and you'll do fine

Nancy Owens will always be a professor Ill forever remember. Very bright and witty, I always get hyper and excited from laughing and joking around in her office. I am so happy I took a chance filling a vacant spot in my schedule with her class last minute.

She will help you graduate...she knows the ways. In her office there is always m&m's. If you have a mental breakdown, you'd better hope she is your advisor. All heil the Queen.

Class was great, if I remember right. The lessons about life are still crystal.

Seminar was tough, but the Queen was ALWAYS there to help out. She really gives a sh!t about her students, and wants to make sure we walk away with more than we bargained for. I'm bummed I didn't get to know her more, but I'm so glad I had the opportunity to take her class and understand the fabulousness.

The Queen is probably the MOST understanding and helpful professor at BSC...she makes you work for your grade, it is DEFINATLY not a cake walk but she will always be there to help you and answer questions no matter the time of day, she is the best professor at Bridgewater State, and by far the best professor in the communication department!!!

I am not even a comm majorr, and i had her years ago but going to her office for speaks was an addiction. It is a wonder how she has been able to put up with it for the past 3 years, but underneath all that saltyness and sarcasm she dispensed, she knows she loves me! I LOVE U TOO NANCE!!!!!

THE QUEEN RULES!!!! She's a great prof. you learn so much in her classes and she's never ever boring. The "words and reports" seem silly but are intersesting and the purpose of them shows you that she really wants us to learn stuff that's not just in the books. She's awsome!!! I HIGHLY recommend taking Nancy for Seminar... especially if you feel like laughing every class & actually learning from someone who is passionate about teaching!! She is the most down-to-earth & sarcastic professors you will encounter @ BSC. There is basically no work until the end of the semester with the final paper and projects.

By far the best professor I ever had in my college career. I wish I had taken her more that just for seminar. She expects a lot, but she is very understanding. EXTREMELY knowledgable. Class time is a riot, and she can act like one of the students.. I TOTALLY recommend taking her for as many classes as you can!! Love you "Aunt Nanc"!! ha

Theres nothing more to say other then she is the most incredible woman you will ever meet and if you don't take a class with her you are missing out on your college education. Always willing to help all of her students and our success in her class is what is most important to her. She even researches things for you if you get lost and confused. <3

One of the most intellegent women I have ever met! Has prior knowledge just about everything! You have to be able to adapt to any type of situation-Because believe me there will be bizzarre ones in this course! and esp. with "The Queen." I highly advice nobody take this class if you take life too seriously and cant take a joke! TEAM OWENS!

she is a great teacher and makes classes fly by, alittle strange but I think it is good for everyone to come across a person like her once in their lives. she likes to joke around, so you may think shes targeting you but she isnt. a lot of work but recommended!

owens is owens. there are great things and bad things. it's hard to explain her, so just take the class. it's worth it and she's a really good person.

Queen Nance is one of my best professors I have ever had at this school. Guaranteed to laugh every class and her assignments arent too bad. Always look forward going to class with her. The Queen made 2+12 hours feel like 1. She makes you speak. She puts everyone on the spot but in a funny way. You really develop a class relationship and get to know everyone. The speeches are very nerve-racking but they are on topics of your choice and no longer than 5 minutes but no shorter! You HAVE to take the course. TAKE HER. I lucked out.

Queen (as she refers herself) is one of the funniest teachers I've ever had. If you still need to take a public speaking class, I highly recommend taking her class! She will make you laugh every single class guarantee. She will not give anyone a grade lower than a B unless you really try hard not to do the work.

Funniest and best teacher by far at BSU, she was both a mentor and an inspiration. She is very open with her students and is not shy to tear into someone if they are acting like an idiot, in a hilarious way mind you. I love Nancy O, everyone should take her class before leaving BSU.

Took her for an online class and we only meet 4 times the semester. She is very funny and caring for the students she loves to crack jokes with everyone. Her grading is weird as she grades you based on other peoples writing. I was very nervous about this but i still got two A's on the 2 papers she makes sure to give you as much as she can! Take her

The hybrid course I took was a great opportunity for commuters to squeeze in an extra class. After meeting Nancy, I would have wished to be meeting with her weekly. There's a lot of writing, but it is a writing course. She is an easy grader and bases your overall grade with some credit towards "improvement." Great lady!

Very funny woman, but she gives A LOT of papers! Do not, really, do not let yourself slack or you will be attempting to write 8 papers in a weekend, which is not fun. Grades based off of other's essays, but gives great feedback that will help you write! A fun class I learned a lot from, that didn't interfere with my major classes at all
