Dr. Rizzo was the best! She is a really great teacher. She made the course completely understandable. I would definitely take her class again. She is also very helpful and will work with you. She makes it easy to grasp the concepts which make the test easy.

This professor talked about sex a LOT. but her jokes were funny. she kept the class alert with how she was teaching. and we basically had the full class when exams came around, which is always a good sign that she was good. I definitely recommend her for Psychology.

Professor Rizzo is quite "entertaining". Her class is very simple and she seems to be very knowledgeble about psychology. There's no way anyone could get less than an A. The bad part is that she is EXTREMELY unorganized. She was literally still grading work on the day of the final exam! I would still recommend her class though.

Dr. Rizzo is a clinical psyhochologist. At first she appears mean, but in actuality she is funny and very clear and concise. She uses alot of past experiences and ex patients to describe things like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and etc. She is very theatric. She makes alot of sexual innuendoes. And she gives you the birds and bees talk lol.

If you want to learn from someone who really knows what they're talking about than rizzo is the one! she is very open and likes to help you understand although she does not like being told that she is wrong. She likes to take personal experiences of herself and her students to help you understand theories. All the quizzes and tests are online!

I must say the work is very time consuming but easy you have to read and answer questions & it is a lot. You have about 3 quizzes each section & about 5 test & four discussion post. Didnt need the text book waste of money just buy the code. NOT FLEXIBLE if you have a busy schedule don't take her class has assignments due almost everyday.

The tests aren't the easiest, but the class time is good. I didn't have a single class, other than test days, in which I didn't smile or laugh. She's hilarious and explains the concepts in funny, imaginative, comprehensive, and useful ways. My advice though: Take good notes, don't skip class, and turn your phone off in class. Before taking this class I was undecided about my major but her class made me love psychology and now it's what I'm majoring in. You get a lot of extra credit points just for showing up to class. Her tests aren't easy but if you study you can easily pass. Only 4 tests and 1 paper. No homework. Lectures are funny, engaging & apply to every day life.

I took professor Rizzo for general psychology. Although she lectures each class she is very entertaining and the class goes by so fast. She gives a lot of pop quizzes, but they are easy and all multiple choice. Oh and she is hilarious !

Only this class you need to be there take good notes and boom youll pass. The notes are literally whats gonna be on the test and other then that your good youll pass it is a lot of work to study but its not crazy hard

Dr. Rizzo is one of the best professors I've experienced at Valencia. She is passionate and takes the time to discuss topics that may be confusing. She loves to talk about sex! The class consists of 4 exams (80%) and one project (20%). There are multiple opportunities for extra credit and to drop lowest test grade. Highly recommended!

I took her for a Summer A semester so it FLEW by, so the workload was heavy, but can't blame the professor. It wasn't difficult though. Extremely manageable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I took Dr. Rizzo for gen. psych summer '22 and dev. psych fall '22. She is an amazing professor! I needed both of these courses as pre reqs for nursing, and they both taught me so much! As long as you read the textbook and take good notes, you will get good grades. Make sure you study terms and the hw questions well! I am so glad I took her :)

I had Professor Rizzo for general psych 1 and I loved this class as someone who is majoring in Psychology. Majority of the work was only graded on completion and on multiple occasions she would reopen assignments for those who missed the deadline. Very funny and makes awkward topics interesting, quite possibly the best professor I have had so far.
