Very easy class. She gives away test questions when she talks about the readings or right before the test. I don't know how anyone can do bad in this lit class there isn't as many novels to read like many lit classes(only two). Great for a lit class. EASY

British lit with Taylor was awesome. SHE is sweet and a wonderful person and awesome teacher. Dont skip too many classes shes entertaning

If you are a Freshman or anyone else in need of an English requirement, TAKE THIS TEACHER. She is fair, easy, interesting, lenient and very helpful. She wrote me several letters of recommendation and I got an A in all of the 3 classes I took with her.

I had Taylor for 101 and I loved her class. I found it easy to engage in class discussions and improved my writting as well. Right amount of papers, no test, just final papers. Take this class!

she does'nt use the ten point grading scale like the rest of radford :( so i dont know what that is about, shes super sweet, 3 exams(non cumutive), final exam is 3rd exam, and reading responses to what you are assigned to read in class, its slack, take her

Amazing professor! she genuinely cares about her students. She is easy to understand and doesn't mind explaining things again. Take her if you can.

i just had her(fall '05) and she was the easiest professor i had the entire semester..none of the papers exceeded 3 or 4 pages and we barely did anything..we could only miss 6 days but with an excuse she let me slide..shes so nice and really cares about your opinions

LOVE HER! she was so nice and the class is not hard (as long as you go to class you really dont have to read the material to get an A in the class, just a hint).

Nice, nice woman, but the class is a total sham. Take her classes if you want easy credits. She's more concerned with you making sure your papers are the length she requested- not the content.

Taylor is so awesome. She is the nicest person i have ever met. she'll help you out as much as you need it. she never get's mad. just come to class and do the papers and you'll get a good grade.

Amazing teacher. She is so nice and friendly. Make sure you know MLA though, she's really into that, but other wise, really easy. Two 4 page research papers and a project on your major/career. easy stuff

Mrs. Taylor is a very sweet woman, and is extraordinarily helpful. My only complaint was that her class was far too easy, and the lectures were very gen-ed, without a lot of depth. However, that's what most people are looking for: an easy class, and this one IS.

She just reads your papers for content. I got 100s on papers with a few obvious errors. Extra credit for attendance at the end. Cancels class all the time. Tells the class all about her life. Class is boring. Bring laptop. There are like 2 quizzes and she gives you the answers. I didn't really learn much though.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Taylor. By far one of my favorite teachers here at Radford. So understanding, loves to help others, and makes you read in between the lines when it comes to discussing books and history. Dr. Taylor loves to teach students, loves to incite deeper questions with discussions. Take her, I guarantee you that you'll not regret it!!!

Very nice lady. Demonstrates a deep understanding for many writing styles and appreciates all of them. Very well structured class, loved the unit calendars. I am no fan of reading but I did not mind doing it for this class. Best english teacher I have had at Radford!

She is a wonderful teacher. Extremely helpful and very sincere. One of the nicest and most caring teachers here. Don't be afraid to go to her office with your papers ahead of time...it helps so much!

She is such a nice person and really appreciates poetry. She enjoys nature and is always such a peaceful person to be around. I enjoyed her class and I think she is one of the best teachers here at Radford. Deff recommend this teacher!

Easiest class ever. I read maybe half of the content - and certainly didn't read the assigned novel - and received an 'A' through general BS skill. Nice lady and cancels class as the drop of a hat.

A little boring but what core class isn't. Probably the most understanding professor you will have. All in all a really sweet lady and if you go to class you'll do fine.

Mrs. Taylor is arguably the nicest teacher i have EVER had. shes willing to help u with anything if u need any help. papers are sometimes lengthy and difficult but besides that its a great class. dont really need to read the book to get an A either.

She is the most helpful and nicest prof in Radford. If you keep up with your assignment you will be able to score A++. I'm being an student as english being my second language was able to get A++ on her class. I highly recommend her if you want to learn something and she is just a happy person. She is always smiling and acknowledging student. Fun

Professor Taylor is an excellent professor that truly cares about her students. She has to miss class sometimes and either opens discussions on D2L or assigns a papers, which are both very easy. She grades things very easily and gives wonderful feedback. I do not know how a student could receive less than an A in her class. Take her, she's easy.

Professor Taylor's class was amazing and I am so glad that I was able to take her. She was extremely nice and on the Research Paper we did she gave feedback and allowed us extra credit for using NetTutor. If you have to take an English teacher I recommend taking her and no one else!

She truly wants to see all students succeed in life and have great futures. The most understanding professor I've had while at school. Deadlines are flexible and she really makes you feel like you're on the same level. Read one text-- Book Thief. Very inspiring, circle discussions.

Professor Taylor seriously was one of the best professors I've ever had. The class wasn't easy in terms of coursework, but she made attending class an easy decision and was always willing to help with any questions that may come up.

Taylor was a generally good teacher: always willing to help, very forgiving, and clear in grading and assignments. She rambles a lot, but since it's her classroom, she can talk about whatever. Some of the assignments seemed frivolous and unnecessary, but other than that, I was able to learn a lot of material. I would recommend her.

She is very nice, sometimes overly nice and corny, but makes the class very easy and laid back. She tended to be very nit-picky when grading papers but it shouldn't be very hard to get an A.

Taylor is a fantastic prof and lets you have some independence. Attendance isn't required. You just have to do the assignments, and everything you need is on D2L. Assignments could be long but were simple and straight-forward. Taylor will give you all the help and honest feedback you need and doesn't pick favorites among students. 10/10 would rec

She was really nice, kind of a push over though. Her feedback on papers and assignments were really helpful and I skipped a lot of class and still got a good grade. I liked her class discussions and enjoyed her class because she was really chill.

An amazing teacher! I had her for honors 103. She was very sweet, and gave good feedback. She obviously cares a lot about her work and her students. She responds to emails quickly too! I would definitely recommend her, my only regret is not being able to take more classes from her!

Taylor was a good professor, and very respectable, but she used her adjunct students to be the ones with us in class. It was annoying because the adjunct was not confident in her teaching and couldn't get anyone to participate.

Such a sweet lady! Read and show up to class (occasional pop quizzes), but most of the time she does "group quizzes" where you write a paragraph with a few others and get a 100. Easy class overall. Mrs. Taylor is a little soft-spoken at times but other than that she's an awesome teacher who really cares about every one of her students.

Amazing. Prof. Taylor was so encouraging, she was passionate about what she taught and who she was teaching. She loved helping me in any way, like staying after class to help me with any assignment. Took time to go through material at a pace to learn, and highly encouraged conversation, discussion, and questions. I highly recommend.

Prof. Taylor is hands down one of the kindest professors I have ever had here at Radford. I would without a doubt take her class again if I could. Her class is discussion based and as long as you read you will be fine. She sometimes gives pop quizzes but not too difficult. Her assignments are straight forward too. This lady is a GEM!

I love her! Ms. Taylor is super caring! She makes each of her students feel welcomed and loved. Honestly, take her as much as you possibly can. As the semester goes on, you will start to feel upset and as if you are disappointing her if you do not read. She is that sweet! Be honest to her if you do not read, she appreciates honesty so much.

Ms. Taylor is one of the best professors at Radford University. She really cares for her students. Few grades. Quizzes are easy and the final is a take-home test. One presentation on an author's life. She encourages discussion. Easy and enjoyable class.

Prof Taylor is by far the best professor I have ever had at Radford. She actually cares for her students and is so kind. If you have to miss a class just email her and she tells you what you missed. There is minimal homework usually just slight reading and a few papers. She gives so much feedback and truly loves her job. Cant recommend enough!!

Professor Taylor is the best, she is very caring and understanding. If you miss a class she record all of them so you can watch them later. Also no Friday class she just assigns an easy assignment. She is a great professor and a great person!! Taking her class next year I do not need the class but I want to take it !!!

At the beginning of the semester I really disliked the class because it felt like a lot of work but as the semester went on I learned how manage my time with her class. It wasn't necessarily a class I enjoyed but I most definitely wouldn't mind having her again. She is super understanding and never has classes on Friday's which is very nice

Prof. Taylor really cares for students. Grades a tiny bit hard w/o justification but nothing to keep you from a great grade. Passionate and believes in her students. Async Fridays are great btw! She's very clear-cut, but also reasonable. She has expectations for you to meet, but they are very much realistic. Great beginning class for college.

Awesome Prof! This is my second class with her and would take many more. She does a great job of building a rapport with her students. She will hold your writing to a college standard but does not expect perfection. Always has a book to read and a heavy paper or so. Common busy work but does relate to classwork. I did zone out a lot but it's ok lol

She is the best professor I have had at Radford. She really cares about her students and the class is relatively easy as long as you read the articles she assigns. She never has class on Fridays but gives a simple assignment instead. She will work with you if you miss class and she records everything on zoom. She also lets you out 5-10 minutes.

Very nice older lady who enjoys teaching. I loved her for everything except some lectures where she would tell us to pair up and talk about a book which half the class didn't even read. Highly recommend.

She is literally the sweetest woman to walk the earth. So understanding, so kind, and makes her lectures interesting. She always gives good feedback and is willing to talk and give advice about anything when she has a moment. Class is easily attainable, occasional quizzes and she warns you that they will be given ahead of time. Absolutely love her!
