Professor Weliweriya is one of the best professors I have ever had. He cares about every student in his class and has a multitude of office hours where you can go to ask questions. Dr. W solely teaches from PowerPoints. This is a math heavy course and he tries to explain problems but its not the same as seeing one worked out in front of you. He repeats simple concepts and kinda breezes over the harder ones. Good teacher but makes it hard to concentrate because the slideshow is repetitive. Short tests but 3Q are 80% of grade.

Dr. Nandana is a very nice guy, don't get me wrong, but his teaching style did not work for me. The primary way you are expected to learn are by watching videos made by the TAs before class. Lectures were underwhelming and very short and TAs were more helpful. Labs were fine. The weighted structure of the class is good though.

He is nice but he doesn't teach very well. His TA's are amazing though. They give a lot of partial credit for the smallest amount of work on the tests. Not going to class won't really affect your grade. You can go into a test without going to his lectures but studying a lot outside of class. If you ask him questions separately he is very helpful.

This was one of the most stressful courses of my life. Dr. Nandana is a kind professor who lectures decently well, however there are some considerations. His test scales do not raise the grade more than 2%, he allows his TAs to teach too often, and he constantly rehashes similar material before exams. To his credit, it was a 250 person lecture.

Very nice guy who clearly cares about his students. Takes time to go over problems in class and is always willing to help if you have questions. Very fair grader as long as you put in the effort.

HE LIVES UP TO THE HYPE! I struggled hard with physics in high school, but the amount of resources on the organized eLC, the practice, and engaging lecturing in this class makes learning physics dare I say enjoyable with him. Labs were great and thoughtfully put together, and I'm so glad I picked this over regular physics. W Dr. W, 1000% must-take!

This professor's explanations can sometimes include mistakes, and responses to questions may become lengthy without a clear answer. Do NOT recommend!

Makes physics easy to understand. If you understand and do the homeworks and practice then the tests will be a breeze. Lectures are very helpful but sometimes he overexplains which can get confusing. Def take him tho

Really liked this guy, he is a super caring professor. His lectures weren't the best, as they could be hard to follow sometimes, and I struggled with the exams. However, overall, I would definitely recommend taking him.

Yeah, he is very good professor, highly recommended you guys to take him. The way he teaches really made physics seem much easier. The tests were like 5 multiple choice questions, and 2 long answer questions and honestly the problems are ones you have already seen before or are at least super similar.

Dr. W might just be one of the best professors at UGA. His lectures are very informative and easy to follow and he takes the time to thoroughly explain concepts and prepare his students for the tests and final exam. The most difficult part of this class was the labs but with the help of his PLAs you should be able to figure them out.

Dr. W was arguably the best professor I've had. The class isn't too difficult, if you come in with zero concept of physics, but he'll make sure that you understand everything and more. If you come to class, pay attention, and do the work that's required, you'll get the grade you want. The homework/labs/in-class work are way harder than any test.
