Hard class, but great instructor. You shouldn't have any problem passing the class if you read the book. He definitely makes the lesson easy to learn.

Even though I did good in his class, it does not mean that his class is easy. You have to read the whole book because his questions directly come from the book no matter if he covered it or not.

He knows the subject very well and makes the class very interesting. Need to read the book before each class. Tests and quizzes comes from book. Try not to miss his classes. I recommend taking his class.

This class is not easy, but it can be if u put ur heart into it. If u go 4 a challenge, and less spoon feeding, this class is 4u. Mr B is not a typical prof. His tests r hard if u don't stick to the book,& its a pain, but glad to note: his tests will make u study more, though it did not quite work for me.But he gives alot of chances 4u to keep up.

I always looked forward to his class, very interesting and fun. Not easy though, tests directly from the text but is very clear about what to study. He's an MD and a lawyer (medical malpractice) and really knows his stuff. Liked him a lot, got an A.

Mr. Biggety. I took him 2006 Spring. Dope a$$ teacher. Got an A in his class. Hardest class I've ever taken yet. Read the book from cover to cover about 5 to 6 times. I loved it.

This teacher knows the subject very well and keeps you accountible for the materials that he wants you to know. All you need to do is to read the book and I did. We had 4 hour exams. My lowest score was 102. You might say how. If you don't believe me, ask him. Take his class he is fun and his class is interesting. I give him a 100 for his class.

Physiology is hard core stuff; but Mr B knows how to break things down to make it interesting and understandable. He is funny, super smart and compassionate. I totally love him and yes there are announced pop quizzes he calls them Mr Q.

I have been doing this school thing for many many years now, and Mr. B has got to be one of the best teachers I've had. Physiology is not an easy subject by any means and it requires a lot of work. Read the book completely word by word during the whole semester. Tests are all from book but you have to study word by word and be master. Tests include Multiple choices,Fillings,Matchings & Essay Qs so no escape...He is funny and his class is very interesting. Fair in grading but sometimes unfair in judging people. I Enjoy his class very much.

I just took his class in Fall 09 and got a B. The best class I ever had. I dont know why people write nasty things about him (I guess this website is the only place a loser student can get back at his or her teacher). Mr. B is great, absolutely great. The best teacher I ever had in my life. I totally recommend him, no questions.

One more thing! He would never say "because if u read it, u won't be asking the question." If he doesnot know the answer, he goes and researches the stuff.

Mr. B is the best! He is a really organized professor. I took detailed notes on all 20 chapters of the book and spent a lot of hours studying for this class. At the end it was all worth it b/c I got an A. This class is difficult but he makes is easier to understand and makes the class very fun! Mr. B I love your jokes and interesting stories!!!

Mr B is by far THE BEST TEACHER I've ever had. Listen to his lecture and read the book and you'll be fine. This class is overall a hard class but his lectures are very helpful. I got an F on my 1st exam (bwcause of my own fault) and got a B in the class. Absolutely recommend him!

It was very tough class, but his manner of teaching and his humor made us to fell our ?sufferings? lightened.Very smart person with good personality.In one word-perfect professor.

He is a just, passionate, caring, and very helpful professor. The quizzes are helpful to test your knowledge, but will not ruin your grade. The tests are fair.

He's a great professor! Very humble and funny lawyer side of him. I really learned in this class and studied hard. I really liked his strict no cheating and fair policy. Because some students are shameless idiots and have no morals. Besides that, his class was fun, helpful and worthwhile. Study hard and don't take advantage of his generosity.

I love Mr.B he's very clear and easy to understand. His jokes lighten up the mood and make learning the subject less tense. You can tell how passionate he is about the sybject and it makes u more intrested. Btw he's fun to look at. Definatly take the class!

Mr. B is such a great teacher. I highly reccomend him because he is one of the only teachers at GCC that honeslty knows what he's talking about. He helped me with my problems and in the end, I got an A. You will have to put in your own effort but his class is the best! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

The subject is SUPER DIFFICULT but he is SUPER AWESOME. He tells you that you have to read the book and he cannot help you, but his lectures are helpful. He's smart, knowledgeable, funny, but more importantly, unlike many other teachers, he truly cares about his students. Take him. You will be misearble for one semester, but you will learn a lot.

Mr. B is a cool cat, the only night bio class where I stay awake, not monotoned, very energetic, makes great examples and relates life stories to the subject which makes it easy to understand, currently taking him, must read the book, it's a hard class not a hard teacher, so all of you that talk bad are just lazy.

It's hard to tell if he's easy or hard YET, other than the quizzes he gave. But so far he is incredibly entertaining, helpful, and just all around cool professor. He actually ENCOURAGES questions. I never feel uncomfortable asking questions which is becoming a rarity at GCC with lazy part-timers. Mr. B creates an atmosphere of learning. Refreshing!

textbook use is required. He's very clear and teaches you in a way that the info sticks in your memory. I personally loves mr B's class. By the way he has a sharp humor too. good luck

Great Professor!The textbook is basically your bible. A lot of his lectures came in handy during the test. Make sure you read the textbook regularly and attend class! Multiple choice is a bit tricky. Written-straight forward & simple. He says tests get harder throughout the semester, but in my opinion they became easier because you learn his method

Mr. B is the best professor I ever took at gcc! The exams are straight from the book, the sections that are hard to understand, he explains it in lecture using real life examples that you will never forget or make a chart for you to understand better. I learned so much in this class! thank you mr. B for changing my negative view of physiology!

I loved Mr. B's class. He made us study hard but he also broke this complex physiology concepts down for us, which was easier to understand. I took his class a year ago and still remember some of his lectures. I got an A, but had to study my butt off for it.

Let me start by saying that physiology is not an easy subject. It requires plenty of studying & dedication. With that said, you will NOT regret taking Mr. B. With his sharp sense of humor, intelligence, & amazing ability to dissect and make more clear such an intense subject, Mr. B is an overall great professor. Be sure to READ THE BOOK and study!

I am so glad i took physio with Mr. B because he made us work hard throughout the semester. And we learned so much. It's a challenging class but he makes it very understandable and fun. Great teacher! This class requires AT LEAST 8 HOURS OF STUDYING PER WEEK not including class time. It's not the teacher, it's the course. I got A's on all the tests but I studied 8-12 hrs a week. TIP: Watch youtube videos like "Crash course Anatomy and Physiology" and other videos on youtube if you are having trouble understanding concepts.

Mr. B is very friendly and great person. His test is not that hard if you READ TEXTBOOK. If you don't like reading book, I don't recommend this class. However, I like his grading. He gives us points if he think you know the stuff. Also, it is possible to get an A if you do not give up.

A lot of reading and not much lecture. MC and short answers on exams. He gives you the tools necessary to pass his exams- study guides! Mr. B is a wonderful professor and he truly cares about his students succeeding. He makes class fun. I really loved going into his class. This is a college level class, so expect a lot of time studying (a lot!)

He was the best professor I've ever had after 4 years of college. Mr. B is an MD, and a lawyer! You will LITERALLY read the book front to back, twice! Quizzes given start of class before each lecture, study guides for each tests (tells you exactly what is going to be on it), final study guide had book's page numbers to study from. Best class ever

The class itself will be difficult not matter what instructor you take. Mr. B is a very funny guy, he's very accessible if you make the effort, I mean this is college right? no one is going to beg you to attend class or study, you get what you put. One thing I'd suggest anyone before taking him would be to BUY&READ THE BOOK. Take him, he's great.

I took him last semester. One of the HARDEST classes in my life and one of the BEST teachers in my life. By the way, two comments below, just look at the writing: "and you will understand what I've mean." That says it all about that student! Mr. B is caring, kind and will do anything for you to succeed, but you have to do the hard work.

Mr. B will tell you exactly what he wants and it will be up to you to study and work hard to get a good grade. ALL the answers come from the book, so you will be reading a lot. Mr. B is an awesome teacher. The content is difficult no matter who you take, but Mr. B will help you in any way he can and he makes class fun. He explains things in a way where you can relate to it, so its easier to understand. Plus he has lots of experience and knows his stuff. Everything is based on the book, so you get what you put in.

Mr. Baghdasarian is one the best professors I have ever had, highly educated and experienced. Bio 121 is a hard course so it does take a lot of effort,but he made the concepts as simple as they could be for better understanding with clear examples. Plus he has a very nice personality. I would definitely recommend his class.

Best prof ever. Really cares for the students and always motivates us. Great lectures, but you HAVE to read the book and CANNOT procrastinate the readings/studying. Quizzes test reading knowledge ahead of time, but are only 10% of grade. Lowest quiz scoresDropped. Tests are straightforward and he hints at the important things. Final was easy.

The coolest guy ever! He will explain all the important things and you have to read the book for the details. The tests are ok. Overall, he wont stress you out and make a big deal of his class. Unlike many other instructors Mr. B is physiologically stable.

He is quite humorous, highly knowledgeable: a former physician, now a medical lawyer. I scored 92% on the TEAS Science: test content reminded me of what professor Bagdasarian taught us quite a bit. His tests are moderately difficult: take notes, read the textbook, watch YouTube videos. This is not a kindergarten; study hard and you will get an A!

The best professor for physiology at GCC. Everyone else complaining just didnt want to put in the work. He literally gives study guides for each test that say what every question will be about! His knowledge in the medical field is amazing, and he gives great life tips.

Mr. B is the best. When I took him, he was very clear that he is not a teacher. Granted, if you want a guy who will encourage you throughout the rough course of this class, this will be your guy. He is super funny, phenomenal and tries to make your life that much easier with his sheets and study guides. The secret to doing well is not giving up.

This class was not the easiest especially if you're taking it during Summer & online. I wasn't sure I was going to keep up with the class but Mr. B was very encouraging and he really works with you. You really have to read the book & pay attention to his lectures. By far my favorite professor at GCC!

He is the best prof. Ever. Overall, this is a heavy course, needs a lot of focus and reading. Mr. B makes it easier for you, he mentions the important parts of the book and just asks questions from those. He isn't a tough grader and even helps you if he sees improvement in you. Mr. B is a great person. He's a fair grader and wants you to do well. However, he does not provide any source of study material. The textbook will be your best friend for the entire semester. You need to study hard by reading the textbook to do good in the class. Everything is based on the textbook.

Mr. B is a great teacher, but emphasizes that his role is not “lecturer” and expects you to READ. Mr B is happy to answer questions and makes himself available to all students and their particular life circumstances. If you show up and clearly show that you put in the time needed for this subject, he roots for your success. Great class overall.

Physio is already a hard subject so if you think you will pass this class without putting in the work-- think again! Yes, you actually have to read for this class but once you put it the work, its not hard at all! Mr B gives great examples that can help you understand the material. Professor B was the first professor whose class I truly enjoyed in my entire life. He's knowledgeable, respectful, and teaches with real passion exactly how a great professor should be. I learned a lot, not just about the subject, but about how learning can actually be enjoyable. His not hard on grading and helps you if see your progressing.
