I had him for ESP MAT 1990 workshop. He grades VERY fairly, and he is always willing to help. He explains difficult and confusing concepts by giving simpler examples, which is very useful! Best workshop instructor. You won't regret taking his class!

Was A GREAT MAT 1050 Prof.Resh was a great teacher I had. He helped out the students. I love his interaction with fellow students. "ALRIGHT MY LITTLE BUTTERCUPS" was his fav.thing to say. Couldn't think of a better professor to take this with. He's very young and in your face, but in a way that pushes you to do your best. In my opinion workshop was a waste of time, and I hated it. The amount of time and homework cannot be stressed enough, so keep that in mind. Resh is a great guy and pushes you for your best, so get ready.

I have just finished my fall 2014 Semester at WSU and I am so grateful I decided to take this class with this professor. Don't let the foreign name fool you. He is tough with the class but he definitely motivated me to keep moving forward and i can honestly say that I would take the class again. I wish he could teach all my other math classes. Had him for MAT1050 workshop. Basically, he assigns the class groups and passes a worksheet to work on. 30 minutes into class and it turned to a social hangout space than a working space. If you needed help you must ask your group and then other groups before consulting him. Understanding person, pointless class.

Resh is the type of teacher I wish could teach me everything for my college career. Very intelligent and extremely helpful. There isn't anybody that couldn't like this man. He's a true hustler. Easy A if you stay ontop of everything.

If you have questions he will answer them. He is a really caring guy and he isn't one of those teachers that don't care about there students. He is funny and speaks english.

Best Math teacher ever. I took Calculus once before and didn't do so well. He takes the time so that everyone understands and if he has to he'll back track a little to MAT1800 to make sure you completely understand what's going on and why. HE'S AWESOME AND THE BEST. I ended the class with an A.

He goes on tangets a lot which eats into class time. Pay attention at the very end of class, he tends to cram all the new stuff into the last 10mins. Beginning of class is review of the stuff from last class. Homework isnt mandatory with him unless you are doing poorly in the class. Reviews provided for everything.

There is a good amount of homework, but all of it helps you with the weekly quizzes(about 3 questions). Pay attention and come to class, lecture matters.

Resh is my fave! His class prepares you for the real world. He doesn't just teach you statistics he makes you apply it to understand it. Considering a career in biostatistics because of him. the switch to online was a lil messy/confusing, but that was mostly my fault. He's such a great and personable guy. You dont know how much you took him for granted until youre done with the class and realize how great he was. Yes, he does actually MAKE YOU learn and WORK for it (heavy workload), but honestly it was such a nice class now that I look back. Worth your tuition money and fun at the same time. You WILL learn.

Out of my 100 credits of classes, Resh is one of the best professors I've ever had. Lots of homework, but he makes students look forward to his class and lecture. Gives you all the materials you need and then some, but it's up to you to pass the class. Easy to fall behind and he is not accessible outside of class, but overall a really great teacher

This class is like taking a red bull to the head, lectures are fast, so get out ur phones and take pictures when he's showing examples. Make sure to do the problems he gives in class, he wont collect/ grade them, but get it wrong now or on the test. Favorite word is "savage" and he does scream occasionally. He also gives life lessons.

Resh is quite possibly the most interesting and enjoyable professor you could ever take at Wayne State. He is relatable, understanding, and funny. He knows how to teach and teach well, gives good explanations, and is really down to Earth when it comes to the class. It was like a fun discussion while also getting work done.

Dr. Resh makes classes entertaining and explains concepts very well. I was rarely lost in his class. I took the ESP (emerging scholars program) honors version of the class; if you need honors credits, I recommend ESP MAT2020 with Resh. Note: don't take ESP if you have trouble being on time; those who arrive after class starts aren't allowed in.

I took this class with him over the summer and he was great! My favorite teacher at Wayne. We had weekly quizzes and tests, but also homework to boost up the grade. He was very chill and funny, and made class a lot more interesting. You do have to pay attention and put in the work, but he is there to make sure everyone succeeds!

This professor by far made calc easy and fun to learn. I would 100% take this prof again, I recommend him! If you have an option to take it with him do it, you will be happy you did.

This class was really good and Resh made it a fun learning environment. Your grade is mostly made up of quizzes, tests, and the final, so make sure you do well on those.

Seriously such an amazing professor I could not recommend him enough! It's sad that I won't be able to take him again because I would 100 times over! He's so understanding with his grading and he's not super harsh and gives a lot of partial credit if you clearly demonstrate you know how to do the work. Keep up with the lessons and you will do great

Honestly the best professor I've had, he always brought the a certain energy to class that genuine made it hard not to engage and ask questions and just talk. One of, if not the best professor I've taken! His teaching strategy is impeccable and based on understanding and repetition. Even though there were many weekly assignments and quizzes, they helped retain information reducing Exam study time to an average of 4 Hours. His love for math and teaching is clearly shown in classes. Great professor!

Absolutely the best math prof I've had at WSU so far! Definitely take him, he speaks English perfectly so don't be scared. Gives great feedback and lenient grader. He teaches initially through his YT videos then overviews topics in class. I had 6.30pm class and Im grateful he taught it because his enthusiasm kept us from falling asleep lol.
