im taking her for an online class n she's hard man!! i work so hard and keep on gettin C's on the damn tests. n im not a slacker at all. wtf. she's not flexible at all. no extra credit. if u mess up on one assignm u'r screwed.seem like ppl r saying she's interesting but if u want an A == dont take HER. it'll ruin ur gpa. all u do is read on ur own.

I took her class online and it was the hardest class i have taken in college. Her tests were absolutely ridiculous. I read the textbook and studied for hours and still would get D's on the tests. I emailed her for more clarification on a paper because she didnt give the word count length and she watited 3 days to email me back then didnt even help!

I wish I had read the reviews about Professor Rabii before I signed up. The reviews are ACCURATE! You?ll go down faster than the Titanic in one of her classes. She has unrealistic expectations and purposely creates an unpassable test for some sadistic reason. You?ve been warned about the iceberg, Captain Smith. The rest is up to you!

This teacher is by far the hardest I've ever taken! If you love history, have the time to devote 3 ? 5 hours PER DAY, can take a notebook of notes and have a photographic memory, you'll do okay. WORST WORST WORST TEACHER EVER! Doesnt suprise me all the poor ratings she has. Its her way or the highway. Never raise your hand unless you want to get imberrased and yelled at, esp if you have a dif point of view. She said on the first day that she gets paid the same weather we pass or fail and that sure is how she teaches.

She is more aggressive than any man I know and the most oppionionated person I have ever met. She doesnt teach history at all, she teaches her oppinion and if you disagree, RUN! She is an extremely disorganized professor. She doesn't grade things. She forgets to put assignments online. She is not helpful at all. we had a 6+ page paper due and she didn't answer any questions until after the paper was due. if you are thinking of taking her class, DON'T. you will be better off.

Completely unorganized. DONT TAKE HER. Her class mainly consists of a 2000 word research paper on a museum of your choice, each discussion board is 300-500 word minimum. A 500 word analytical response to an article and 3 tests.

As most other students have said, she is the WORST teacher I have ever taken, and I've had to take her twice now. She never ever grades anything until the last minute, way after the drop date, she answers questions on assignments after they are due and even then it's usually "see syllabus". Just DO NOT take her, take Howell instead.

Horrible "teacher." She is rediculous, insane amounts of papers are written for this class. She cannot teach herself out of a paper bag. She fails more then 75% of her students. If there is a mention of a woman in the book you better know her name, birth date and favorite colour, even if all they did was bake Lincoln a Pie. NEVER take her!

Terrible. She is very rude to her students. She does not follow her "I will answer your questions/assignments in 48 hours" policy. She takes closer to a month. She answers questions very shortly without much actual help (if she answers them at all). She expects a lot from her students, but puts literally no effect forward. Again, terrible.

One of the worst professors I have ever dealt with. Her Syllabus is confusing and she often contradicts herself on various documents and information on blackboard. If you ask her for some clarity she ends up responding with an answer that confuses you even more. I will end up with a B in this class and I truly busted my butt to get that B.

I had such a horrible experience with this course! The professor announced that there was an extra credit opportunity; and when I did it and turned it in, she told me that she made a mistake and that extra credit was not being allowed over the summer course. Her tests are ridiculous. Do not take!!!

It's an ok class. I took her online course and it was so hard! It's so much writing and the tests are pretty hard but it's doable

Poorly worded questions

This professor was the hardest I've ever had. She grades ridiculously hard and will continuously tell you that you "need to develop more." She never specified what I needed to develop and when I'd email with questions, she would never respond. Her writing assignments are extremely difficult. She should not be a professor anywhere.

This professor is ridiculous. I emailed her twice for clarification on due dates, and never got a response, although she was able to mass email the class. She adds more work than stated, and gives min word counts for each assign. only to change her mind and tell you to write more after the fact. So unclear, and never responds, don't take her!

Only 350 characters, so I'll talk about my grade to show u how terrible this Prof. is. 4 Exams: 4 A's. Research Paper: A (92%). Quizes/All Other work: A (100 percent on all of them). Course grade you ask? I got a "B" (2 points away from an A). How? b/c she said my "participation wasn't as good as it could be". Still wanna take her? didnt think so

This is the perfect example of the anger much of the public has for government employees. This woman does not belong in her current position. She is an ATROCIOUS instructor. Tough grader! I'm beside myself as most of the questions she ask are subjective however she finds a way to shoot them down. If you're not into African studies do not take this course. Clearly, she advocates anyone who takes her course to know every aspect of African slave trade history. That's really what the title of the course should be.

So awful. Pointless and tedious assignments that don't pertain to course objectives or the text. Not helpful in answering questions and lacks clarity/fairness on due dates, expectations, grading, exams, etc. She seems condescending and is not encouraging. Online class taken. Being a very dedicated Student, in all of my classes this is the only B I received, by 2 points! 2 papers to be written, both have more instructions than the length of the assignment, and the tutor center/librarians were extremely confused by the instructions for the major paper. Overall I would not take this teacher again.

This teacher is to strict on grading. She marks my paper 0/10 for "copyrighting" even though I did not do that. This is more of an english class to her. She doesn't let you go back and review your answer on quiz's/tests. Her directions about how to do an essay is very unorganized and to much in the "english class" essay category. Awful teaacher

Directions for assignments were very unclear so no one knew if they were doing anything right. Lectures were confusing and poorly structured. Exams were very difficult. A very stressful class. Don't take her.

My main gripe with this professor is that all of her instructions are condescending. Seems as if she just loves to have the reputation of being a tough grader. Also, I found the essay prompt to be redundant. "pick a primary source within the time frame, but don't pick the major ones, or important ones, but still have to be relevant..."

My biggest issue with the professor was that she was not an active participant in the semester, therefore an awful source for us in terms of actually learning the material. Grades were never updated, and her feedback was limited too only a few negative words. Would NEVER take again.

We all know those teachers that will do anything to prove they are inherently superior in intellect, so they give you harsh instructions and no viable feedback to essentially improve as a student. Avoid her at all costs.

Was doing alright until the short paper assignment in the class. Pages upon pages of utterly vague questions and guidelines that tell you exactly what not to do, but never clue you in for a second on what to do. She grades religiously and will give you a zero based on something you didn't notice. Also, she's not very understanding to students.

DO NOT TAKE THIS ONLINE. No lectures, grade is based off of 4 quizzes, 4 tests, a few discussion boards, and 2 writing assignments. The syllabus does not include when discussion boards will be due. Due to the lack of lectures and any guide on what to study, there is no way to know what is on the test. Paper has no guidelines only what not to do.

Sounds harsh but her online 120 class was by far the WORST class. I read her reviews thinking it could not be that bad. What got to me the most was how unorganized the canvas set up was. It was difficult to even see what and when things were due. I dropped it the first week and disappointed I couldn't get refunded, but the loss saved me headaches.

I had a horrible experience with this teacher. I Had her online for spring intercession and her material is very difficult to understand, she is a tough grader and unorganized. I highly recommend not taking this teacher. I had yet to experience a bad teacher let alone a bad online class at SCC until now.

Not helpful and gives short responses when you try to reach out and ask for help! You basically teach yourself the whole semester and she chooses to do zoom calls on Sundays nights around 7 which is sometimes impossible to manage. Her papers are outrageous and very difficult and if you struggle good luck asking for help.

The class consists of two big papers that she chooses to define very loose and wants you to Zoom call to figure out. Sent a message and its been two week and she still hasn't responded to me either. Trash.

Professor Rabii's online course was the most unorganized and confusing course I've ever taken in college. She's really hardcore for no reason, and is usually rude about it. It was so difficult to navigate her class and stay on track with the ridiculous assignments she had. I didn't learn anything in her class and would not recommend AT ALL!

This professer thinks she is instructing a masters level class. I have taken many classes, with many professors and she is by far the worst. College should not be easy, but it also should not be absolutly insane. Mabye some of the teachers should rember when they were in school. If you c an avoid it, skip this professor at all costs.

do NOT take this HISTORY class unless you are good at writing and philosophy, because we have learned more about that than the actual history we should be learning. there are no powerpoints you just have to read from the excessively long textbook. 2 out of the 4 discussion boards were based on philosophy and not history. LOTS OF WRITING. due at 9pm

Take any other professor for History. I'm a history major. I took this professor Hist 118 in Spring of 2022. I know History classes require reading and writing and papers etc. This professor expected grad level work at the community college level. Tests were impossible to finish in time. Reading material was dense. She doesn't care if you do well.

This professor is absolutely horrible. Only take selections taught by Narges if it is the only class you're taking that semester. She expects you to complete a 1000 word essay question with very little actual instruction from her at the end of the first week! Should be fired or reviewed

Don't take this professor. Her class is one of the most confusing courses I've ever taken because of how disorganized her Canvas page is. Doesn't adhere to her reply in 48 hours policy. FIRST EXAM (2 hrs) consists of 10 MC questions, short answer (300-400) words, & an essay (800-1000) words. Too excessive & harder than it needs to be for a GE.

They did not explain anything, there were many errors on their part about posting assignments and after about a week of the class we were expected to take an exam that was timed which there is an essay portion. I had no clue what it was about because I was not taught anything. There is very little direction and was very difficult due to confussion.

She barely gave us any instruction all semester and then would give feedback saying we did the assignment was done wrong. We were basically given the textbook and then told to figure it out.

She grades everything very harshly, to much work and harshness for a GE I got better grades in my major classes than this class, tests are heavily weighted, 66% of the class dropped within the first week of the class, her canvas page is disorganized. This class was my first B

There are so many assignments and the canvas is so disorganized that you can't tell what's due and when.The class has been going for less than a week and the first exam was posted and due the same day at 9pm. (Exam is 2 hours and included an essay and short answers). Essentially, it was an entire AP test for a GE course. I do NOT recommend AT ALL.

First time having this professor for history. Right off the bat, very disorganized and not clear on instructions whats so ever. Multiple students were just as confused as I was when it came to the first assignment assigned this semester. An exam was posted just one week after school started, and now a paper. Would not recommend.

If you want to take a 8-week class! I will not recommend this woman!!! Too many works and no lecture! Students must spend time reading a long textbook and outline it! I struggled with the class and was depressive! Anyway, she is easy in grading assignments. Avoid her class if you are not ready to work all the day for it

I took this course during intercession. History isn't a difficult subject but this Professor made assignments complicated and confusing. Assignments were due at 9pm. I wouldn't recommend if you have a job! Be aware you will have to write especially for exams.

From the very start, majority of the class was left confused and lost. Some assignments say one thing while she says another. The outlines take hours to even finish let alone comprehend the readings, very unforgiving with grading. The highest grade on the first exam was a C. Her class and her standards are difficult!

She constantly brags about how much she knows (lacks humility). Does not respond to emails. Feedback on assignments is generic and unhelpful like "Needs more detail" but won't tell you where or how or even elaborate when asked over email. Take the course at a different college or different prof or take it next semester.
