Excellent teacher! One of the best CNM has to offer. I am a single mother and could not afford babysitter. He offered me to bring my infant child to the class room! He is a very nice guy, but he works you to your bone and as he said we all earn our grade. I earned my A.

Mr Arfai is very good teacher. I sure learned alot from him and i like the fact he treat his students as an adult. he keeps his lecture very interesting. and i agree that "he works you to your bone. as he said we all earn our grade". I earned my A.

This class is very difficult but monie?s lectures are very comprehensive and detail. Few Tests and extra credits (plenty of ways to get that A grade) are not that difficult. I had hard time understand him at first but he gives good examples and explains very clearly.

Dr. Arfai is an excellent teacher. overall, it is an easy class and even easier A.

I loved his class. It was an eye opener and i agree psych 101 is not easy class.

monie is a very good teacher and he is very much prepared. he has all the lectures ready and posted for you so you do not even need to take the note. this class is not easy but he gives out many extra credits.

life is tough and so, as monie! If you are not a series student do not take his class. I had two friend who dropped him, but i did not and i am glad that i did not. he is very serious (a bit much if you ask me)and a very good teacher.

Despite all the negative comments on here about him, he REALLY is a great teacher. He went out of his way to study one on one with me, and gives you tons of chances to make up points. His accents is a bit tough at first to understand, but after the first week you will be used to it. He is also hilarious!

I love the way he teaches his classes. I have taken three classes with him and I have used what I am learning from him almost everyday. This is a tough lass and monie is a tough instructor, but EXCELLENTE! the best of the CNM bests.

Monie has taught me much not just the academics but life in general. He is a wonderful teacher and outstanding human being. Hope he knows the impact he has on other's lives. :)

Monie is a great guy, he is knowledgeable and extremely honest. The best part is doe not put up with any crap from the students. I recommend this class if you want to actually learn somethng useful and have good time, he will make you work though.

great professor! Be prepared to work but you WILL learn and retain information in his class. Not for the weak.

Second class with Monie and i loved it. this guy has completely changed the way that I think. I have read the negative comments and I don't see how anyone can think like that unless they got in trouble. The tests are crazy hard, and you may get a bad grade on them but you have plenty of extra credit to get a good grade. The best teacher at CNM.

Do not take if you just want to breeze through psychology. His tests are hard and you will only get an A if you study twice as hard. Take advantage of the weekly study group. Accent takes some getting used to. If you are going into the Psych field, Monie is the guy to take.

Monie was actually interested & concerned with whether we were learning. This course gave me insight to many areas of life, from decision making, studying, understanding my emotions. His class is a life changing experience for everyone. Monie is brilliant in his presentation, experience& very respectful, down to earth and generous with his time.

My only regret is that I should have taken this course many years ago. Dr. Arfai made a positive impression on the course of my life. I'm coming away with a wealth of information that I actually can apply to my life. I only have great respect for monie. He is a great teacher, very honest and humble person.

Monie is a very top notch professor he goes out of his way to help students & make sure they understand the material. I got A's in the 2 very difficult classes I took with him & learned & retained concepts that seemed almost impossible. Its overwhelming at first but reading &studying will get you through. the tests are hard but xtracredit helps

Monie is a good instructor, it is difficult to understand him at first but you get used to it. He has a study group to help students get an A in his class. He gives good examples about the material. You have to put effort into studying in order to get an A. Also he gives extra credit for creating flashcards with definitions from the textbook

This class is very hard. Make sure to start studying before the semester starts. The power points are helpful, by reading the book and taking the time to understand it is essential. Read read read. Make flash cards for every chapter and get the study guide.

Awesome professor just make sure you do your work and show up to class or you will regret it. Tests are all based on the reading and lecture. Super easy if you do your work, if you don't you'll regret it!

Great Professor!

Doc A has genuine concern in his students. His lectures have good aplication to the material you will go over on the test. When he says “know this” learn it! Be punctual, and take advantage of the study group and flashcards. You will learn a lot of real world application in his class. Great teacher!

Great professor. He is actively involved with the material and his students. He comes off as hard because he expects you to learn, be punctual, and show up to class as a professor should. There needs to be more instructors with his passion for the material and overall care for their students.

Dr.A changed my life. He is a very great teacher.

Hard class and lots of work. Each week there was a quiz and very interesting discussion. We had four tests. DR.A has done a tremendous job on his PPT presentations. lot of work but i got A. At the end of it all, you feel really good that the grade you end up with is one that you really earned.

This class will make life easier and you will really enjoy it! Dr. A can come off a little mean, but if you study, read, and pay attention during lectures you will succeed and he will help you as much as possible. Don't EVER be late! Many extra credit oppurtunities! They will make or break your grade! Do all of them!

Monie is a hard nose & made me nervous when he says this class or he is not easy, but he isn't lying. That's bad stuff & good stuff is that he worked w/me & I learned so much. Dr.A is a great teacher. very orgonized and very clear. i am taking another class with him. Extra credits are must and do not late and go to the his friday's groups study, if you need more help.

this class is challenging but Dr.A. gives you good lectures with video. Those videos helped me very much.

This course is very organized. I feel like I am back in army though. He has good lecture but tests are very very hard. Discussions are awesome too but I really really like all the videos in his lecturers.

this class is easy class and good teacher. this is second time i am taking this class and the lectures for the same class by dr.a is ten times better. i met him twice and he has tutoring session every monday for students like me who need more help

He seems harsh and unclear at first. But if you go to EVERY class and do the work he asks of you, you can do very well in his class. He has a study group once a week which I heard can help but I didn't need it. Tests can be tricky, but if you studied from HIS power points, you will get the wording he wants. Lots of extra credit opportunities too.

Good online instructor

Very hard also wish I took him in classroom. have to write a lot every week in discussion and also have to read a lot of other students! weekly quizzes? it is big tests with lots of questions. lectures are very good and full of videos, but also lots of information and very long for a week. good teacher. do extra credits.

lots of hard work but easy A. all discussions and quizzes are extra credits and that made it easy. She is also fast with email reply too.

I loved his lectures, very educated and he is EXTREMELY PREPARED! I think he is x military and No time to lose. He gave us take home test but there were very very difficult. you won't pass if you do not know it. he helped me when I asked so do the study groups. that helped a lot. I'll take this class again.

This was easy class and lots of extra credits. Easy A if you do the work weekly. Do not buy the text and just do all the lectures. They were fun and test came right from them.

this isn't a tough class and not easy also. Dr.A. emails you back right away and give lots of time for discussions and good feedbacks. All and all, I liked it very much and for online class, i learn a lot.

Loved Dr.A's online class. this is second time i am doing it and whata different. She makes a ride out of it. Awsome

lectures are cool and Dr.A. gives good feedback on discussion. Lots of extra credits makes getting A easy if you do the assignments weekly.

I loved Dr.A. class too and impossible to get anything but A in this class. He gave us TONS of extra credits. It is overwhelming and I couldnt do them all. But I didnt have too. Tests are difficult and straight from lectures.

I liked this class .it was so so easy and Dr. A. is verygood.

I took his class for psychological 101 and felt like Alice in wonderland. sometimes lost and most of the time fascinated. he is bit too strict but I'll take another course with Doc.A. he is very good. It helped a lot when I went to his group sessions.

Interesting class and you will learn a lot but his expectations are high and he wants things specific, no room for negotiation with him. Worth taking his class if you are up for it.

this was online. he replies your email in minutes with some good feedbacks. i learned a lot from his powerpoint lectures/videos helped me with tests. No text. tests are from lectures and he gives you whole week time so it works for me being on the go all the time. his deadlines are strict but it is worth taking him for next class.
