She does have a problem with her English, but she is a fair and excellent teacher. If you ask her for help, she will go out of her way for you.

She is amazing. Her English is not an issue whatsoever. She takes time to get to know her students and is willing to be lenient as long as they aren't trying to scam her. The tests were relivant as she is more concerned with the student know the processes instead of rigid pass/fail answers. I would take het again in a heart beat.

I had Prof. Barry last semester and she was great...she gave us about 3 projects that were easy and fun and she made everyone in the class interact with each other which was really cool. I really liked her teaching. Her English is fine, she has a bit of an accent but it's understandable. I would definitely take her again.

Professor Barry was mad chill. She very fair and easy to get along with. Be sure to take notes. She allows you to use your notes the last few mins of the test or quiz. I started off failing the 1st test, but I ended up with an A in the class and didnt have to take the final. I'd reccomend her to anybody who wants to learn.

Her class is very easy and she makes it very interesting. She let us take tests in pairs and use notes at times. The tests aren't really tricky you just have to read the questions carefully. She is understanding and so sweet but don't take advantage of her kindness or she won't be so cool (which is probably why some reviews are bad).

Read the assigned chapter a class before she goes into discussion, and even if she doesn't say anything about have a test/quiz, I would study ahead of time bc she likes giving pop-quizzes and the day of the exam you'll have a lot of content to review.

A great teacher, very organized and the people placing low ratings, are just the fools who didn't read the chapters, and got C'S. Read the chapter, come prepared, tests are hard. Got an A in her course, would suggest people take her course if they are dedicated students, this is not for flaky, not hard working students. Just go prepared, read!

Professor Barry changed my life. Because of her, I transferred from MDC to a top 50 school. She is the best professor that I've had at MDC. I changed my major and my life path after taking only her Intro to Psych class. Take her, work hard, and appreciate having a teacher who cares about you. It doesn't happen often at MDC.

This virtual class is simple. 20 open-book quizzes & 1 proctored exam, which is the final. No assignments! You're allowed to work ahead, so I finished my quizzes 2 months before the class was over. Teacher is also very nice and willing to help with whatever is needed. :) Definitely recommend for a virtual course!

The only reason I did not put 5 stars on easiness is because the tests are pretty long multiple choice questions, so you really have to know your stuff. I put a 5 for the book because you can literally read through it and get an A, but you really don't need it because her notes are enough. She is clear, loves questions, and is easy going grt class!

Prof. Barry is certainly one of the best at Dade. She's college material. Her tests are a bit long (approx.50-60 ques.) but they cover every note taken in class. She provides you with great reviews and is very helpful in explaining things clearly. A few essays written in class, but easy topics. No homework, and every class is essential. MUST TAKE!

I took Professor Barry's online developmental psychology class. If you read the textbook and watch the provided videos through the revel software, it's an easy A! She gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit and is very understanding if you communicate in a timely manner.

Took online, fall '21. All the hw is online with the listed due dates, it was fairly easy. She would take time to ask for our opinion how to make the class better, she wants you to succeed. This teacher is good but monotone, if you're the type to not pay attention or sleep during class you shouldn't take her. The homework is pretty simple, 2-3 chapters of homework are due every month so you have a lot of time to get things done.
