This teacher really wants her students to pass. She gives a few tests and a review before each test. She gives enough extra credit. No midterm, just a cumulative final. And she's pretty, so that helps

The teacher made the course very understanding and it was the second time I had to take the class. She was very helpful and would go out of her way to help with questions to explain everything clear. She gave tips too remember formulas and study. very good professor

Very good professor, Easy to understand, writes clearly, understands the subject very well. 20% of grade is online HW/Quizzes and the rest are 5 tests and a Final. As long as you do the HW and understand the concepts, you will have no problems. Highly recommended. I know there are some bad math prof. @ FIU. She is NOT one of them

She is super nice and is crystal clear in her lessons. Tells you exactly what is going to be on test. All tests were around 15 ?s but each is worth about 10 points. She replaces the lowest grade with the highest 4 tests in total. Dont do my mistake and study the hardest thing. Sometimes she puts the easiest ?s

Very competent professor. If you actually study what you're supposed to study and do the homework she assigns, you'll pass her class with a high grade. In fact, she even pulled some of the test questions straight out of the book. My only gripe is that she's difficult to understand when answering specific question pertaining to the subject.

Khan is clear and concise. Manage your time, do homework and quizzes, and you will definitely be fine.

Great professor. She tells you everything that will be on her test. If you are the type that likes to skip classes she is NOT your type of teacher. Unless you can teach yourself from the text GO TO CLASS. She explains everything and her tests are just like her lectures.STUDY HER NOTES AND YOU WILL MOST LIKELY PASS. TAKE HER.

She's a really, really good teacher. She's very clear on what she wants you to do and how to do it and is very thorough when she explains. She's young and occasionally funny in class and very relatable to the college kids. Plus, she's hot. I'd definitely take her, she's definitely one of the better ones.

Had her for the extended college algebra class. She's a good teacher, and takes time to explain if you don't understand. There is a hw assignment every week. The test reviews on my math lab are very helpful for the test. I recommend her, she knows her stuff, and keeps the class interesting

Only negative is the MathLab, where it is needed to have logged 3 hours per week in there and the homework and quizzes are eh..alright. The test is exactly the quiz. recommend her a lot. great professor! very nice and kind. really knows her info. will thoroughly explain material so you understand it. 5 tests and a final (though if you score higher on the final than your lowest score, it will replace it). gives reviews for every test (for final use all prior reviews) and bonus points on tests. Trig is hard in general, but she made it a lot better. I failed the class nonetheless but because it was an 8 am class. She is really good and she cared a lot about me when she saw me fail. I am retaking it and wish I was retaking it with her because she spoke clearly and well and loved to answer any questions. Good math teacher.

Shes one of the greatest math teachers ive ever had. Trig is a hard subject and i took it second time around with her. She made it crystal clear. Go to class, and put in the time to do the homework and youll get an A. Plus shes easy on the eyes!

i took her for college algebra and she was very clear in the way she spoke and in explaining the material. very good at answering questions and explaining stuff. there is alot of homework but it is computer-based and it really helps. easy professor to talk to, definitely recommed

First of all, this is NOT an easy class, many people struggle with college algebra but practice makes perfect; it is very time consuming so be prepared. She used MyMathLab and that was very helpful. She makes topics clear and she cares about her students passing.. She's also very pretty and funny.

I loved this professor. She TRULY cares about her students. The class itself is not easy. But she gives you so much extra credit. She gives you extra points on test that gave me 10+ in each test. She's willing to answer any material that you are having problem with. As a professor( not the class difficulty she deserves 5/5 TAKE HER!!!! ko

Probably the best professor to teach College Algebra. Her accent is VERY clear to understand, she helps out by giving you the notes she will use the next day. Homework is pretty reasonable, quizzes given are great indicators as to how well prepared you are for the test, and the test is fair in difficulty. All in all, I recommend this professor.

I was hopeless in math before I met her, I now feel like a math genius. This has helped me out in all of my other classes, she's seriously an amazing teacher, makes the work easy, and still teaches you a lot. Seriously, the best math teacher I have ever had.

She is an awesome professor, you will most def. understand subject matter with her along with proper dose of studying. You will be fine. But you have to pay attention. As side note, during breaks, she enjoys chatting about NBA, MMA, and NFL. She does not follow baseball or boxing so don't bring that up.

Explained everything clearly. Homework was easy and the tests/quizzes were exactly like the homework except for the numbers. If you do the practice tests she boosts your test score up by 5 points.

Very clear instructor. She is willing to help and elaborate on anything. Sometimes she will give us opportunities for extra credit for showing up to a review class session for a test. Attendance is a must. DON'T walk out in the middle of class unless you've told her before. She'll call you out. Hot!

PICK THIS TEACHER! I took this class last fall with another teacher and it was TORTURE! Professor Khan explains everything so clearly and is there to help her students no matter what. She's so helpful and really cares. Not many teachers are like that. Pick her, you won't regret it.

Professor Khan is an amazing math professor. I took MAC 1105 in the fall & failed. Then I took it again in the spring with Professor Khan and I passed. Professor Khan makes things understandable & if you truly don't understand she'll help you as much as possible. She is funny and keeps things fun. But pay attention in class or she'll call you out.

Fair grader, really helpful, really cares about her students

She is very nice and is willing to help you at all times. However the way she teaches is not quite helpful. She just basically goes over the power point and ends up sending it to you. so really there is no point in going to class. Just do your HW , quizzes, attend math gym, and complete the math lab hrs and you'll do fine

Very good professor, really helps out and cares but this course is standard and everyone taking college algebra has to do the same things....homework, quiz, test, lab hours and tests. Thats all you need to focus on. She helps you and reminds you of all these reqs.

So I've come across some pretty bad reviews on Professor Khan, but id have to say shes a rather awesome teacher. She ussually doesnt cover the whole lesson in class, but she sends you the powerpoint. The class is EASY. You need to go to the math lab 3 hours a week and they help you there. IF YOU PUT THE EFFORT IT WILL BE A PIECE OF CAKE. TAKE HER!

Overall, Professor Khan is an awesome individual as a teacher and person. We only had class once a week and in that one day, she taught topics that were easy and not the hard ones. Besides that, she's always there for her students and goes out of her way for them.

I took her for Summer B, funny, her jokes are kind of corny. Shes very helpful, always has a smile on her face. Shes late, one day she was 40 minutes late. We only stayed because we had a test next class. Math lab is mandatory and so is math gym but its helpful, take her ! She takes attendance through iClicker. you dont need the book, buy the code

Funny teacher but uses too much class time (out of a 50 minute class) calling students out for not paying attention. She heavily encourages participation. Class usually ends 5 minutes after it's supposed to. When she's teaching, she's pretty clear and she's very nice and open to questions.

Attendance is mandatory and she will call you out if you're late or not paying attention and taking notes. She tries to be funny. She explains well but the tests are hard. Go to math lab and math gym. There's long hw and quizzes every week which is really annoying and 4 tests.

Khan is one of the best math professors period. Her teaching style is unique and engages students in a subject that most students hate. She goes out of her way to help you and really cares for you. Anyone that would give Khan a "Poor" rating doesn't belong in college and should go back to high school.

Prof. Khan is alright. The only problem she has is tardiness. She's never early for ANY class and that's kind of annoying. Apart from that, I like her.

If possible, DO NOT TAKE HER. College Algebra is an easy subject, but a better instructor wouldn't hurt. She teaches out of a PowerPoint which she then emails to you, so you can pass without going to class. Besides, class usually met 13 days in the week. You will probably learn more with the TAs in the math lab than with her.

She is great! I took Intermediate Algebra and I enjoyed it (weird right?). Sometimes it gets hard but she explains very clearly and if you do the homework you'll be fine. Gives 5 extra points for each of the 4 exams if you attend the review (really helps) before the tests.

Regarding homework, it's not that bad, I mean is math, there will be homework, but it's just all about what you've seen in class. She has a good sense of humor and is always smilings. The environment in the class is pretty good. I would definitely take her again.
