I loved this teacher. She was very good and made a lot of sense. i attened class and made a 100 in the class. She lets you use the notes on the tests and you can retake failed tests. So you get more practice.

Her policies have thought behind them. She'll go back and explain the basics, and make sure you understand how to work formulas, instead of just plugging in numbers. On the final, you can use formula notes. She also has a great sense of humor.

Although she has a Russian accent, she is a great teacher. She is very clear and has a great sense of humor. I am a horrible math student but I have been making A's on tests.I would reccommend that u take her and plus ur homework isn't do til the semester ends. 5pts are added to ur final grade just for coming. Mrs. D is a great teacher although she doesn't speak English very well you will understand her while she teaches. She is very easy. Just pass the test she gives and you will pass. She doesn't use the book in class but you will only need it for homework(use a friends).

This professor is awesome. All you have to do is show up to class and listen. Maybe take a couple of notes if you need them, and do the homework to refresh your memory before a test. Honestly the homework doesn't even take five minutes. If you mess up on a test you get to retake it. I highly recommend.

Very easy this stuff is from high school. Sometimes go to class, always do your mathlab. Her clarity is kinda hard to listen because she Russian, other an that every thing is good.

She is a very helpful instructor. The class is beyond easy. I took it due to it being one of the only math classes that I needed for my major. She allows you to use your own formula sheet on tests. She wants you to learn how to work a math problem; she does not want you to remember formulas and not know how to do the equation. She is a must take.

She is Russian, so she does have a heavy accent but it is understandable. Her class is so incredibly easy and all homeworks and quizzes are online, but tests are not. She allows one-two pages of notes for each test and she is super funny! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

very very easy class. she will tell you exactly what types of questions will be on the exams. she checks attendance and homeworks but not sure if they contribute towards your grades... she doesn't use elearn to post grades. 4-5 exams and final exams very easy

Overall easy teacher. She covers everything that will be on the test and makes sure you understand it before moving on. Tests came from prior homework assignments which made it fairly easy to study. I'd recommend her if you are not trying to break yourself to learn statistics.

LOVED this class!!! She is great at explaining problems. She will go over any math problems that you do not understand from homework. The tests are SUPER easy they are exactly like the homework questions which are very short. So homework in that class is helpful in the end. She really makes math fun to learn. Statistics isn't an easy course, but Mrs. Doroshenko does a good job at explaining the material. She will review what's on the test before, so they're not too bad if you study the homework which is what the test is similar to. Attendance is mandatory, textbook is needed, around 3 tests, and HW from each chapter is due. For a stats course, not bad!!

Professor Doroshenko is the best math professor I have ever had by far. She wants her students to succeed & she does everything in her power to help.

The homework for this class is online and you are allowed three tries for each problem. She allows the use of a "cheat sheet" during tests. She drops your lowest test grade at the end of the semester.

Mrs. Doroshenko is a great teacher. She has a foreign accent which makes her hard to understand at times but after a few weeks of class you will get used to it. I have always been horrible at math, but had to take Stats for my major. I was advised to take Doroshenko and I don't regret it at all. She explains things SO well, the class was super easy. She actually made me enjoy it & it was honestly my favorite class that semester. Her accent does take some getting used to but overall not bad at all. TAKE HER

Ms. Doroshenko is a great instructor! Her lectures are mainly PowerPoint and she gives good examples of the more difficult material. I do feel like her tests are slightly difficult even though she basically lets you use your notes on them. Take her if no one else that fits your schedule has a better review.

She uses great examples that really help in remembering the material she teaches you. Do the online homework and go to class, if you do those two things they will make up for one or two poor tests grades. Her tests aren't bad, she allows a cheat sheet, but study for them. 3 easy tests and 1 easy final. You can bring a notecard to tests and write whatever you want on it. The hardest part is the online homework on my stats lab. You have endless attempts as long as you finish by the deadline. the homework is very time consuming and hard so make sure you work ahead. She is funny and awesome. Attendance is mandatory.

Super easy for a math class. You have infinite attempts for the homework as long as it's finished when due. The tests and final are soooo easy and you get to have a cheat sheet and use phone as a calculator. Looking for an easy A for a math credit? Take her!!

This is my second time taking Mrs. Doroshenko once for Math 1420 and Math 1530 and both times she has been great. Would defiantly recommend both courses from her. As long as you show up to class and do your homework you will pass with an A. If you don't follow her easy instructions on how to pass than you won't do well. All around great professor.

I would suggest this teacher to anyone taking a math course. most of the time I go to class but end up doing other work instead. she explains things very well, and makes it easy to understand. at the beginning it may be hard to understand her accent, but it gets easier over time! This class isn't difficult at all. There is a lot of repetition in lessons, and we do everything online. Tests are open note and very few. As long as you come to class, you're fine.

She is very patient and will go over everything that you need to know for the tests. You mainly work as a class on Tophat, you dont need to buy a textbook from the bookstore, and homework is to watch five minute videos and sometimes read an article. She allows cheat sheats and is a total sweetheart.

One of the more enjoyable professors at this University. Never made any lectures difficult, and we normally got out a little early. Everything we do, aside from the tests, are on tophat. She makes sure we understand everything by doing review classes before the test. Plus, she is funny and nice.

Come to class to get attendance that is incorporated in the final grade. Exams are no surprise and she does review with you before. A lot of classwork, make sure to do it to get your grade up. Overall, very nice and genuinely wants you to understand. May be a bit fast-paced though so keep up.

I love Ms. Doroshenko, she is sweet and funny. She has a thick accent but it's not too hard to understand her. I did not like the program we used during class (TopHat). She says not to worry about your grade until the end of the semester because what is reflected in TopHat is inaccurate, so that was irritating. But the actual class itself is easy.

I took the online section and didn't need to take a single note. She posts her own (short)notes in elearn (not that you'll need them). Three super easy homeworks due in my math lab every two weeks. I took Doroshenko for Stats online and I HIGHLY recommend anyone to take her ESPECIALLY ONLINE!!! Even if you are not good at math or stats I still recommend you to take her course online bc it was VERY straightforward and the final is proctored online but not bad at all! EASY A!!!

Professor Doroshenko is a killer professor for this class. Easily accessible if you have questions. On the final (It's proctored by ProctorU, so be aware of that), she allows a calculator and a formula cheat sheet. That said, the final, compared to the non-proctored tests, is a cakewalk. Just put in the time and do the work and you'll get an A.

Lecture class. Attendance is "mandatory" but I passed by only going to less than half of the classes. DO THE ONLINE HOMEWORK AND GET GOOD GRADES! That is what will save your grade if all goes wrong. For a foundations of math class, the material was very odd and circled around statistics a lot when my other friends in other classes did easy algebra.

She is such a sweet woman. She really cares about her students and really puts in the effort. You do not have to attend class, but I recommend you try to go to the majority. Prof. Doroshenko made math, my worst subject, extremely easy! She is always open to answering any questions to make sure we understand the material. She always has a easy way to explain difficult topics. Coming to class would be the best idea to ensure that you stay on top of your assignments.

The online course didn't have any lectures, which was a blessing and a curse. She was cool when I talked to her, but not always responsive. Homework was super helpful and had most of the test material. Marked as an easy A even though I got a B because everyone else agrees the work was easy, I'm just really bad at math. If I can pass, so can you.

I absolutely loved Professor Doroshenko. She is super nice, and is willing to explain any questions you have. I do wish we were in person, but over zoom the class was still amazing. She has us use TopHat for homework, but some of her other classes used a different platform. She does have an accent, but you just used to it.

Some students had a hard time with the material, but personally I thought I was very straight forward. She had a Russian accent, but her English is perfect! She knows what she is talking about and she is very funny. If you dont understand from her you will definitely understand from the book. I wish all my math teachers were as easy as her.

This was the easiest math class I've ever had! Classes felt really quick, and she made it fun. She doesn't reply to emails, but you have tools from MyMathLab to study and practice. She is well liked for good reason. She is nice+funny. Tests are the problem. They don't always align with lectures. That may not be her fault. Uses $80 MyMathLab and it may be assigned to her. I learn TEST content better from MML than lectures sometimes. Tests don't give enough time. But she explains content well for students who don't get it

I loved Doroshenko. She has a good sense of humor. She was an excellent instructor. However, the test aligned more with the homework site (mymathlab) than it did her lectures. Light homework and few tests.

Only grades are tests/final exam and homework average. Worst test grade was dropped out of the 3. Rarely responds to emails. Thick accent but you get used to it. Wants everyone to understand material and explains thoroughly. Textbook is required b/c thats where we do the homework. You HAVE to attend class for the test.

Took this class online over the summer and had no problems. She grades off of hw and a few test grades but the class is not hard. Never read the notes. Literally just used the website's practice questions to pass. She uses MyLab so you work at your own pace but the exams are set to open at a specific date. Easy math class if u just need a gen ed.
