Very nice, easy going, explains well in detail and helpful at all times.
very hot and cool and easy class
Great teacher makes Algebra make sense for non math people, uses fun reminders to help you remember the how's & why's - just ask about the alien hand
Breaks down material so that anyone can understand it. extremely nice, and makes the class pretty easy.
She's awesome, teaches like a first grade teacher would (expressions and all) and reminds me of that girl from American Pie (Jim's g/f). Very cool, and a hottie
She was very helpful. The TLC was very helpful for this class and she was down there too. She helps her students anytime they need it and explains to everyone before going on. Great teacher, I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
Very clear, helpful, and nice. Graded homework load is very light, and quizzes are pretty easy. She made 119 seem a 1.0x10^2 times easier than 097. And yeah, she is pretty hot....
She is such a great teacher! Always there to help. Explains concepts very well and clear. Not to mention she is pretty hot!
Awesome teacher. Makes a very difficult topic easy. Definately change your schedule for her. She explains everything perfect. You have a quiz every week that is easy and is worth 5 points.
The woman assignes so much homework anyone who is taking a full credit load and working full time should never take her class. Verunreasonalbe when correcting homework too!!!

So sweet, very helpful, fun to take. Worth it! She's way cute, too [coming from a girl!]
Great teacher. Biggest problem is that she collects HW for a grade :(. Class is not as hard as one would think. Highly recommended
The only math class I did not get an A or higher, becuase she collects homework and i don't do math HW. She is very cool though, she explains well, quizes are easy and she wants you to do well. I would recommend taking her class. If you hate HW like me, don't worry about it, do your first set or 2 and then forget about it, it's like 5pts who cares
Does an OUTSTANDING job of explaining material. Moves along slowly but you will understand the topic when she is through. One of the best teachers I've had at any school. Adorable with cute examples and expressions. I would recommend taking her over any SVSU or Delta math prof.

Very tough...Lots of homework and dont miss class or you will fail
The class is not easy, but it is not hard either. Just do the homework and study for the tests and you should be fine. She is easy going and very willing to help you. I missed a class and still got an "A". If you have to take stats take her...no projects either!!
Great teacher, always willing to help. Homework is in the syllabus. Test are short. She is a sweetheart. If you have to take stats, she is awesome.
natasha is very nice and very helpful... a great teacher to take.
Very nice teacher. Would recommend her. Very easy. Explains everything very well. Tests are easy. Doing homework is not a requirement. Not graded on homework. Tests are very easy too. From a guys stand point, not super hot. Certainly not bad though.
awesome professor! i'm not a math wiz and i got an A. she's super sweet and is willing to do all that she can to help. her teaching style is excellent as well. she makes things easily understood to all!
Excellent teacher. Super nice. More than willing to help you out.
She is the best math professor I've ever had. She makes everything understanable and has unique ways of explaining things. If I could, I'd take ALL my math classes from her. She's delightful.
Natascha is extremely nice and an excellent teacher. If you dont understand something, just ask. She wont make you feel stupid and explains in until you understand it. However, the class does go pretty slow. If you are a fast learner, you need to be extremely patient in her class. Overall, an excellent teacher.
Mrs. Rivet is such a nice person. She is goofy and always gives cute analogies to how to remember math. If you have trouble, just ask her because she'll help you.
Great teacher. Very clear, understanding, and passionate about the subject. Natascha is down to earth and is willing to help anyone learn the subject. Attendance is mandatory because of the quizzes/graded works. You actually use the book too.
This is a tough course but Natasha was very helpful. You need to come to class because you have a quiz every class period. The points are hard to come by so make sure you show up and do the quizzes. Tests are ok if you know your stuff. She answeres any questions before the quiz so make sure you got everything down. I am glad i took her!
Good teacher, but the class is tough. If you miss a class you're going to fall behind a bunch so make sure you catch up fast. Exams are tough and you have to know your stuff, so make sure you study. If you do have to take this class though, this is the teacher to take it with.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that she is the best teacher at Delta. She is super nice. She makes it easy to ask questions. Don't even bother taking someone else for math courses, just stick with Mrs. Rivet.
Natascha is great professor although she is very percise. When you take her test, she makes it unclear what she wants. If you have any questions, clarify them before proceeding in the class. She however cares and will help you if help is needed.
I had Natascha for 097 and she was amazing, so when I went into 119 and she didn't teach a single thing, I was highly confused. She didn't explain things for 119 and for group work, she'd never explain what we were to do. I ended up dropping it after 2 weeks and switched professors. It's the best thing I could have done because now I'm learning.
Mrs. Rivet is a good teacher for non-math people, such as myself. I did much better than I expected to in her class. I learned from her. She is willing to help when asked. She keeps her office hours. Sometimes she talks down to students like we are children, but maybe some of us need that. :)
Mrs Rivet totally blows. The most common saying i heard from her was: "I don't know". Whos says that? Don't take her, she's very unclear, doesn't explain things. The book she uses is useless for the class because she dissagrees with it. The book gets one answer, then she gets another and moves on!
She is a good teacher. Always willing to help and she's extremely nice; however, she doesn't always have the answers. She assigns problems and then when questions are asked sometimes she doesn't even know how to do them either so it gets a little frustrating. The tests are fairly easy and she tells you what to study for the previous class.
She was really caring, and wanted to help. Good at explaining
Mrs. Rivet was a great professor! While the pace of this class is pretty slow and there is not a lot of math, that is the nature of the class. If someone asked a question, she would answer it completely before moving on. Tests were very easy. We always knew what material would be on the test and had sample ?s. Natascha is pretty cute too!
She assigns ridiculous amounts of homework every single day, with little to no explanation or help from her. Her explanations are half-help at best. Do not take her if you are taking ANY other classes, as she OBVIOUSLY expects you to have 6 hours a night set aside for homework.
Natascha is so sweet! I hated math before I took this class and when I went into her 096 class everything made sense. She does a very good job of making sure everyone in the class gets it before moving on. She's very animated so she keeps your attention. There is a lot of homework, but it's always odd numbers which are in the back of the book.
Great professor!!! Very very helpful and willing to do anything to help you understand the material.
Class was very enthusiastic and animated all semester. I took her Calc 1 class. Her homework assignments (not assigned book HW)are very challenging and I recommend going to the tutoring center to complete those assignments, otherwise you will struggle. Tests are pretty tough as well but there is a review. class is not a cake walk, so study hard.
Both are now officially the easiest classes I have taken thus far. She is very nice, pretty fair, and for people saying she assigns a lot of homework: She assigns a lot, but your only actually have to turn in 4 at the most. Just do what I do, and do the four problems and get on with your life. Side note: She looks like an adult Demi Levato
Instead of focusing so much on how to do the material, you should memorise definitions word for word, stupid points like that made my grade go from an A to a B..
She is a great teacher and knows her work. she is fast paced and expects you to do your work. Study the book and when you take her ask her about the alien hand!
Natascha is a very nice lady. This class is very tough to begin with, but if you do your homework, attend class, and try your best you'll probably pass. Over half the class dropped though. Calculus is not easy.
Mrs. Rivet is a great math teacher. I've never liked math but I enjoyed her class. She's very helpful and explains concepts thoroughly. I would definitely recommend her class!
Awesome teacher! She's so helpful and very kind. When you ask a question, she's willing to help and clarify what she means, unlike some teachers. Math isn't my best subject, but I don't mind going to her class!
Such a nice person. If you don't understand something she goes over it again until you get it. Also has quirky sayings that help you remember alot of mathmatical rules. I highly reccommend her.
I highly recommend her, great teacher! She's extremely helpful and has many tips to help remember math. Homework is extra credit but to learn anything you need to do it. Over all best math teacher I've ever had!
Very fun and helpful teacher! Used the book every day and she explains everything with detail if you ask! Tests weren't too hard, and homework wasn't either!
Hot woman and easy class do the homework and you will be fine
She is extremely helpful, and makes a not so fun topic for most, not nearly as bad! Best college math teacher that I've had out of 3 by far! She's pretty hot too so that never hurts! At least for 097, I strongly recommend!
Was not clear enough with guidelines.
Take the 119 class out to the planetarium if you want a good grade. The class average on the final was 64%. The average on the rest of the tests was under 74%. She bragged that the planetarium class showed up a half hour early and had half the enrollment and received better grades. There was no time before class for questions at main campus.
Natascha was an awesome teacher. She has goofy ways to help you remember harder concepts. I would recommend anyone who isn't the best at math to take her class, she is always willing to answer questions before ad after class.
Great teacher! I would recommend her to anyone.
Very nice, but has her own way of doing things, but most do. No tricks with her just do the home-work as practice and you should pass. I had her when I was 43 years old and hadn't had math in over 20 years and ended up getting a final grade of 103%. A+, if they still gave them out that is. Not bad, I took the A.
One of the worst math professors I've had at Delta, I will never take one of her classes again. I'm not great at math, and she was NOT helpful in helping me learn it. Take someone else if you're not great at math too.
She was such a sweetheart who really cares if her students learn. She has childish ways to remember steps in math problems but I found myself using "flower power" and "alien hand" on the final. Recommend for someone that struggles with math.
One of the best professors I've had at Delta! We had a very small class. She would walk around to each student and see how they were doing each day. She was very open to suggestions and really cared if you weren't getting it. She answers any question you have! Great teacher! Great person! She is an easygoing person!
This professor is definitely not the greatest at Delta. She moves way to fast. I've asked her to slow down she just keeps on moving. It's not fair to those students who struggle. I would not recommend her as an instructor for future students.
Best math teacher I've ever had. She moves quickly through the book, but she explains everything so simply that it's easy to understand. Fair on grading, always willing to help.
LOVED HER. favorite and best professor I've had so far. she makes things very understandable and easy to learn! I would definitely recommend taking her class!
Natascha is one of those people who should genuinely be a teacher. Her classes are really well organized, she seems to honestly care weather her students pass or fail. She goes out of her way to help you if you're having trouble with the material via her office hours. Only bad thing is she absolutely does not take late work, even if you were sick.
She is a good math teacher and very nice. When i took her for MTH120, it was the first time she taught it so it was a little tough for her. She was still a good teacher though for her first time. Some stuff was a little unclear but she is willing to help you. Homework was not a lot and the tests are over your subject with no surprises.
Hands down best professor I have ever had. The nicest person you will ever meet and so helpful. I took two of her classes and loved them! I wish she taught all of the classes I needed to take. You won't regret taking her class.
Mrs. Rivet is the best math instructor I have ever had. Math is not my strong suit, but I passed her class with an easy A. She is not a tricky instructor by any means and is very understanding. She returned homework in a timely manner and went over all of the quiz and test questions. I recommend having her as your professor for this course!
Natacsha was a great math professor but moved quickly. Tests are difficult and she does not go over the answers when you get them back. Overall the class was not bad, as long as you take notes and do your homework you will be set. Will also have 3 projects throughout the semester. Just make sure to study for tests and turn work in on time!
Good instructor. Nice lady. Really tough grader. If you are a student who isn't good at math but still care about your G.P.A. I wouldn't suggest taking her MTH 119 class. Her assignments were not good reflections of what I learned. The homework and exams were tough and I really worked hard, even went to the tutoring center. I just barely passed.
She is a nice lady but I tough class. Part of it was that it was only a 90 minute class which I thought was too short of a class to get through everything so I felt rushed a few times going through the material. Chapter homework is all due on test days so try not to slack on them. She can be a tough grader but will help you if you struggle but try
Worst teacher I have ever had. Her test are difficult, and doesn't give credit where credit is due. Try's to shove 3 chapters in less than an hours. Expects you to know how all the stats buttons on the calculator. I wouldn't take her if I where you
My favorite professor I've ever had! She is so sweet and really cares if you understand the material or not. I was nervous to take Statistics but she made my experience AWESOME and I actually ENJOYED a math class! The material may be hard, but she does so well at explaining it and won't move on until everyone gets it. I recommend her to everyone!
Goes very fast through lectures, unorganized notes, expects you to take pictures and put them in your notes later. Tests are very long and difficult. Very sarcastic and unpleasant. Teaching style does not align with the book which makes the hw difficult. Assigns "prepared for class questions" which are USELESS.
Professor Rivet was the most amazing professor I have had at Delta. I actually looked forward to her class because she explained everything so well and wouldn't move on until everyone understood the material. She is very caring and wants to make sure everyone does well. Do the homework on time, pay attention, TAKE NOTES and you should pass.
I thought natascha was a very nice lady and explained things well in lectures however sometimes she would try and teach a lot at once and examples of problems she would give did not correspond with the homework, which was usually a lot harder, and tests didnt either. she is always willing to help outside of class and gives great one on one help.
Definitely one of THEE ABSOLUTE BEST MATH TEACHERS I HAVE EVER HAD. She simplified calculus down and explained it super slow so that it was easy to understand. Her office hours are very flexible if you need help and she is a very genuine, caring teacher that actually wants to help you understand the material. I would take her classes over and over!
The prof gives you a lot of worksheets of sample problems on the test. Tests are not hard if you study those worksheets and pay attention in class.
It was her first time teaching the class and it was clear to us she didn't have a grasp on some of the info. She can be a little rude when you don't understand. The TLC became my teacher for some of the concepts. Do NOT wait until you don't understand to ask for help. Do your excessive amounts of homework in the TLC (about 60 problems every 2 days)
Shes a nice lady, and she means well, but shes a very tough grader and can get kind of rude when you arent understanding. She called me out saying I should drop the class in front of everyone. I signed up for a pass no credit on this class because I didnt want it to affect my GPA.
I thought she was a good professor. She was really easy to talk to. We started class with any questions we had. We had four tests and a take home final exam. Make sure you have a TI84 calculator because we used it for everything. I definitely recommend her.
Professor Rivet was helpful when I asked her questions during her office hours. The class materials are tough, but she helped explain the material in a variety of ways. She also walks around the classroom to make sure you understand how to do the math problems. She is caring and wants you to learn the material. I would take a class of her's again!
Natascha Rivet is an amazing professor. Statistics class was not easy and it is very fast-paced, but she really encourages conversation from her students if things are unclear. She's extremely caring & will do anything to help her students out. Just understand that if you do not do the homework or miss class, it will be MUCH harder.
I took Rivet's stats class online and it was one of the best online classes I've ever taken. She is organized and super helpful if you are struggling. The book is free but we never really used it.
Professor Rivet is really good, she will answer any question you have whether that is for homework, quizzes, or online homework. She makes herself very accessible, she is also very friendly and keeps things simple. The class has just over 500 points, do the homework, come to class and you will be fine.
I was never good at math and kind of expected not to do well in college, Mrs. Rivet built my confidence immensely and was available for any help/question you would need. She is a very sweet person and genuinely cares about your learning and well being. 10/10 would recommend.
Truly one of the best Professors I've had so far. Her grading style is different from usual, but that doesn't make it difficult. She genuinely cares that everyone understands the class and can pass. A very, very good Professor.
Be sure to pay attention and listen. She has 2 big tests and 2 portfolios. They are worth 50 points and test 100 points. You can retest if you have the optional homework done. She was a good teacher. Fast paced though. You'd be fine if you're 10 minutes late to class you'd be fine but just pay attention.
