She makes learning about psychology really interesting and explains well--I read the book, but when she explains the concepts, I understand so much better.

Online class was great. Tests and quizzes are hard if you do not do the weekly assignments and discussions boards. I would recommend this class for anyone needing Psych. Very helpful teacher too!

I took her online class. She is very helpful, but her class has way too much information. There are only like 3 or 4 quizes for the entire semester. Each 25pt quiz covers about 10 chapters in the book. That's a hell of a lot of information to retain. She is very helpful though and will help you earn a good grade.

Great instructor, however a challenging course. She expects you to do well. If you do all of the assignments, you should be able to pass with at least a b. Definetely reccomended.

Took her online class. Best online I've seen. Very well organized and clear. Little HW, quizes after every unit, and tests after every section is completed. Provides study guide, and they aren't very hard tests/quizes. Lectures are layed out well, and extra information is provided outside of the lecture. Extra credit is given as well.

Had her for Child Psych online. I felt like I learned a lot from her lectures. Easy class, only 5 homework assignment 4 tests (final is cumulative). I recommend reading the book if you want to ace all the tests. She gives a bunch of feedback and is really responsive to any questions you may have. Great class!

Prof. Fratello is the epitome of caring and learning. Online classes are ALWAYS hard compared to their counterparts but she goes out of her way to help you. Open book tests, a term paper and a cumulative midterm/final. Cheap books you can download (Flatworld). An A you have to work for but if you're serious I'm sure you won't have it any other way.

Great teacher and with the combined writing course it made her final writing a very easy and enjoyable assignment, she lets you make up tests and class itself was very clear a good class to take as an opener to college

She's funny. The in-class workload is intense and fast paced if you're new to psychology since there's a ton of information to process and memorize. I missed class a hand full of times but she let me make up the work, and I ended up with a B in the end. She was my first collegiate teacher and I liked her.

I can honestly say that she is the most wonderful teacher. She really cares about her students and she goes out of her way to answer a question. Some find it annoying that she will not answer individual questions in class. At office hours she will focus on you and the dificulties you are having with the material. I strongly recpmmend her!!!!

A lot of reading of the textbook and supplemental reading, which is expected for an online class. A lot of work, weekly forum posts and all exams are multiple essay questions. If you are someone who dislikes writing like I do, it can be a little challenging. The exams can be difficult and time consuming.

I've had online classes at ARC and other institutions where the course material was very limited in scope and usefulness. Professor Fratello's course material was in abundance, in both quantity (Textbook + complete powerpoint style lectures with PDF print outs + and industry standard articles. If you like lectures, this class is for you. Class consists of a lecture (slideshow available to students online) and she picks random days for an assignment. Quizzes every week online, but can be taken unlimited times and only 5 points. Exams are tough and do not follow the study guide. Tough professor but if you do your work it is doable.

Prof. Natasha Fratello is a class act. Her class was hard and in depth, but if you pay attention and do the work you will do well. She is extremely willing to help you and makes herself available the entire semester. I would take any class she offers, she is extremely knowledgeable, her lectures are fluid and information packed, she stays on point.

If you're planning on taking this class be prepared to devote many hours to it! Class if pretty independent, and a majority of it is based on the reading she assigns. There's A LOT of reading & be prepared to take notes on it if you want a good grade. She's a pretty awesome lady, very passionate and there for you if you need help!

Professor Fratello is a sweet person but her lectures during class are super long and dry. If you want to pass her class: do the assigned readings, complete quizzes, show up to class, and memorize her lecture notes that are on D2L and the class is an easy A. I'd recommend taking her learning community class, it helps for the paper she assigns.

I enjoyed her teaching and assessment style. There is a quiz and w2l after each unit. The quizzes can be taken for many times before the due date, and each time you will see new questions, so it helps you learn. The highest grade will be counted. There are also 1 midterm and 1 final exams. I took the course online. She was always available to help.

She is a really good professor! Super nice and caring to her students. She does however give a lot of reading, and if you don't do the readings, you will not get what is on the test. She is very clear about what she wants out of you. The tests do not follow the study guides very well so just make sure you are doing the readings.

Easy as hell doig, I read the one of the two assigned books for about 10 minutes the whole semester and got an A.

The highlight about Prof Fratello is she's a very caring teacher. I find her class to be very interesting. She cares about her students and would like to pass as many as she can. Only downside is, she is a very busy lady, teaching hundreds of students so her office hours are limited. Other than that, she's not a harsh grader

My favorite part of the class was when she would tell us stories that related to the topic from her life, because she had those experiences.

I would recommend study partners because the final was cumulative but she'll give study guides for each test. There was one big paper that you worked on through the semester, so don't slack off on it!

Professor Fratello is awesome! I have a busy schedule, so I really like how she structured the class. I knew what to expect each week. There is a 2-3 page article review and two peer reviews to do, but they're very easy! You won't pass the class without doing both of them, but if you follow her weekly plan you'll finish them with enough time!

Prof. Fratello is my first online professor and I thought that she was going to be one of the hardest out of all my other professors, but actually, she is pretty easy, as long as you do the reading, do all assignments, you will pass the class. She also has extra credit options that you can do as well. Provides study guides for all exams.

Professor Fratello makes the criteria extremely easy to understand, she relates it back to her experiences from when she was a therapist. She knows the topic really well and does what she can to help you succeed. She is easily accessible outside of class and gives great feedback. She makes the class time is fun so make sure you don't skip!

Understands that many taking class are not psychology majors and takes that into account with expectations. Expectations and assignments are clearly outlined and an A is fairly easy. Prepare for lots of interesting reading.

Professor Fratello is AMAZING! I took the hybrid class and she made the time that we had with her in class count. The exams were clear and were about everything on the study guide, no surprises. She emphasized everything she wanted you to know. There is a term paper, but she helps you through it step by step throughout the semester. Very helpful!

Professor Fratello is an incredible professor who cares about psychology. She really attempts to relate the subject to the current world around us. Her hybrid course requires you to read heavily. DO NOT SLACK. Very attentive to detail, fair grader who cares about the student and wants the student to succeed. I highly recommend this professor 100%!

If youre taking the hybrid class be prepared to read. Exams are all exactly based on readings so make sure you do them. I got high Cs on the first exams and still passed with an A bc if you do the W2L worksheets and keep trying until you get 5/5 on the quizzes your grade will have all that easy points fluff. Do the critical review on time!

I cannot possibly say enough good things about Professor Fratello!! She is kind & genuinely cares about you learning the marerial. Her classroom is a space where you can feel welcome & understood. She offers tons of extra credit opportunities, her exams are very straightforward and easy to pass if you study the lectures and do the quizzes. 12/10

Professor Fratello is an amazing professor. Her online class is structured with clear expectations and a discussion board for students to discuss topics and ask questions. The textbook is an important resource in this class. You get unlimited attempts on the quizzes. There is 1 paper for the class that she spreads out deadlines for across the term.

I'm taking the hybrid class for this semester. Weekly, you read a chapter (30pgs) from your textbook or required book, then you take an online quiz. During class, she goes over material read and you do a class W2L worksheet. This class is tough if you don't like reading. Besides class review/activities you're on your own for learning the material.

Professor Fratello is an amazing professor. I took her online PSYC 373 & PSYC 300 class. All of her instructions and expectations are well structured. You have reading assigned each week followed by a 5 question quiz. She responds to questions & concerns and follows up with the class weekly. Overall,great professor!

Professor Fratello is a very intelligent woman and is highly knowledgeable about Psychology. I took the hybrid class and her lectures are mostly discussions, videos and skimming on the reading. The reading is heavy, atleast 2 chapters a week, plus lecture notes, articles, videos and a quiz. Easy A if you do all of the assignments.

Ms. Fratello was one of the best teachers I ever had and the second best online course experience. In her slides she actually adds some interesting facts. Her tests test the breadth of knowledge and she seems to car about critical thinking skills not regurgitation. Cannot say enough good things. She used a book that makes you think but isn't boring

I had no clue what to expect from this course but I was surprised by how much interesting material Professor Fratello taught through her assignments! I feel like I'm going to use a lot of the material I learned from this course in my future career as a Therapist or school counselor. And despite all odds, COVID-19 didn't effect this great course!

Prof at first sight looks tough but highly supportive & motivational. She give you opportunity to learn & get an A. If you study with the units study guide and practice the un-timed online quizzes with unlimited attempt multiple times, passing the unit/final exams will be super easy. Professor Fratello's class was educational, thorough, and easy for an online class. Due to taking it as a summer course, there was a lot of reading but as long as you do what's assigned you'll get a good grade.

Hello, shes a really nice professor and makes it easy to contact her. There is a lot of reading but the lectures and videos help a lot too. She has a late policy for certain assignments so you have about three days to make up an assignment. Overall good class and good teacher.

The class was chill. I tend to procrastinate but it is almost the end of the semester and I am still in the 94% range. There is a quiz every week, for online, you can take it as many times as you want. She wants you to pass, and you take the quiz until you learn the material. I like her, she is sweet.

This class was asynchronous. Prof Fratello had lots of communication both via emails, the class Dashboard and on-line office hours. There are weekly readings from one/both assigned books, as wells as pdf lectures, with a quiz at the end of the week. Throughout the semester several discussion papers are assigned. If you study, you will pass.

Dr. F is the best professor. It would be even greater if this is an in-person class. Take her, you wont regret! provide extra credit not much workload but you learn if you follow her lectures and videos

Prof. Fratello's class is honestly super easy to get an A in. Some weeks there's lots of hw/ reading, but others there isn't. My advice is to get some done each day. Weekly quizzes can be taken as many times as necessary, and tests have some quiz questions, and new questions that are taken from all homework. Lots of extra credit opportunities.

Good professor, her class consisted of weekly quizzes, 3 unit tests, no finals or midterms, and an analysis essay that she gave an ample amount of time to work on, try not to leave it to the last minute. (took me about 2 weeks to slowly write)

This professor was easy-going and organized. Most of the homework was reading the textbook provided online. We also had 5 question quizzes that had unlimited attempts. I particularly wouldn't take this professor again because I have a different learning style. It was okay overall.

There is quite a lot of reading (about interesting topics) in this class so be prepared to set aside a good amount of time to take notes. Fratello gives a lot of warnings and updates for the course, but ultimately it's up to the student to keep themselves on track (it's easy to get overwhelmed if you fall behind).

This is the easiest psychology class. Tons of extra credit available, and there are weekly quizzes but they all have unlimited attempts. Exams are straight forward and questions are not surprising. The average I believe was a B for every exam. Discussions and written assignments are manageable. Take this course for an easy GE course.

She is wonderful. Not too much homework, focuses more on lessons for real life. She teaches because she loves it! Has fair late work policy & lots of ec. She wants you to succeed! Has you track your own grade. Grade does not rely on much. Do not miss exams. Make up the hw! I didn't hence my C. Great class! I have her next semester.

Loved Fratello. She is an easy grader. As long as you do your work you will pass. Quizzes have multiple attempts, and there was only 1 paper for this class that you worked on throughout the whole semester. She gives all her assignments in her rubric so you know what to expect.

One of the most organized professors from the get-go. Grading & expectations were clear. There r wkly reading, quizzes, & homework but all r very manageable. Bummer that the class was online & asynchronous because it was kind of difficult to keep up with all the psychology concepts, however, professor always checks in & makes sure you're doing well

Absolutely loved Professor Fratello. She ensures she is there to help whenever her students need. She does not assign a lot of work and you are able to retake her quizzes until you are satisfied with your grade which is amazing. She also allows you to complete a bonus points log which bumps up your score by 20 points. I would definitely recommend.

This was easily the best online course I've taken. The organization was amazing and it was very easy to see where all the resources were, what was assigned, and what the quizzes were on. If you have to take Psych 300, take Professor Fratello. I'm sure she's great in person as well

I took her class for child development and it was very easy. There are weekly lectures + reading + quizzes (with 5 questions and unlimited retakes). There are 3 reflection papers (also easy, like 500 words) and three research essays (like 1000 words). The research papers are a bit harder, but she offers extra credit. 3 exams Closed notes, 50 Q's.

Loved professor Fratello. She cares about her students and cracks jokes during lectures. Too much reading in my opinion, but a lot of information can be glossed over. Most exam scores would have a mean of a B or C. Lets you score up to 25 extra credit points, which grades as 25/0 not 25/25, which boosts grades a lot!

This Prof made learning fun and accessible. Just do the reading each week, take notes in class, review the lecture slideshows and quizzes available online. The prof created an environment encouraging questions and staying curious. I'll be happy if my future profs can even hold a match to how great of an educator this prof was! Take. This. Class!

Natasha Fratello is a great professor. She genuinely cares about her students and how she teaches her class. This course has a lot of reading, but she has excellent slideshows that showcase the important points. Her classes consist of a lecture and sometimes a writing assignment, so be prepared to write about the reading in class.

Professor Fratello is amazing and I recommend her to anybody taking psychology!! Her lectures are well thought out and detailed. She goes a bit fast but if you concentrate you can get it done. She uses analogies and stories to make things interesting and with the lectures and readings I've scored an A on all of the exams so far.

Incredibly easy if you dedicate yourself to doing the work. There's a quiz a week, an exam every 4 weeks, and writing in-class. The reading she assigns can get overwhelming if you're not keeping up with it. She's incredibly kind and if you have questions about loosely-related material, she'll email you about it. She wants to help her students.

I learned so much and I loved the way class was set up. Expect a lecture every class and one small in-class assignment working with the people around you. If you keep up with the readings (which is a good amount of reading, but not hard-to-read material) then you should do well on the multiple choice tests. She has great tips to help you succeed!

Honestly, her class was pretty easy, with a lot of extra credit opportunities. Her weekly quizzes have infinite tries, so you aren't penalized for learning. I do think that she's a really hard grader with written assignments. I didn't do the readings most weeks, as we ended up covering everything that was tested on in the lectures.
