She's very caring and starts every class by asking us to share good news. She wants class to be fun and a safe environment and is good at explaining material. She understands stress and tries to give more time on weekly assignments on weeks we have quizzes. She cares about your feedback and if you follow rubrics you will get good grades.
I LOVE Prof. Parikh so much. She's so caring and her video lectures are amazing. She does an incredible job of explaining herself and everything online so I'm assuming the in person version of this class will be even more amazing. She genuinely cares about your grade and well-being. Her tests/quizzes/assignments are not difficult, just study a bit.
I really enjoyed her PSYC 210 course and she was extremely nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend her for others who need to fulfill a PSYC 210 requirement. I had no stats background and this class was still easy to understand and the lectures were very informative.
Prof Parikh is an amazing professor! She is super nice and available, explains concepts well and posts lecture videos to watch before class. She also records class lectures so attendance is not always required (she does have zoom options for class too). Easy A, offers extra credit and cancelled class because it was a no bones day. best prof
she's amazing and so sweet! you're going to have to actually put in the work, but if you do, it is an easy A. watch the video lectures she posts and study them-- they will help with the quizzes and midterm! it is a big lecture but she adores every single one of her students.
She truly cares about everyone in her class. There are no stupid questions, and she is one of the only professors that has never been intimidating and never judges! Dr. Parikh is a breath of fresh air, and she values mental health. Her TAs are great too--Nick and Eric! I hope she has a wonderful life and both sides of her pillow are always cold!!!!
She starts off every lecture asking for positive things that happened and you could tell people appreciated this and liked her because they actually answered. I loved that she gave us a hybrid option due to COVID. She gives extra credit and retakes.( I recommend doing all the assignments on time even if you don't know how to do them!)
Please take her class. I have never had a better, more caring professor. She is so sweet and funny. The format of this class was really helpful--watched online lectures then came to class to review and work on assignments. She is truly the best. Assignments were not too hard and really well made to prepare for exam. Quizzes were pretty easy too
I loved PSYC210, because of how great professor Parikh is! Shes very easy to communicate with, gives a clear list on how your assignments will be graded. She always starts lectures off asking if anyone has good news they would love to share. Shes gives many extra credit opportunities and overall you can tell she truly cares about her students.
necessary class for PSYC majors. Show up, pay attention and you'll get an A
Prof Parikh is truly the most wholesome and caring professor at UNC. She is incredibly understanding and just a good person (which is hard to find with most professors at UNC). She is the professor you will recommend to all of your other friends, and she gives you every opportunity possible to succeed in her class (including extra credit!)
Prof. Parikh is EXTREMELY amazing, not just as a professor but person as well! She is very caring and wants all of her students to succeed and know the material. The grading criteria is clear, with most assignments due on the weekend for which she also gives you class time to work on them. Again, such an amazing professor, I highly recommend!
Dr. P is an amazing professor and I would definitely recommend taking any of her classes if you can. I loved her so much from PSYC210 that I decided to take her 220 and 270 the next semester!
Dr. P is literally the sweetest professor ever, this is my second semester at UNC and I've had her both semesters and loved each. She understands you are human, and you have a life outside of school, and things happen. Very accommodating with COVID related preferences. Do your work, read the textbook, and you'll do great.
I loved Natasha Parikh and really look forward to taking her again. This class was decently easy as long as you watched her video lectures. She explains the material very well and is honestly a great teacher. She's very sweet and encouraging and always tries to help if you're struggling with something. Her assignments are relatively easy.
No textbook to buy, allowed zoom option whole semester, two classes of lecture a week and third class would be to work on our weekly assignment. All quizzes online open note, participation through PollEv, and she was super super nice! The class overall is also very easy (basic stats info). Not too much effort needed.
Dr. Parikh is very nice! She lectures two days of the week and Fridays are project workdays. The whole class is designed to get you to write a research paper, but it is broken down into manageable parts throughout the semester. She gives detailed instructions for assignments. Overall, it wasn't too much work.
She is so nice, super accessible and always understanding and willing to help or move deadlines if you're struggling. She really shows that she cares for her students, offers extra credit and does not give a ton of busy work. Also offered a zoom option the whole semester and recorded lectures. Overall wonderful prof that truly wants you to succeed!
Best prof I have this semester! Prof P is kind and her lectures were amazing as well. Lots of great resources, and she replies to emails quickly. You can also retake quiz and she will average the two quiz grades if you scored higher on your second take.
Prof Parikh was a good professor! I didn't necessarily think the class content was easy but thought it was taught well. Prof Parikh was flexible and understanding, offered zoom options, recorded lectures, and time to do assignments in class throughout the whole semester.
Prof. Parikh is nice and her lectures were pretty good. She gave an option to join and receive participation credit through Zoom. The weekly assignments had clear instructions and were not difficult to complete.
Psych 220 has a lot of material, but she broke it down and all of the exam material was covered in the lectures. I was not a fan of the writing assignments but she gave extra credit opportunities.
I have to leave an obligatory 5 stars because of how nice she is and how much she cares about her students. I wouldn't recommend taking her classes unless your interested in them, otherwise they might be kind of boring. She is good professor, a beautiful person, and a pretty good teacher.
Dr. Parikh is absolutely amazing!! She responds so fast to emails, explains content in a simple and concise yet effective manner, and is just such a sweet person!
Prof. P is super sweet and understanding. 10 assignments, 5 quizzes, a midterm, final, and participation. TAs could grade a little harshly but overall an awesome class with clear expectations and pretty quick grading. Also offers extra credit and a small curve on the final.
Professor Parikh is extremely kind and caring. She assigned a reasonable amount of work and was very lenient with things like deadlines and grades. Learned a lot from her as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
One of the few professors ive had who genuinely cares about her students and their well-beings. Very kind and helpful.
Great professor. Caring and understanding. The class grades come from weekly assignments alongside quizzes and 2 exams. She understands that you have a life outside of school and tries her best to make it easier. Fridays are workdays for assignments or quizzes. Great lecturer
The goal of the class is creating decent research papers, so she doesnt try to trick you or make quizzes/tests unfair. The pacing of the research project was good in terms of workload. Shes also genuinely one of the sweetest professors ive ever had, and was super accommodating with any students personal/deadline issues!
This was a great class. Dr. Parikh does her best to make the class fun, welcoming, and engaging. The readings were sometimes long, but the tests were fair and clear.
The content of this course was interesting and presented in a clear, engaging, and multifaceted way. There were plenty of opportunities to balance out lower grades, and the tests were very fair. Dr. Parikh is very knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly cares a lot about her students and the material she teaches.
Statistics isn't my strong suit but Professor Parikh made it so incredibly easy to do well in this class. Not only is she super accomodating, but she's so knowledgable and easy to feel comfortable around. I would recommend her to anyone fearful of stats because she'll make it a manageable experience :)
Probably one of the nicest professors I've seen at UNC. Basically AP Stats all over again (didn't know that bc it's listed as a psyc course) so it was pretty straightforward, and even if you don't have a stats background, it was much easier than AP Stats. Graded fairly and tried to make it as interesting as possible.
common parikh W
Professor Parikh is one of my favorite professors I have had at UNC. She was super easy to work with and clear on expectations. Grading was fair and opportunities for extra credit were available.
I love professor P! She is super sweet and caring and the class is pretty straightforward: two M/W lectures and a Friday project workday where you meet with your group during class time (on zoom or in class) to work on your semester-long research project. The TA's can be a little tough at grading, but overall great class structure person!
Professor P is super sweet and caring, and will never make you feel dumb. Before every class, there is a 20-30 minute online lecture due, and her lectures are usually reviews (there is a zoom option too). There are 5 quizzes, three exams, and a weekly assignment (all online). Participation = pollev. Psyc210 is essentially an easy AP Stats class.
Dr. Parikh is a incredibly kind and understanding person. She is good at explaining topics during her lectures and is very knowledgeable. PSYCH 270 is a lot of work, but she gives plenty of time to work on each part of the research paper. The class is available on Zoom as well, in case you can't make it to the lecture.
Professor Parikh is hands down the BEST professor I've had at UNC. Attendance is mandatory for participation credit, but there's always a zoom option. She is so sweet and caring and is always accessible outside of class. All quizzes and the final are asynchronous and open-note and Fridays are optional assignment workdays. Definitely take her class!
Prof. Parikh is fantastic, each week we have a short video to watch before class (20-40 mins) then review what we watched during our in-person lecture. All tests and quizzes, including the midterm and final, are administered through Canvas and are open note. She explains topics super well, I highly recommend her class!
She offers optional online
Professor Parikh is one of the best professors I've had this semester. She is the best lecturer. We basically have no work- one assignment per week at 5 quizzes throughout the semester. Classes can be joined in person or on zoom, and friday class is optional!! TAs are pretty tough graders though
She was great but paul sucks
Parikh made the class well structured with informational lectures, concise/shorter classes, lots of practice (PollEv and homework assignments), and extra credit towards the end of the semester. Def recommend!
Also had her for 210. There's an online option for this class, just make sure to answer pollev questions (they don't have to be correct). Can be flexible about assignment deadlines, offers extra credit at the end of the semester. Just make sure you don't get stuck with a bad group for the project (and communicate with her if you do)
Overall, I really enjoyed her class. Even though Friday classes are optional, you pretty much HAVE to attend if you want to do well on the assignments. The quizzes, assignments, and midterm are fair and honestly pretty easy. But the final is very challenging. Luckily, she offers extra credit periodically.
if ur studying psych and have the option to take a class with dr. p, DO IT! this woman is literally an angel like
Dr. P is one of the best psych professors out here! Take atleast one of her classes if you can! This class was doing a research project + paper and it was fairly easy as long as you had a good group, if you don't have a good group please speak to her about it because some assignments are submitted as a group and she always answers your questions!
Dr. Parikh is an amazing professor! If you have the opportunity to take her class, do it! Our class consisted of either an assignment each week or a quiz (although there were only 5 quizzes throughout the semester). The midterm was fairly simple, but the final was a bit more challenging than anything we did in the class.
Certainly not one of the most interesting courses at UNC, but Dr. Parikh made it great. This class focused on a semester-long group project with 2 quizzes throughout. Extremely manageable. This was my second class with her and she was still an amazing professor. I recommend her courses to anyone.
Her lectures are can be boring/redundant but she is always there if you need extra help on the material/research paper. Class is easy as most of your grade is a semester-long project divided into small due dates throughout the semester, the learning checks/final exams are open-note, and 1/3 class are project workdays. Highly recommend taking her!
This class was fairly easy, and prof P's very kind and cool! Make sure to keep up with assignments and poll ev participation! Grading may seem a bit rough at fist, but just incorporate feedback into the final project! Provided example assignments help too! Learning checks were not bad as long as you study the notes! Extra credit was given at end!
Love Prof Parikh!! She really cares about her students learning the material and actually getting something from the class. Just do poll ev's and she has zoom options. Pick a good group and you'll be set. Lots of good feedback and easy to get help. Take classes with Prof Parikh. (Also had her for 220 and she was equally amazing)
I loved Prof Parikh! Her class was very accessible (offered zoom) and she was such an amazing person overall. Very understanding of personal situations, passionate about the work, caring towards her students. Definitely recommend taking a class with her. One assignment due a week, very manageable.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Parikh, she is such a great professor and person! Her lectures are very engaging and she is very kind about deadlines. Her class was also super accessible, as she had a Zoom link up for every class in case anyone had to miss it in person. If you have the chance to take any psyc. class with Dr. Parikh, DO IT!
Professor Parikh is amazing. I recommend taking any of her classes. There are 10 assignments and 5 quizzes, I believe, which are easy. The midterm was tough, and the Final was harder, but not impossible. She also allows for extra credit and she is always there in class or in office hours to be able to help if you are confused. Use your resources.
parikh is very caring and easily accessible! she really just wants everyone to understand the material and succeed. she gives notice of upcoming assignments, quizzes, etc. way ahead of time and it is easy to fit the amount of work she gives into a weekly schedule. it is not exhaustive and adds to your understanding. also extra credit things too!
Prof P is a gem at UNC. Her classes are insanely easy and I didn't go to class except for FDOC. She zooms her classes and does poll ev, so I just did them from home. Fridays also don't have poll ev's. 1 weekly assignment that took about 1 hour and with the slides were easy. Exams are also take home. If you need a PSYC class, take Prof P!!!!!
There is a reason Professor Parikh has 5/5. She is awesome! There is one semester-long GROUP paper that you submit parts of along the way, so submitting at the end isn't too difficult or overwhelming, and you get feedback. All of her classes were zoomed and did poll ev, and every Friday the whole class was given to work with your group.
Take this class with Prof P! There are online video lectures before each class so you learn at your own pace. She ended class early on Thursdays to give us time to work on the assignments. There are weekly assignments, a few quizzes, and a take-home midterm and final. All quizzes and exams are open-note and online. Super easy and not a lot of work!
Does PollEV for attendance. Quizzes and Midterm are super easy, everything is online. Makes sure you never fail and can never get lower than 75 on the comprehension Q's. Some of the assignments can be hard but you are allowed to work in groups. Great professor and wants you to pass with an A and you will understand the material, if not you'll be ok
Loved this class, she is very kind and truly cares about her students. She is always offering help and making sure you are graded fairly. You get to select your group for the final paper and although it is really long it is split up throughout the semester so it doesn't feel too bad at the end.
Dr. Parikh is an amazing professor. She cares about her students and allows them to work on extra credit. In my opinion, the hardest item in her class is the final. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you do not go you might miss something very important. She also has review sessions that are very helpful. I would definitely take her class again.
Assignments in this class are kinda hard and the TA's grade very harshly depending on which one grades yours. Final exam was nearly impossible and brought a lot of people's grades down, did not match the energy of other quizzes or midterms in the class, the final was just unnecessarily hard
Really easy class if you are decently ok at stats. The assignments are written out step by step. She is extremely flexible and caring! The two lowest grades of everything were dropped (minus the exams), but we only had a midterm and final so it was worth it for sure. Recommend!
Dr. Parikh is a great professor, and she really wants her students to do well. This is not a difficult class as long as you attend class and watch the video lectures she posts online. She gives you time to work on the assignments in class and ask questions if you have any. Great class, but beware the final was extremely difficult for no reason.
I loved having Professor Parikh for this course! She is super understanding and gives the perfect amount of work that isn't too overwhelming. Attendance isn't mandatory and is done on PollEv, and there is a midterm and a final that are both open-note and moderate. Overall, I really enjoyed this class and loved having Parikh as my professor!!
Dr. Parikh is great. She teaches about the things that matter. It wasn't that hard of a class considering it was a stat class. I wouldn't say it should really be a psychology class, though. Either a stats or maybe ethics class, but it wasn't psych heavy at all. The software was super easy to use.
Overall a good mostly async class. We had a zoom call once a week, but attendance was not required, could be made up by watching and answering questions. Quizzes and tests were fairly easy, although final was a little more difficult than I thought it would be.
Parikh is great & cares about her students! The class is a lot of writing over the course of the semester, and you do your research in groups. As long as you pay attention & stay on top of things, you will love her!
Parikh's teaching style didn't come naturally to me, but I still enjoyed the class. She genuinely cares about her students and wants to get to know them. Sometimes I think she made things more complicated than they needed to be, and there are a lot of lectures (two 30-min videos a week along with the in-person class), but it was still pretty easy.
Nicest person I've ever met. Easy material and well explained. Midterm, quizzes, and final were online and open note with 2 attempts and your scores averaged. She's accessible and an engaging lecturer. She gives SO much extra credit. You could have a B and bring your grade to an A solely from extra credit. I can't recommend her enough! Easy A.
Parikh is genuinely one of the sweetest and smartest professors I know. She is very passionate about promoting equality. I have a ton of respect for her teaching style as well. The class is easy yet informative. She helps you learn the necessary information without making things unnecessarily difficult. Very understanding and empathetic
Prof Parikh is excellent. All tests are open-book, open-note, and take-home. Class never goes the full time. The problem is her IA's: a different one grades all your assignments so you never know what you're going to get.
Super clear grading and very supportive. All tests and quizzes are taken online and are open note. There are weekly assignments and she gives you time in class to do it with the help of her/TAs if you need it. Take 210 with her if you can!!
TAKE 210 W/ HER!!!!!!!! PLENTY of dropped grades, open note quizzes/tests (take home), and easy weekly assignments. I'm not a big stats person and I killed it. I adore her and she does this thing at the beginning of every class "does anyone have anything good to share" and it makes a big lecture hall feel a lot smaller! Love her! Take it!
Dr. Parikh was an awesome professor. There are online lectures to watch before class so the class itself never lasted longer than 30 minutes. Assignments were tricky and graded meticulously but nothing too hard. Probably the easiest class I've taken at UNC so far. Dr. Parikh was very knowledgable and passionate. Take her class!
This is a great class and Dr. Parikh made it very easy to get a good grade. There are weekly homework assignments that can be tricky, but there are plenty of opportunities to receive help. There is one midterm and a final exam that are both very straightforward.
This class was very easy, but you could also learn a lot about statistics. There is one midterm and a final that are both straightforward and very easy, all alone. The weekly homeworks do get hard overtime, but two of them are dropped along with extra credit at the end on the final. very easy class, best professor to take it with.
Pretty easy class especially if you put in effort. Assignments get trickier over time but quizzes and midterm are easy and straightforward. Final isn't super hard. Although attendance itself isn't taken, there are in class polleverywhere that count for part of the grade and using the piazza site. Extra credit is offered for the midterm and final.
She's so nice, the tests are take home, and you learn a lot.
Material is very digestible, and tests are take-home. Prof. Parikh does a great job at breaking the concepts down and she's very kind. Assignments are easy. If you've taken any sort of introductory stats clas before, this class will be a breeze.
Prof. Parikh is amazing at explaining concepts and incredibly kind. Quizzes and tests are online, and the coursework is pretty light. However, keep in mind that this class is just an introductory statistics class, basically none of it has to do with psych.
Prof Parikh is the sweetest and she genuinely cares about her students! She is always willing to answer any questions on the material and is super knowledgeable. All coursework is online and attendance is taken through in-class polls. Easy material if you've taken a statistics class and she provides plenty of resources to succeed.
Dr. Parikh has got to be the kindest soul on Earth. Her lectures are very straight forward and easy to understand, and she is also always willing to explain concepts that students may struggle with or answer questions. Please take her class, you won't regret it!
Dr. Parikh is literally an angel on earth. She's the nicest human and her lectures are very clear and concise. She gives A LOT of extra credit opportunities, her quizzes are two attempts online, midterm and final are online, and she finishes the lecture early if she's done teaching. Her TAs' feedback is also very helpful for assignments.
Prof Parikh is the best! She is so kind and always available to chat about course material during office hours. The class content is fairly digestible and there is time to ask questions and work on assignments during class. If you have taken stats before, this class will be easy! If not, you should still be just fine as long as you pay attention!
I loved Dr. Parikh! She is just the absolute sweetest and cares deeply about her students and their success. The class content was incredibly fair and applicable.
The TAs were a saving grace. The class is online and maybe because math is not required, it's hard to figure out what you're doing half the time. It felt very hand-holdy the entire time. Also the Piazza requirement was pretty annoying. Not my favorite way to take a class.
great professor, teaches well, quizzes are online, take home, open note. learned a lot, and grading is very fair. as a premed love the A in an intermediate psyc class for my gpa
Dr. Parikh is absolutely amazing. She is incredibly warm and encouraging, and made statistics fun! The class itself was very reasonable. All tests and quizzes were take home and open note, which helped me focus on actually applying/understanding the material. As someone who dislikes math, this class was great and convinced me to pursue research!
Great professor and great class! The class was mainly flipped, watching lecture videos at home and doing assignments in class which worked great for me. Professor Parikh is amazing at explaining concepts and clearly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. I definitely recommend her!
I'm convinced Dr. Parikh is the kindest person to ever grace the Earth with their presence. She begins every class by asking if anyone has good news to share, which is always a morale booster. She explains everything very well, and made what was seemingly a dry subject pretty interesting. The quizzes are easy, but make sure to study for the final!
Super interesting course structure, the lectures are recorded and you do outside of class, and you complete the homework in class, so that help is readily available. I loved her class because I learned a great deal from it without being constantly stressed. She is very sweet and I highly recommend her 210 course!
Super chill and sweet professor! I was scared about taking this class initially because I thought it would be super math heavy but it wasn't at all! The math was more conceptual and often didn't require many calculations! There were also a few extra credit opportunities throughout the semester!!!
Dr. Parikh was a very caring professor. Every first class of the week she asked if anyone had anything good to share. The assignments were completed in class and could be completed with peers. The lectures were videos that we watched before class. The exams were asynchronous. Overall, great course!
Typically has a video/quiz before each class, then in class reviews the material. She spends the last part of class as a work period for the lab/assignments. She and the TA's circle answering any questions. You have to do no math! It is an easy class with a caring professor. Final exam was application based and by far the hardest thing in the class
I love Prof P! She is the sweetest professor I've ever had and she makes class so enjoyable. The class structure consists of watching lectures online before class and then during class she reviews the more difficult concepts and does examples. All assessments are done outside of class, including the final. I could not recommend a professor more!!
For PSYC 535! Dr. Parikh is incredibly kind. First 1/2 semester is Python, then midterm, then second 1/2 in PsychoPy and R. Big partner project makes up a lot of your grade, but graded generously. Weekly homework assignments and attendance taken on "lab" days. She starts from the very basics and is very approachable + reachable in office hours.
Dr. Parikh was by far my favorite professor for Fall semester! She was very considerate in terms of helping with practice problems, questions on Jamovi Labs, and preparing you for the main exams! In addition, she offers a little bit of EC plus drops many of your lowest assignment grades, so getting an A is extremely doable. Highly Recommend!
Ever since I took 210 with her, I've looked to take other classes she teaches. She is amazing! She is so caring and her class is overall pretty easy! She cares about effort, not getting everything perfect! Take home exams, mostly homework and projects for grading.
Parikh is amazing! Over the semester, you will be writing/conducting a research paper. She breaks it down and gives good deadlines, but the UA's grade VERY tough. Grades do take a minute to get back, and you often get feedback for your ideas after you've already had to write/conduct it. Learning checks along the way are application based.
I LOVE Prof. Parikh, she is easily my favorite professor at UNC. This class focused on an overarching research paper, and every Friday was a work day without a lecture. I met with her multiple times to discuss the project in office hours, and she always seemed super excited to chat. Can't recommend her enough!!!
I love Dr. Parikh's teaching style and lectures. Her assignments are pretty straightforward and easy to get an A in. She is also very helpful outside of class. Tests are online and the only assignment that really matters is the research paper due at the end of the semester. 10/10 recommend her classes.
Amazing professor who clearly wants you to succeed. Class was structured around a semester long group research project. Online assessments and occasional worksheets were very manageable.
Dr. Parikh is an incredibly kind professor. I had her for both 210 & 270, and I had a good experience in both. She recognizes that students are people, too, and is willing to work with you. Content, expectations & grading are clear & fair. Grading issues (slow; subjective) were due to the IAs, & Dr. Parikh was willing to talk through any concerns.
The group project was very easy if you have good group members that actually do there part. Lectures were pretty boring and very redundant if you have already taken 210. She was super sweet and understanding. Also I wouldn't say participation matters a lot but she will have random assignments due that are completed in class.
Professor Parikh was very kind and always happy to help!
This was my second time taking Parikh. Both times, she was an amazing professor. She made information very accessible and easy to understand. Most of the work is a semester long group project so make sure you have a good group. Exams were fairly easy. I never had a good grasp on research until this class. Would for sure take again.
Great class overall to get the Research credit, but make sure you pair yourself with a good group. Collaboration and communication is key to doing well on research project. The exams are super easy and asynchronous. Assignments could be graded a little harshly, but in general if you follow the guidelines for the paper you will do well.
She is a great person! But on top of that this is the best class I have taken. The lectures are actually interesting and all test are take home and open note including the midterm and final. The only thing that you are not guaranteed to get an 100 on is the in class assignment but those don't really impact your grade. Take this easiest A.
super nice, class was rly easy, poll everywhere everyday, labs every week for completion, assignments every week for accuracy but super easy and using jamovi. take home quizzes, midterm and final. uses piazza for participation
Prof Parikh is a great professor! Her lectures are easy to understand, and the structure of the overall class is very organized. Quizzes and exams are take-home on Canvas, she gives us a lot of time in class to work on assignments, and is very accessible through Piazza. Take this class!!
She is so great! You have an online midterm, and some assignments but they are very easy and straightforward. I would 100% recommend taking this class with her.
Fantastic professor that truly cares, the work she assigns is very simple and can usually get done during class time. She provides so many sources to help, if you even need it because she is a fantastic teacher in the first place.
take this class! pollev in class, so attendence is required but u get 2 missed days. tests and quizzes are online at home. labs and assignments are once a week for accuracy. prof. parikh is a great instructor! i am taking another class with her next semester :)
Professor Parikh is really caring and sweet. In the class, there is weekly assignments and labs which are not hard at all to complete. And all the exams will be taken online. Easy class and the lecture could be a little be hard to concentrate.
Prof. Parikh is a great professor! 210 content was a bit dull just because it's statistics focused, but she made it as interesting as it can be. Easy A! Labs are automatic 100s as long as you try, and assignments are pretty easy. I liked how detailed instructions were provided. Overall, take it with Prof. Parikh.
Prof Parikh is a wonderful teacher! All assignments are online and take a short amount of time to complete, can finish in class with time to spare. Quizzes and exams are online, open note. She is very good at answering questions and will go out of her way to help your grade.
She was wonderful. The course was structured where you watch lectures before class and do some compression questions (but that should take about an hour at most). In class we do review, poll everywhere, and work on assignments, which is really nice because you can get a lot of help from both Dr Parikh and the ULAs/IAs. Overall a great course!!!
Genuinely easiest class if you just submit the assignments and do the pollev. She is super sweet and understanding so no worries taking this course with her.
The best professor ever. She is so understanding and welcoming to everyone. Work is not difficult because she posts in-depth explanations of content.
Amazing Professor! She made retaking stats an enjoyable experience. The one downside I had with her is that she often would respond to emails very late, and many times she wouldn't even respond. But, it was not an issue as she was very welcoming and always had time before or after class to speak. I would recommend taking a class with her!
AMAZING! A wonderful class with a wonderful professor, who gave great, informative, and USEFUL lectures that all of the quizzes/exams were based off of. Take this class if you have the opportunity!
