Do not take this professor. She is unclear, not understanding, doesn't respond to emails, and is all around horrible. Any english or writing class is better than hers. Avoid at all costs.

Professor is not clear and she has a bad grading rubric. Only makes you read about one religion book, correlated to Dalai Lama. Don't take her unless you want a failing grade.

Most unclear professor that I have ever had in my life, she never explains what she is actually looking for and because of her I hate the term "draw a map on what you read" (in her thick french accent). She goes off topic a lot and before you know it class is over and you are more confused than ever.

There is not enough space to say what is wrong with her -talk bad stuff about other students behind their backs -very strict with how on time assignments are -hard grader -often late/doesn't tell you when she is not going to class until the morning of (when you are there already) -unclear instructions, get offended when you say "YOU forgot to..."

she is a nice person, horrible professor. You will be completely lost in her class because she is not efficient with her time. She never teaches us exactly what we really need to know. Gives presentation assignments and due dates are 3 days later. she's disorganized, unreliable and never answered my emails. 20 question essay format exams in 1hr.

Shes a nice woman but a TERRIBLE professor. She has no empathy to students and thinks her class is the only class we have. Most students take 5 classes at a time and taking her class makes it impossible to give attention to the others. Her work is very unclear and she can be snarky. Please dont do this to yourself if you love yourself and GPA.

Were literally in a Global Pandemic and shes the only Prof who is constantly assigning work & is assigning more work on top of the work she already assigned. as people said, shes a nice person but a horrible professor so yeah dont do this to yourself. youre going to be lost and confused the entire time. tests are extremely hard, even though we had ours online. discussion board questions were a lot. its supposed to be a writing intensive, not reading. so much reading you dont have time for yourself

Absolutely worst Professor I encountered at QC. If I could rate her with all zeros I would. Goes off topic during lectures. Obsessed with making mind maps for every reading. Shows up late or not at all. Will try to embarrass you in front of others. Didnt care that we were in a pandemic. She was still loading us up with ridiculous assignments.

Never take this professors class, she says one thing and does another. Never keeps her word and is very unorganized. She may tell or make some rule for mind map in class but then will judge the students based on what impresses her and not what the mandatory rules were. Also if you are unlucky enough to take her class, get ready to do MINDMAPS.

Classes are disorganized, no clear direction on where each lecture is going, she will ramble on and on about the books we're reading, which I don't really mind that much, it just means more time goes by during class, and less time for us needed to answer questions about the books. she is a nice person, but also a terrible teacher.

This might be the first week but I regret choosing this professor, the syllabus was vague and she doesnt give proper instructions. I understand this is a short winter semester but the work load is too much for the tight deadline she gives. She gives so much work in so little time on top of that she expects A LOT from these papers . She only gives one hour on a "quiz" where you basically have to type up five essays. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR, I saw this on a comment before, I didn't listen and now I am paying the consequences . SAVE YOURSELF AND TAKE A DIFFERENT PROFESSOR

she does not care about her students. gives a ton of work and is not accessible outside of class unless you email her which takes long for her to respond. she gives discussion questions that have to be too specific that they have to be written as essays. the quizzes are 1 hour long with 5 essay questions. she is not a fair grader. 0/100 stay away

Honestly unless you have no life, and you are literally at home 24/7 for 3 weeks do not take this class. In a matter of one week, she makes you read 2 books (could be over 100+ pages) and for each book we had to write 3 lengthy (could be 4 pages depending on the topic) discussions for each then respond to 3 people for each discussion. horrible prof

Said that kids were threatening her when she confused the class and gave fs on the first assignment. Kids putting in work better than the examples she provided were getting low grades. when confronted, she turned tale and said that we should respect her because she has a lot of work on her hand. Do Not Do It! I am in my last semester at QC and a presidential scholar with a 3.9 gpa. I have never experienced a terrible professor such as this one. Everytime I think about the stress she caused me, my heart races. I've worked very hard and gave my all in every class that I've taken, including hers and then received a C. What a mess she was!

She treats this class like a level 300 class and although it's global literature, she grades so heavily on your ability to draw and is very picky. In addition, her directions are very unclear and she gives horrible feedback. Finally, even though she deals with mind maps so heavily, the guy who created mind maps doesn't live up to her expectations.

I have never hated a class like I hate this one. I made the huge mistake of not checking rate my professor before picking her class, it honestly sucks. you will have two or three assignments due every time class meets. no leniency like we're in a pandemic.

Honestly, if I could give her a 0 I would. She would give us assignments in class and say that she understands if we don't complete it. Yet I would send my unfinished work with the notes I took and get an F. Usually when a teacher gives feedback on work, you get a paragraph but with her you would be lucky to get more than 3 words paired with the F.

Worst professor period. Shouldn't even be teaching. She assigns you class work and doesn't give a thorough description of what she's looking for, and then when you try and submit, it's all Fs. Work load is not the problem. Very vague lectures, never really explains concepts from the readings and hands out Fs when even when you put in 120%. Fire her

Worst professor I've ever had. Insane amount of work. There's about 4 to 5 assignments due before each class and more assignments will be assigned and due in class that same day. Plus 2-3 assignments due on weekends. Grading is terrible. If a sentence of a paper isn't to her liking and the rest of the paper is perfect, you will get a 0.

This professor is just too vague in her expectation of the assignment. In our group chat, we find that almost the entire class received C and B on a mind map. But it wasn't because we didn't follow her instructions. But because she has instructions in her mind, that she for some reason never shared with us. Her lectures are all over the place.

Worst professor i've ever taken. Zero help or transparency, it was pretty much "here's the syllabus, Go!" My questions would go unanswered or too little, too late. I did 21 straight days worth of intense work with full time job and still somehow received a C-. Insane expectations regardless of 3 week course with zero understanding or flexibility.

The professor has many problems like reaching out to her is email and she doesnt even responds. Her grading are terrible she never specific about what she wants you to work. Mind mapping is another thing. I wish I had check her rating before I made my schedule. She is the worst and not an understanding person. I wouldnt recommend her.

VERY RUDE AND DISREGARD ANY STUDENT CONCERNS. never responds to emails. VERY unorganized. Gives out lots of group projects to be done in class within 20 minutes and requires presenting every project. One of the worst prfessors i had at QC. Literally gives readings every single week of like 100+ pages and need you to take notes from them. Also never responds to emails.

My experience has been abysmal. This professor never responds to emails, so it's crucial to communicate anything to her after class. Even then, she won't be understanding if you're having problems with the work or ask for extensions. Speaking of which, she assigns so much work and there's been instances where she assigned essays last minute.

DON'T TAKE HER! lots of homework every week. I'm not majoring in writing. I don't understand why I waste so much time other than my major. If I am majoring in literature, I have nothing to say about the amount of homework and reading. This useless class almost takes up my time to study the class that are really important to me.

Professor Fouyer's class was an absolute nightmare. Just horrible. She is so rude in class, but pretends to be nice over emails, she never listens to her students, and she grades so unreasonably. No wonder why ALL her students have horrible grades. I genuinely think she feels some type of pleasure from seeing students struggle and fail

Dropped this class but want to warn others. Three portfolios due throughout the semester with 10 page essays each time, in addition to journal entries after every class (1-2 pages). Not really worth it and seems really hard to get an A.

She will embarrass you during class if you say the wrong answer, hardly ever talks about the actual content, brutally critiques your work in front of the class, and is just mean. To top it off she gives a lot of homework with little time to complete. DONT TAKE HER. YOU WILL REGRET IT. 0/5 stars.

The worst professor I have taken at Queens college. Took her class in winter and almost always assigns 2 to 3 assignments seven days a week. 100+ pages of reading per week. no late work accepted, her syllabus extremely vague. Grades unfairly and gives 0 feedback. I spent 3 hours at my computer every night on her class and barely passed with a C-.

Please do not take this professor under any circumstances. She is the epitome of an evil person. No matter how good your paper is, she will not hesitate to give you a grade much lower than your deserve. What is more, she is very rude. Anything you could possibly say will be dismissed as wrong. DO NOT TAKE HER. Heed my advice.

This is an into class, this professor grades the student's work like it isn't. She's an extremely harsh grader and will provide mosthly B - C grades for even the highest effort and quality of work. This class is not worth it and this professor will definitely give you mediocre grades for all of your work.

Harsh grader, attitudes when students don't understand the material, no clear instructions, and a ton of work for an intro class. You're basically are never gonna have much free time available if you're taking this class. I can speak for everyone and say there are better professors out there for this class if you really want to take this course.

this professor is absolutely unbearable. she is terrible at giving instructions and is not clear on what she is looking for in any of her assignments. she is an extremely tough grader and will give bad grades on work that deserves more. you will spend HOURS reading and taking notes just for her to give you an undeserved bad grade.

She will give you 3 papers and 2 presentations in class, as well as a final paper and lots of books to read. There is homework (discussion boards) before and after class, so there is homework every day. You need to make sure you take notes in class, she will check them.

Worst professor in the world!!! She has a personal vendetta against students, she makes sure students suffer through the class with her boring and unprepared lectures. The amount of homework she assigns is baffling for a 100-level course in addition to the harsh grading. You will be lucky if you receive a C or higher for any assignment. STAY AWAY!!

She pretends to take participation points into account but I guess her dementia acts up and she'll forget if you participated a lot in class and then comment about how no one is participating. Honestly someone fire her or take away her teaching license because she should not be teaching students when she lacks knowledge herself.

anyone who wants to take her class, only do it if u have 0 other options. she is the worst professor i have come across as a 4th year student. hw is EVERY single day, 6 term papers, and 30-50 pages of reading per class. not to mention, u have to take notes of her rambling and submit them. we began as 25+ students, at the end only 7 remained.

Had to drop this class mid semester, gives you 10minutes to create a presentation and the highest grade you'll only get is a C, would assign hundreds on top of hundreds of pages only to spend a day on it. She gives ulitmately no VALUBLE FEEDBACK, will just tell you to refer to the syllabus (which isn't descriptive at all). VERY RUDE. Barely passed, DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE.

Top 5 worst professors at QC ...just absolutely terrible, lacks organizational skills, lacks the ability to communicate what is required/how she wants assignments done. Tough grader and unreasonably so considering the fact that she does not explain the assignments well....This class is an absolute headache. Not worth the stress.

She is the worst professor I have ever had at QC. She does not make what she wants clear and grades harshly. She spent an entire lecture telling us how poor our work was when the instructions were no more than 5 words long. When we tried asking her questions she told us no and to wait until the end then left before we could. Please save urself.

Avoid this professor at all costs. She's an incredibly harsh grader and assigns tons of work for an intro class. unstuck ai and other study tools may help, but this class is best skipped.

She is an inconsistent grader. As well, she makes you write on paper for most in class assignments. Try and not take this class you will thank me later.
