She is a great teacher. She does a lot of group participation activities that might help you learn along the way. Her tests are pretty much what was covered in class if you read your powerpoints or even pay attention in class you will pass. She's really good!

the class was tough and i did not like the grading format of 4 tests and a couple learning tasks, however she is a very nice teacher who wants the best for her students

This Professor is one of the best teachers I have ever had!! Yes you read the chapter & then she goes over on powerpoint to make sure you understand & know what is important. Like a good teacher does! Group activities are very helpful to make you understand & makes class not boring. Show up & pay attention & you'll get an A. It's as simple as that!

This class was easy for me, because I have had experience with other psychology classes. Dr. Franco is very nice, gives out some extra credit on tests. Just pay attention to the powerpoint slides, take notes, be involved in the class lectures! There were only three tests, and the "final" we had an option of opting out , take her class, easy A or B.

She's a really good teacher, also very fair. She makes sure you know what will be on the exam. If you take her open college course the best way to study is by doing the learnign curves until you know them 100% I did that and got an A on both exams without reading the book!

Dr. Franco is amazing she made the class so interesting and alive. You have learning tasks and online quizzes which are super easy and some you might see on exams. For exams you really need to study and if you have any questions you can email her or go to her office she is always willing and happy to help. She was honestly my favorite teacher.

Super nice teacher she makes the class somewhat interesting since her class is a student led class with the discussions. our midterm was about fifty questions I didn't study at all I crammed for about two hours and got a 79 so you can kinda see where im going with it. must read the text though and psychportal is a must if you wanna pass

It really was a pleasure taking her class. She is professional, engaged in the material and provides you with the tools you need to succeed through lessons and homework. It is a writing credit course, so expect some writing assignments. She made the class interesting and I feel that she explains things perfectly well. Great professor overall.

This lovely professor was the sweetest. She tried her best to make sure every student knew the materials for each class lesson. I enjoyed seeing her every morning and making her day with my morning greetings. I would recommend her to other students. Just like every other professor, the class is easy as long as you pay attention and do your work.

The only issue I have she doesn't give us a study guide for our final exam I really feel that's stupid we have other classes to study and she thinks that everything that she taught us would stay in our minds she's a good teacher don't get me wrong the thing is I have 4 classes and I need a study guide if I fail I will blame her

Having her as my professor really made the class more interesting. There are a lot of class discussions. There's quite a lot of group work. Participation is a must. Really connects with her students. I took this class as an 8 week course so there was a lot of online work/tests but easy if you study & read the textbook. Overall great teacher :-)

Dr. Franco is an amazing teacher and she makes the class super easy. She gives lots of extra credit and all tests are online and answers can be googled. The final exam was hard but by some miracle I passed with a 90. As long as u go to class and try and talk to her you'll pass.

Dr. Franco is an excellent professor for blended courses. When you come to class, you participate in activities that help you learn the material. The journals are also very helpful. The midterm and final are from the class notes. Show up to class and pay attention. There is a simple group project. Read the textbook. She is so helpful.

Genuinely cares about her students and makes the extra time to spend with you if needed. Some online assignments, a group project, and a few in-class exams but none of it is rocket science. This was my first semester at BC and I was super nervous taking her class. I thought I was gonna either pass this class with a C or fail. But I was wrong, I passed her class with an A. She is THE BEST professor anyone could have. She is very supportive and very helpful. Just do her work and pay attention to the her lectures and you'll pass easily

Dr. Franco was very nice to work with in PSY2012. She's very helpful, caring, and interactive with her class. There were a few critical thinking analyses, online quizzes, and a final. The semester I took her, our final exam we were paired up with a partner, did the exam alone then compared answers with our partner. It was cool. I received an A in the class.

Dr. Franco helped me understand and love research. It is her passion and if you plan on graduating with a Psych degree, you NEED to know this stuff. She gets excited when students WANT to learn and will do anything in her power to help you succeed. Other students that graded her poorly, clearly do not care about getting a great college education.

The professor makes it clear why we do the assignments and she makes sure the material applies to my life. I am so glad I took this class because it will help me with my career working with children. Don't take this class if you don't like to work. The class goes very fast and the online assignments are worth half of your grade.

If you are looking for a blended class this is the class for you. A lot of the work is done online and it is fast paced because it's only 8 weeks. Group discussions and activities and in class writing are very helpful. There are easy reading quizzes. If you want someone to lecture to you, don't take this class. You have to be motivated to learn.

Amazing Professor!! you are not just a number you are an individual that she cares about and if you EVER need assistance she is there to help. She respects the fact that you the the time to come see her and that you try! HOWEVER! this is an accelerated course and it is demanding. If you are looking for an "easy class" don't count on this one.

Fun to go to, and I've never been more inspired to learn. If you put in effort, you'll do great. When I first took this class I heard about how fast paced it was and how much work you had to do, I was nervous. Dr. Franco was the most understanding professor I've ever had. I enjoyed being challenged to participate in discussions and listening to her stories that related to the topics we were learning. She has one of the best teaching styles!

The most life-changing professor! If you want to be excited to LEARN, take her class. Put effort and participate! She loves to hear opinions and base her teaching style off of what the students need. Everything is interactive and meant to improve you. We worked in groups, had a guest speaker, and even went out into the field. She deserves a 5!

Hey! This course is blended so half of your class will be online and then the other half in person with her. She is an amazing professor, such a an amazing spirit, she's the type a professor that wants you to get the most out of your learning.

Dr. Franco is one of my favorite professors to date. It is a blended course so there is some reading and HW before class, but it is very manageable. She makes sure class time is engaging and meaningful so it is worth your time. You learn so much about topics applicable to our real lives. I loved Professor Franco. We had to switch to virtual learning due to the pandemic and she did so seamlessly and with great empathy for her students. She didn't bother dragging out our virtual meetings and allowed us to use that time to do our assignments. Class discussions were engaging and welcoming. She communicates well and offers resources.

By far, one of the best classes Ive ever taken! Shes so great and understanding. She does everything to help her students achieve their highest potential. She is always available outside of class and is always ready to help you. She was very understanding towards the pandemic easy assignments, easy quizzes, no tests, and an easy final project.

Nathalie Franco is the most inspiring teacher I've had at BC. She is so motivating and loves to get to know her students! I loved how involved she is with creating and maintaining a sense of community even through zoom. She also is heavily involved in the Psychology honors society. Dr. Franco's class was pretty easy and prior knowledge makes it easier. Dr. Franco was very kind and understanding. For example, if you missed an assignment you could make it up if you have an explanation. The textbook is online and she uses a platform called Slack to communicate with you. Slack is easy to use and you get to collaborate with peers.

She's a good professor, very long lectures, they are boring though, when took her she did not have a final exam...for the final exam we had to write paper about what we learned in her class. She was so nice give great feedback on assignments and pointed you to resources to help. You need the textbook, because that's where the HW is.

She is so caring, and loves all of her students/job. She gives you a calandar in the beginning of the year so you already know what to expect the rest of the semester and we have an ebook that has assignemnts due everyweek. You just need to keep track of that and you will get a good grade. I would take this class again and I loved the Professor.

Don't take this class if you are not willing to put in the time. You will have around 5 homework assignments each week. You will have to go to class in order to receive participation points. She is otherwise amazing and genuinely respects and cares for each and every student.

Dr. Franco is very kind caring and understanding. You will not regret taking her class. There are weekly assignments on launchpad but not hard if you read the material. She is big on class participation but she made me feel very comfortable to speak up during class. I would highly recommend to anyone interested. Show up and do the work you'll pass.
