He was a decent professor. This semester was his first teaching Physics 1, so we were his "guinea pigs". I would say that was frustrating, but he knows his stuff. The only thing I would complain about is that he still seems to be teaching for himself, like he's still in an upper-graduate environment. But he's very helpful, and he tries very hard.

Great professor, very helpful. It is important to do your homework and pay attention to the example problems in class. He is concerned about his clarity and will re-explain so the class fully understands. He is also available outside class for help when needed, and it is needed.

He is very disorganized. Talks really fast and has lots of slides that he jumps thru. He does let you out early after lectures and labs (2hrs max) Test come straight from homework questions(he gives you solutions too)and from PRS class questions. He does grade on a curve. Kinda iffy as to the curve. Its a hard but he does try to help you.

He is a great teacher. Does alot of demos to go along with lecture. Labs are so fun! We usually got out of class early, and after class, he would stay to answer homework questions. The material was not too hard either.

He was very helpful, stayed late and help with homework questions. Gave you the answers to HW. Tests weren't too hard. Did grading curve so that people with 80's got A's. Pay attention to class lectures, tests come from them. Pretty friendly. Labs are really fun. Helps you learn new things. Felt like I accomplished something after class

7 questions per test. Need to do the example problems. Partial credit. Long class period. Fairly helpful. Not much class discussion. Do homework before review class to have questions ready. Re-write notes to get a better understanding. Overall, semi-fun class.

Yes, he is easy, Yes he grades on a curve. But EXTREMELYYY disorganized. He will leave class for 15 minutes to get materials for labs. When you ask for help with labs, he has to read the lab because he admits he does not even know what you are doing for the lab. Never has enough materials for labs. Homework over 100 questions for 40? test

He's smart but his teaching is mediocre. Gives tons of hw 50+ per chapter. Gives many ways of solving problems instead of concentrating on a particular strategy, kinda like the karate kid that learned 1000 kicks vs the karate kid that practiced 1 kick a 1000 times?its useless learning all those different methods, he should concentrate on the basic

Dr B is one of the best. I'm not aware of any notecards he allowed us to use but he is a top notch professor. I studied hard, read the book, did the problems, re-did the problems the night before the test and I aced most of his exams. He HW is a definitely must. I ended up tutoring unofficially for Physics now and I attribute that to Dr B. A+

He is nice, but doesn't answer questions very well. He is unorganized too! Join a study group and stay on top of things! Thankfully, his grading curve will help your grade some.

Nice guy and kinda cute but too intelligent to answer questions at this level. Goes very fast, loads of homework. Print power points to make notes on in class. No longer allows note cards. Grading curve helps but study, study, study. Our study group of 5-7 was the only reason I got my A. We figured it out together.

He says all you have to do to prepare for test is do the HW but thats not true. must attend class and view PP.

Difficult but a good professor. Do ALL the homework and you will succeed. Unfortunately this means a LOT of work. He is very good at explaining things you don't understand, and his office hours are very helpful. He is also very lenient and curves the grade 10 points (ie: an A is 80 and above)

He is a great teacher. He knows his stuff inside and out and does a great job at getting the students intrigued. He tests you to make sure u understand the concepts, so it's not too difficult. You learn stuff that u will likely remember after the class is over. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to take this course. :)

An excellent professor. He is friendly, and very passionate about physics. His in class demonstrations are a lot of fun and his lectures are conversational and easy to grasp. My only grievance was there was a lot of homework, but it helps to learn the material. I wish I could take him again, he also curves the grade pretty generously so that helps.

He is a very nice professor, however, I haven't coined whether he cares or not about teaching. He is unorganized at times. And tends to skip sections here and there, which often confuses you about what you should or shouldn't study. Tests aren't too bad, decent curve. Often find yourself teaching yourself new material. Overall decent professor.

Very nice guy. Physics in general is hard so expect to put in the time. Difficult-ish tests but fair final. In class handouts are more representative of the tests than the homework is. >85% is an A. Only so much material can be covered in class so find a good YouTube channel to fill in the gaps.

Worst professor ever. If you love teaching your self things you've never seen before in your life, go ahead and take this class. All you will be doing is learning things from Youtube. His tests do not represent homework or his handouts given in class. He curves the grade but it doesn't help when you're already failing. Students went from 20 to 5.

This professor has been the worst I've taken. His classes consist of giving you an exercise and letting you struggle for 20 minutes. if you ask for help, he says "ask your neighbor". My neighbors doesn't know either! Then he solves it in 3 and skips over important parts by saying "oh this is just algebra and trig" If you want good grades, dont take

Avoid this teacher if you can! His tests were very hard, but our class did have a 10 point curve (80% was an A). Our class went from 25 students to 9. His lectures were sometimes confusing. I would only suggest this class to people with very strong physics backgrounds.

Do not take his class! I took this class expecting the teacher to be able to explain to me how to do certain problems I didn't understand. Basically, you're on you OWN!

Honestly i don't even know how he is even teaching at college because of his class having the highest failing grade. Great class! but need lots of time outside of class to pass. He expects you to spend lots of time on homework. Just showing up without a lot of study time after class won't get you to pass. Most people that dropped had jobs with too many hours per week with too many classes, etc. The class meets 6 hours a week, but need 15 hours a week to study!
