Highly recommend! I suck at math and he not only helped me with my math between classes, but he also helped me with my test stress. If you don't understand one way, he will twist the problem around and explain it in a different way until you get it. Tests and homework were not excessive and very covered in class. Great teacher! I am horrible at math. I have never had a better math instructor at Delta. Nate will help you however he can, you have to be willing to work hard though. By no means is it an easy class but if you are willing to try hard youll do fine. Doesnt move too fast and wants everyone to understand. Excellent!!

Excellent teacher! hated math since taking him I have had him for 2 classes and plan on taking rest of the math I need though his teaching. Breaks everything down simple-stupid and helps everyone, and believes in everyone. Not hard nosed very comical but in the best way it helps you learn so much easier and remember so much more. If you ever wanted math to make 100 percent sense to you. Then this man will do the trick, he is a very humble, down to earth man, who understands excatly what a college student has to go threw, if your having to much work on your hands, he will relax it on you and will give you extra time to turn it in without it being late. And he blows me away.

This course is expected to be challenging. Blecke does an excellent job at explaining things. Very good professor. Tests aren't hard as long as you do the review. Do the homework and you'll be fine.

He's a good teacher, with a lot of funny stories. Flexible in turning in homework and is overall very clear. There was a new book starting this semester which made it difficult on everyone, but he adapted partway through and tried to make things as clear as possible. I wish I would've taken him for my other math classes.

He is hands down, the best teacher I've had so far in college. He has a great sense of humor, which makes learning so much easier and more fun. Plus, he always makes sure that everyone in the class is clear on what we've learned, before he moves forward on a subject.

Nate is a great instructor, he really knows his stuff and is tons of fun, he loves the Simpson's and Monty Python. There are daily homework assignments and he also assigns projects, but they aren't too bad. Success depends on your being there to be instructed. Familiarize yourself with your graphing calc. before class, it will help alot.

I took him for both 097 and 119 and he was really great. He used a lot of different associations such as "sloppy sandwich" and "Chiquita banana" to help you remember how to solve problems and I'm still able to solve math problems just by saying Chiquita banana lol.

Nathan is an awesome teacher had him for 119 and 208. He makes class very enjoyable, telling extremely weird stories and referencing movies. He is also extremely helpful he will explain the same thing over 5 different ways if he has to just so you can get it

I had Blecke for Trig and Stats. He is a very good teacher. He is very nice to students and he will go over something numerous times if students aren't understanding it. This is an especially nice attribute for Statistics.He is also very helpful during office hours.

Nate was the greatest math teacher I've ever had! I am not good at math, but he always took his time to make sure I had it down. He would go over anything multiple ways, with multiple stories and examples (and even different voices... ha ha). AWESOME teacher! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Awesome, he cares about students and will check up on you if you get a bad test score. I didn't do well with the class, but he went beyond expectation to help.Really cheesy jokes. Nate is a really good teacher! He is humorous, likes to tell stories and jokes, and relate them to math to keep it interesting. Subject isn't the easiest so I don't blame him for not getting an A, he took alot of time outside of class to help people. Very helpful teacher who will spend as much time as possible helping you outside of class.

His class is just so mank. Well just one of the cheesy jokes that are made out of an absurd number. He really helps though and if you dont get it he can usually relate it to a real life event for further clarity. Wish all my teachers were like this.

Uses MyMathLab for HW. Very easy going personality. Always has cheesy jokes. Truly cares about the success of his students, but often has meetings to attend. Tests are semi-difficult but rounds them a few points. Explains things how he learned them, which sometimes helps. Textbook is not necessary, but is a helpful tool.

His jokes early in the morning make everything worthwhile. They even help concepts stick in my mind. I highly recommend him for all math classes. He's simply wonderful.

Explained everything so well, it made concepts very clear. Will take lots of time with you during office hours if needed. Grades on a curve for tests, which can be helpful. Lots of jokes/stories and that can help you remember concepts.

Good teacher, 60% of grade is exams. Lets you turn in work whenever you finish it without getting points taken off. I never took trig before, so he went a little too fast for me. But was very helpful and wants people to understand it. He doesn't get mad when you ask questions he will go over everything until everyone get it. I would take him again!

I was scared to take statistics but Nate does such a great job teaching and taking it down to our level. He's funny and has lots of jokes and accents ha. I would definitely take him again. Practice tests really help. Homework can be turned in whenever without points taken off, but it is smart to turn it in on time so you can ask questions

He was a really cool teacher. He was laid back but at the same time made sure you were learning. If anyone had a question he would attend to it. Also very laid back about homework. There was no deadlines for worksheets so you could turn them in when you were ready. Also makes math very easy to learn for those who struggle.

I had him for Calculus 1 and even though the coursework was pretty difficult and the homework seemed to go on forever he was an excellent teacher. He is very understanding and a professional dad joke comedian.

Nate is a great guy. I was worried about taking stats online, but he made it a breeze. He explained everything through posts that he uploaded onto the online teaching base, and through class discussions, we were able to have a real classroom setting. I would definitely take his class again if I had to. He is also very approachable, which helped me.

I received a lot of homework in this class, which was the hardest part of the course. Homework on MyMathLab was terrible. Nate however, was a great professor who really cares about his students.

Nate was highly recommended by my mates. I couldn't take his online class as it was inconvenient for me. Professor Blecke is awesome! 2 out of the 4 test are open notes and open book and the other 2 tests he lets you use a 5x8 note-card. There is a lot of online homework but it's not very difficult, just time consuming. He responds to emails promptly and is very helpful. He is very lenient with makeup tests. I would definitely recommend taking him!

I loved Nate's way of teaching the material. He would give us a lecture, then send us to the board to practice the math we had just learned. I would definitely take another one of his classes.

I'm a career student and by far he's the best instructor I've ever had. Teaching techniques are great and really stick. The homework is tideous but overall it's doable. I'd take again and suggest this professsor for any math section that he teaches. And the corny jokes are a perk to the class!

Cares if you learn. Assigns homework that will spark questions so they can be answered before tested. If you don't understand a topic, he will explain it in different ways until you get it which helps a lot. He explains the kinds of problems he will put on the test so you can study those types of problems before hand. Overall would recommend.

Nate is a great, caring professor. I failed Statistics because I didn't seek the help I needed, even though he offered it. I wouldn't recommend taking this course online unless you're very proficient in maths. I got A's on all of the homework, but bombed both the midterm and final exams.

Nate is a great professor. . He does a lot of group work at the boards, which is helpful. If you ask to receive some points on class work, he is always up for it. His tests are sometimes difficult because he uses old material. If your final is better, he replaces it w/ the worse exam throughout the semester. There is a lot of homework assigned.

Professor Blecke is one of met favorite professors so far. He is very caring and wants everyone to be successful. The homework on my MyMAthITlab can be studious but it is doable. Nate's class was okay. He is very all over the place, and thankfully I have had stats before. If I had not taken stats in high school, I would've been all over the place.

I liked Nate, but I am also really good at math. I can see how someone who doesn't remember or retain certain math concepts would struggle in this class because there is prior information that is expected that the student knows. He made jokes, many math teachers dont. There was homework every night but i could usually get it done in class.

Nate genuinely cares about his students passing, he gives thorough lectures and makes sure everyone is following along. He moves pretty fast but the homework helps you stay up to date.

Nathan is an awesome math teacher. If you don't understand a problem, he will think of any way possible to make it easy for you to understand. He also gives you partial credit on a test, if you understand the processes, but make silly errors, e.g. dropping a negative.

Statistics is the most difficult class I have taken. Mr. Blecke made things make sense, he was always available by text & email. he genuinely cares if you learn or not! I did buy the textbook but it is available online for free, and I never even used it. He does homework through knewton, and uploads lectures with bongo and youtube.

I think Mr. Blecke is a great professor. He really cares about his students and is very accessible outside of class. Since it was online, a lot of this class was self-taught. I think he needs to update his lecture materials to be more up to date with the current textbook/website he is using for assignments. Overall would recommend taking him.

Nathan has a very good teaching style along with his humor. be prepared to hear his many different stories and jokes that makes the class even more interesting. he uses real life examples and has a way of being able to see when something is bugging a student and tries his best to break down material and problems to understand.

The material for me was hard to learn online, but he has video lectures out for each week. He does care if his students learn the material, and is available by phone/text. This class is not too difficult, I would highly recommend going to every class and taking lots of notes. Nate is very understanding and willing to help if you have questions. This class was very informative and easy to follow. The workload was manageable and although the test format was a little strange, I think it was a decent way to prevent academic dishonesty.
