Clear outlines of English 1010 and 2010. Good sense of humor, willing to work with your difficulties, but makes you think and work hard.

Good instructor overall; however sometimes he would waste time in class. He is strict on grading, and prefers a liberal argument (typical college professor).

He was late to class most of the time and didn't say anything when he came in. He usually took 10-15 min. after arriving late to set up his computer. Excellent teacher, willing to help if you ask. I would take a class from him again.

His jokes were often lame, but made the class somewhat entertaining. It took about 4-5 hours of homework a week. A lot of students complained about him, but I had no problem receiving an "A". The textbook was necessary for assignments. He does expect you to read from it, but if you don't you'll be alright.

Do assignments have him look at your papers and then fix them. I have had him twice and I would take him again. Very smart.

This class was demanding and required me to think and work hard, but I LEARNED to write. Nathan is very approachable and is willing to help.

He's so fun, easy to talk to and very approachable. He's not so clear about his assignments, however. You feel lost a lot, but he's more than willing to talk to you and make sure you understand it. He grades HARD, but you do learn a lot.

Class wasn't hard. Just do the work assigned. Cole will help you if you need help. Very helpful.

Great teacher and very easy. Do the work and you get an A. Talks very soft so just pick a seat in the front. Very nice and helpful.

I didn't care much for this professor. While he is fair, lecture can be very boring and his deadlines are a bit unrealistic. He is somewhat disorganized and tends to ramble. However, he is very helpful and will give you as much of his time as you need. Overall though, I wouldn't recommend him.

This is not an easy class by any means but if you stick to the course sylabus and read the chapters you will do great. He goes over everything you need to know and posts examples as well. Don't try and skim by doing the basics because you will not be happy with your scores. Take your time and put good detail into your papers.

He was a good teacher, interesting classes, hard grader, he actually reads your papers, but he gives great advice to improve them. At times things were unclear, but when I asked he clarified everything. Just speak up and it's a fun class. I learned a lot!

I really liked nathan. He is very willing to work with you on schedules. My son was sick for a week and he was very understanding and helpful. Kind of a hard class and a lot of writing. I would definitely take him again

Prof Cole is monotone. We had a couple of talkative people and goofballs, but he seemed to enjoy them. As long as you are respectful. he's patient. His grading is hard, but in the end, your group presentation is graded off your peers review. This is a hard class, but good, as long as your classmates are fun like mine were. good luck.

He is a great teacher. Even though this semester has been rough on him because of family issues, he still tries to be available for all of his students. You don't need to use the book but use the resources he gives you. He is funny but he talks quietly so either you miss the punchline or something important. I recommend this professor.

He is BORING!! I seriously didn't understand him in class so i had to talk to him after class. He helps you a lot then. I got an A but thank goodness i don't have another English class to take.

I liked him. He was very helpful. He gave me 100% of attendance even though I missed a few times. He did cancel class quite often but he had family issues which I understand. You just do the assignments and if you follow them and turn things in you will be fine. I ended up getting an A- even though my writing isn't the best. i recommend!

Nate's very boring to listen to, but I actually learned a lot from taking his class. He's more helpful to you outside of class, but you have to set up the time to meet him. Don't expect to get a short answer from him, they're always long and overly strung out. You'll learn a lot from him though. Constant writing and exercises.

Nathan is a really nice professor, although the class is a little boring. He explains assignments pretty well. He is very helpful if you need to talk to him outside of class or if you want him to go over your papers, which helped a lot. It does take a long time to get papers back though; I'm sure because he has so many classes. Recommend though!

This was the most confusing class I've ever taken. He is so soft-spoken and monotone that it is difficult to understand what he's talking about. He posted the wrong calendar and then posted multiple updates, which threw off the entire class. He does not post assignments in an organized manner, and it's hard to tell what is due and when! Hated it.

Nathan is slow at grading but gives great feedback. He is willing to review your paper before its due and give you pointers on how to improve. He gives examples of every paper and that helped a lot. He also is flexible on due dates as long as you talk to him. I would use him again and I recommend reviewing papers with him before turning them in.

Nate is a great professor. He's very nice and wants the best for his students. He does take a long time to grade (waited until after grading day to grade even one assignment) so it's hard to tell where you're at, but I was happy to see that he's an easy grader. Learned a lot, would definitely take again. :)

Attendance is mandatory but he gives leeway. I missed 5 or 6 classes and I still got 100% for attendance. He does take a while to grade, but as long as you complete everything from the rubric (which is always clear, as he discusses it multiple times before due date), there's no need to worry about grade. Only used textbook 3 or 4 times. An easy A.

Very invested in his students. He loves what he does and makes the material fun and class enjoyable. I had the pleasure of taking both his English 1010 and 2010 classes. Loved them and learned a lot! Would recommend him to anyone!

I was nervous to take English 2010 since it had been awhile since I had a writing class, but the assignments are based off topics you truly care about and end up being worth it. He is invested in his class and wants you to get a good grade. I loved the lectures as well.

I see alot of people giving fairly low scores for this professor, but I had a great experience with him. We only had 5 or 6 writing assignments (5 pg+), all which were fairly easy for an English 2010 course. His lectures are boring but the class is a fairly easy A or B as long as you do the assignments.

This class is easy to pass if you just do the work on time and show up to the lectures. He does not put grades in canvas until the very end, but he is willing to tell you how you did or even look over your turned in work with you. He is a kind professor and is very understanding.

Nathan was a great professor, but his canvas page was so convoluted and clogged up from previous semesters that I didn't understand what was actually happening until about halfway through the semester. I would avoid taking his all-online class, but besides that he was great! Very informative and I learned a lot about Native American history!

He is really amazing and will give you until the end of semester to give all the late work in. He works on making sure you aren't stressed. Lots of homework though

I enjoyed this class. I thought he was a great professor! sometimes his class would be boring but you could tell he loved taking about english. i thought this was an easy A so i would recommend taking him
