Nathan is funny, has a well paced class, talks to everyone and is really helpful. I am a returning business student and was happy to learn some super helpful tricks, in excel, word, and listing resources in APA or MLA formatting easily. I have a MacBook and sometimes my system varies in teaching learning, he has no problem showing the difference.

Homework is pretty easy. Assignments done in class are a bit more difficult. If ever stuck professor is kind enough to help out. Just make sure to turn in assignments on time or else they will be graded at a much later time. He also gives a couple of easy extra credit assignments for a fair amount of points.

Professor Riggs is the best professor I've ever had for many reasons. He is a really easy going, caring, and very nice teacher that conveys the material very clearly. I appreciate how organized and straightforward this class has been. His passion in teaching is apparent and that's likely what makes this class interesting. I wish he taught math.

Mr.Riggs is a very cool, laid back teacher. His assignments are fairly easy as long as you literally just showed up to class. Almost always he would walk through assignments as a whole class and would help as needed. If he taught math, I definitely would take his class.

Professor Riggs is an awesome teacher! He is always willing to help and gives clear instructions! This is the easiest class that I have taken this semester. Professor Riggs makes it easy and very educational at the same time.

Helpful and friendly

Professor Riggs is a great teacher to take if you have to take a CIS class. Even though this topic might be on the boring side, he makes the class enjoyable and likes to hear from the students. The assignments can be a little complicated and challenging, but he is good on helping you just have to ask. Homework was assigned but not overwhelming.

Professor Riggs helps you walk through assignments in class step by step and does a thorough job of making sure everyone is caught up, and not getting left behind. He doesn't leave much up to interpretation and is usually pretty detailed in his instructions.

Pretty easy class going over the basics of how to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Detailed instructions for assignments and he answers any questions you may have.

Professor Riggs' CIS105 class is very straightforward if you attend class. He is always willing to help and explain things and allows time to work on assignments in class.

Very helpful and always good with communication

Professor Riggs provides an open learning environment for CIS105. He encourages students to speak up when they are not understanding material. One thing I enjoy about his class in particular is that he is incredibly receptive to feedback. Often he asks the class how assignments or quizzes felt and then makes adjustments based on the class feedback.

Professor Riggs is straightforward with his assignments and lectures. He goes of material and sometimes the material no longer works well, or our program doesn't have the exact same features. Either way, he is able to adapt and improvise to still get the lesson across. He can improve by grading faster.

He's a great professor, not too much work but they are meaningful. The one down side how long he takes to reply, but other than that simple class and not wasting time.

Professor Riggs displays great mannerisms within the classroom and is highly interactive with students. If you ask a lot of questions he is a patient teacher and will take time to explain the answer. Homework and assignments are easy if you read the material assigned.

The tasks can be dense but he does a great job explaining and gives plenty of time to finish. As long as you show up and ask questions you should do great!

Professor Riggs is super funny and tells cool life stories! He doesn't assign a lot of homework, we do most of our work in class and can work in a group for projects. Professor Riggs is a great instructor for CIS105. The class material isn't too hard to follow, and the grading is very clear and fair. He also offers extra credit opportunities, which really helps boost your grade if needed. Overall, a good professor who genuinely wants students to succeed.

Professor Riggs has been a great professor. He lists very clear expectations on assignments and projects. He allows you to work in groups and if you finish in class, then you're done with homework for the week. Our 3-hour classes just fly by because he keeps making small talk and cracking jokes.

This professor is great! Easy to understand and very helpful! His assignment instructions can be a little hard to understand but he gave extra credit for any mistakes in his writing. A very easy beginner friendly class for sure! Highly recommend!

Mr. Riggs was an awesome professor however the class was long and in person work during that time made it feel even longer, but Mr Riggs did help break up that feeling by being engaging and helpful during the work.

Mr. Riggs teaches the class well and answers any questions you may have. The class is not only easy, but teaches you some genuinely interesting things and all it requires is that you pay attention so you don't fall behind. Mr. Riggs is funny and helpful when it comes to questions, he sees what's wrong and immediately teaches you how to fix it.

Nice professor, some of the work is slightly challenging but he helps you through it. If you keep up with the work you'll be fine.

This class is a really easy A if you show up and do the work, he has lots of extra credit options so even if you were to miss an assignment you can easily make up the points. He is always happy to help and answer any questions you might have and keeps the class engaged. I would definitely take this class again.

Excellent professor with clear and straightforward instructions. While attendance wasn't mandatory, most of the work was completed during class, so I highly recommend attending regularly. He's very understanding and genuinely strives to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.

Not a particularly difficult class, especially if you keep up with the work. Homework is rare, as most assignments can be completed during class. If you don't manage to do so, there's plenty of time to get it done before the next class. Gives ample opportunity for extra credit. Always willing to help out if you've got questions or are struggling.

Good class to learn how to do different things on a computer. Some of the assignment are more computer based then iPad so there's some things your going to have to skip since iPad doesn't have the same technology as a computer.
