It's a busy course but not hard, cos you have do write assignments almost every week. But she makes it worth the while with cool biz topics & fun papers. And she helps you with cover letters & resumes! Worth the effort!!!

Since this is a required course, take Prof Mundi!!! You get to learn about what real world companies do & how to write up a killer cover letter!!!! She's really nice, helpful & keeps the class interesting! the marshall class is MUCH better than the other versions, too.

Take Ms Mundi's class!!! Awesome introduction to marketing and writing stuff. It's a lot of work, for sure, but she makes it interesting, since it's a required class. I like her vibe cos she really spends time with you to help you learn advanced writing for the real world. Great professor & cute, too!!!

Prof. Mundi is an amazing teacher. She really knows what she is talking about. If you talk to her and go to her office hours, I guarantee you will get a good grade and a better understanding of business writing. Take her class since its required - you will do your self a big favor.

Way better than some of the stuffy profs in Writ 340. Prolly cos' she's so damn young & fun. Class is lots of writing, but not hard. Just kind of time-consuming, really. No final exam,no book, & no boring papers. You learn alot of fun stuff of marketing, too. Group project was cool, too!!! Worth the 8am section & early mornings!!! Taker her!!!

Compared to other WRIT Professors, she makes you write. And I mean write your ass off. It's useful, sure, but it take a lot of time away from other classes. I wish she would just soften up some times. To get an A, you have to be a great write already, or some type of over achiever. Ugh. so much writing....

Liked the class way more than I thought I would. Prof Mundi makes it way more interesting. She's a smart cookie!!! Good tips for your résumé, too. I got a callback after fixing up my cover letter! You gotta keep up with the work, but its not hard to do that.

Keeps class interesting. Weekly papers are interesting & based on real life case studies. Better than a boring book. If you practice writing every week, you'll do fine. You get to choose your topics, which also makes it better. Easy to get an A if you get help from the Writing Center. Worth the time!

She's really nice and helpful. She's straightforward with you and wants to help her students. She wants to make the experience as painless as possible considering it is WRIT 340! But after the first few weeks of thinking you might hate her, you'll love her! She's nice and gets to the point. An excellent option for writ 340!

Like, like, like! It's easy if you follow the prompts. Don't buy the book, just grab an old copy. Fun cases & you get to pick your topics. Never boring. Pretty chill grader, too. Shes awesome!!! Take her cos' class is laid back with lots of useful information.

Good class. Easy papers. You get to choose your topics, too. I dropped from another Marshall version, but this was more managable with the time assignments load & time.

Very sweet professor for the class. She loves her students & is very passionate about teaching therefore lectures are interesting and go by quick. The group project is super fun! You won't need the book totally, but it's always in the library. You need to put in revising time, but otherwise, it's fairly easy.

Professor Mundi is a wonderful prof! The class was actually a pleasure. She's incredibly engaging & has a great sense of humor. The course itself is not very demanding; one paper a week based on cases, three research papers, & a fun group project (blogging). That's it. She's a fair grader & gives you good feedback that can use. Highly recommended.

Professor Mundi is my absolute favorite teacher I've had while at Marshall. She is really cool, and knows how to get a laugh out of her students. Her lessons are very clear and precise and most papers are easy enough. Her great sense of humor really made it more enjoyable while learning, as well as her great knowledge of the material.

Wonderful professor. If you have a decent ability to write you will pass. She makes the work easy but you will have to read cases & write almost every week. Group project is a break, which helps with the sked. Worth the effort, though if you plan on writing weekly & get help from the Writing Center!

Professor Mundi is very friendly, kind, and helpful. Instead of making you dislike writing, she makes the class fun by focusing on current news and trends, and by relating the material to us. You need to attend class, do your work, and work hard to get a good grade, but you definitely learn a lot and I saw my writing improve over the semester! :)

Professor Mundi makes you think outside the box and all her assignments allow you to choose a company/industry you are interested in, which is very helpful if you are preparing for a job interview. I did my Business Strategy Memo (assignment # 1) about the company I applied for and that was a perfect interview preparation. Go to writing centers!

Prof Mundi is an awesome professor! Lectures are mandatory but trust me, you will want to go to class! She explains everything really well & makes the 50 min class go by fast! I absolutely loved this class. There is a group project, which isn't a 40 pg paper (thank God). Highly Recommend!

Absolutely awesome. She is funny and makes marketing and writing interesting. You write more during the beginning of the semester but it isn't that much compared to other sections on you're at Marshall! Group project was pretty chill. She's really a nice prof and really helpful, too.

She's an amazing teacher. You will learn more than just writing. Super knowledgeable and experienced. Don't expect to BS a paper since they are very evidence and critical thinking based but will actually help a ton for your career. Always willing to help. You can use the book on reserve or in her mailbox (you'll only need it a couple times)

Professor Mundi is my favorite at USC. She is a lot of help in giving her feedback for your papers and is available for office hours and responds quickly to emails. She is also knowledgeable about many things in the business/corporate world so her inside information made her an even better professor. I would definitely take her again if I could.

Her pet peeve is coming to class unprepared & not doing papers needed to be done. Do your work & the points should add up. I have definitely learned to write better & learned a lot in from her in preparation for interviewing. She's an awesome teacher & is there to drive you to become better writers to survive through college & the workplace.

Wow! Hands down the BEST professor I have had, and this is my last semester at USC. She's so inspirational and makes you think about brands in a different way. She's funny and the work is manageable if you stay on top! She is understanding and helps you out with anything! I will forever remember this professor! She was AMAZING! TAKE HER!

Very helpful & went the extra mile to help students (even when the time was up). Encouraged student interactions & participation. Very personable & makes business writing far more interesting & less intimidating, which is what some students kind of find. Fair grader. Follow the lectures. Group project was way easier than other courses.

Lectures are very clear. You'll love her style (interesting!) if you're not into boring ppts. She expects participation as it is part of the grade, but it will help build your critical thinking & collaborative skills. Very professional & really wants you to do well. Overall, a great class, but you have to do your part in scoring that A grade.

The class wasn't too difficult during the semester. There were 3 major papers + a group project. Weekly assignments, but they're interesting & are meant to practice your writing. Practice, participation & re-writes are the key to an 'A'. But well worth the effort. Will help with cover letters right off the bat. Friendly & engaged prof, overall.

Dr. Mundi was and still is to this day one of my favorite professor's at Marshall! She is highly energetic in her lectures (never monotoned), the subject gets interesting, she teaches it well (very detailed & clear), & she runs the class well (good time management) You'll learn a lot & have a lot of fun in this class. Be prepared to write!

The most incredible professor I will probably ever have. She captures the room and is inspiring. She brings out the potential in all of her students and pushes you to become better in all the essays we wrote. I wish she taught every class I had to take, try your best to be in her class because she will change your mindset in every way.

By far my favorite professor at USC! She makes the class fun and engaging - with memos about Chris Brown and other current events. As well as, no lengthy 10-page paper! Instead, you can design your own corporate blog! She also gives you the option to pick your favorite papers for portfolio! So, you don't settle for a topic you don't like. :)

Great professor whose authenticity is visible throughout the class, and will do her best to help you succeed and learn. Quite a bit of work, but nothing impossible. As a non-marshall student, I learned a lot about business and the real world and improved my writing too, even though I was already a strong writer. Overall: recommended, 5/5.

This was a really fun class for me. It was mostly just 3 papers & some weekly assignments. She gave some really good lectures and I overall enjoyed the class. There is also a group project, which can bump your grade if you aren't a strong writer.

I honestly learned so much about how to be concise with my writing and effectively convey my message to my intended audience. I also loved that she incorporates her expertise in marketing and communications into the analyses of different case studies. Expect yourself to be challenged and grow your critical thinking skills.

By far my favorite professor I've had so far! She gave me a lot of inside advice about my industry and even helped me get contacts so I could start networking with possible employers. She was always interested in what I had to say and was invested in helping me achieve my future goals. Overall great fantastic with this professor!

Nothing neg. to say about her. Helpful, responds timely to emails. Was recommended to take her but a former student and I don't regret it one bit. One of the best Writ 340 prof. at USC. Research papers mostly. Listens to you, answers questions and helps you learn. Not an impossible workload. But you do improve your writing straight away.

Took the Marshall version and I don't regret it at all. A very engaging lecturer and encourages students to speak up in class, but doesn't put any pressure. Very smart, but doesn't feel overwhelming if you're new to business.

Made the course stuff very clear - a common sense approach to business writing and analysis. Seems to really care about each student. Good enthusiasm - made the lectures interesting and applicable to real life.

The class is more than usual writing classes that teach you how to write. More importantly, you will get lots of training on critical thinking in the business world. Also, the class is very friendly to international students and be ready to learn a lot!

Amazing prof!!! Very easy to comprehend, if you follow the prompts, she goes over it in a more clear way for you to fully understand. Papers aren't hard but they aren't super easy. Plan on 2-3 hrs/week for the clsss. You'll learn so much in her class. I would totally recommend her!!

Prof Mundi is a great Writ 340 professor I truly enjoyed her class. She explains everything in detail and has a funny sense of humor. Class lecture is very dense, I recommend taking notes as she basically gives you so many tips for the papers. There's 3 papers, and a group project.

She is very nice. Just do your work on time and everything is do-able. Very clear on what you are supposed to submit. Easy to get a good grade. Interesting mix of case studies and papers, which works well for just about all majors. Highly recommend her class.

I dont recommend this course and professor for those who dont want to participate, or put times for assignments. Prof. Mundi will help students to learn critical thinking. Her class is not easy, but if manage time and put much efforts you will Get an A.

A challenging professor, but extremely straightforward and fair. She expects you to be prepared and to think for yourself. and, she gives you plenty of tools to help you out. USC could use a few more professors like her as I just have a greater appreciation for professors who work to make their courses practical for our future careers.

Good class to learn critical thinking. I liked how you can grade your fellow students, which makes the grading so much more fair in the group project. Three papers. A few weekly assignments. The course was do-able if you're taking a full load. Like Prof Mundi's energy! Take the class. Worth your while and investment in time.!!!

TAKE THIS CLASS! Non-business majors: I recommend it even MORE because business writing is applicable in any field. In my 4 years here, this is DEF one of the best classes I've taken. Each lecture was so rich, and she's engaging, intelligent, and funny. She wants you to succeed. Honestly learn so much. Group project was a highlight of college too.

No textbook required. Course schedule given at the start of the semester. Engaging topics on companies you get to select. Grading is fair & in line with syllabus. Cases are fun. Group project is chill. Overall, 100% take. She makes it more about critical thinking & less about dangling participles. Absolutely worth the time.

Like many of you probably reading this right now, you're scrolling through web registration Googling your profs to see which 340 course to take. So I'll make this easy for you- take it with Prof Mundi! She made this class engaging, entertaining, and assigned helpful readings!!!

Professor Mundi made the class very fun and engaging. She'll want you to participate in class (so it might be a little scary for students who are shy). She makes you work for your grade, meaning she's a tough grader. Having said that, she gives very good feedback and is clear with her instructions. I'd also add she's very caring and understanding!

Prof Mundi is a diamond. She is really caring. She gives A LOT of feedback on how to improve your writing skills abilities. Her lectures are fun and thought provoking. Genuinely tries to helps students thru Slack, and would even take the time to get to know them. Strong lectures and provided plenty of practice writing time with guidance. Her papers were totally fair and similar to her sample ones. As long as you attend lecs and understand the PPTs well, you should be able to pass. Highly recommend!!

I was very worried taking a 340n class because I never thought essays were my strong suit but I ended up getting high 80's on all my papers in this class. The material that we base our essays on was very interesting which made the class not at all boring. Attendance was mandatory but her attitude in class was very real & funny. defo worth the work!

Dr. Mundi was the kindest professor I have ever had at 'SC. She is so caring about her students and she really wants you to learn & get that first job. Anytime I felt like I was struggling in my personal life or with school, I could come to her and she would listen intently and give good, motherly advice. I definitely recommend taking her classes!

She's the kind of prof who shows up after getting into a car accident. Bruised, cut on her face, but it's ALL about her kids. We got the P/NP option, but definitely take the class if you wanna learn about fun stuff in marketing!!!! Writing is ok, but the readings are sooooo helpful!!! Love Dr. Mundi!!!!

Professor Mundi is AMAZING PROF! Honestly, if you are scared to take a 340 class, do not hesitate and take her class. She makes it easy, fun, and not overwhelming at all. Always there to help you out, only 1 group project and 3 papers. Flexible with grading if you give it your best. She instilled greater confidence in me as a writer. RECOMMEND!!!

If you're looking for an easy A, then pick someone else, but if you actually want to learn about writing, she's a solid choice. Her content is current and she is still in the field so her information is very valuable and usable. She's very enthusiastic about the subject, which is not only refreshing, but also super helpful for future marketers.

Don't get stuck in a class that doesn't speak up! Switch into an active session!!! Homework once a week and there's no book and if you get haters, ask her to switch into another group. She really wants you to do great in the class!!! Follow the sample papers. I got an A- on the first paper, so I can tell you it can happen!!!

Easy course if you follow the course readings. It's not hard, but just time consuming. Dr. Mundi is super savvy with tech topics, always available on Slack & genuinely cares about her kids. Defo get to the writing center as they help with research. Kim was also a bonus. Highly recommend if you want a 340 class that teaches you something.

Professor Mundi is pretty chill. Our section had 2 papers not 3. And everything is given to you online. Was easier than I thought it'd be.

Dr. Mundi is energetic/passionate when speaking about class content. Take good notes in lectures and pick up on things she says/emphasizes (even if they're not on the slides) because she gives hints to help with papers. If you pay attention and absorb the material the papers aren't bad. The group projects isn't as bad as you would think as well.

Every lecture was engaging and interesting, homework takes 1-2 hours/week, which were simple and everyone got 100% on them. 2 research papers (my other 340 had 4). group project which is also easy. extra credit helps bump your grade. Recommend!!

Professor Mundi's WRIT 340 is a difficult class that pushed me to bring my writing to the next level. Her willingness to be available at all hours for office hours and over slack showed her passion for teaching and your dedication to helping her students succeed.
