Loved her class! Pr. Parmar is young but excelled in teacing Bio 12. Her explanations are very clear and she is willing to go over the points that remained unclear. Always gives reviews, gives sample question. Tries to appear strict, but she just wants you to study hard ones you are there.

She's an extremely clear professor. No tricks or gimmicks, she's straight forward. Know what she tells you to, study from the book and you'll do great. She's very nice but don't take advantage.

Prof. Parmar is phenomenal! Very caring and understanding! Her lectures are very clear and if something is unclear she will go over it 100 times until you get it! She asks if people have doubts about 100 times per lecture so if you don't speak up, it's not her fault you don't get something. She's the best professor I ever had! highly recommend!!!

Professor parmar is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone interested in studying allied health... She makes sure you understand the work and she will make sure you work hard also.... For such an intense course, so far she has made it a wonderful experience for me and I'm gonna try to get her again for bio 12 if possible

Be prepared to spend all your waking hours studying. Do not take any equally difficult classes if you are picking this course. Do not take this course if it's not mandatory for major requirements. Good luck!

It was a pleasure to have Professor Parmar for Human Anatomy & Physiology II, this summer. When you register for her section none of you all would have any regrets. However, it is not easy to get an A in her class. You have to earn it. I know that for sure, I had to work my little tail feather off for an A-..lol. It is doable! Good Luck Bio 11 & Bio 12 prospective students!!;)

I must say that this class was extremely more difficult than I expected. With that said she is a good professor, but extremely suspicious if you do well. I don't get it??? It seems that one is expected to fail or do poorly. She actually made a speech about cheating just because everyone was doing well. She gives too much work for a short semester.

Professor Parmar is amazing she is elegant sophisticated and very intelligent. She tells her students to let there confidence show, especially when you know the stuff. She gave us a nice treat on the last day just to show us how much she appreciated are enthusiasm and hard work. I can only wish to be as smart as she is. She is a wonderful educator!

This is one of the most difficult courses i have ever taken. Having saud that, prof Navneet makes it fun interesting and understandable. She is veryyyyy tough but fair. Lot of work is given. She NEVER leaves the class early (i dont like that). But she teaches content as well as skills that are needed to pursue this line. Besttttt teacher

She is very nice professor, but she is very hard. You can't come late to her class or miss the class, she will make you to take this lab/lecture with other professor. Her exams are all critical thinking, and you will not get theme back.She will not raise your grade. Her final is all new questions. A lot of work to do in her class, but you LEARN!

She comes off as very strict, and don't get me wrong she is...but it is b/c she is a very caring teacher! If you don't do the work...you won't pass its that simple. But if you do the work and you still feel like it needs explaining she takes the time to help. But thats only if you're actually trying to learn, not just cause you weren't listening

Its straight forward, if you take all notes and study hard, you get an A. She gives a reasonable amount of extra credit! I hope she figures out who this is hehe

I absolutely loved this professor. I made the big mistake of taking this as a Hybrid class and only got to meet in lecturelab one day a week. She made the material very understandable. You can tell she is on your side rooting for you yet you have to work for your grade. She is very inspiring. One of my top professors.

Sometimes It's hard to keep up with what she's saying because she speaks fast, but she's usually willing to explain. You don't really need a textbook in the class (the lab manual is a must) because she gives a lot of info in her power-point slides, and all the test material is from there. She has a sense of humor & values effort

Followed syllabus to a T. Four tests given, lowest grade dropped. Makes bio easy to understand. Final test had questions from all four tests. Studying is a must. Extra credit was to go to the museum and answer questions on evolution. It was fun. Labs were done online and are worth 30% of the grade so make sure you do them. She is a wonderful lady!

You can tell she loves her job. Some may all her tough but it's all passion. Because of her I'm one step closer to my dream of nursing. Please form study groups if you can. Very helpful!

The sweetest the most genuinely good hearted prof in KBCC. So good at teaching makes everything understandable and tries her very best to make sure all her students are on the same page, consider yourself lucky to have her. Don't get me wrong its a hard class but you will learn so much if you give it your all and she will do her best to help you !

She came to class every day with high energy and ready to teach, and this was during 7 hr lectures! (winter class)! She clearly loves the subject, loves the job, and loves giving knowledge. She follows the syllabus, responds to emails, &is avail during office hrs. 350 characters isn't enough to describe how helpful she was throughout the semester.

Prof explained each topic thoroughly and made it easier for us to understand . Her test were tough but mostly everything was on powerpoint, we really didn't have to use the book. She made every effort to ensure we did well in her class by giving us extra credit assignments. The extra points were a huge plus !!! :)

Awesome professor, you definitely have to work hard for your grade but she is always there to help and loves to see when her students are trying. Her tests and lab quizzes are challenging but if you study you will get a good grade. She also gives a lot of extra credit which helps to boost your grade a lot. One of the best in her field! She is my favorite biology professor. She loves to teach and knows how to do it. You will leave with lots of information after her class, just go over the power points and do all the assignments. Try to understand the material, it will help to memorize it better. She has a unique sense of humor. I highly recommend taking her class :)

Omg, i love her, if you get a chance to take her class, grab it with both hands and legs, just be serious and be ready to study, she gives online quizzes which you need your lab manual by your side to ace. I promise you, no regrets. I had and A. And by the way, an 89 is a A with Professor navneet.

She dropped the lowest quiz and lecture exam and gave extra credit on two exams. She even offered the chance to have the lowest grade on a test bumped to a 90 if we got a minimum of a 90 on our third lecture exam! She has powerpoints available online, but you NEED to work for the grade. Participation helped with learning the material.

Professor Kaur was the best professor Ive ever had at KBCC. She was inspiring and so sweet her lectures were heavy and if you missed a class you missed ALOT. I had to withdraw from her class for personal reasons but she still deserved a review. If you have to take BIO11 TAKE HER you won't regret it.

I had her for 2018 Spring semester Bio 100, ignore the course code. pros: super funny, super hilarious!, really cares about making sure you understand the material! CONS: speaks so fast with an accent!, she told us she never gives extra credit but we begged her on our knees so she gave us 2 extra credit assignments just 2! 6% total, EXAMS HARD!!

Biology is a hard subject in itself and this professor was patient with our class she was amazing at lecturing and very clearly lead any issues you could email her or find her at the office. It was a rough semester but if you did everything she asked you would definitely pass. Its a lot of reading and retention but she is the best!

I recall her lecture on day 1. She said u have to study Atleast 3/4 hours per day for this class. She was correct. She is amazing prof who knows what she is teaching. She wants her students to do good but you cant push her or beg for extra credit. She means business. U have to work very hard but she will be there for you to help. Love her

Great professor. Difficult subject but definitely manageable. Have to prepare a good amount for the exams but all the info is on her slides. Should def attend class because she explains the subject well and makes it simple to understand. Anyone complaining about her def did not put in the work required for this course.

Had her back in Spring 2018. If you don't do the work you're in for an F! I had a class of 20ish people and nearly everyone dropped the class. Most people wanted to get into nursing and they had a shock with the workload. This is the building block for all health professions so you need to do well! Being in nursing is a lot of work. Stay focused!!

She is awesome, very understanding, and caring professor. She explains everything so well that even a child will understand. A very fair grader and also gives a bit of extra credit. Overall, the class is fairly easy if you do the work and take your time.

Professor Kaur is a wonderful professor. You will need to study a lot but this is exactly why you take this class for. Tests are not easy. Professor Kaur provides a feedback for all assignments. Be ready to spend a lot of your time. Definitely will take Professor Kaur again!

I would have to say that Professor Kaur, is one of the most brilliant professors out there. She explains the material incredibly, with clarity and interest to her students. Although bio is extremely detailed and hard she finds a way to make you understand the impossible. I definitely recommend taking her for bio if you are majoring in it.

Intense class! Take alone or w/ a lighter course. There is A LOT of reading, exams/quizzes, writing assignments, AND labs due every week. She provides a lot of information in her recorded lectures (you can slow video speed) & PPT slides. Take detailed notes and draw diagrams as directed. Her grading policy is fair and gives extra credit.

If you watch all her lecture videos every week, almost every question in quiz will be there. There is a quiz nearly every week in lab and attendance is MANDATORY. But she is very understandable so talk to her if you are having some problems handing in work.

RECOMMEND! RECOMMEND! RECOMMEND! she's the first science teacher I've had who actually teaches, and not teach like we both learnt the information already and we're just doing a review. She goes fast yet slow to make us really understand, but lots of writing assignments, and quizzes almost every week. LOVE her though!

Excellent professor, very organized & nice. This was a writing intensive class, so we had 5 writing assignments which were not bad at all. Almost weekly lab quizzes, 3 exams plus one final. Study her slides, watch her lectures and you'll do fine. She provided weekly grade updates so we knew exactly where we stand which was great. Highly recommend!

Summer module/2022-online. Professor Kaur is an excellent and caring professor.Her exams involves critical thinking. Do all the online homework assignment. She is very supportive. Take this class by itself. I would take this class again with Professor Kaur.

It was a tough class for me with lots of work .However she is so caring , and understanding and if you communicate with her she will do her best to work with you . Very heavy on quizzes. There were also online lab assignments. If you study the material thoroughly and keep up with the course you'll do well. I would highly recommend BIO 100 with this professor if you're a non-science major.
