SHE COUNTS ATTENDANCE AND MAKE SURE YOU GO TO CLASS FOR CONFERENCE FOR YOUR PAPERS. SHE'S EASY AS LONG AS YOU DO THE WORK HOW SHE WANTS IT.

She is easy to understand. Do the homework, and you will be fine. Make sure you pay attention when she is explaining how to do papers. DONT MISS THE PEER EDITING. Its free points. I got an A in the class. Would take her again.

great professor. she really does help. also she has a peer editing and teacher conferencing on papers that REALLY helps out. and it makes the class seem short. she is good at expaining stuff. alot of the stuff done is in class. not alot of homework except for the essay papers. dont miss the peer editing. it is an easy way to get points and helps.

The first time when I saw her, I did not like her but now i love her. English is not my first language, so for me was to difficult at the beginning but she helped me a lot with this class. I would recommend this professor to anyone. She is a great teacher. she is humble and has a nice personality. She helps and encourages the students who fear english. Her work is not too hard, but it entail lots of research. This is a class that will motivate anyone who wants to learn.

In my opinion,she was an easy teacher. I recommended her too anyone who wants to pass Enc1101. In order to pass all you have too do is do what she says and dont miss the peer editing days for extra points

She is a good professor. Her quizzes are online but you have the chance to take them twice. So you can fix your answers. She will meet with you after class or throughout the day to help with your papers. She gives group work and she is not a tough critic. She is good!!

Professor Leon is very Knowlegeable in English. She is always willing to assist students. The work is manageable. She is a very nice lady. However, there are some days when she can get a little snappy lol So try 2 stay on her good side and you'll do fine :)

She is a very nice lady and will take the time to go through your paper and correct where you went wrong. If you take time look at the corrections she has made on your paper and implement them, you will learn how to write a paper

She was great. I loved that she was very helpful. However, You have to do the work.

This was a 6 week on-line.Professor Leon was an excellent communicator and facilitator the entire time. She responded to email in a timely manner, gave excellent instructions on submitted drafts and showed genuine interest for her students. Keep up with the assignments & quizzes and you will do well in her class.

Professor Leon was wonderful!! It was in her online enc 1101 class that I completed my first research paper and overcame my fear of research papers and she was very helpful. She kept in contact with us and put herself out there to assist us. Take this professor if you want to learn how to develop substantial essays! Amazing teacher and very nice!

Prof. Leon is a fantastic teacher who takes pride in making her students successful. If you are a slacker i would not recommend her class. She is extremely tough on grading and offers an abundance of assistance to her students. I am taking her again. I love this teacher :)

She's cool, I can understand where people can say she might be boring, but not in our class she's pretty interesting. Sure there's paper after paper, but it's not that bad. The online quizzes are easy and are there to boost your grade up also, if you have a lot of trouble writing papers.

I took Prof. Leon online for Enc 1101 during a 6 week course which I just finished w/ an A. The class was VERY easy you have help from Smartthinking, you can also submit rough drafts for her to grade she tells you your mistakes. The quizzes are very easy do the work you'll be fine

I took Professor Leon for Enc1101 and she was great. I had her two semesters ago and she did whatever she can to help and she knows what she is doing. The papers were a bit challenging but she walks you through every step. She gives ton of extra credit too! I wish I had taken her for Enc1102.

really good teacher. throughly enjoyed her class. took her for both enc1101 & enc1102 essays are worth the most, but she helps you every step of the way. honestly feel like I learned a lot from her class. highly recommended. if you don't like to work for your grade then you should get another teacher.

I'm currently taking her for 1101 rn, she's not that bad. She is boring though. There's only 3 essays (1 3 pages, 4 pages and 5 pages). I learned how to cite and write better essays for sure in this class. If you want to learn take her. If you dont really care and want an easy a go for someone else. Mylabsplus is super easy and there's a lot of EC!

She's whatever. Tough grader will take off points for any little mistake which is annoying. I did learn how to write essays better for sure though

Honestly forget what everyone else has said about Professor Leon. She is one of the best professors I've ever had. She way too kind, her grading method is very simple and she gives about 3 papers during the semester, super easy. I am so glad to have ad her as my professor, I truly respect her a lot.

Peppers were long but not that hard. she is really nice and helpful! she will bring donuts and coffee to class for students

Prof. Leon was great! There are 3 major papers to write, online grammar labs to complete, and some other homework assignments. Show up, participate,and do your asssigned work. She truly cares, wants you to succeed, and is there to help you when you need her. There is no reason you shouldn'y do well. Use to ASC lab for extra, free help!

Professor Leon is a Great Professor. Friendly, very approachable, and her assignments are very doable. 3 major essays, a couple of homework/class assignments, two extra credit opportunities, plus, she teaches you how to write great essays. If you want to learn how to write an essay, I would highly recommend her.

Shes a great teacher to be honest. Gives alot of extra credit and alot of time to do your work. You'll have an easy A if you follow through the work and do your homework.

Prof. Leon did not give out a schedule until after the first real assignment was due; which caused me to receive a B+ because this was one of the biggest deadlines/assignments of the whole class and I missed it. No makeup work allowed, but the work itself is super easy. Two papers in place of midterm/final. Minimal work. Totally do-able.

She assigns a lot of work and she reads everything you turn in. She can be a tough grader but you will learn how to write good essays. You do not use a textbook for her class. Her class is challenging but as long as you do all of her work and turn them in on time you should be fine.

She is a great professor. At times i felt overwhelmed of all of the work and if you miss one class, youll be really lost the next class. She is very helpful. Its an easy class because she gives out a rubric for each paper and all you have to do is follow it and get a good grade.

She is a great professor, if you want to learn she is the professor for you. Her lectures are a little confusing, but I believe she makes it harder for students to learn. If you are lazy , and don't like homework ,or studying she is not for you, and you wont pass the class.

Best teacher ever. Im not going to say it was easy to get an A, because I worked hard for it. Dont skip class and do homework. Theres 3 essays and thats all you gotta do for the semester and if you need help, she will help you. Also theres one Plagiarism test, it was easy but little confusing if you dont study.

Getting the grade you want you'll have to work for it. Take in there feedback because it'll only better your writing. Thats the only thing you'll have to worry about with her. Other than that, she is very clear in what she is looking for in her essays.

She's straight to the point. I loved her as my professor. She makes sure everyone understands what she's talking about and she makes sure she shows you what you're suppose to do other than just telling you. Go to every class because they will be times where she will give a pop quiz (super easy) or collect something.

I'm so happy I took professor Leon's class. She is very thorough and explains assignment instructions to the T. She always responds to email and she is easy to talk to. This lady really cares about the success of her students. I strongly advice anyone to take her class, but if you are not prepared to write the don't waste her time.

Professor Leon is very clear on what she teaches. If you come to class and do the work you will pass the class. She's very caring for her students, she gives her students the time to complete any assignment! She does a great job by sending reminder for the assignments to help her students!

Professor Léons grading system is easy to follow. Take notes, show up to class and you will pass! She is very strict but cares. Gives great feedback during the revision period of the assignments due so take advantage of office hours. ��

This is the best English Professor ever! I took her for ENC1101 and 1102. She breaks down her lectures to where you can understand. There are three essays total for the semester along with some homework in 1101.

She is really nice and will help you if you need extra time. She really made classes during a pandemic easy for us and not stress us out. I enjoyed having her as a professor.

Professor Leon is awesome! I took her for ENC1101, and she cares BIG TIME for her students. We only had two essays on the whole semester, a discussion each week, and mylabs. She is very clear with what she expects. You have to do your part by doing your homework and trying your best at her essays. If you do that, you will pass for sure!

She has high expectations from her students. But she is willing to help you however she can. She explains MLA very well, and her lectures are very thorough.

Professor Leon was the one you would want for ENC classes. She gave good feedback on the drafts and would guide you on the right track for the final draft of the paper. This class was to learn how to do proper research for sources and know if they are good or not. Answers emails pretty fast(doesn't when she says she will not be able to). Great Prof

Prof Leon was a great teacher and really explained every request to the T. Our class was 3 months long and we basically only had 3 essays. (Which is ALOT of time). Simply show up to class, take her recommendations on papers, and participate in class. We aren't in high school anymore guys. Just follow directions and you'll pass.

Professor Leon is a great professor. The assignments are very clear and easy to understand. Her grading is also very fair. She is friendly and is always happy to answer questions / emails. We had a bout 3 papers in total and were given plenty time to complete them. This class is pretty easy.

The class is easy if you participate in the class zooms because she grades participation and attendance matters but you have a lot of time to do the assignments. There's only two essays you have to write and you have more than enough time to do them. There's no final and she's really good at explaining everything so it's clear.

I recommend this professor to anyone she is very excellent she does not give a lot of papers she gives you extra credit for going to the writing center. She only has two papers for the whole semester and if you do badly on one of the papers you can redo it. This one class I will retake it besides psychology.

Professor Leon is the best! She is super duper understanding, you can easily communicate with her outside of class and she is very patient. There was only 2 papers required of us for this class and she helps you with the creation process. Make sure to take notes and keep them until the end of the course, you will need it. Participation does matter!

She is amazing! This is my second time taking one of her courses and I absolutely love this professor. Laziness will not won't fly by with this professor, so if you're lazy.. this is not the course for you. Great feedback on all papers written and so many opportunities to submit the coursework. Very stress free course, in my opinion.

She was great!!! I don't know why she doesn't have a higher rating, she was very helpful even after I didn't complete a couple assignments ( I forgot) my grade ended up being a B. She's quick with emails and grades fair and the feedback was amazing! Take her I promise you'll do well!

She is very nice and passionate about her work. However she can be OVERLY passionate. The class focuses on two major submissions. We would spend WEEKS on writing ONE singular email. She did have great feedback on some topics but she lowkey did the most.

Professor Leon is an incredibly friendly and helpful professor. Her class is all about assignments, so there are no exams. I highly recommend taking her class - she's super easygoing and makes learning a breeze!

Throughout this course, you can tell Professor Leon really cares about the students and wants us to succeed throughout the course. It's good to email her when needed, and she's a very good professor! She explains and goes through the assignment well and helps you with mistakes. I highly recommend!

As a recent ENC1102 Online Dual Enrolled student, I couldn't have asked for a better professor than Professor Leon. She was not only very lenient on my writing but also genuinely cared for me as a person. Although I never met her in person, she's incredibly caring towards her students. I highly recommend Professor Leon!!
