good teacher, grammar on tests/assignments can be confusing, so ask questions! uses analogies to explain concepts, made it easier for me, but confused non-english speaking students

He has his talents. He does not always respond to student's questions but he does give more feedback than other teachers who don't explain why they deduct marks from tests and assignements. He also supplies answers to labs and tests. Why don't all teacher

DO YOUR WORK!!! Study the Notes he gives, the book, attend ALL classes and you'll get an A. You'll learn a lot in his class 'cause you'll be afraid that he'll slap your head if you don't pay attention.

pretty good prof, he is funny which makes it easier to pay attention. the sql and oracle stuff is tough but if u read the book and do the stuff in the book u can do well...

Best i´ve ever had

A whiz with PL/SQL, and a really funny guy as well. Sometimes his accent is hard to understand, but not often enough to be a big factor. My favourite prof this semester.

Nebojsa Conkic is the one of the best teachers in the Seneca college. His classes always interesting,flexible,relaxing, and fun. He is a talented teacher and very good person.I wish I could take all his classes.

Makes lots of funny, inappropriate jokes. Knows the material.

Huge and deep knowledge of the subject as you will rarely see in other courses. Can't remember anybody else knowing databases so well. The subject is tough and he won't ask vanilla questions, on the other hand it is useful to get such a level of detail. Works hard, is very smart, demands but also shares his knowledge. Pleasant jokes too sometimes.

Nebojsa has very good understanding of the course material and can explain the work in a number of different ways. If there are 8am classes on your schedule be prepared for him to come late every time. His lectures are clear and he can give you good feedback if you ask. There were only 2 tests though so not much preparation for the exam.

He is always making jokes in the class in order to try to keep the students interested. Because of this reason some people might find him offensive. If he has a lecture early in the morning, he will be late for sure. You can say that he is not that organize to teach his class and that could be the case. But it is a very knowlegdeable teacher.

He will explain well, but the tests will challenging. You need to study.

Lectures are not really necessary. Just complete all the labs.

Had this prof for DBS201. I didn't like him. Stupid examples, not funny jokes. This year had to take DBS301 and it happened that he was teaching the second half of my semester. Frankly, my opinion changed. His lectures were okay and examples were quite good. Also he's a fair graded and will not deduct marks if you missed/misspelled something.

To be honest he is one of the best professor I have ever seen . His teaching style is very unique and always help student to get good knowledge .He ask the things in exam he taught , that is best part of him.

He's friendly and approachable. You will have to do a lot of reading on your own (like literally 300+ slides), but he does a good job of clarifying concepts if you ask. Be sure to pay attention to topics he makes a point of repeating and easy to overlook details because he likes to put those things on the tests.

Nebosja is a really fair and funny professor. He's got a great sense of humour too. If you attend his lectures and listen to him properly you're surely getting an A. The only way you would fail his class is if you don't pay attention and skip his lectures. He gives out good tips before quizzes and tests too and he's always down to help you out.

Nebojsa is a confident professor that clearly knows what he's talking about. Explains concepts well, and class participation helps the experience, as he's lighthearted with a few jokes thrown into the lecture as well. Very direct in criticisms/feedback, and doesn't beat around the bush. One of the best profs i've had so far.

This is one of the best Professors in Seneca. He knows a lot about SQL, he explains everything in a very clear way. If you don't skipt his classes and pay attention, you will get an A. He is a fair grader, a great human being and very smart Professor.

Easy Grader, good lectures and perfect study material

Explains the material very well and shows mastery of Oracle databases. Considerate with lab if you show up, he will direct you to the right process if your answer is wrong and gives you a chance to correct it so you get a perfect score. Can be lenient with his favorite students and strict with those he doesn't recognize (be careful).

When it comes to DBS311 and DBS501, Nebojsa is my go-to-prof. He is more than fair and expects you to do the work. DBS overall is an easy subject and he makes it even easier by his lectures. Find a group of A students and you'll fly through the subject. Nebojsa is firm, so he is great for late 20s and early 30s students. He won't baby you.

A guru in SQL and database. Make sure to study hard if you mean to learn. You will get a good grade and learn a lot. If you don't mean to learn, still recommend to attend his classes for his jokes and sarcasm.

Professor Nebojsa is so underrated. He should have a rating of 6/5. His lectures are a delight to be in, because of his years of experience and humor. Lectures are conducted both online and in-person. Although, coming in-person would give you the best experience. Labs are submitted either in-lab or print-out (no email). Pick him for all DB courses.

Excellent professor but he is retired already. Huge knowknowledge on DB, trying to encourge studnet to learn and clear the concept very well. Lots of teaching experience which is super valuable. Hope he is happy for retirement.
