Ms. Jospeh is the sweetest professor I've had yet. I'm one of those people who is terrible at math but she really made things clear. You have 4 tests and a final. Any points you get on a quiz go as extra credit for the test. Quizzes are always 2-3 questions she lets you use your notes. I highly recommend her. I wish she taught other math courses

Mrs. Joseph is an excellent professor. She is very helpful, and she also very easy. There were some students in my class didn't do their homework, but she still open the homework again for them. Exams were so easy and short, but you have to study. Textbook is not required in her class, but you have to pay money for Webassign to do homework.

She is always rushing! She always runs out of time. She repeats stuff that are easy instead of going over the difficult material. And I had asked for homework extension and she didn't give it to me. It's a lot of homework she gives and it's all online. She was okay, but she doesnt have mercy on the amount of homework..

she is awesome. i would totally take her again but the thing is she takes the whole period of class to teach and also sometimes forget to take attendance which is a god thing lol she gives a lot of extra credit and she give review which is exactly he same as the test just different numbers

I took Ms. Joseph last year for college algebra & aced it. However, this semester I took her for Statistics & failed completely. There's a lot of material to cover & she does her best to help if you don't understand. Idk what I did wrong but I totally recommend her. There's a lot of homework and no review so study study!

Great lady!! I was scared to take pre-cal because I'm not good with math at all, but she teaches very slow and uses plenty of example to help make notes clearer . Give a review that's similar to the test. Come to class, ask questions, and send e-mails if you need help. She responds quickly.

Very much enjoyed studying under this instructor. Her lectures were always upbeat and easy to understand. She has a great attitude and is really accommodating for students of all levels. I am horrible at math and I ended up with a B+ in this course which was my own fault for not completing the homework. Complete the homework and show up - get an A.

Professor Jospeh is one of the best math teachers I've ever had and math was never my strong suit. Her class does move along fast but breaks down the material very well for you to understand. always goes over it again if she needs to. her exams are just like her reviews just different numbers. you will fall behind quick though if you miss class

Ms Joseph explains so well. She also comes prepared to teach. There are a lot of materials in this course and she was able to break it down. I wish she gave more formulas though.

For those really wanting to learn, she is the best! She knows how to teach. Apart from her second exam which was very difficult, all other exams were pretty straightforward. She is also super nice!

I have to say that this is one of those classes that I missed one lecture and I was feeling lost. There are so much materials but Ms. Joseph knows how to teach it. She does a few proofs which goes over my head but overall I like her. If you actually want to learn, take her. She breaks things down. Don't make her mad though. lol.

She's smart and cute. She talks a quite fast but if you willing to ask then she will explain right away to make sure you get it thoroughly. Doing all homework or you will fail her class for sure. Tough class for me and I'm happy with my B. I'm gonna take her again for next semester.

Shes great she knows how & what shes teaching. Lots of HW but if you keep up w it it wont seem like much. Her test reviews are awesome all she does is change the numbers but the problems are the exact same. JUST STUDY & YOULL BE OK. Class can be boring since she starts teaching nonstop as soon as she walks in til she walks out, but that's the point

Professor Joseph makes sure you undertand the topic and I liked her teaching style. Tests were a bit hard but if you study and do the reviews, you'll be fine.

I really want to rate this professor and share for everybody who is looking for the great instructor for math. I took 3 classes of math and she is the best! Her lectures were clear to understand. She likes to communicate with student. I strongly recommend her class for someone else.

Great professor

Definitely would take the class again, she is an amazing teacher and knows how to teach, she was pretty much born for it. She explains every detail in a way so that her students understand it, homework is long but necessary and it helps you understand better what you're going to see on the tests.

Ms. Joseph is really a great math teacher who knows HOW to teach. I'm currently in her Calculus II class. All her exams are not multiple choice which I guess is hard to do in Cal 2. She also gives quizzes. I like her teaching style and I wish she would teach Cal 3.

One of the best math teachers. She makes it easy to understand. I wish we can use calculators though. The class really got small after the second exam but I don't think it's her fault. She did keep saying in class that you need to have the basics to do well. Some of the students were asking the stupidest questions. lol.

She is the best prof I ever have. Maybe because this is my first semester. Her lectures are clear, she asks whenever she goes over something and if we understand. Don't be shy to ask cause she will explain it again. The test is like the study guide. Her exams have 20 questions and each question have 5 mins. Make sure to review and know your Maths.

Great Math Professor. However you will earn your grade there is little to no extra credit. She is super nice. Dropt the lowest test score.

Math itself is hard but she was a good professor. She went slow, answered any questions, and was very organized. The homework helps you practice and after reading about the other profs, she is prob your best choice.

It is easy to understand and follow her instruction. However, she has required the lock down browser program and you have to try to show your whole table when you do the exam.

Overall, easy math class. Professor was nice. Definitely be sure to do the homework assignments and study for the tests, but she goes over the homework in class

This math class was challenging. In the beginning, I was having a hard time and considered dropping out. However, the professor was there to help, and tutoring helped me immensely. Do the homework. It helps.

Ms. Joseph teaches very well. The first math class I actually liked & felt like it was easy to learn. I take my FINAL on Monday and I will let you know how it goes as of now I have a B. If you need help with anything after class or during she will go over it & make sure you understand. Always do the HW and do not miss class you will fall behind.

I'm not great with math but her lectures are very straightforward, she'll always be specific with what will be tested/what won't be. She uses slideshows in class so its easy to follow along and take notes. Also very receptive to questions and explains things clearly. I love her attitude, just professional not overly personal or overly cold.

Ms Neethu is a great professor who really teaches and organized. She will make sure you understand the materials.

Took professor Joseph during the summer of 2024. ALEKS homework was easy, 4 exams (drops lowest), a final, and class participation assignments. Allows you to use notes on exams, however exams were a little tricky. Teaches a little fast, so know your fundamental algebra. Very strict exam policy must show face and workspace or automatic 0. Take her.

Loved her. She never made you feel annoying for asking questions. I took her last fall but forgot to leave a review. Sweet woman and cares about her students and their grade. Taught effectively, lots of homework but was so so helpful for the exam. Gives study guides and reviews and goes over them in class. Finished with a 97

So. It's math and math is hard. She does give a lot of homework but really, just expect to do them as she teaches the subject. She never made me feel bad for asking questions or whenever I got her answer wrong. If I had to take math again I would absolutely seek her out.

Great professor! I took her for an HCC credit class, and the experience was excellent. There are quite a few assignments that are due each week, but as long as you study and watch the videos to understand the concepts, you'll do well. The exams are very similar to the test reviews, so definitely make sure to go through those. Thanks Prof. Joseph!

She is a good professor and explains things well, just expect to have workload of aleks assignments that are all due in the same day, study Andy think she's not that bad

As you can see, I didnt do well in this class. But it really wasnt Dr. Joseph's fault. She is a great teacher. I think the problem with 1314 (for me anyway) is that they cram way too much together in one semester. It's hard to keep up. But she really tried her best to help you get to an understanding. Drops lowest exam grade too. Take her class!

If you're good at math, this class is a breeze. If you're not good at math, she's nice and helpful, just ask! Get ready to take notes and pay attention (don't be lazy), her lectures are great. Doing the assignments after each class (don't wait until last minute, some are short, some are long) should prepare you for all exams.

She is very responsive and helpful. You can tell that she cares for her students. I will totally recommend her. There are a lot homework though.

Professor Joseph is always willing to help and very clear about instructions. She's not lenient with grading but she'll tell you what things get points taken off ahead of time. The homework has unlimited attempts so it's easy points. The exams are worth a lot, so prepare throughly, but they're not hard. Take good notes and know your calculator.
