Without a doubt the most caring and down to earth teacher I have ever had. He is a writer but is not all anal about it he helps you perfect your paper and actually got me into writing papers. Cummulative research paper so you don't have to do it all at once. Last day of class is so funny TAKE HIM!!

I took this class for dual enrollment and it was so easy. He is unbelievably nice and understanding about students' situations. if you dont get an A in this class its because you're trying extremely hard not to.

Took him both for 1102 and 2210. Best professor I have had to date. Very helpful and down to earth. No tests at all. Presntation at the end of term which is on anything you want. As for the term papers, you get to do it in parts so he looks over them and gives you a heads up what direction to take. Really cool Professor!!!!

I don't understand what people mean by rude. At first i was skeptical about taking him because of the rating I'm glad i did received a B and i literally did ever assignment the night it was due.Unlimited attemps for quizzes and discussions or quizzes not mandatory. GREAT

He is very nice. I missed Orientation and he let me make it up, then I missed an essay and he let me turn it in late, though he wasn't too happy about that. He makes comments on essays that are very helpful and it was altogether fairly easy.

This is a great professor, i took him online and he was extremely helpful all of his assignments were clear and as long as you follow directions well, you will do well in this class. He is extremely helpful and gives lots of extra credit.

Professor Plakcy is an amazing person/professor. His essays are about fun and relevant subjects and he grades with ease. He is extremely liberal and very clear on what he wants. I highly recommend taking him for an insightful and easily gained A.

Prof. Plakcy's class was a breeze. This was my first online class and although i had minor concerns initially, once i got into it...smooth sailing all the way through. If you are thinking about taking this class online, he is the professor for you, complete assignments on time and participate and if you need assistance he is usually available.

Very clear spoken on his lectures. There are I believe about 12 short, very easy discussions, 2 papers, a few online quizzes, and the final exam is online. My class was online and in class. The book he requires is The Hunger Games. I found this class very easy. If you just do the work, you'll get a good grade.

AMAZING PROFESSOR. I recently took his Mystery Fiction class online and I have to say that it was the best decision I made as of now. The assignments go hand-in-hand with the short stories; so if you read them you're 100% guaranteed to pass this class. Great professor! I would definitely sign up for another one of his classes in the future.

He has a different take on an ENC class and it's really refreshing. You have online quizzes but the answers are all in the text. Only two super easy essays and lots of easy discussions. If you do all the work you'll get an A no problem.

Quite possibly easiest class of my life, because my class was blended all of the discussions and tests were online with the references there and readily available. All that you have to do is go to class, and read Hungergames and watch the movie. He even gave extra credit to go and have your paper proofread at the academic success center.

Great professor who has a lot of background in the subject. One paper and each chapter has a quiz that you can take multiple times. Easy class with interesting information!

This dude is really cool, he is really passionate about his work and teaching. He really wants to help the students and help them get a job some day in the field. Easy class with one paper on your favorite TV show and 14 easy quizzes that you can take whenever you want. The point is this class is easy as cheese. Easy easy easy!

He was awesome, I had him for a blended class. He would put everything on the syllabus with links to the different assignments, and if you did not understand an assignment, we will be more than happy to explain it to you.

Professor Plakcy's class was by far the easiest class i took all Fall semester. He likes engaging with the class, has a good sense of humor, and i found his lectures enjoyable. There is a book but you don't need to bring it to class. There's one quiz and discussion post every week and no tests. Then there's one group project at the end.

Professor Plakcy is an amazingly caring teacher. There are no tricks or guess work as far his class is concerned. He is clear about what is expected of his students. I took session two ENC1102 and as long as you attend class, do online quizzes, discussions, and essays you will do just fine. He strongly encourages spell and grammar checks.

This class is a easy A you have two easy essays and a midterm and final. He also extends due dates and will help you without hesitation. You only have to do discussions for homework.

Very easy class i took it as one of the fast sessions and i recommend not wasting your time on a session 1 or 3 for his class. Took it during COVID-19 and he was very understanding. Easy quizzes based on a book youll need for the class, discussion posts, & 2 very easy short essays no more than 1,000 words required. Really nice professor over all.

Take him for ENC1102, he's the best. I took this class as an accelerated course and it was still the easiest english class i've ever taken. There was only like two papers and a few discussions/quizzes. He also gives great feedback and is super helpful.

The class was easy, no complaints on my end. Responds swiftly to your emails, gives good feedback on your papers. I would take him again, if given the chance to. Only two papers out of the entire course, I had him for a 6-week course. Easily can get all the work completed for the course easily within two weeks. Key is to work ahead really.

This professor is by far the best experience I have had in the past 2 years at Broward College. Answers emails immediately, you have to read a book called "Think like a Freak" in which I really truly enjoyed and I am not an avid reader. We had a couple of papers and discussions all do-doable. I highly highly recommend this Professor for ENC1102!!!!

I dropped my previous ENC1102 because of how terrible the professor was, and I requested a seat opening through email for Professor Plakcy. It was the best choice I made at BC! We read a book throughout the course that truly dug into the roots of life's golden simplicity we forget to realize. I loved this Professor and the course!

10/10 take Professor Neil again. He makes the class an easy flow, doesn't over load you with work, and gives plenty of time to submit it. He's willing to help you with any questions you have and it shows that he is passionate about what he does. His lectures and discussions are relatable and easy to follow.

Great professor! If you submit your papers, do the discussions, and take the (very easy) quizzes, you'll definitely pass with an A. He is lenient on deadlines and approachable on e-mails. He also gives out proper feedback and makes class interesting. There's a required narrative book, but I didn't pay for expensive access codes, which is a plus.

Prof Plakcy is an amazing professor! 2 papers (500 and 750 words), 8 discussions (no reply, and only a few sentences), and 8 quizzes (unlimited attempts, highest score inputted). His lectures were inspiring, and he is not a terribly difficult grader! I took him for his 8-week course, and he was great.

Amazing. Easy class. Made us write 3 essays but they were super easy and hes not very strict, if you ask for extra time hes willing to give it to you and overall explains everything so everyone can understand. Definitely would take again.

Although this class was online, Professor Plakcy was amazing. The class was really easy. 6 discussions, 2 in each chapter, and 5 assignments which are really where the points come from. Gives ample time to work on assignments. If you see this class with this professor highly recommend taking it.
