This professor is great. It was a live session online class. He provided great help and feedback. The class itself was not hard at all, just a lot of work during a C7 session.

The topics in this class can be hard but prof schreiber is great. Responds to emails very quick and cares deeply about student's success. Best professor I've had at FSCJ. Lectures are easy to follow, explains everything well, will answer any questions thoroughly, lectures match the homework, tests are just like homework. Cant recommend him enough.

If you have the opportunity to take Professor Schreiber, JUMP on it. He was, by far, the best professor/teacher that I have ever had. He made a very scary class become attainable. Class isn't mandatory, but his lectures are great that you almost want to attend anyways. Lots of work, but he's always available to help with questions.

Professor Schreiber takes advantage of face-to-face lectures and teaches in a way that will truly help you understand the topic at hand. He uses many real-world examples so you are able to reach a better understanding of the topic and so you are able to know when and where to apply certain principles. You can tell he truly enjoys teaching.

I wasn't really looking forward to taking accounting, but I thought he did a great job of explaining the concepts to those of us who came into the class knowing very little. He took the time to make sure every student understood the concepts and if there were any questions they were answered right away. I really enjoyed having him as my professor!

7 week online course, tons of material, work load was quite heavy. Syllabus was very clear. This course was essentially self-led, but professor Schreiber always communicated about the current weeks course material and offered extra credit throughout the semester. Manage your time, read and utilize your resources and you should get a high grade.

Professor is great at making sure you understand the material. The work itself wasn't that hard. Only 3 exams, Just a lot due each week with the class being C7.

Professor Schreiber is one of the best professors I've had in my two years of college, I would 100% recommend him and I'll be taking him again for Managerial Accounting. He makes the grading scale clear and easy to follow, all of the assignments are on McGraw Hill Connect and that includes 3 assignments a week plus 3 total exams in the class.

Professor Schreiber is amazing! He is very funny and clearly knows his stuff! He grades on 13 homework's and 3 exams. There are no make ups! Its pretty easy to get a 100 on the homework. The exams are pretty straight forward as well. I would recommend this professor. As well as taking him again!

First time taking an accounting class and I'm glad that I picked this class! It was definitely a heavy courseload, but as long as you stay on track, it is easy to get a good grade. The exams are a little hard, but it is mainly the homework material. Very clear grading criteria!

I took financial accounting with him and so glad I took managerial accounting with him as well! Lots of hw but as long as you do the hw, exams are quite similar. Highly recommend to do the practice test to help with the actual exam itself. Put in the work and you'll pass this class with ease!

Has by far the best ways of explaining to ensure you understand, will help you with the homework solving (can be tricky for how the system wants it to display) vs. how its like in real life situations. Reading is a must, accounting isn't easy, but Professor Schrieber will work with you to get it. Will be taking his managerial accounting next.

Professor Schreiber was AMAZING! This was the 2nd time I've taken him, and he has been a huge help in this class. Accounting is not easy but he is always responsive and will take the time to walk you through your questions. Opportunities for extra credit.

His instructions for the course were very straight forward. I took an accelerated 7-week course and found the workload to be a little heavy. He is a fair grader and offered a couple chances to gain extra credit, which was very helpful for my overall course grade. I would take him again and recommend this course.

Professor Schreiber is an amazing professor. I took him for ACG2021 as well and he gives a lot of homework but just make sure to come to class as he makes the materials a lot easier to understand! Professor Schreiber is one of the best professors that I ever had. He cares about your grade and understands what is going on. My advice is to do everything on time, ASK HIM any question about the homework or the exams do it he is nice.

This course was completely online but all instruction was very clear. The material could be tough, but the layout of the course gave you many options to succeed. All exams also allowed the use of your book, so, there really was little room for error unless you just didn't understand something or made careless errors. Highly recommend him!

I did online class with no live lectures. Every week I had the same work, we had one set of videos, a homework assignment and a set of questions with the textbook that he provides for you. You always know what you have to do ahead of time and he is an absolutely amazing person that gives extra credit towards the end to help

Grading rubric clearly communicated and attendance is not required. As long as you do all the homework and put your best effort in on it, you can get a "C" without taking any of the exams. Professor is willing to work with you and shows compassion to the student body by doing whatever he can to make sure you pass. Just do the work.

This class was more involved than I had anticipated but Professor Schreiber was very helpful. He did live one on one tutoring with me every time I asked, and was flexible with giving an extention when I needed one. I would definitly take his class again.

Good Professor, I took the seven weeks class for Managerial Accounting and I will be taking Financial Accounting next semester. By completing all of your work there is no way you should fail this course. It is very important that you complete your work before the due date, because late submission will not be accepted.

As long as you do the work, you will pass. I feel like his homework load was pretty standard. I will be taking more classes offered by him. I do all my classes online and I am used to learning the material without lecture, but I do wish there was video lectures to refer to from professor for the difficult sections that were hard to understand.

Broke down Financial Accounting in a simple and concise way. I never thought I had a shot with passing this class until I had this guy. Don't get me wrong Financial Accounting is still very finnicky and precise, but I am unsure how I would navigate it with another instructor with another course material.

Accounting can be tough but Professor Schreiber made it enjoyable. He is very involved both in and out of the classroom, and looks for every opportunity to make sure students strive throughout the semester. I'm very glad I chose him for my class because I might not have had the same experience anywhere else.

I loved this class! I knew nothing about accounting, but I found this course really informative and fun. Every week is laid out exactly the same, so you always know what to expect. McGraw Hill allows a "check my work" mode on homework, so that was incredibly helpful. Some of the questions were unreasonably confusing, but accounting isn't easy.

Professor Schreiber is a great communicator through all things, not just within the course but to further your education. Accounting is still difficult for me because I'm the type of person that needs step by step math guidance. The homework has "check my work" and practice exams which helped a lot. Plan each day to do a chapter and you will pass.

This class scared me going into it. My first professor was so bad I dropped the class but professor S made this course so easy to understand using real world applications. Professor Schreiber is very attentive. He updates you every week with your assignments and with due dates. Any questions you have he will response and will answer within a decent time. Very helpful if you have any questions as far as assignments. There's a lot of work but as long as you don't leave it for last minute you will be fine!

I took Professor Schreiber's financial class over the summer, and I enjoyed having him as a professor so much that I took his Managerial class in the fall. As cheesy as it sounds, he makes learning fun! He is very enthusiastic and passionate about what he does and cares for his student's success deeply. There wasn't one lecture I didn't enjoy.

Throughout each lecture, he checks in with every student one by one to see if they are following along and if there's anything he needs to go over again. The homework load isn't too bad and it's a points-based class so it doesn't matter if you failed an exam, as long as you do the homework you'll pass!

Great Professor! I took his 2071 class all online and he was very clears as to what our assignments were and when they were due. He sent out reminders every week reminding us what was due that Sunday. Work load was about 6 assignments a week, wasn't to bad just took about 45min to an hour for each assignment. Overall GREAT Professor!

This class has a heavy course load. Would definitely recommend taking it over a longer semester( I did 8 weeks). I learned a ton in this class. All though challenging which unless you are an accounting wiz, it will be for anyone. He gives multiple retakes and responds quickly. I will retake him again given the opportunity.

Awesome! So kind and knowledgeable. Accounting is boring but he tried his best to make it interesting. The class is all online through McGraw Hill Connect but he also gives great lectures. I don't suggest buying the hard copy textbook unless you prefer to have a paper copy, the course is FSCJ access so the online version is already provided.

I had taken this class online, and not only was his class easy to follow but also interactive and entertaining! He's very understanding, and extremely helpful- ready to answer any questions and available outside of the class.

This is my 2nd semester with professor Schreiber and he is one of the best professor's I've taken, you can tell he cares about his students and their success in the course. There are 3 connect assignments a week and no final exam. If you need help with anything outside of class he is quick to respond to emails and always explains material clearly.

I like this subject and want to learn it, but Prior to taking this class I was a little nervous about 2 hours of lectures. Thinking they would drag on and be tough to get through however professor Schreiber was easily one of the best teachers I've taken at fscj. He not only made the lectures fun, but also helped us to understand the information.

Accounting is a tougher subject for most, but you'll have a better chance of succeeding if you take Professor Neil. He is very thoughtful, passionate about his teachings, and an overall really cool guy. He tries his best to not make the lectures boring and is straight-forward. Go to class for an hour, ask questions, and you will be fine.

Taking Professor Schreiber's class is one of the best decisions a student could make if they're required to take accounting at FSCJ. He is thoughtful and meticulous about the way he communicates with his students, and he also strives to help people genuinely understand the intricacies of accounting (not just learn the textbook material).

He is amazing at teaching the subject and very interactive with the students. He quickly responds to emails, and all the homework and tests/exams are online. The only thing I struggled with was the Excel questions; the formulas can get confusing. But overall a great teacher! I am retaking him for managerial accounting!

Accounting is hard and boring, but his lectures are so interesting and funny and very well explained. Take this class!

This online course was challenging but the professor helps a lot. Responds to email quickly and willing to break anything down for you. Class isn't necessarily mandatory unless you want to understand the homework at all. He engages well in class and is very understanding.

He was an awesome teacher, and he gave great lectures. His class was very easy as long as you do the work! Definity recommend taking his class.

The Professor provided details about every class before the class date to ensure you are prepared. His information delivery was valuable, ensuring we had every opportunity to retain the information and succeed. I had surgery during the class. He made sure that I had every chance to pass the class and I'm grateful for the type of person he is.

The professor was super energetic and passionate about teaching. Material gets tougher as the class progresses - take notes, do homework, ask questions. If you're worried about taking this class I would definitely recommend taking it with Schreiber because he reassures you on material and homework when you get stuck on a problem. Good luck!

As great as the professor is, the workload would be my only complaint. It's all through McGraw Hill, and this was the type of class where you have to do a little bit of work every day in order to finish by the due date. It as overwhelming at first, but in due time I was able to practice the skills and get thru faster.

I have heard many people complain about how hard this course is. One of my friends actually had such a hard time with this course that they ended up failing it. Unfortunately for them they did not have professor Schreiber. The material can be boring at times but he does a great job of keeping it interesting. I couldn't recommend him more.

This is an entertaining teacher that keeps you entertained enough to understand and pay attention to what is being taught. He will answer any questions you have, even if it may not seem that smart of a question. Almost everything the teacher teaches in the lecture will be on homework and tests.

Awesome professor that cares about you understanding accounting. I feel I do have a better grasp with it. Professor Schreiber breaks it down to the best ability that he can an makes it fun as well. Great class, worth waking up at 9am every Saturday.

Great professor and he treats his students with kindness. He is also very understanding and knows some students have jobs or even kids to take care of so he offers extra credit or even allows you to do a meeting and discuss expectations. I highly suggest this Professor Schreiber.

He was able to use small things like a piece of paper and pass it around to people to get his point across. he used a lot of props in his class and i would say that it greatly helped me because I am a visual learner.

Professor Schreiber is a great professor. He goes over everything you need to know in the class lectures. He is very energetic and keeps you listening in class. There is three homework assignments a week and three total exams. I had an in class lecture but all assignments and tests are done online at home.

You will learn the fundamentals of accounting if you are willing to put in the time. The lectures are great, however, if a lot of words overwhelm you it is difficult to follow in some chapters. I love his grading system. If you are willing to put in the time it is an easy "A" class.

Professor works hard to make accounting as interesting as he possibly can. Each week is 3 assignments on McGraw hill. He does not have an overall test but has exams for each section which is super helpful for people who are just bad at accounting. Really personable and reasonable.

I personally thought the professor was awesome at making a topic that can seemed overwhelming to understand enjoyable and easy. He used wide range of real world applicable examples to aid the different individuals from the class to include their different levels of understanding. Although there is a textbook, it's online and McGraw is used. Even though attendance isn't necessary, you'll get more out of it if you do attend.

Professor Shreiber is the best professor I've had at FSCJ. The content can be difficult, but he posts weekly overviews of the chapter we will be working on that week. Responds very quickly to questions and explains problems in a simple way. Make sure to sign up for his classes EARLY, they fill up super quickly, and for good reason.

Syllabus and weekly work are straightforward, practice exams (non graded) available for test prep, and extra credit for a grade boost. Professor Schreiber has made ACG 2071 Managerial Accounting a breeze. His 15-week online course is stress-free, with weekly assignments in sets of three: one video, one homework, and one SB. As someone taking four classes, I appreciated not being overloaded. His teaching abilities are exceptional, and he always made sure to be available for help.

Professor Schreiber is easy to get a hold of and responds to emails and canvas messages pretty fast. If you're stuck, he helps you. His class is graded mainly off the homework assignments so if you bomb a test you don't have to stress out. Overall, his class is a 7/10 for ease. I do recommend.

Professor Schreiber is without a doubt one of the best professors I have had to date. I like him so well I picked him for the next class i have to take. You wont regret taking his class. My low grade is due to my own lack of dedication.

The material can be a bit difficult, but McGraw Hill is great at step by step instructions. Weekly assignments consist of Videos, Homework, and Reading. Don't wait until the last minute, it easy but can be overwhelming if you procrastinate. Exams are really easy, open book is always a plus! If you have any questions, the professor is very punctual!

The workload was exactly what I expected. The assignments were manageable, not too hard, but not too easy either. To succeed, you need to study and read the material to understand the assignments fully. Overall, it was a good class, and I would definitely take another course with this professor in the future.

Professor Schreiber has made ACG 2071 easy. I took it as the 15-week online course, broken into three weekly assignments: one homework, one SB question assignment, and one concept overview video. Being a full-time online student, I never felt overwhelmed. His lectures were easy to sit through as long as some students were willing to participate.

It does require study time and a couple hours for homework for each week, but the concepts are given through the homework's so if you start early his lectures basically explain all the questions you'll have. Super nice and genuine professor who is really passionate about his students learning. He includes everybody and his examples are hilarious.

I took this class online. Professor Schreiber consistently sent out announcements with any information we needed to know. Minimal problems but when I did, he was quick to respond to my email and was willing to extend grace. Overall, no complaints about this class. I will be taking this professor again for the remainder of my accounting classes.

For this course there are 3 assignments a week: Smart book questions (15 points), Concept overview videos (10 points) and Ch Homework (30 points). It can be a lot of work but its not hard, he gives material each week to help with the assignments.

I hate accounting. I won't state how many times I've taken this class with other professors and dropped but he has been the absolute best considering how homework heavy each class has to be to learn the material. I am also old and not tech savvy.

I took two classes with Prof. Schreiber. Take this class! Online/in person classes are engaging and interactive. H.W., smartbook, and concept videos due per section and three open book exams on McGraw Hill. Gives helpful handouts that are used during class, light reading, a few opportunities for bonus points, overall great class. Learned a lot!

Very decent professor. Most assignments are Chapter Overview Video Questions, Chapter Homework (includes spreadsheets), and Smartbook Questions. You get 2-3 attempts. Provides extra credit assignments towards the end of the course. Can ask for extensions (not on Smartbooks though, they're external). Just stick to the deadlines and you'll pass.

Very helpful and respectful professor. Tests are not proctored but some timed. As long as you do your homework, study, and complete every assignment on time you will do great!

I took class online this past fall semester and the professor made the online lectures very engaging. Checking in with students and keeping an open chat and made students feel comfortable with asking questions. Definitely would take another class with this professor! There is a good amount of homework but nothing impossible!

Do yourself a favor and take professor Schreiber in any class he offers. He doesn't try to trick you with exams and makes sure you understand the material before moving forward. Prof. Schreiber is an amazing teacher. I took the online class with weekly meeting because accounting is not one of my best subjects. He was very detailed and thorough with his lectures and gave great examples to the point where you can easily understand the lectures.I received a good grade and I highly suggest for every student to take his class.

Enjoyed the class I did a 7 week accelerated course solely online. Workload was fair, pretty easy A, I was traveling during my final and submitted it without it being fully complete still got an A because I did well on everything else. Definitely pick him.

I took an online class through McGraw Hill. Work was due every Sunday, and he did give me an extension when I needed it. There are 3 big exams for the course, related to what was on the homework. I am not a good math or number person but the class was fairly simple and expectations were clear. I would take this professor again.

Subject matter was fairly difficult, but still easy to pass. Weekly Concept overview videos, smart book questions, & HW assignments on McGraw Hill. 3 exams and up to 24 extra credit points available. 3 attempts on HW (+ hint videos) and 2 attempts on Concept Overview. There are also exam practice problems for each exam. Assignments due on Friday

This was the best class I have taken at FSCJ. His course work for accounting was 3 assignments per week but it was easy to make a 100 on everything and open note exams!

Professor Schreiber was honestly one of the best professor. He is really funny and makes learning accounting really fun. It was a struggle for me a little with the excel questions but that is because I am not the greatest at accounting but the way he teaches makes it understandable even for me.

This class was the best class ever and this professor was amazing and I love when he would have stories to tell that goes along with what we would learn in the real world. Also this professor not only goes with the book but he also gives you real life situations to learn about . He makes sure you understand everything that you learn about.

Professor Schreiber is great, he is straightforward with his expectations and grading policy. I felt it was homework heavy, but it is to make sure you are understanding the material. You can tell he wants his students to understand the material and to succeed in his course.

whether ACG2021 is required for your major or not, please do yourself a favor and take this class. No big projects, everything is very clear and the course has a consistent workload the whole time. The class is graded on HW every week and 3 non cumulative exams. not much more to say, his ratings are definitely deserved.

Professor Scheiber is an outstanding and passionate professor. He wants his students to succeed. No cumulative final, per se ("accounting is cumulative by nature"). Takes the time to answer questions, both during and out of class time, if there is a concept you are not quite grasping.

Professor Schreiber is a great professor. Each week you only have three assignments on McGraw Hill and as long as you attended class that week the assignments should be easy w/ 3 tests. He wants everybody to be successful in his class and he will randomly call on students (pay attention). I would take any accounting class he offers in the future.

This was my third time taking this class and I'm glad I had him as my professor. This is a heavy workload class and he made it very easy, he actually treats his students like people and not numbers.

He's a great professor, he is a bit lecture heavy however he involves students whether its using them as examples or asking questions. He responds to messages fast typically no matter what time it is and wants to help you understand the concepts.

Professor Neil's lectures are understandable & hilarious, and he will go over something if need be! Attendance is somewhat mandatory; you need the lectures to understand the assignments. His assignments are not difficult unless you miss many lectures. He includes handouts in most classes that help with the assignments. Read every word, they matter!

The class is difficult and covers a lot of material, but Professor Schreiber makes the lectures interesting and engaging. If you complete all the assignments and study hard for the exams, you'll do well. There's also plenty of opportunity for extra credit, which I recommend taking advantage of. This professor is not only one of the best I've had at FSCJ but he is has a big sense of humor that lighten up his lectures. The only thing I would warn you about is that if you have to take his class online as a lecture be ready to be ON CAMERA. I got used to it but I know some people do not like it. This class is super easy to pass. The homework and exams are all online. He has a large availability of office hours if you're struggling as well as extra credit. Most of his homework have hints if you get stuck that show you how to do it. He is very understanding and has funny lectures. He truly loves his subject and enjoys student connections.

This is not a challenging class, and this professor wants to see you win. I would absolutely retake this class without a doubt in my mind. If I could fill my whole schedule with just this teacher, I would, just because of his energy, mindset, and overall treatment of students. Professor Schreiber is very thorough and requires participation in his live online classes. He is intentional and is prepared to work with you to understand the topics. During class, he checks-in with everyone every 30 minutes or so to see if we are following or need help. I would take his class again.

He was one of the best professors I had. Glad to have had him for my first year of college. I wouldn't say that the work was easy, but he was almost always available at any time of the day to answer questions about the assignments + he gives lots of opportunities to earn EC. I don't know why scores under 4 were given to this instructor! The work is not extremely difficult; it simply takes time. Participation is required but he is so incredibly supportive, to all learning styles and ages. He is very savvy with Canvas and online teaching yet not overwhelming for those rusty with technology. Easy communication. Engaging.

Professor Schreiber is an excellent instructor. He really makes an effort to involve everyone in each class meeting. He is always available and will do everything he can to help students understand the material. I highly recommend this instructor—I would definitely take a class with him again!
