He's a practicing attorney and interjects interesting and sometimes funny stories of cases into his lectures. He is somewhat scattered and wordy in his lectures, though, but he goes above and beyond what is expected to make sure you have an opportunity to learn and do well.

Good teacher, has relevant cases from his own work to relate to the material. Learned a lot about IP Law. Recommended

Mr. Wilkinson is very fair in grading tests. He takes forever to post grades and does not return test papers. He posts his lecture notes on WebCT after each lecture. Use the lecture notes to study and read the chapters and you will ace the tests. He doesn't take attendance but I HIGHLY recommend you attend each class.

Great Teacher; Very Organized; Gives you all his notes; gives take home tests which make up your complete grade; take home tests consist of multiple choice, true/false and essay(which are extra credit). He likes it when you go to class and won't give a final if you do. Basically, do take home tests with the book, go to class, and you'll get an A

He's the man. Everybody in my class made an "A" Kindof boring at times. Take home tests. They are kind of hard but he gives mad extra credit. Gotta take him.

Great professor! Tests are take-home, kinda hard, but you have the book! His lectures are slow at times, but he tells really funny stories about cases he's worked (he's a lawyer). Really smart, you can tell he loves the subject. He does really good relating the material to real life. Classes aren't mandatory but he gives extra credit.

Awesome Professor!! Take-Home Tests and tons of extra credit! Make sure to do the essay questions on the take-home exams, they are not mandatory, but they are worth lots of extra credit! I had a C going into the final and because of all the extra credit essay's on the final I came out with an A in the class!! He's the best out there!!

Great guy. Knew his stuff. All tests were take home and for the most part straight from the book. Gives tons of extra credit. Go to class and listen and interact, it helps. Definitely have the text book, you WILL use it.

Mr. Wilkinson is fatastic! All the tests are take-home 100 questions M/C and T/F with 3 easy short answer/essay bonus questions. He gives extra credit for attendance. You don't need to attend, but he is so entertaining it would be a shame to miss. Buy the book!

Excellent professor. Easy A, 4 tests on line you need the book for sure because the answers to the test are taken right from it. He will give you 5 days to complete the test on line at home with open book. The lectures are great; he is very funny and he gives extra points for being in class. Take this class for the entertaining and the EASY A.

Great Professor. He's an attorney,so he tells alot of funny/interesting story about his past cases. Attendance is not mandatory, but he will give extra credit for students who show up. Gave 2 online tests, they were HARD, he give 7 days to complete the tests.

3 open book tests online you have 1 week to take them with unlimited time so I literally looked up every single answer, no attendance policy. Definitely need text book, but easy A if you take time on the tests.

This is the easiest class in the world, not to mention the professor is SO AWSOME. He's a lawyer so he tells you about his cool court cases. This is the best possible scenario: Easy Tests, Fun Stories, Easy Extra Credit, no attendance, you couldn't make this class better!

Very easy class, fun discussions. The guy tells great stories and provides excellent feedback on the tests, which are open-book, open-note, and very easy. Detailed notes given after each class. Heck of a nice guy, too.

Simply the man! Prof. Wilkinson is the coolest teacher you can take at Kennesaw. The material in this class would otherwise be extremely difficult if not for the professor. We had 4 tests, all online (so you can use the text), and you get roughly 5 days to take the exam. The tests were 100 mc with 3 essays which were extra credit.

Took Dr. W for Intellectual Property. Hands down, the best professor I've had at KSU. Respects you as professionals and understands if you have to miss a class. He is an AWESOME teacher! We did use the text book, but he provided ppts, and outlines for each chapter. (The material is harder if your are not in class for the discussions) A small part of my grade was for participation. We used the information we learned to write two papers (mid-term and final)which accounted for the majority of our grade.

(took in spring)-Great teacher! Provided ppt and outlines for textbook. The final grade was based on (2-3) take home tests that he would give you 5 day to work on. They were hard, don't want till the last minute to try to complete them. Hope to take him again for another BLAW class!

This is the professor to take. You get 4 tests, all online. No attendance and you'll see hardly anyone attends class in the end, but he does give extra credit to those that do. All tests are 100 points, multiple choice, have a week to complete online, with 3 essay questions worth 30 points extra credit. He even gave everyone a 100 on the final exam

This class is VERY easy! You will get an A. Attendance is not mandatory, don't need to buy the book. 4 tests all online. He is a very nice professor, he does everything he can to help you.

You get usually 5-6 days to complete with unlimited amount of time to look@ it within that time frame. 100 ?s each. 3 bonus free response questions at the end of each test worth a total of 30 points. May not even have to take 4th test for A He knows his stuff and is a nice man.

This is literally the easiest class I have ever taken. There are 4 open book online tests and on top of that, for each test, there are 3 bonus questions worth 10 points each. I had so many bonus points I was exempt from the final. DO show up for class, though. He takes off points for absences. I made a solid 114% in this class.

I took this professor for BLAW 2200 and loved his course. This one was set up a bit different but still overall pretty easy. Tests are 100 questions Multiple Choice and TrueFalse. The test was curved since ethics can be interpreted differently. You have 3 tests and a final which was an easy essay.

Prof Wilkinson runs a very clear class. He's very upfront about what he wants. He lectures basically from the book but throws in great stories from his law days. 4 100 question tests that are pretty tough, but manageable. Go to class, you'll learn a lot.

Lectures are long and just plain lectures of him speaking, no PPTs, videos, or anything. He is interesting to listen to and has a lot of real-life stories that can be humorous. He's very nice!

His tests are online, open-note, and he emails you the notes. He does expect you to show up "most of the time" (what it says in the syllabus), or he'll take points off your tests. In other words, show up most of the time (you don't even have to pay attention), sign the attendance sheet, and you'd have to be stupid not to get an A. Take him.

Easy teacher. He likes to ramble on once you get him going about law. You lose focus but he's interesting. No homework, go to class most of the time and you'll pass.

This was by far one of the easiest professors I have had in college. His lectures can be hard to get through, but they are not mandatory. He always posts his notes on D2L when he's done going over the chapter in class. Only four tests throughout the semester and all are taken online and fairly easy. I definitely recommend taking him.

Wilkinson is the best! He hands out extra points like it's candy. I really enjoyed this class and the tests were open book and online. The final wasn't a conventional final but instead was a debate. We formed teams and had to debate a topic with another team. This is the second time I've taken him and made A's both times. Attendance IS mandatory.

I loved Prof. Wilkinson! Boring lectures but he tried to make them fun. You have to have the book to pass. Don't bother with notes, the tests only cover the book. Tests were easy, open note and online. Plus on average 5 days to complete them. And usually no class on test day!

All of the tests were administered online and outlines of his lectures were posted on D2L. His lectures consist of him just talking about cases he's worked on that are consistent to what you are learning. He is awesome and has so many experiences to share with you.

Professor W was a great BLAW teacher. He definitely has a lot of length lectures but he likes to crack jokes as well. Most exams are online and he is pretty generous with grading. The only tough aspect of class was mandatory attendance.

Only reason to go to class is the attendance sheet, which he starts passing around halfway through the class. Overall easy A if you show up and do the tests in a timely manner. Can get up to 120 points on a 500 point scale in extra credit.

Love this guy. Wonderful personality and makes the class easy. I am a BLAW minor so this was very convenient for me. He has 3 online tests which most answers are on quizlets and those are basically all the grades.

His class was easy. All the test answers are online and he keeps the test open for 5 days which helps if you work. He takes attendance every class. Proffersor gives good feedback if you have any law questions. He wants everyone to do well.

Professor Wilkinson is really sweet and his tests are pretty easy. Make sure to go to class because attendance counts for a grade. The only negative I have to say is that the tests are REALLY long.

Nothing but lectures, 4 tests online with extra credit essays. Attendance is also graded and is worth 1/5 of the class. Really easy, I didn't even get the book and got a 110% in the class.

I loved this professor. Definitely a gem. Caring and lenient if you communicate with him. All 4 test are online with a chance of extra credit for each one. Impossible to get less than a B. Only cons are the lengthy 100 question exams and he's a tad bit on the heavy lecture side but he slides some humor in. Attendance is mandatory but not crucial.

This is probably my favorite professor that I've taken here at KSU. He is super funny and made the class fun. He's very chill and easily accessible outside of class while being very understanding.

Easily the most understanding and accommodating professor for BLAW. Take him no matter the time slot because he gives a total of 30 extra potential points for each test (making 120!!) in a 500pt class!! (4 tests and attendance 100 pts each) Tests are open note with multiple days open as he understands the "working adult and college" life.. EASY A!!

one of the first professors I have had at KSU who truly cares about his students and their success I would take professor Wilkinson class 100 more times you go into his class and you leave feeling like for once in your life you have gotten something useful out of class that can help you in life.

He is a great guy with some interesting stories about his lawyering. 4 tests, all 100 points+30 extra points possible on essay questions, making it a possible 130 points for each test. Then, attendance is 100 points. you can not show up and do excellent on the tests, but it is a safe bet to come to class, raise your hand once, and be golden. Take.

You only have 4 tests for the semester which are all online with no lockdown browser. All the test answers can be found directly in the textbook. Plus, he gives 30 points extra credit for each test if you do the short essays. This class is an easy A, no other assignments just the test. Definitely take him if you get the chance. I needed an elective outside my major to finish up my degree and came across negotiations. Prof. Wilkinson is enthusiastic about his teachings and genuinely wants everyone to succeed. His lectures are interesting and filled with real life stories. One of the only classes at KSU where I felt I left with an actual skill. Good class/prof. to take!

Took Prof Wilkinson for BLAW 4300 to finish my degree and wish I had the chance to take more of his classes. Interesting material, easy tests, he likes when you show up to class online. Did not even use the textbook once! 10/10 Would take again.

Extremely nice guy. If you show up to class and participate, you will pass with flying colors. He is not a fan of people skipping class though and will have the class do a pop-essay for credit if people are skipping. If you don't have a problem making it to class, definitely take him! Not to mention you'll leave having learned a valuable skill!

With the EC and attendance, ended with 105%. Take his class, he's great!

Really funny guy that made BLAW so much more manageable. Four 100 question tests with extra credit for essay questions. Attendance was mandatory with sign in sheet, which I felt was unnecessary because lectures are online, but I do understand since there is so much content to get through. Apparently he gives pop quizzes when class doesn't show up.

If you take this guy it'll be the easiest A you've ever gotten and for BLAW come on now take this guy. His class is only attendance and 4 tests. I took him in Fall 2021, but I ran into him on campus recently. He is really kind. He tells stories in a very interesting way and is not as pretentious as some law profs I've had before. He will do the occasional pop quiz or paragraph if he thinks you're not paying attention. Otherwise, lovely. Wish I could take his classes again.

He is a great teacher. His lectures are helpful and fun, and he is very knowledgeable. He is a great guy but I wish he had someone to help him with the technology side of things. He rarely answers his emails & it is kind of frustrating because you will not know your grade until after the semester is over. 4 tests, each 100 questions, and open-note.

This professor is so freaking awesome, if you have the chance to get into his class, TAKE IT!! Very lecture heavy, but if you participate the class will really liven up and become a lot of fun. He is a good blaw professor and does not make the class hard. There are also extra credit opportunities with each test.
