He is awesome!

Western Civilization. Easy class, easy teacher. You can easily get an A and not learn anything. He is a really smart guy though, and if you are interested in the subject and WANT to learn, you can learn a lot from him. You can definitely tell he is a newbie professor, but he has promise. I enjoyed his class overall.

He is a great teacher who made a course that I had never really enjoyed interesting. His class brings a new light to history. His class is one of the best history classes that I have ever taken.

One of the greatest history teachers I've ever had. He is a great man and has nothing but good intentions for his students. Actually try in his class because he deserves it. Just because the class is easy doesn't mean you have to slack off. He is very intelligent and you can learn a lot from him if you pay attention.

Professor Beaulieu is a phenomenal professor. He makes class enjoyable by relating to the students, and he is also great at teaching in a relative way. If you show up, pay some attention, and do the few tasks that he asks, you'll learn a lot while having fun.

This was my second class with Mr. Beaulieu and it was great. The class was easy, but it is amazing how much I retained. Mr. B is easily one of my favorite teachers.

Professor B is probably the best teacher that I have had at CFCC. I already love history, but if one doesn't already love it, you will after you take his class. His requirements are to show up to class and to do his assignments (write a 3 page paper on Romans... etc.) I would HIGHLY recommend this class.

I have always disliked History and was dreading taking it. Mr. B made it extremely interesting and fun!! I actually looked forward to going to his class. I now have an interest in History and have highly recommended him to future students. He is a 100% awesome teacher!!!

He makes history interesting. His love for history rubs off to his students. He is more concerned with the big picture rather then specific dates, which is a good thing. He e-mails all the class notes so everyone can learn and be prepared for class. I would recommend this teacher to anyone.

He is a great instructor. He makes history interesting by relating it to the present and constantly pointing out that the events we study are relevant to issues we face today. He is willing to help and approachable. The class is pretty easy. If you show up and read the material you will get an A.

He was an amazing professor. I was not particularly excited to take Western Civ but after a week in his class I was loving it. He tells you how it is and then throws random interesting things in there to really spice up the class. He might just be my favorite teacher at CFCC.

by far the easiest class ever. Easy A. All we did was take 3 exams which he gave us the answers to and 3 essays. It's super easy. Make sure you don't buy the textbook. you won't need it.

Prof B. is awesome. Read assignments and start your papers early and you will love his class.

When I first saw him, I thought, "Yeah, this is going to be a good class cause he's hot." It is a pretty good class, you just have to listen and make an effort. Not a class you can slack in. You have to study. But he answers questions and helps you if you need it. And he's lenient in some cases of attendance.

He is very understanding to your personal life. I took his class during the summer. We had 5 assignments all were essays and he allowed you to turn in the assignment late because it was the SUMMER !! He helps out a lot and is very open minded to your opinion

Really awesome teacher, so far my favorite at the college. Just gives lectures every class, which are actually pretty interesting and funny. All you have to do is look at the study guide for his tests and write his pretty simple essays and you should come out with an A. You can also skip half his classes if you want; he rarely takes attendance.

He is a nice guy that likes to be a bit humorous. He gave about five assignments over the course of the semester. Half essays and half tests. He was nice about assignments, and he was a little lenient about attendance. It was fun, and I would take it again.

He really helps you when you are behind and need a miracle to pass.

Best history teacher I have had. Teaches something other than "the white man's perspective". It really opened my eyes to different views. Also, his tests are cakewalk, because he just makes sure you retain the general umbrella of information. Its more of a lecture based class, but in an enjoyable way!

American Government was a breeze with Mr. B. The tests are easy if you study the study guide, and he goes over it in class as well. If you pay attention you'll easily obtain extra credit, and you'll also be given many opportunities to obtain more. There are papers you will have to turn in with tests, but they are always easy (usually 2 pages).

Beaulieu is an amazing professor and all around a great guy! You can tell he genuinely cares about the students and is passionate about both history and politics. He makes class very interesting and teaches you to actually think and understand rather than just lecturing. Would definitely recommend and take again!

One of the best instructors at this institution! Mr. B is awesome! Very helpful with making sure you understand the material, very open minded, flexible with grades, flexible with attendance, does an outstanding job with intriguing students to listen to lectures, very easy and FUN course! However, he can get off topic easily. TAKE this course!

Great class to take and gives good chances to get extra credit. Doesn't just teach what is required but really puts it into real world situations. really look forward to this class every day.

If you are taking online, be prepared for weekly discussion posts and responses to classmates. I seriously finish them in like an hour and it is never hard. Be prepared to think critically. He wants to hear new ideas and thoughts, not the basic stuff you learned in high school. When writing propose a new idea and back it up. Pretty easy A TBH.

Mr B has made my views on state & federal level governments more open, to approach political and social issues w/ an open mind and not to be so quick to judge. If I had to take another political science course, I'd see if Mr B was teaching that class and jump on board!

I absolutely love Beaulieu! It's a fairly easy class, but it's a great class. He is inspiring and funny. Two semesters later I see him around and occasionally talk to him. I know he can't remember my name at all, but I don't care!

Mr. B is on of the Best teachers I've ever had, he's passionate and intelligent. I have taken PLS and HST classes with him. Anyone that rates him poorly clearly just doesn't care about the subjects, I will admit he has a very laid back teaching style. Also if you get the chance to go on a "field trip" with him just do it.

Mr. B is the man! I took his mini-session in the summer and had a great time in his class. He relies heavily on in-class discussions and asks you questions, but he'll show a lot of youtube videos and movies in class too. We had a couple tests, but they were open-note and pretty straightforward, and we only had one essay in the entire course. 10/10

Excellent teacher! I didn't realize how much history interest me. Lots of writing but so worth it. I took it online, although I did put some work to it, he was very lenient with due dates. I walked away knowing I learned a thing or two. If youre a slacker... hmm, don't bother.

Very passionate about not only the subject but teaching it as well. Fun interactive lectures and class setting. Not too much coursework if you just stay on top of it. Lectures are more class discussions about his slide shows and notes.

Mr. B is amazing. His lectures are important and he gives you time to ask questions. I took two of his classes one semester and they were my favorite classes ever at CFCC.

Mr. B gave us his time, his intellect and his humor! He is very knowledgeable of the material and I left with a sense of pride knowing more when I exited the class, than when I arrived. Extremely recommend taking a course with him. You will not regret it.

Great professor. Paper heavy instead of test, however he said he's be changing that. Textbook was only really useful for one test. Don't skip class.

Mr. B is the best! Really easy to get extra credit as long as you participate in discussions. He does not use the book, though it is useful for studying for tests. All around stand up guy, passionate about his job and his subject he teaches, and POL 120 with him was one of the best classes I've taken so far at CFCC.

If you have the opportunity to take any of Mr. B's classes take them! He is very down to earth with his style of teaching. He is very laid back and not hard on attendance. He actually enjoys his job it definitely reflects in class time. You never have to take notes or really study to pass. He does not make you memorize dates or anything. TAKE HIM!!

Never took notes in his class. Had about three papers but they were super easy. Our class got off topic every time but we had some pretty good discussions.

Mr. B was very easy to get along with during COVID. He dropped a lot of his earlier requirements and worked with every student in order to get us to all pass the class. He was also always available for video chat or to help with anything. This is someone who believes in students and shows it every day. He's a good man and someone who I look up to.

GET READY TO WATCH JOHN OLIVER EVERY CLASS. Mr. B is a freaking awesome guy and his class is very laid back and he offered a large portion of class for open discussion regarding what we had gone over that day. If you enjoy politics, you MUST take this instructor because he is passionate and also not judgemental about your views.

I enjoyed taking POL 120 with Mr.B so I then took World Civ 2. He's a good teacher. I definitely prefer him more online. The class is very essay driven. 500-word discussion boards weekly and two 250 word responses to classmates. Your major test grades are two essays. I enjoy writing but I wouldn't recommend if you don't want to write a lot.

Professor Beaulieu was one of the best professors I have ever had. Hes cool as hell and the work doesnt feel like work because he allows you to be creative and expressive in your writing. Dope teacher if you go to CFCC take a class with him.

I took Mr. Beaulieus HIS132 class online for Spring semester. He does a good job teaching the material even though the class I took was online. He has you watch documentaries sometimes instead of reading which was a nice change. The course is graded entirely on discussion boards and tests. He is a very hard grader which was sometimes frustrating!

Mr. B is an amazing professor. I learned a lot throughout his course and he gave clear and concise feedback for each and every assignment. I felt that I left the class as a better student with new information I will use throughout my college career. Definitely take his American Gov course or any of his classes if you get the chance!

One of my favorite professors. His lectures are entertaining, he's extremely knowledgeable, and he likes getting his students involved. He tells you exactly what to study for tests, so as long as you put in the effort, the class is a breeze. 10/10.

Professor Beaulieu, is overall a pretty cool teacher. I had him for a summer class, and honestly easy. All you had to do was read the textbook and answer the discussion board post. He's a bit of a hard grader, due to wanting to see effort into the post and not some mindless get-it-done type of work. But great Professor

Mr. Beaulieu was an amazing instructor. Everything that was graded was given such good feedback. The instructions for the discussion boards are very clear and his grading criteria are outlined from Day 1. I had him online over the summer and he made everything fun and interesting.

I LOVED Mr. B! Right off the bat he wants to teach you everything he can. He did not give a lot of assignments, but when we did have assignments they were big. For example, papers, debates, etc. I enjoyed his class and would really recommend his class if you're interested in American Government, or the history of the U.S.

Took the online class. All that was required was to respond with a written response once a week, with the occasional test. Everything is written response, only variable is the required word count. As long as you can read, write, and quote a textbook, this class is an easy A and gives a great understanding of history.

class is very easy, he is a super passionate teacher. i honestly do my homework for other classes while he lectures. assignments are VERY easy, only 4 for the whole semester. super easy grader and gives you great feedback. i really recommend him, he is really nice!

Mr. B is funny and down to earth. He encourages class discussion and emphasizes civil discourse, staying respectful even with controversial issues. He is passionate about political science and he will inspire you to love learning itself. Be prepared to write papers for most of your grade, but he is a fair grader and it's easy if you participate.

I had Professor Beaulieu online for back to back semesters in 2021, HIS 111 in the spring and POL 120 in the summer. He's an awesome guy and his classes are awesome too. He's highly knowledgeable in his field and gives you every opportunity to succeed in his class and get an A. I love history and so I enjoyed his discussion boards and lesson videos

He was truly wonderful and understanding. He makes it clear that if you need extra time, to simply email him in advance. Though his tests are simply 3-4 page papers, they are easy and if you are familiar with the topics, they are a breeze to write. It's an easy class, the only down thing is he uses Inquizitives.

Professor is super nice and the class is really easy. He always reads and responds to assignments and it's nice to know the work you spend time and energy on is being read and appreciated. He always grades based off content rather than nitpicking grammar rules.

He is a great professor to take online. Everything is laid out from the beginning so you know when things like quizzes are coming up. It's a very simple class with discussion boards and readings as any history class and he tries to make it easy for us who are online and not in lecture. If you are taking something online, he's your guy.
