Oh, and she gives weekly quizzes over each chapter which is very helpful and makes it easier to study. Do yourself a favor and TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

Dr. Kowai-Bell is one of the best professors I have ever had. She is very nice and understanding. She always answers your questions and she is easy to understand. She gives weekly quizzes which made it easy for me to pass and she goes over them. I wish I could take my next psych class with her but she only teaches this one. TAKE HER CLASS!

Great professor! She makes her lectures very interesting and informative. Everything that she teaches about is applicable to every day life and improving it. Very enjoyable class but you must pay attention. Tests are pretty hard - not just defining terms but you really have to be able to understand and apply the material to situations.

I don't know what these people are talking about, Dr. Bell's class was soooo easy. She explains exactly what you need to know in her outline. If you attend every class and pay attention you don't even need to book. She doesn't respond much to class discussions probably because they take up too much class time - I mean come on, it's psychology.

She was extremely helpful, very clear on criteria. expect to do a 2-5 min presentation in front of the class and a one page paper.

Took her for social psychology. Has to be the easiest class I've ever taken in college. We took like a dozen vocab quizzes throughout the semester that were easy 100's, most of it was common sense. Literally never even had to study. Her grading criteria makes this class wayyy too easy. Shes also very nice and friendly, definitely recommend.

She cares about students, drops the lowest grade in class exams and mandatory final exam. 5 min presentation which requires very less preparation. Mc Grawhill assignments every week. If interested in easy A she is the best. She is very understanding and fair. It might be difficult to call her the best but she is definitely one of the very good ones

I dont know what anyone is taking about on previous ratings, she is not rude, she is the NICEST person i have ever met, she promotes respect and empathy just like any psychologist, though she does make her tests a bit harder than the should be, but if you study the reviews and have a good learning foundation you should be more than fine taking her

Organized, tests are completely based on the powerpoints which makes them easy to ace. Easy A if you study your notes. She makes class fun and interesting, I actually look forward to it!

gotta say shes very organized and chill. take notes from her powerpoints and study them you should be fine for her tests . she assigns some online homework, do it because its really helpfull. overall class is easy.i got a B. just show up to class on time, pay attention& take notes.

Great class to take. The syllabus is clear and it is totally possible to pass the course. Great lectures and comfortable environment.

You will find weekly homeworks, papers and 4 tests before the finals (she drops the lowest one). If you do all the homework and attend to class, you will do good on the tests as they are not so hard and she covers everything is on the test. I like here, she is professional, smart and open to talk if you need to. Highly recommended!

Do not miss out on her class. She is one of the best professors Ive ever taken ! As long as you do the online homework and the project (which is very simple) you will be just fine. She truly cares about you as an individual, and I respect her greatly. If she could be my professor for all of my classes Id be happy.

THis is one of the best classes i have taken. This professor makes you feel like you and your classmates are a community. I would definitely recommend her to other students and i would love to take another class with her.

Dr. K is awesome and I recommend everyone who needs a psychology course to take her! She is always available to her students and her class is very well structured. It is clear what is required from you for every exam and paper. If you do your work you will do well in the course.

Dr. Neneh Kowai-Bell is very knowledgeable and when her lectures are precise and as a student, I like her very much because she can relate the topic to your personal situations and she can explain them clearly. Dr.K is a great lecturer that thoroughly explains the material given. She isn't a hard grader, and her tests are easy and understandable, if you attend class. Also, her activities are one of the things I enjoyed most in her class because it helped me grasp the concepts. 10/10 would recommend.

The criteria/syllabus is very CLEAR! Your hand will not be held like a baby. Its best to read whatever will be the topic for next for class (study tip). Sometimes she can seem a little dry or snappy when asking a question.. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING PERSONAL. If you are lazy, overscheduled or just too busy DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Failing is on you.

Was very dynamic and very willing to tie her discussion topics into everyday life and situations. No photos allowed, you need to take your own notes

Try not to miss class her lectures are good & very informative but she doesn't put the power points online (I assume bc of copyright from McGraw-Hill). She makes her grading criteria and assignments very clear in the syllabus. Sometimes even goes out of her way to remind students. If you're a responsible student you will have an easy and fun time.

All assignments posted were very helpful. If you have any questions, she really takes the time to make things clear. You didnt have to come to class but her lectures were very helpful

Took her for Social Psychology. Such a fun class! Teaches lecture based, and invites class participation- although not required. Exams are fair, just study. She cares about your well being, will give project extensions if needed.

You have to try hard to fail this class tbh, I barely used he textbook and she gives a great abundance of extra credit

I Have taken her in the past for intro psych and loved the way she taught so Much I took her again for social psychology. Lectures are very informative. She makes jokes so its not boring. Exams are clear. Quizzes on keyterms every week, simple and easy. Take her and you wont regret it! P.S tons of extra credit online

If you put effort in doing your work you will pass. Studying helps to memorize vocabulary. Lectures are interesting. She has good humor. Good profesor.

Hi everyone. With Dr. K. you'll really learn. Earn points for 11 weekly quizzes. About 11 key terms per Ch. quiz. Quizzes serve as guides for 4 semester exams and the final. 3 quizzes per exam. Very simple, study the key terms and get points for it plus by the time you have each exam you have the knowledge to do well. 1 project paper, + xtra credit

I took psyc 2301 online. If you are interested in fast pace studying and assignments due almost every day this is the class for you. Lovely teacher but the course work is somewhat difficult if you don't read the chapter.

This professor strategy is great makes class very interesting and enjoyable. 11 quizzes total. 9 count for your grade, 2 for extra credit. Seems like a lot but is really not becuse the key terms in the quizzes are like reviews for the tests. 4 exams, drops lowest grade and gives plenty extra credit opportunities. Take her, you will learn a lot

Dr. K's class is very straight forward. You will get a short chapter quiz every week, 9 count for your grade +2 if you need xtra credit points. The answers are on the book. She explains and ties the key concepts from the quizzes to real life examples. 4 exams which come from the quizzes' concepts. She is kind and strives to help students succeed

Professor bell is awesome!! The workload can be pretty heavy. There are no lockdown browsers in this class. I learned a lot even though it was online.

She has patience and is very nice. The class offers a good amount of extra credit just in case you fall behind, has good pacing and she's very communicative and understanding.

I would definitely take this professor again. She spaces her work out evenly & does the lectures to where students can do it at a stress free pace. Which most professors aren't known for that. She also laughs a lot which so many professors dont take joy into what they do but she cares for her students as her own. So 10/10 I'd recommend!

Loved the class she went into detail about the topics made us think about personal examples which helped a lot to be able to understand the topics.She also left assigments to help build extra credit along the way which was very helpful since i would fall behind sometimes.

A great professor if you'd benefit from having one that grades you appropriately based off of how much work you put in. It's fairly impossible to not pass or get good grades if you do all the modules assigned because there is lots of extra credit built in. I also find her lectures very engaging and what I learned to be useful because of it.

This professor in particular was by far most the best professor I've had and it's my first year of college. She gives so much great feedback on work & gives you extra credit with time to correct even the work you mess up on. She knows how to light the room up with her laugh & most professors don't take joy into what they do but she does! And cares!

The professor is very nice and very communicative. Assignments and grading is very organized. Very easily accessible outside of class, giving reminders for the assignments that are due, lots of ways to get extra credit for assignments that were missed or replace bad grades for. Definitely recommend

Professor Kowai-Bell is excellent! I had a hybrid class which meant online assignments and in person lectures. All assignments and tests are online (there's a lot of them but this is good because it means more points for you) just remember to space out at least an hour or two a week for the readings and tests. Lectures are awesome too (:

Dr. K made psychology fun! At first I was intimidated with her class because there is so much info coming from her lectures and the textbook provided but you'll catch on during the second week its fairly easy to manage the online workload. Tests were also online and it was fairly easy to study for it because of the interesting lectures Dr. K gave.

She is so sweet and one of the best professors ive had all semester. She is so considerate and understanding of your personal life if you tell her (obv not everything). There are weekly McGraw, extra credit, and tests. Just be on top of things and you'll pass. shes also very bubbly makes the class amazing
