Took for intro to corrections online and the class was very easy a discussion and a quiz after every chapter the quiz come right out of the book! and the post discussions do too! got to see some very interesting videos about life in corrections! very helpful! responds to emails quickly! would take again! easy class overall!

I took her online class this summer and she is great, was very easy a discussion and a quiz after every chapter a midterm and a final test (no protected) over all she's still a good teacher!! I would take her again!!

No make ups but the class is very straightforward and very informative. She answers your emails quickly and midterm and final is kind of tough so really study hard. The test is also tough so make sure you at least skim the chapter before taking the test. Overall shes a good teacher. Just don't miss any assignments and you won't have a problem.

Took Online very easy class there were only 8 discussions and 15 quizes and a non proctered midterm and final which is great! the book is a must the quiz questions come directly from it. answers emails quickly and is always willing to help you! not a hard grader but make sure you answer the questions in full detail for full credit will take again!!

This is an easy "A" if you come to class take notes and listen to her lectures. There's a quiz for every chapter, lots of discussion questions, and a midterm video you must do with your face in it. NO MAKE UP is allowed, but she will allow you to work ahead. She's also very flexible but takes no nonsense.

You will pass this class by showing up taking notes and doing your discussion questions. She doesn't give MAKE UP WORK. She allows you to work ahead. Please read the syllabus from top to bottom. Everything is in it! LITERALLY. there is a midterm video project you must do! Good luck.

Originally it was in-person (rather hybrid), but changed into online. Handouts were easy to understand. Good thing was all the quizzes and exam questions were explained in the handouts, so it was an easy A to me. If you want easy A, take her online class.

Professor James' class is the best class I have taken at Miami Dade. Inquisitive was assigned to do at your own pace at home. Every class began with an engaging activity. The conversation was never scarce in this class, we were able to have civil discussions regarding controversial topics. Very understanding, honest, and fair. Best teacher!!

She is very good very laid back but for some had to be the bad guy when she had to drop for attendance very reasonable. I did not need to change any due dates for this class but she did for some and that shows she cares and has a heart test were not so bad but she gives extra questions on test "just if yo have a bad day" take her she is awesome

This professor was awesome for a summer course. The class consisted of four super easy quizzes, one discussion and three 350-word essays that were super simple. No late work, so you have to work for it.

Online course, work at your own pace but highly suggest the assignments get done before the deadline. A total of 14 quizzes based on the chapters, a final non-proctored exam and a reflection essay on the the course material. Easy A as long as you complete the required assignments. She is very caring and sends weekly reminders on the assignments.

Professor James is an amazing professor, who performs amazing and engaging lectures. She's extremely flexible with submission, her workload wasn't overwhelming, and she explains the material pretty well. She makes her students work in groups, which were so fun and collaborative. Without a doubt, I would definitely retake this course again!

She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities so I definitely recommend doing them. Be ready to participate as she cold calls while she is lecturing. It takes a long time for her to respond and if you see an error in your grade email her, do not wait last minute. There will be random group projects which you are expected to know what to do.

SHe's a really good professor and provides a lot of information during lectures so attend as many as you can. The classes are very interactive and funny so it's almost never boring. Don't get too carried away though, make sure to be attentive.

Professor James graded by a few assignments: 4 discussion posts, attendance, and in-class assignments. She wasn't very accessible outside of class, and difficult to communicate with. Sometimes she wouldn't provide enough time for the in-class assignments (my lecture was 50 minutes) to be done and wouldn't allow any late submissions.
