doesnt make you buy the book
He is pretty easy, but VERY hard to understand!
this guy is extremely hard to understand and if you just want to waste money but get a good laugh at his accent then take him but other than that he is probably one of the worst math teachers that I have ever had, and he doesnt even know how to teach good!!!
have a study group, do the online quizes, study the review (final exam review is extra credit! will raise up one letter grade) and study hard for the final exam
Great teacher, just do your review test(homework), the quiz online and you are going to make an A like i did last semester. He is not difficult to understand. You just have to make a little effort to pass this class thats it.
If you don't have time to study, don't take this guy. He will make you to study hard but other than that he is good and fun teacher, you can learn from him.
If you want to make an A in his class, do TON of the homeworks, find a group to study for the online test. You can make an A like i did
Professor Hoang moves fast. But for the most part, if you do your homework and his reviews, you will understand his tests. Getting an A is not impossible. I love the online quizzes.
He's funny, keep the lecture short. Online quizzes are good for study group. However, you should do the home work, study hard for his review, then you're done for this class.

I hated this class in the beginning. His hw is stupid (finding wrong answers instead of right ones). he gave me like 3 zero's for absolutely no reason in hw. i had a 75 going into the final and aced it and got an A. his tests are his reviews verbatum. theyre exactly like them, i dont really recommend him
At first I thought I was going to like this class but it turned out to be hell. He doesn't go by the book, some of his reviews and quizes he is looking for the wrong answers instead of the right ones and he makes you feel useless like you'll never understand it. If I were you, stay away from this guy in all possible ways.
This Professor is horrible!!! I say, DO NOT TAKE!!! Stay away if you don't want to waste your money because sooner or later, you'll have to drop. I manage to get through the class, but spending like 10 hours per day doing reviews and homework. you think it worth it??? DO NOT TAKE IT IF YOU HAVE A SOCIAL LIFE/JOB!!!
Don't take his class during the summer. He doesn't explain everything well, and he also likes putting equivalent answers on his M/C scantron exams. You'll spend more time trying to anticipate his next move than learning the material.

DO NOT TAKE TRIG FROM HIM!!! He does not explain the material at all, and gets upset if you ask questions. His exams are ridiculous and do not reflect the material in the text book. He does not grade homework or give quizzes, so if you do poorly on exams you will fail. Only three people showed up for the final out of 35 students.

I am in the lowest algebra and i got absolutley NO help from him. He was very un clear and our class work would be elementary level and our tests would be extremley hard. He loses every other paper and then blames you for not turning it in. I had nothing but frustrations with this professor. He says you need a book for you "benefit" we didnt use it
This class is horrrrible, and i would recommend taking it if you want to fail. All you understand him saying is that its easy. If you like 50 pages of homework, he's your guy. He doesn't make you buy the book though.
This professor was probably one of the worst teachers that i have ever had!! You can hardly understand anything he says and he believes that he doesnt ever make mistakes. He gives you homework with the answers on them and tells you to do them all and figure out which answer is wrong. It is sooo confusing!
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! What should be an easy Math class is turned into a confusing nightmare. No idea what hes talking about, always shouting with vocal fluctuations and makes you do all the work. His way of teaching is upside down. He always sends the wrong homework and then corrects it later in the week. And He's always saying "That's right?".

Here is a little equation that I figured out today while leaving my mini-mester class today at noon. If I do 1 problem every 2 1/2 minutes between 12:30pm and 12:30am, then I will finish all of my homework. This equation does not factor in variables such as the time it takes to eat, take restroom breaks, or carry out daily routine. DO NOT TAKE HIM!
He's my favorite professor this semester. He goes through lessons pretty quick but he does a great job teaching the material. He's pretty laid back and hilarious! I strongly recommend.
I blame myself for my low grade because I was overconfident that I didn't need the class so I didn't pay attention or do any of the homework. I wouldn't have gone to class had he not been so fun to watch. He's really funny and a nice guy. If you take him you should do the work and take the class seriously despite his humorous demeanor.
I'm not sure if in Asia it is an accepted best practice to demean students and bark orders at them, but this is what he does. The first day of class he bragged that less thank 50% of students who take his class pass. I don't believe that is something to be proud of. He needs to quit or be fired because he is totally useless!
He gets a bad rap because unlike most teachers he honestly wants you to take something from the class other than just a grade. He is not an easy A but you can make an A if you do the work and study. Great teacher and is extremely knowledgable about math.
I have not taken math in a long time and he explained everything clearly and I recommend taking his class.
My overall experience with this teacher for math 0350 was a good one. I am not good at math, but i know whatever grade I got, i worked hard for it, and now am proud to say I left the class with some sense in my head. He explains well, and wants you to understand rather than just get good grades. I recommmend him!!
Please stop by his office and check how he will treat to you. He's never keep his office hour and if you're lucky caught him in the office then he don't even want talk to you.
His tests are tricky. He likes to brag about how many students drop his class as if that is a good thing. When students don't do well he assumes that they don't put in the effort or don't study, but the truth of the matter is... he is not a good math teacher, and very hard to understand. I also find him very arrogant and not helpful.

I Like Math.Sure this teacher sounds hard reading what others are saying about him here, but if you stick with him you will pass. He gives you alot of HomeWork, but not for a grade. Only Quizes and test are for a grade. If you get an A in the test all your quiz grade for that chapter are all 100s. Final is optional if you have an A for the class.

This guy is crazy, hes constantly bragging about how people complain about him to the Math Department. Hes basically talking too you in Chinese, and on top of that he gives you like 200 problems of homework ever night. Wouldn't say best but okay. He gives you 100 on everything else (homework, quizzes etc.) if you get 90 or above on tests. Just study, ask if you don't get it and you should be fine
You HAVE to attend his class or you'll be left behind. He gives out a lot of homework but it's usually completion grades. If you get a 90+ on his test he replace your past grades with 100s.He goes pretty fast. If you get lazy you basically failed the class. So be on your feet. He's a pretty easy teacher.
HE IS SO EASY. He assigns no homework the quiz are like 5 questions and all multiple choice. We only take notes and do worksheets, like highschool almost. SOOOO EASY. No homework at all. Amazing.
Amazing teacher, one of the best math teachers I have ever had. He is tough and you have to do the work and put in the time but if you are struggling and need help he will give you the help you need if you do the work.

Very helpful professor who obviously has a passion for math and teaching. He's willing to go over a problem over and over again until you understand it. His accent is a little thick, but it's really no problem if you're paying attention. Recommended.
If you don't understand mathe then this isn't the guy. He requires 10 hours of extra time spent on HW and gives out alot. Accent can be difficult to understand. I do not recommend this guy for the adult whole is already pressed for time.
YES YES YES YES!!! Easiest class you could take, all you have to do is pay attention, he teaches very well. And if your failing he will give u so many extra credit oppurtunites. If you have an A average, you are exept from the exam. And if you make an A on the exam it replaces 2 test grades, Only lazy people who don't show up to class say he's hard

Thick accent, at times refused to help. You should know some math beforehand. He gives literally, hundreds of problems, but as long as you get a 90 or above on his tests, you do not have to do anything else. His extra credit was a joke, around 200 problems. His help sheets are great for his upcoming tests. Take him only if he is the last one left.

Took his class on-line. He is ok, gave me a chance to take test that I had to miss due to work. But, took forever to get back to me on questions I had. Tool him 2 weeks to give me my test results. Going to pick a different professor for math.
Professor Hoang has a very thick accent, but it didn't bother me at all. He teaches expecting you to already have basic algebraic and geometry skills (which you should.) He skips some steps when doing problems but it wasn't an issue for me as I understood it. His exams are pretty easy if you pay attention in class.
PLEASE dont take him. took for cal 1 during summer. doesnt teach worth anything. spent 6-12 hrs a day in the math lab. didnt learn a thing. he made the final so hard everyone who took it failed it. most people who made an A had cal before so.
The worst class I have ever taken through my whole college career. Consist of a lot of self teaching, asking others to tutor you, watching youtube videos, and google. He does NOT teach. He lies about what will be on the exams. He makes you feel dumb if you ask for help. Horrible experience.

I took his DL class. He's awful at returning emails. If you want help or answers you have to go to campus. Kind of defeats the purpose of DL. Tests are almost identical to practice tests. Same type of questions just different numbers. 5 tests. 5 hw assignments about 150 questions each. I didn't use the book but only bc it was a refresher course.
Unless you are a math genius, please don't take this profes. He makes you feel dumb for asking questions. I don't mind homework but if I don't understand it at all it's worthless. It's like learning a foreign language by reading a book in it. Doesn't work like that. Even the tutors can't help you! They will give up on you. Just don't do it.

He discourages student constantly with his smartness and never gives notes, all he brings to class is the attendance sheet and make up things in the air and you get stuck while doing homework. Unless he see's the whole class is having problem with something then you screwed. Take him if you good at math if not look for another teacher.
Without his help, I would have failed the class. He was always willing to be flexible when my other classes made my life difficult (rescheduling exams, due dates, etc). Of course I had to ASK (ie, speak up). Now as for his teaching: I watched him get down on his knees to show the class how to visualize a 3D coordinate system. On his knees! 5 stars.
Have to attend every class and study hard if you want a good grade. Do the practice problems he assigns, and do the test review and make sure you know how to do each problem before each test because they are very similar to each other. If you don't have time to study or are lazy don't take him.
DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS. His class is hard just because of the way he teaches. I spent my whole time in the math class because I didn't understand his methods. Trig isn't suppose to be hard its actually easy but the way he teaches it is hard. If you take him study, study all the time if you want to pass his class.

His classwork is not to difficult. He just requires alot out of you. I took mr.hoang this summer and he assigned us 20 quizes and three tests. if you made an A in all the test you made an A in his class. Overall its challenging but do able. DO ALL THE QUIZES they're take home, but their each 1% of your grade. He is a good teacher.

He was super helpful and was more than willing to give you extra time to make up homework you missed. His pre-test are exactly like his real test so the only was to fail is to not study. He covered the material well, but doesnt use the book so take notes.
Fair teacher have a little accent but not as bad. You can still understand him put in the effort and you''ll be fine. Nothing is given to you in his class.
No mymathlab and all homework is completion grade. Downside, you won't know if you are doing any of the problems correctly until you take a test on it and fail. His lectures are confusing. He messes up when solving problems and gets sidetracked easily
Great math teacher. Goes over everything in class and is able to add some humor. Has a slight accent but for the most part remains clear. Gives practice quizzes which has everything thats on the exam and even emails a cheat sheet out. Counts doing the Math Lab assignments as attendance. Won't drop you unless 8 missed math labs and grade 70.
He is very good at showing how examples. He will tell you exactly what is going to be on the test which are almost non existent. If you pass his test then he will not drop you for attendance.
The quizzes are, as he put it, basically the same as the test, just with different numbers, which I found helpful. Study the quizzes and go over your notes before the test, and you'll do fine. He's pretty funny and explains everything well.
One of the worst teacher I ever came across, not helpful, rude expect you to know the material. Hello some of us have not been in school for year. I took him for business cal 1325 and was not fun. I did my HM and quiz and still did not pass his class. The only reason I did ok is because the lab tutors helped a lot.
Summer term. This is the second time I take this class. First time different professor. I failed. Hoang gives a lot of homework. Quizzes are take home and his test consist of 15 problems and are multiple choice. He helps you when you need it and will slow down if you tell him he is going to fast. I wish I would of taken him the first time.
I took his college algebra class this summer (session 2) and I loved him ! If you need him to slow down or repeat something he is more than happy to help. And quizzes he gives out are the exact same as test, just with diff. numbers! So it's an easy A but I also felt I learned what I needed to! A lot of homework but nothing unbearable.
Most of the homework from this class is online (MyMathLab) which is a small part of the grade but still counts. The only other things he grades are the quizzes and tests. The quizzes are considered reviews for the test so make sure to do them! He is effective about his teaching and there's always something to learn from class, so try not to skip.
My second time taking this course and wow I wish I took him the first. I've always struggled in math but Prof Hoang is very patient and tries to go slow to explain the lesson in depth. There is homework after almost every lesson but as he says, math is something that needs to be constantly practiced. The best thing is HE DROPS THE LOWEST TEST GRADE
Do NOT take this class!!!! I've never had a problem with math until this class. The professor has a heavy accent and half of the time you can't understand what he's saying. He does the math on the board assuming everyone knows everything. A quiz due almost everyday and 4 Exams with 1 final. There are way better teachers out there, be aware!!!!
I will tell you that I'm very glad I took his class for Math 1325. He did a great job. I had to miss a few days during a summer semester and was still able to pass. This is my 3rd time taking this math class and he made it make sense. I'm amazed. I def would recommend him to anyone that is willing to put in the effort. Math 1325 is a very difficult
sample tests are quizzes. They are all take home assignments. Sample tests are almost identical to the exams, he just changes numbers. He sends answer right after you turn in so you have time to look over and practice before exams. He is chill and funny. If you get high score on exam 2, he will go back on your exam 1 and give a few more points.
I enjoyed this class. We used My Math Lab a lot. His tests are a lot easier than the practice tests, which he takes as a quiz grade. Sometimes he was hard to understand or he would go too fast, but if you asked him to slow down and explain it he would. He's very easy to communicate with. He gave the class his phone number to contact him directly.
he is a nice teacher, homework on mymathlab take a bit of time from 2 to 4 hrs each homework. he is not so good at explaining but he gives quizzes that are similar to the test he only change numbers and he gives you more time at the end of the semester to complete what ever wasnt done on my math lab. he gives extra credits. i got all 100 on tests.
His test reviews are just like the actual tests. If you study the review youll do just fine. At the end of the semester he opens up all the quizzes so if you missed some you can go back and retake it. He was such a great professor!
Mr. Hoag is an awesome professor, lots of reviews for each test and he reopens homework. but his lectures are lacking you will learn more from the homework.
Energetic professor! He gives good lectures and helpful reviews for tests. Took it in summer so I had to live in the MRC in order to practice. Doing the HW is the only way of getting a good grade on tests. No need to buy a textbook nor calculator because the math center lends it to you whenever you need it. Get calculator from the library for tests
Business Calculus is a tough subject. Prof. Hoang tries his best to break down the material. Its a huge help if you remember stuff from College Algerbra because thats the foundation for this class. Without going to MRC, I would not have passed and I got an A. Do the homework and GO TO MRC! If you have fully applied yourself, he will help you pass
Accent isnt bad like some people make it sound. To understand how to do the work you have to show up to class. Make sure to STUDY! Not a difficult class but make sure youre taking time to learn how to solve things. Tests are very similar to the quizzes. He does expect you to have some knowledge of the material. STUDY!
His tests are absurdly difficult and he often adds in things that weren't on the review, and extra credit? Forget about it! He's also the only professor I know who doesn't drop the lowest test grade, so you are given no breathing room on his tests. He gives us homework and expects us t teach ourselves basically. Don't take him for calculus, ever.
Whenever we ask him for help, he will laugh a us and give some excuse like "come on you already know this!" and just ignore the question. He goes too fast for us and only explains things halfway. Don't even get me started on his homework, they're atrocious, and it's like they were designed to make students fail. He also loves taking away points!

Professor Hoang is a hilarious one. He may seem intimidating, but if you do the MyMathLab assignments and study for the quizzes and tests, you'll do just fine. Just a quick note, you will learn more from MyMathLab and the quizzes than the actual lecture.
Mr. Hoang started off great but as soon as he gets into lectures he expects you to know the material and would yell and slap the board demanding the answers from students. My math lab taught me way more than Hoang did and i had to learn for myself to pass his class. He is VERY demanding and makes you feel stupid at times and do not recommend him.
Although, he gives a overview, he really doesn't help much, and is not available during office hours as posted. He expects you to know everything, he is fair when it comes to working together, and tests are short, though he is tough when it comes to grading and points out that if you have no time, sorry no choice.
I was hesitant to take Hoang after seeing his bad reviews, but he was the only professor that had a class that works around my work schedule. I'm glad I ended up taking his class because he's been the best math professor that I've had. He really does explain topics clearly. If you pay attention and do the quizzes, then you'll easily do well.

He was cool. You wont need to read the book, everything is in his lecture. Sit in the front, take notes. if you miss class, just get a study buddy in class to share the notes. His lectures were pretty hard to understand, it was very rarely he responded to our emails and we were all left confused. we had a group chat and that's how we figured stuff out but we were basically teaching ourselves. homework every two days 50-100 questions each. Tests weighed heavier. You did a lot of work for nothing if u didn't ace the test.
Requires you to download google chrome spyware extension to take on tests. Why you ask? I don't know. It's only week 3 of this class as of writing this and he's given us 2 tests, no homework, but multiple quizzes as a "homework" replacement. It's simple, just show up to lecture, take notes, and study on your own time. He's a great professor. The class is simple and laidback. There's 4 tests and an optional final exam to boost your grade as well as my math lab. We do practice quizzes before the exam to help prepare for the exams and they're extremely helpful. Study and you'll pass easy.

Do not take this professor if you have never taken PreCalculus or Trigonometry in your life. He teaches like he already expects you to know the subject. Instead of step by step, he just does the problems on the board while you watch. You only know How or why if you ask. MyMathlab is worthless if you expect to be prepared for his exams.
I rate this professor a one because he does not help students who do not understand. Instead he argues with you on why you do not know in front of the whole class. He gives you four assignments a day and if your class doesn't even end till 9:30 he still expects all four done before midnight. He has no positivity or faith for his students.

Dr. Hoang does not do well with answering questions, he will just show you a similar example and expect you to understand but he is lenient with late work. Not a good professor for you if you get overwhelmed easily though, he can be very loud and bang on the desk to get people to pay attention.
He lies more than he talks during class. I would rather walk through a forest of fire then walk through his doors again. He will tell you things in class and then completely take back what he said the next class. I highly reccomend u find a better teacher as this class is more torture than education. You will walk out class with the 14th reason.
teaches as if you know the material already! Will argue/pick on you in front of everyone in the classroom. Mymathlab is truly worthless, what he teaches on the board will not be the same as in a quiz or test !! please avoid this professor if you can.
he obviously knows the material but he just doesnt know how to teach the material to his students. its been half the semester and theres only a fourth of the class left. hes smart dont get me wrong but hw is nothing like what he teachers, lectures are confusing, he doesnt really care about you as a student; i do not recommend at all
Professor Hoang is dedicated and easy going. He provides his number the first day of class. He will show up extra early on test days to give you more time, and tests resemble the reviews. Offers credit opportunities on tests. Only complaint is that test questions can be a bit misleading. Other than that, he very clearly wants you to pass his class.
Literally the worst Proffesor I've ever had ! Don't take this class unless you are literally a math prodigy, even then you still will struggle to get an A in this class. Proffesor Hoang runs the class like a review session and if you ask a question he tells you that you need to study harder. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
You will get easy A if you put some efforts into it.
I like to say he wasn't a bad professor it just that he shout a lot when we didn't understand something and when it came to the trig portion he himself would mess up which i suppose its normal, but the put way too many proving identity problems when he has trouble with on the lecture video like 15 of him doing a problemgoingbackand forth.Dodropthis
Good things about Professor Ngoc? He's fair, kind, and funny. However, he's not a particularly strong lecturer. I feel as though reading the online book was my best shot at passing the class. Luckily, the final exam can be skipped (recommended). The tests are difficult, as there are no reviews. Plenty of homework is assigned every week. Do them.
If you don't understand a certain topic just watch videos online, some people find this course tricky but I made it through fine. Attendance is not that mandatory. All quizzes will be graded as 100 even if you got something wrong but they are worth very little. Everything depends on the test so do what you must to pass.
I recommend to not take this professor At all. He doesn't give you a review for the test, And he doesn't give you enough time to study or get your homework done at all. He expects you to have it ready next class. If you wanna pass calculus choose somebody else this professor is not worth it.
Well I was on top and tbh I worked my ass off to get the grade. But the good thing is he provides you straight-forward materials you need to succeed. Do all the reviews and watch his online lecture because they are exactly the tests. He's light-hearted, super organized and caring. Take him if you're Asian as you will relate to his jokes!
He teaches like you're already supposed to know the work, and if you ask a question he says your issue is with algebra and not calc, and doesn't help or elaborate. Has his lectures online but the tests aren't really the same. He knows how to do the work, but can't really teach it. Brags about how many people dropped or failed his class in the past.
He's super flexible, listen to lectures and participate and you should do fine
Hoang seemed like a good teacher at first, but once the tests started rolling in, everything took a wrong turn. He is an awful teacher and acts like if we know everything. Almost everything you learn is going to be self taught and on MML. He also has a strong accent and is hard to understand. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. PLEASE.
Avoid this professor! The math itself isn't hard at all, but this professor makes it worse. I expect homework in any class I attend however the amount given in this course was astronomical. He often belittles you in front of the whole class if you ask questions. If you are a ECHS student like me, PLEASE RECONSIDER.
Hoang's class is challenging, but his organized materials and online lectures make it manageable. unstuck study was a game-changer for exam prep. Attend class, use the resources, and you'll succeed.
He assumes you know what you're doing and have learned everything from the previous class period so he moves very directly with his lectures. His accent wasn't really a problem for me. The only reason I was able to pass with a C- was because of the tests and reviewing the video lectures of the sample tests. 2-4 HWs due weekly, but they reopened.
This teacher is horrible if you value your money and don't want to suffer the whole semester in somewhere worse then hell you will not take him ever in your whole college experience he doesn't care at all who passes or fails his class overall do not take him
Explains lectures in the worst way possible. Assumes that the students know everything even though it's his job to teach it. Will halt lessons completely without class participation. Do NOT take this class, you will regret it.
The class work is alright, but the professor is the real problem. He acts as if we are already supposed to know the material, even though he needs to teach it. He will halt entire lessons if the class does not participate enough. Is not transparent with material at all. Do NOT take him if you value yourself

For the most part, the lectures are easy and understandable BUT he gives an insane amount of homework. The professor also shouts here and there which is very unnecessary and over time becomes annoying. The way he teaches is questionable, too. There's always a hint of belittling when the class doesn't answer him or take a couple minutes to answer.
Little to none of what he teaches for our notes appears on the mountains of homework we have.
If you don't have anybody participating in class, then nothing's going to get done. He asks questions frequently. Minimum 2-4 HWs per week, and tests are worth 60%. You'll do fine if you practice the Sample Tests, but I found MML much more thorough than his lectures. if you take him I'd recommend studying for the tests extensively.
This professor expects you to already know the material and doesn't offer extra credit or grade drops. Tests are heavily weighted, so a bad score will hurt your grade. Quizzes don't help much, but homework is easy. If you struggle with math or don't put in extra practice, this class will be hard. Not recommended if you're looking for an easy A.
One thing I noticed is that he likes to humiliate students for the simplest questions. “Gee”, “Oh God” he likes saying these a lot and whenever he emphasizes on something his voice becomes high like a shrill. He expects you to know everything prior to him teaching the lesson which is ???? So much homework and thinks his class is the only one u have
DO NOT TAKE HIM. He makes fun of you for asking questions if you're stuck and most students in my class agreed that we all felt he enjoyed seeing us struggle with his unnecessarily hard questions. Makes jokes about students failing his class very often. Says things like "well if you don't know this, im sorry that's yo fault." don't take.
DO NOT TAKE HIM. You will have the worst experience of your life. You have to spend at least 5 hours a week in the math lab just to understand the complex questions, which arent taught properly. my class agreed that he didnt teach properly and submitted a formal complaint. he enjoys when students struggle to pass his classes. he takes pride in it..
Avoid this professor at all costs. Do not expect your lectures to translate over to homework, ever. During lecture he makes students feel dumb by making comments when they don't come up with an answer. If he does happen to teach something, expect surface level. He never goes in depth about a certain topic, just the baby examples. It makes hw harder

Avoid this professor at ALL costs! He's not good at teaching and when you ask, he confuses one even more.
He is abrasive but he is genuinely a good teacher, but you also have to not be afraid to ask questions and to ask for reviews for algebra/etc. He also allowed test corrections, late homework, and extra credit towards the final exam. This class has big homework workload but there's a lot of comeback/very forgiving
He is one of the worst professors I've ever had! He ruined my life. I showed up to all his classes, and he still failed me by 0.4 points. I received a 69.6 in the class and refused to round. I explained I was working two jobs in the summer while taking his class and needed this class to graduate (it was my last semester) he failed me anyway.
He ruined my life, I became homeless because he refused to pass me by 0.4 of a point. I told him this was the last class I needed to graduate while I was working two jobs and he refused to pass me as I cried and begged him. I understand he can fail me but if I became a professor I would not fail someone by 0.4 of a point. I hope karma comes.
He doesn't care about his students at all and expects you to know everything. Do not take him.
Lectures were honestly just confusing and too quickly paced. Accent sounded like a Vietnamese priest, so if you are not ready for that do not take. Randomly sings and exercises during lecture. Just look at the sample tests he provides and memorize how to solve those to pass. Study on your own A LOT. Do not rely on the homework to help you.
