She does not let you get and moment to think. asignments after asignnments. quiz after quiz, and does not allow enought time to complete the quiz.

She is not a teacher

This teacher isn't very good. She doesn't explain things at all. I hated this class because she had an attitude with me and a lot of other students. Very rude and I didn't like taking this class.

You can tell that she loves English a bit too much. I would never suggest her unless you're perfect like her because all you see are marks on your paper. I worked my ass off in this class to get an A. She plays favorite so if you get stuck with her just stay on her good side. P.S. Don't get stuck in her class.

Rubbish rules, rubbish clarity, very useless when it comes to getting the word across the classroom. Very unhelpful when is comes to assignments. Expects us to go online all the time.

she is an okay teacher but gets worse. expects us to go online every single day and do teh assignments which is a hassle. her criteria is confusing, the only thing good about her is her quizzes and checking, which are easy

She is really fat and all she does is talk about her daughters and gives us lots of homework. Her voice is really annoying. She is also really slow at grading stuff. Would not recommend to take.

She was a teacher from Hell. She taught me NOTHING! She was rude, nasty and incompetent. I tried but every time I ask for some clarity from her she gives me attitude (real mature). I don't understand how she expects so much from us students. She will take off points for the smallest things from your essays. She is an extremely tough grader, the highest I ever got on an essay there was a 78. Don't take her, trust me

Condescending at times. Random pop quizzes. Feedback isn't clear and can't see things from anyone else's perspective. Tough grader, and doesn't put an effort into having an organized syllabus.

She made my first year of college experience terrible. She will fight before she ever gives you a B HA! dont even think youll get an A with her you have to be so far up her bottom to even get that and even after you do that she will give you a boderline B. She's not a bad person but she is an EXTREMELY tough grader, to the point i'd say it's pretty unfair, her expectations are so high which for a mandatory class is pretty garbage

I would not recommend this teacher for anyone. I tried to give her the benefit of doubt when I first saw all her negative reviews, but that was a big mistake. I worked hard all semester long never missed a class. I turned in all my assignments on time and nothing was ever good enough for her. Even with a tutor she still gave me a low grade.

This woman is just extra. I mean, there's just no other way to put it. Wasting our time with unnecessary 45 minute long videos on how to do the simplest thing that anyone with a brain can figure out. Her examples of outlines and essays are SO extra. She just spends way too much time on pretty much everything. My advice to her is to relax a little.

I had her for my first college semester in fall 2018, but I was dropped without grade after the second week, because I wasn't ready to take 1301 yet. When I just looked on her rating the first time, all I can ask is if you care for your college GPA and you don't want it to suffer, don't take her for English, even if she's your last option available

An unprofessional woman and she will drop you for making a mistake. I was dropped from the class without notification nor given a reason why I was dropped. Im an international student who cannot be out of status so I had to sign up for another class and pay more money because of this woman. Please avoid her when signing up for classes .

Review this professor's rating before you take this professor!! If she's your last option left to enroll for English at HCC, you wasted your time to pick a good professor, because she's a tough grader for her classes. Unacceptable professor to take for English at HCC! 100% unacceptable. Most students who taken her class and rated her think she's a tough grader. Her talking accent is similar to some woman teachers in school. If you're going to take with her, her classes are not easy A, and you have to work hard for a passing grade or be nearly perfect for an A.

Do not take this professor. I would follow her instructions and follow her samples, and I would still get horrible grades. She is a very hard grader for the small amount of help she gives. Sometimes she wouldn't even give feedback. Made the course so difficult.

No one should care about this professor who's a hard grader for her classes. As I care for all students' success, I will advise you do not to take her for English at HCC, because most students that taken and rated her complain that she gives bad grades and do not give good feedbk. Horrible teacher. Hardest grader ever and doesn't give feedback. Literally follow her guidelines and still receive a 70. Horrible professor, super unprofessional. Class averages were in the 40's and still wouldn't give extra credit.

Be wary! If you're going to take this professor for English at HCC, you may not be able to get an A in her class, because she's a super hard grader and students can't stand her grading like that! If you want an A/B in ENGL 1301/1302 at HCC, then do other prof other than Prof. Puder! Even if you finished her assignments on time, it may not be an A.

Professor Puder is by for the worst professor I have had in all my years of being in college University and Community! She is very rude. She does not know how to switch from in person to online. I had a face to face meeting with her to discuss certain grades and all she did was speak over me and bring up my assignments to criticize them. The Worst.

Whatever Prof Puder is, she is a very hard grader. Her classes are not easy A & you should pick a different prof if you're going to take English @ HCC, bc I care for students' success. Be careful! If you're going to take her, then you will have to work very hard to pass her class! She could be rude and yell if you didn't do what you're supposed to!

This is the worst professor in HCC she doesnt know what shes talking about she grades very harshly and gives you nonsense feedback shell tell you to fix something in your paper when you fix it shell still complain as if shes not the one who suggested it. She grades so harshly shell deduct points from your heading.

Before you enroll to her class at HCC, please review her rating and ignore their good ratings here, because she is a very hard grader and she doesn't understand what she mean for the class if y'all are too lazy in her class! Prof. Puder does not get enough recognition, but y'all should avoid taking her when you're going to take English 1301 or 1302 at HCC and you want to pass these classes. I don't know what she will grade you when you finished her assignments especially on time. Not even tutors would work on getting high grades from this woman. Take another professor!

I didn't care for this professor or understand her. It's not that I expect a professor to be easy, I respect the course to be challenging, but a professor that speaks to you like you are an English professor or that you are on her level of English is nonsense! When I walk into a class that I paid for I at least expect the teacher to teach. She does provide instruction but whenever it comes to the grading aspect she brings up something that she might've briefly talked about and deducts major points from the overall grade and doesn't give you the grade until weeks later. Very unprofessional.

This teacher treats you like you're in elementary school. She pulls students to the side and and lectures them over the smallest thing and takes any sort of wrong or misunderstanding to an assignment as a personal attack. She literally had told me that she felt "betrayed" I didn't follow her rubric. She also springs assignments last second on you..

Horrible teacher & person. No feedback, so no improvement. Confused? Don't ask if you don't want a loud demeaning answer in return. Disrespectful to her students and consistently has this weird thinking face on as if she's putting any work into her students or lessons at all. Also chased me through the hallway once because I left early lol.

This is the toughest professor I have ever had. If you don't do things her way you will fail the class. She has such specific expectations that if you don't meet you will get a bad grade. I had to sacrifice my individualism to even get a 80. If you're taking this proffessor, be ready to abide by someone elses rules when writing or fail.

Honestly her way of teaching is so strict. Things have to be HER way or otherwise it's wrong and when she puts her assignments up she doesn't make her instruction very clear and to me it was very misleading. It frustrated me how she'd count something wrong when she didn't even mention it in the directions in the first place. Like... erm...

I did not like her class it was too hard, I did all of my work in the class but she would always give me zeros because of one mistake do not take her class !

You gotta be careful not to make a single mistake in your essay, that could be enough to move from a B to a C

Do not take this lady's class, she is very strict with her false grading because she doesn't include the instructions. At this point, it seems like it's her job to make her class miserable, with any mistakes she automatically gives you a 60 or lower. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU WANT TO PASS.

Almost every major assignment averaged 60-70; barely anyone got over 89 on any grade. it is as if she wants to be rated low and expects you to be perfect. She will take off heavy points for things that barely matter on assignments. Dont risk your grade even if she is the last teacher available.

I'm dropping out of this class; I just cannot risk my gpa anymore. I wish that I had read the reviews before I choose her class and rather spend more time in major then risking that grade. She's really a tough grader, I don't recommend going to her class if you want your gpa to go down or is someone who submit things that the last second.

Has to be the worst english teacher I've ever had. Little to no help at all from this professor, so have a buddy to help you study because asking Puder is like talking to a wall. She takes so long to grade, and it's crazy how she gives you such a low grade on an assignment you put effort into. Beware of this professor, you've been warned.

I would 100% not recommend this teacher, I ended up taking this as a requirement for my degree, and it was a very unlikable experience. She removed others from class due to her own unclear instructions and when grading certain assignments she graded by her own personal opinion on the topic, rather than the structure of the assignment itself.
