He's very helpful and friendly. You dont have to do your homework but its recommended, and he gives you the answers on blackboard, then the next day you can ask questions about the ones you wer stuck on

Very helpful and teaches the subject very well. Work was not too bad. Homework was not mandatory but i will advise you to do it because it prepares you for the tests and quizzes. Would highly recommend him.

Professor Belloit was a nice teacher but only did his own thing on the board while lecturing. His homework didn't prepare you for the test at all because he changed the format of questions drastically. I bombed my first two test and had to Withdrawl because I feared failing. Half the class had to WD!! VERY TOUGH to PASS! Would NOT recommend him

I'm a math person and came right out of precalc, so I passed the class without too much effort. He does review at the start of every class--you have time to ask questions if you struggled with the homework. All of the homework was online and we had unlimited attempts so you could always get an A. He's not great with technology, but he's nice.

Professor Belloit is a good instructor who goes into detail in lectures. He clearly outlines what will be on the test, does reviews, and allows one page of notes. Occasionally he would start speaking REALLY loudly for some reason, which was kind of annoying, but aside from that, I'd highly recommend him as an instructor.

Professor Belloit made trig possible, I have always had difficulties with math, but I actually passed the class. Very forgiving with grades and lenient, allows a note sheet on tests and very clear on what will be on the exams. AWESOME reviews, and very straightforward with what will be on the test. Amazing professor.

If you don't have prior experience with trig, he's probably not the best teacher for you. Most ppl struggled with the tests (it was a 12w course) but you can redo the homework on MML and get 100s, easy. If you've taken trig before and know the basics you should be fine. He's a really lighthearted prof and never presses students for answers.

Professor Belliot had amazing lectures and I really did feel I was understanding the material. Math is not my strong suit, but I feel like he made me understand the material better. He lets you have a page of notes on the tests and quizzes and he even drops your lowest quiz grade. Make sure to take advantage of those notes because you'll need them.

Had him at UNF. Awesome professor -- lots of examples, clearly explained, always with a pause at the end so you can get in a question if you need it. Obviously cares about his students and the subject. An extremely merciful grader!

I took prof Belloit at UNF and he's hands down the best math prof I've ever had! He explains everything really well and makes it really easy to ask questions. He really cares that his students understand the material before moving on. There's homework on mymathlab worth one test grade which is really easy and will help your grade a lot. Take him!!!

Took him for precalc at UNF. Fair grader (gives partial credit for your work even if the answer is wrong). Allowed 1 sheet (front & back) of notes for each of the 4 tests, all quizzes open-note. Lowest quiz drops, and quiz average replaces lowest test score. Great professor for math majors, but be sure to have good arithmetic skills.

I took MAC2233 at UNF with prof. Belloit. Great teacher, very informed about the topics. I would suggest having some background in algebra before starting calculus for business. Make sure you take lots of notes, exams are a large portion of the grade (open book).

I love Professor Belloit. I have had him for both Calc I and II, and he is by far my favorite. He will go over any questions on problems you may have. He doesn't have any notes online, just make sure you go to the lecture. His quizzes and tests are open note, and no pop quizzes. He gives review sheets and goes over them for each test. Amazing.

This review is long overdue but who cares? Had him for Calc I and you can tell he really cared about his students. One of UNF's most admired professors as he takes his time to explain any material that a student doesn't understand. Finding a professor like him is rare... so take him!
