Lab teacher for my College Algebra class. Very helpful, smart, and laid-back. We almost always got out early, not that attendance was mandatory except on quiz days. I definitely recommend him for your math lab and if he ever does lectures. Doesn't go through all the steps when working out a problem but will help you go through them if you need.

Good teacher. The material is REALLY hard but he curves his tests as needed. He teaches knowing people don't want to take Calc so he tries his best to make it interesting.

He is a very clear teacher. If you follow along with his notes, the class isnt hard at all. The homework is a pain in the butt but the test are alot easier than the homework. I would definitely recommend him!

His powerpoint notes are very helpful! He goes over then in lecture step by step. You do not need to purchase a textbook for this course because you have access to it online in coursecompass MathLab. Alot of home but you have 3 chances per question. 2 exams and final Quizes are every other week which can be a little hard depending on Lab instructor

I had Nick for only the lectures in College Algebra. He really nice, explains everything well, and answers any questions you have. He doesn't like it when he can hear you talking during the lectures (which is understandable) and he might secretly make fun of you if you walk out in the middle of a lecture. :) I would recommend this professor.

Mr. Bianco is a GREAT professor! He is really smart and a fair grader, he will explain anything to you over if you don't understand... Although the subject (Elementary Calculus) can be challenging, he really explains it well keeps your attention during class! He's funny too. I'd recommend him to everyone!

Nick Bianco is the BEST college algebra professor. Took this class the year prior, and had to drop it, but took it again with Bianco, and understood everything. Highly recommended.

For each math class I take, I try to find Professor Bianco to teach it! He's one of my favorites Professors; he is smart yet doesn't use a monotonous boring tone. He keeps class lively so you don't drift off. I always understand the concepts better after hearing him explain them. Also, he is always willing to give extra help during office hours!

Bianco is by far the best math professor I have ever had. I am not particularly fond of statistics but I did quite well in his class. I really liked the way he prepares the notes and goes through practice problems in class. He explains thing very well. Attendance is not mandatory but recommended. Hands down awesome professor!

Graet teacher and I've had him for two years in a row now, different course. He explains things very well and keeps it interesting in the process. Not many people like math, but he makes it easy to understand and is willing to help.

One of the few instructors I have run into that actually makes math a tad bit interesting. A really fun guy. The only con was that he didn't give study guides, only for the final, but it makes you study harder so that you remember the information. I plan to take his class for another math course in the near future.

Prof Bianco is a really good statistics professor and it'd be safe to say one of the best math teachers at FGCU. He's really clear during lectures and will always help you out if you get stuck on something. ConnectMath was a horrible website to do HW on but other than that I completely recommend him. Tests are tough so study hard.

A really great professor. He is very clear when explaining concepts and when someone has a question, he takes his time to make sure they understand. Went in the class already knowing how to do everything since I took Calculus in high school, but he gave me a nice refresher. Definitely recommend taking his classes.

This is the 2nd time I've taken stats and he made it a lot easier to understand. At first I hated stats but now I don't mind it! He makes the class fun and is very clear when going over problems. I would highly recommend taking this course!

Actually teaches! He explains each step thoroughly and is always ready for questions. He's also really funny. He gives random quizzes throughout the semester if there is time left after a lesson so attendance is mandatory.

I would highly recommend taking this professor. You can use a calculator, and he is pretty good at explaining topics. If you are not good at math you will have to study a little bit. If u put the effort in you will pass. GROUP POP QUIZZES!! ;)

He is one of the best instructors to take for Elementary Calculus, which is required for Business majors. He gives group-based pop-quizzes and also drops your lowest test grade. He is pretty funny, too. I hate math, hardly tried, and I passed with a C. Our class did so bad on the 2nd test, he re-issued it and made it group-based for extra credit.

I struggled so much in this class, and I got most of my help from outside sources. However, I was able to not retake this class and move on with a C. The only reasons why I was able to do so are because the quizzes are with a group and you can use your notes, I got 100% on almost all homework, and he drops your worst test, quiz, and 2 homework.

Bianco is an amazing professor who you feel you're friends with. I HATE math and I passed with a C. The online homeworks and group in-class quizzes are what helped me pass. If you study and understand all of the homework, you'll do fine on tests. I would have done better in the class if I would have tried more. Take him for sure; he's great.

He will notice and helps students who try their best. Make sure you stay on top of the upcoming homework assignments. Take good notes during his lectures.

He is an awesome guy but a very tough professor, because he gives good lectures but his tests are very hard. The tests are never as easy as the homework or the lectures are so that throws you off. Also every other class you will have a pop quiz about the last notes and they are group tests so if you do good on those they really help your grade.

Bianco is a great professor. This is my third calculus class and my first one passing because of him. He is very clear, teaches at a good pace, and is humorous. He drops like 2 hw and 1 quiz. Homework is a little difficult but not a lot of it. Study from the class notes, and the exams are easy!

Bianco is an awesome professor! Math is not my strong suit and I managed to pull through with a B. Just go to class, pay attention and take good notes and you will pass. The homework and quizzes are a big help too and he lets you take the quizzes in groups. Highly recommend!!!

Best class for calc. Take him over Huffman. He's a lot more clear, and tests aren't weighted as heavily as Huffman. Make sure you pay attention to the notes that are taken in class. The tests will heavily reflect class notes. Take him if you want to pass calc.

Bianco is awesome!! He makes the work easy to understand even if (like me) you're horrible at math. If you don't show up to class you might miss a pop quiz and he only drops one quiz, one test, and one homework, so I'd recommend attending class regularly. Buy the textbook code for online homework, but make sure you buy the right one!

He is a great guy, this is the second year I have him as a professor. His lectures might be confusing, don't hesitate to ask questions. He loves pop quizzes. Lectures are easy compare to the exams. He drops 3 homeworks, 1 exam, and 1 quiz. You have to show your work on exams. The average grade was a C, so he had to give some extra credit.

Bianco is my favorite math teacher I have ever had. I took him for Elementary Calc and Stats and I aced both classes. He gives pop quizzes , and there is a fair amount of homework, but he drops 1 test, 2 quizzes, and 2 homework grades. Tests are 100% multiple choice, and the final comes from all the tests. Highly recommend!

I LOVE BIANCO! Best math professor at FGCU. He truly cares if you learn & he goes above & beyond to make sure you understand. He's hilarious & makes class fun. (Occasional group pop quizzes, easy homework) I have barely passed math every semester at this school, but with him, I'm finishing the semester with an A. 10/10 would recommend!!

BIANCO IS AWESOME!!! Cool guy who knows how to teach math in a way for people to understand. Homework was all due before the test and was a max 15q's, min had 3q's. Always has office hours & is super helpful!! He doesn't take attendance BUT he gives out pop quizzes that are worth 15% of your grade so it motivates you to go. Really laid back guy!

I'd highly recommend taking Prof Bianco for this class, along with any other math class! He makes math lectures bearable while with providing a fun learning atmosphere. Tests aren't bad if you do the homework and go over the notes. He usually tells you beforehand what's going to be on them. Didn't use the textbook itself but used an access code.

He assigns quite a bit of homework but if you don't leave it til the end it's really not that bad. A lot of quizzes but they're always open notes, group effort and easy. There were 3 tests and a cumulative final which were all pretty easy. My only warning is that the first test had a lot of vocab which I didn't expect for a math class so beware.

Took him last semester for calc. Solid choice but I feel like I walked out of calc unprepared for calc 2 if you only need calc 1 take him if you need more than 1 I would try someone else.

I love Bianco! I had him for college algebra and really enjoyed the class. He made it easy to understand and he makes a lot of jokes that are actually funny. I took him again for stats because I liked him so much. He gives a lot of homework but gives you multiple tries. He also drops your lowest test and quiz. He really wants to see you succeed.

Fairly easy class with Bianco. He drops the lowest test, lowest quiz, and 2 lowest homework grades. He tries to incorporate business like questions in his lectures and assignments since everybody is in the college of business (he doesn't always do this though). I missed three quizzes and I still passes with an A. All around great teacher

Come on man... if Bianco is teaching the class you know you're going to get a lot out of it. I've taken him for Stats and I'm currently taking him for Elementary Calc. By far the best mathematics professor at FGCU in my opinion... but don't think that you won't have to work for it. Elementary Calc. is a very tough class, but he makes it bearable.

Yes! Take his class! The best Calc professor out there, tests are difficult but he'll work with you all the way! Use his office hours (don't go in the day before the test) and take a lot of notes in class. He is very fair and even drops a test and two quizes. I would take his class again!

Bianco was the best math teacher I've ever taken! He uses his humor to make every lecture easy to understand. He generally cares about his students and always emails/meets with his students. He shows you step by step how to do each statistical test. Drops one hw, one test, one quiz! A+ for sure!

Nick is a great professor. He gives pop quizzes but you get to work in groups and use your notes so they aren't too bad. However if you miss class on the day of a pop quiz you'll get a 0. If you have to take Business Calc make sure you take it with him!

Bianco's personality is great. He's young and funny and connects well with students. He drops 1 test, 1 quiz, and 1 homework, and his tests are easy if you take 30 minutes to study / just go to class, making it hard to not get an A. I only went like 1/2 of the time and still learned everything / got an A.

This is a professor that explains the "why" of precalc very well. This class is super easy if you are fresh from college alg but for me it was tough. Put in the time to see him during his office hours and you'll do ok. There was a good bit of homework which took me a few hours to do. He goes fast in class which was a struggle for most of the class

I had the pleasure of taking pre-calc and calc I with Bianco. He is an amazing professor who really cares about his students. He tries to keep the lectures interesting with corny jokes but manages to break down the concepts in a way that is easy to follow and helps students understand it. He's the best and would take his class again in a heartbeat!

Great person and professor. He actually cares about YOU and you doing your best in the class. He's one of the only few professors that I've had that makes an expected boring topic turn into an interesting topic.

Gotta come to class for the pop quizzes. We had 13 in a MWF course. Lecture and note-taking based class which isn't my style for math but he's still a great teacher and personality. I struggle with math but I never studied and barely did any of the homework, and still passed

Bianco gives off the cuff notes, which may be troublesome for some. This class in particular had some very difficult concepts which I think could have been taught better. But, overall, Bianco is a cool guy and a pretty good prof.

This man is the GOAT. One of the few professors that I can say I would take again. He does an amazing job at explaining the material and helps you out a ton if you don't understand it. Math typically isn't my strongest subject but Bianco really helped me understand all of the material. 5/5

He teaches how Professors should teach. He's clear, detailed, and makes sure you fully understand the material without teaching unnecessary information. Funny guy too, feels like a casual class. Attendance isn't taken, but he randomly gives group quizzes and you can't make it up if you miss it

He interacts well with students and made a difficult course my highest grade.

He was a good professor, but, those quizzes were killer (only if you weren't in class). For the quizzes you work with the people at your table and you can use your notes. Definitely going to class and paying attention is a must if you really wanna pass. There is a pretty easy group project towards the end of the semester.

Professor Bianco made Statistics very easy to understand. Throughout the semester we had approximately 13 Pop Quizzes in which you work in small groups. Definitely show up to class, as this will only help your grade. Attendance is not taken, as the random Quizzes serve as attendance. Overall a really nice and approachable guy. Definitely recommend!

Bianco gives out pop quizzes, which is his form of "attendance". Other than that, attendance isn't mandatory for every lecture. The homework is super easy and exams aren't bad either. He is extremely funny and willing to help with anything.

He is super funny and extremely nice. I love this professor. he gives one group project that took us 10 minutes to do. Printout his notes because those will help a lot. miss class and you will be behind but he tutors at his office hours. it is always a good time in his class.

5-10 questions on exams. Gives you hints in class on concepts to know for the exam, but I'd suggest going to office hours if you want specifics. He drops your lowest exam, homework, and quiz grade. Quizzes are in class working with the people next to you. Overall a cool guy, but the class was pretty challenging with a lot of material covered.

Bianco makes it as easy as possible to understand stats. The only reason I didn't keep my A in the class was because I didn't take advantage of his office hours when I didn't understand something. My friend in another stats class used my notes from Bianco to pass her class for grade forgiveness- she doesn't think she would have passed otherwise.

He is an amazing professor and makes math super understandable. He drops the three lowest HW grades, the lowest quiz grade, and the lowest exam grade. He uses MyMathLab to give hw and barely uses canvas. I had half online/in-person but he made the material really easy to understand. He does have "pop quizzes" once in while but they're open notes.

I loved Bianco for general math. His lessons were well taught and he is always willing to help. A few quizzes randomly, but they're only one question on the lesson of the day. He drops 3 hw, one test, and one quiz, which always comes in handy. There are tests every other week, but as long as you do the practice test on mymathlab you'll do okay.

He explains Precalculus in a way that is super easy to understand; I hardly have to study!! Has "random" pop quizzes (but truly tells us there will be one), but they are all open notes. I had to take this course 3 times because I really could not grasp the subject material. I finally passed with Bianco because he actually teaches and makes sure that you understand the material while working on classwork. He has a kind and understanding demeanor and always makes everyone laugh or at least smile.

Ive never been good at math. Bianco is a god. Attending lectures are essential to your success in the class. Very easy group project at the end of the semester. What you learn in class easily translates to homework, pop quizzes (dont worry they are done in your group and are easy), and tests. His personality really makes you feel less anxious.

The most chill professor I've had. He explains things so simply, which makes the concepts easy to understand. Homework isn't too bad if you don't wait till last minute, since it's all due on the exam day. He doesn't take attendance ever but sometimes has little quizzes at the end of class that you do with other people. Also really funny!

Bianco was such a hilarious/funny professor. He made Calc 1 so easy to understand and he gave hints about the problems that were going to be on the exam. Attendance isn't necessary, but there are pop quizzes that he gives out at random. He does not offer extra credit but drops our lowest exam grade. Office hours are helpful for hw help.

My advice is to print out the notes Bianco has on canvas, he uses them in class and it saves so much time. I wasn't frantically scribbling down everything and was able to put my focus onto what he was teaching.

Bianco was a great professor. He made each subject not too difficult, and he gave us a lot of sheets that we could use on the exams. Exams are a little difficult, but the sheets given were useful. There was no final, but he did not drop other exams, as he did for Calc 1. Throughout the semester we had 18 quizzes, but he dropped 3 of them.

Bianco is my favorite professor of all time without question. he is hilarious and provides amazing lectures. seriously if you fail his course then it is your fault not his. take him at all costs. my only gripe is there is no extra credit but besides that he is literally amazing.

He's an amazing professor who always made class enjoyable. Technically you don't have to show up to lectures, but he give in class group quizzes at least once a week randomly. He gives you until the end of each unit to finish the respective homework assignments, and he even dedicates a class before each exam for homework help.

Good Professor. His notes and lectures are very clear. I wish he would do some type of extra credit to help out your grade because STATS can be hard or a practice exam. But, overall he is super nice and always has a great attitude.

Biancgoat explains concepts very well, and is funny and engaging in his lectures. There's frequent pop quizzes (quizzies as he calls them) that encourage attendance. A few quiz drops, usually no final. Homework is pretty easy. Outlines what will be on tests. Makes classes very straightforward! Biancgoat 🐐

My favorite prof at fgcu by far. Bianco made me feel so confident with my math skills as someone who thought I could never be good at it. He goes through problems by hand, in detail. I had him for precalc, calc 1, and calc 2, and would happily take any of those classes again with him. Funny guy who cares about his students success.

Great professor. I took Calculus 1 (MAC2311) in Summer B, which is only 6 weeks. He made the coursework and homework load very manageable. I would recommend anyone who has to take calculus to take it with Bianco

Professor Bianco was an awesome Professor! He didn't require us to buy a textbook, but obviously, he used MyMathLab for all the homework. He gives open-note quizzes and drops the three lowest homework assignment grades and the two lowest quiz grades at the end of the course. He allows you to use a formula sheet on the tests too!

EASIEST math class ever — Professor Bianco is not only an expert, but also how to be an effective and engaging professor. Makes course content digestible and easy to remember so tests and "quizzys" are a breeze. Grades fair and drops lowest scores. Obviously, you gotta do the work and show up, but if you do you'll do great. Absolutely recommended.

He is genuinely an amazing professor! I look forward to going to his class everyday and laugh in lectures. Calc 2 is hard, so you need to study and be prepared. Bianco makes it as easy as he can for his students! I really appreciate how helpful he is.

Great professor, it's obvious that he cares about his students and that he wants us to learn, but I feel as though he overly simplified everything and that just isn't my way of learning.
