Great Teacher!! he explains things very well. not hard at all. the only thing he requires of homewrk is a short essay or outline of the chapter to were it would be useful to you in test.

He's extremely fair and works well with all his students (in my class anyway).

This is the second time I take a class with this professor. He makes the subject interesting. He is a GREAT professor :)

Easy class. Just the outlines kind of suck. Powerpoints help me more for the test but the outlines are for a grade as well with the online quizzes so it's best to do them.

You better work on the outlines, they're tedious, but it's easy at the end. He understands how the class feels; therefore he'll make changes for good. Finally he's very handsome in my opinion.

Good teacher. Easy to understand and gives good lectures. Actual course work is not good though, the outlines he makes you do are not very helpful when it comes to tests and quizzes. The outlines get very boring and redundant! Like someone else said he isn't that organized. Sometimes drags out topics that were not important for the tests.

You have to read but the readings are still super interesting just like the class, he is super helpful and the tests are all from what you read, not very hard and a lot of class discussions.

I took he's class for the intro and human development and hes classes were one of the few that I would actually want to go to. I would totally recommend this instructor . Just for a feed back make sure you read the chapters assigned on time and turn in home works on due dates.

Very laid back professor! The subject in general is very interesting and informative you will leave class learning something new. The homework was ok a bit long but you do need the book to find your answers. The exams seemed easy but challenging. There was tons of participating in class and some group work. Real cool guy would take him again

Great professor! Took him at MDP for human growth and development, super humble and amazing teacher! Made class intresting and fun, assigned alot of homework on launchpad but nothing thats not possible to do. Must show up to class otherwise it will affect your grade, study and read is a MUST if you want to pass his exams.

I took his class for Intro to psych. He does a lot of group projects so make sure you get people that you like, otherwise you will want to murder them by the end of the semester. His test are tough, you will have to do the study guide and read a little bit to get a good grade. He is funny and he explains everything really well.

I took this class at MDP for Human Growth and development. This class was awesome it easy to learn we do group projects but as long as you do your work you will be fine. Home work is very easy to do I recomend this profesor for sure!!!!

Attendance matters. Lots of reading and homework BUT you actually learn! He lectures wonderfully, has a great personality and engages you so it is easy to retain the info. Go to class and do the homework/reading and the tests will be easy. You will get a lot out of this class and leave looking at life in a diff way.

Super amazing class! He's clear on everything you need to do to get an A! Attendance is graded and he gives group projects. Gives details study guides on what will be on the test! Very clear lectures. I enjoyed taking this class with him and would again! But get ready to read!

Took this statistics class online and I absolutely enjoyed it! It was self paced with target deadlines in which he gave you 4 weeks to work on assignments and a quiz. READING IS A MUST but he also provided video lectures by him as well as another source to help you understand the concepts being taught! Extra credit offered, and drops lowest grade!

I had read some of the negative comments on here before i picked this teacher but I gotta say he's super organized and he responds to emails within 24 hours. He does use the lockdown browser which I personally didn't like but overall he seems like a really nice guy he does offer extra credit but it's not much.

Prof. Fernandez is a really great teacher. I strongly disagree with the negative reviews on here. He's organized and knows his stuff. There's online homework which he gives you a week to do, 5 exams that use lockdown browser, and one final exam paper. He does require everyone to participate but as long as you say something then it's fine.

I took him over the summer and loved his class. I was dreading going to class five days a week for two hours but his lectures were so interested that I hated any time I missed class. He uses personal experiences as examples and it adds to the experience. His class was relatively easy. I also enjoyed that he made everyone talk and have discussions.

Overall good class but too much homework for one summer session that I took it in. Work on the study guide and attend his class and you will go good. I got an A but it is not an easy A. Class is not difficult but you must read the book and study the material thoroughly to get a good grade on the exam. Class participation is a must. Good lecturer.

One of my top favorite classes! I will admit, I never had so many assignments and readings. If you follow instructions and read the material, it's an easy A for sure though! The textbook itself was interesting and the professor's study materials are very helpful. Great class!

Mr. Fernandez is an awesome professor. Very approachable. I took him for Human Growth and Development in a Mini Mester. Best class ever. I have never been so interested in Psychology until I took this class. You must do the homework he assigns to you on Launchpad and review the study guide if you want to pass. All assignments and tests are online.

He is an excellent and very knowledgeable professor. He gives many example until he is 100% sure that all the students understand what he was teaching. I definitely recommend his class. Easy A if you read ahead, do his review questions, participate in class, and do all the homework.

I'm taking Psychology of Personality online and I love it! . He is a great professor and very inspirational, he make sure that you understand each chapter giving you an interesting assignments to do, he gives the full week to complete it and is very responsive. Awesome teacher would definitely take it again.

Stands out from other professors , he likes to involve the students which really helps you learn. He keeps you awake and his lectures are easy to keep up with. His exams are literally the study guide so no reason not to pass. I recommend this class if you want an A, but just like any class, dont be lazy. Just keep up.

I genuinely enjoyed this class but more importantly I learned so many things. I wish I would have had the opportunity to have taken this class in my younger years. Theres so much that can be applied to personal life from this class. The instructor demonstrated interest in his students which is refreshing. Its not always seen from every instructor.

Statistics and Research is a very difficult class, but Mr. Nicholas gives you feedback and an opportunity to make extra credit. He is caring and listens to the students. I truly recommend him but you must be prepared to study.

Mr. Fernandez is an amazing professor. He opened my view on psychology, I usually just had interest in it to learn about disorders but there is so much more to it. All the details of life were explained to me, I use information learned to help my real life situations. I might even consider a career in this field. Would take again in a heartbeat.

Mr. Fernandez is very well prepared with his lectures which are not boring at all. He encourages class participation. His tests are difficult if you do not study but he does provide study guides. He assigns quite a few homework assignments but gives enough time to complete it as well as the extra credit. I would definitely take his class again.

However, doing the homework is a way of passing the class even if you do not do as good in the exams. He offers one extra credit opportunity. Throughout the course, he asks for your opinion to improve the class. Also, his assignments vary.

I am a really picky person and Professor Fernandez is one of the few who I have taken most Psychology classes with, the only one in fact. He is really outstanding, funny, interesting, intelligent, capable, professional, understanding, and much more. He is a great teacher, he will even rearrange due dates if he considers your problems reasonable.

Professor Fernandez- overall a good online instructor, there is a lot of homework but all you have to do is read the chapters and meet the deadlines. Other than that I enjoyed the course. One thing I did not like at all was the lockdown browser program Respondus, it is not enabled for tablets which is a pain when it comes to online exams.

Mr. Fernandez is an excellent teacher. He is firm when he needs to be. Just the same, he can also be understanding. There is a moderate amount of work in the class, appropriately so. He knows how to get the class engaged and really listens to his students. He is always finding new ways to keep the class interesting.

Mr. Fernandez is a great teacher, very informative and willing to slow down and go over whatever it is you need help with if you are lost. You need to show up to class to get the full idea of what the unit is about and more importantly, ask questions. Be open to feedback and be ready to have fun.

this professor is amazing. He really explains the material and is there if any problems occur. His lectures are detailed and you need to be there but he does have online lecture in case you missed a class. The online function is good, because nobody id perfect. As a teacher, he is the best!!!

Took his online class during summer. Every unit has participation and homework assignments - you NEED the textbook for these. Exam at the end of every unit, plus a final exam. Flexible if he sees need for it - responds to emails within 24 hrs! A couple opportunities for extra credit. If you put in your part and do work, you should be fine.

He does give a lot of work. About 3 assignments, and 3 discussions per week. But you do learn a lot. There is different types of assignments from drawing to questions. He responds to messages quickly and is really nice.

Great instructor. Took him for Psychology of personality as well. He responds quickly to questions and wants to make sure you understand the material as a student. He is a fair grader. Online classes with him were a breeze. Might seem like a lot of work, but he made it really understandable. And it's manageable.

Absolutely amazing professor! He is passionate about this subject and a great teacher all around. In order to pass you must study and read on your own but as long as the work is put in it isn't a hard class. He makes lectures fun and very interesting/deep. I'm not even going into psychology however his class made me consider a career in psychology.

A really great class to start off with. Teaches by powerpoints, so note taking helps a lot when answering the study guides. You should also buy the book, because thats basically the answers to the study guide, therefore the exam. The class is very interesting and you learn a lot by the end of the semester.

Nick is an AMAZING TEACHER! i took him for human sexuality & it was by far one of my favorite classes ive taken in college. You do need the book bc some hw will be on reviewing the chapters & 1 test is open book! Mr. Fernández is an amazing profesor! took him for a hybrid class, and we would only have class once a week, therefore a lot of the modules would be on our own to read but he gives you a specific study guide and all the exams are exactly from the study. Reading is required. his lectures are interesting and i always looked forward to his class!!

This is the BEST PROFESSOR I have ever had. I have taken four classes with him because of how good he is at teaching. Reading the textbook is necessary but use the study guides. Participation is important b/c we do have a lot of class discussions but he makes the material relatable. Another thing is to ALWAYS do the assignments, it is a lot!

This professor is chill. All of your work is done through another platform and your grade is split 50/50 between HW and tests. The tests are pretty challenging and must be taken through Respondus Lockdown Browser. He offers to drop the lowest test grade if you do community service. The curriculum is pretty interesting. Take his class.

Loved his class! you do have to purchase a program for the online class, but the textbook comes with it. We go through 1 unit every three weeks and you work at your own pace through each unit. I loved the structure of his class, very straight forward and easy to follow. As long as you complete all the work by the deadline, you should pass.

I have taken two classes with professor Fernandez and was not disappointed. I took my first class with him in the spring of 2020 and it was an easy transition with the pandemic. I took him again this fall for stats and he made it fairly easy. He does require lockdown browser. But he ends up dropping your lowest exam which helps a lot.

Even though I couldn't interact with him too much due to this being an online class, he was pretty good. He does give study guides for tests that do help a lot. Overall this was a pretty good class, and I would retake it.

This class was AMAZING! I enjoyed every class and it was really engaging. He's a really good teacher and actually ensures that you both learn and understand the material. This professor was absolutely amazing, and I really enjoyed his class! The end of the semester actually makes me sad because I miss the class already. I learned so much, and he explained the concepts with clarity. This class in particular reawakened my love for Psychology. I highly recommend him to any student wanting to take a Psychology course!

Mr. Fernandez was amazing! He did count participation as a grade, but he really knows how to get you taking. He's open with his students, super sweet, and even got in into considering a minor in psych. 100/10 recommend! Pay attention to lectures, he does use that material on his tests (Lock Down Browser), does not like cheating!

Mr. Fernandez was so nice and understanding when it came to us. He helped us whenever we were confused and more time than not would start telling us a story in the middle of class. He tries to make the class as fun and relaxing for his students. But be ready to read because those exams will ask for it.

Great class. Interacts with students about the topic we're learning from. You do have to read but it's easy if you go to class and take notes, he pretty much helps you with the study guide as you go through the class. He does use respondus but as long as you study and ask questions you'll do great. I would recommend this class and professor.

Great teacher tbh! He uses a lockdown browser for his exams, but he'll let you use a 2 sided study guide created by yourself for the exam. Exams aren't usually hard especially if you study. Textbook is needed, for me it costed around $110 I believe. He's not a tough grader and his lectures make the coursework easier to understand. Great teacher!
