He is young and full of knowledge. Makes it easy to understand topics that normally are not interesting. Great grader and looks out for the best interest for the student. Highly reccomend him!

Great Professor

awesome professor. Makes class interesting and easy to understand. Tests are a little challenging and requires a lot from his students. If you take good notes the tests are a breeze. Even though he is young he knows so much and good looking to;)

i was dreading going to this class on the first day because i do not like politics. when he walked into the room, i was like, this will be a great semester! he is hot and nice. he is also very easy to understand. he doesn't talk about the text book in class but i still recommend buying the book. you WILL need it for the tests!!! What an interesting and thought provoking class. I came out with so much more insight into many different issues. I have never met someone so knowledgeable when it comes to politics, even in other political science classes that I have taken. I am so glad I took his class.

He is an amazing professor! loved his class, it was the only class i didn't blow off. He makes class interesting and understandable. As long as you read the book, pay attention, and take notes you can easily pass. Would like to take another class with him if i can. I love this teacher take him for any class and you will love the class. He makes it interesting and we mostly talk about things that really matter instead of boring textbook stuff. I learned alot from his class and he is hott so it was fun to sit there for an hour and fifteen minutes every class. Glad we didn't get out early too often

I have to say he is amongst one of the best teachers I have had in my educational experiences. I don't care for politics too much, but he enlightened me to quite a bit. I would hope to take another class of his in the future.

I would like to thank him for a great class. At first I thought that it would be the worst class ever and that I wouldn't be able to stay awake in the class but he made it fun and very interesting to me and he got me into almost every class discussion, which made the class much better.

Amazing teacher. He encourages his students to seek the truth in politics and not to take what other's say as fact. I have gained a whole new perspective and appreciation for our government, its institutions and the major political issues. He also encourgaes everyone to participate, but make sure you can point to evidence and backup your opinion.

He is a good teacher but goes off on tangents too much regarding current events. We had a lot of interesting discussions about the presidential election but ended up having to rush through the mandated material by the end of the semester. Also, he tries to impress the girls a little too much, but i cant blame him, id probably do the same haha.

Great class! Awesome discussions. I am glad I took this class because i have learned more from this class than most of the others and he tries to get everyone involved and relate the subject material to them. Would definitely take another one of his courses.

This is the second class I took with this professor. It is really intersting and he knows what he is talking about. I watch the news and pay attention to current events but it is amazing how much you dont hear much about.

This is a good professor and I am considering taking him next semester. The work is challenging but as long as you come to class and take good notes, you will do fine. I don't like the fact that he does not offer extra credit and he could write more notes on the board, but he is more than fair in his grading policies.

He is a good professor but nothing special. He lectures too much and should consider group activities. As long as you show up and take notes you will do fine because the exam contains very little from the text.

Class was based on definite current events, especially because it was a presidential election. Tests were based on class notes and were pretty easy. Did not use the textbook at all. He is arrogant and a bit full of himself, he's not bad to look at!

this was a great class. professor brought up real issues that affect us and allowed everyone to speak. his intellect and knowledge of the material is far more than most other professors. he challenges his students to backup what they say by facts. I wish he taught more classes.

Excellent class. The professor offered insights that I never really thought of. It was amazing to see how little we really know about American history, government and politics. He is pretty fair and teaches the intent of the founding fathers. He criticizes both political parties equally.

Fun and insightful about political science. Really wants students to think about who they're voting for, but not out to make everyone have his opinion. Expects long papers, but tells you exactly what he wants on them.

at first, i was kind of put off at his seemingly conservative ways and tendency to rant. eventually i realized that he's more moderate & realistic than conservative, and the "ranting" turned out to be the most informative part of the lecture. follow his steps to get your A, and you will. plus, you'll leave enlightened.

His knowledge and wisdom of the world has actually inspired me. I never had any interest in politics, never kept up with anything, but he changed that and I am extremely grateful.

Fairly easy professor. Useful information. I will say, he is incredibly condescending, and makes derogatory, blanket statements about the student body as a whole. He's also kind of a misogynist. Pay attention to current events, and be prepared to discuss them.

4 tests and a final paper which is 5 pages and a topic of your choice but he must approve it. Always helpful and very insightful. I took State & Local with him and loved the class! I'm taking another one of his classes next semester! Best professor I've ever taken hands down, his stories are interesting too! STAY UP TO DATE WITH CURRENT EVENTS!

His class is very interesting. He is far better than the last professor that I had for this class. He doesn't make you feel stupid if you don't know something. He gives good feedback and reviews everything that will be on a test the class before it is taken. I would take his class again.

His lectures are almost like conversations with the class, and he's really helpful as well as willing to give feedback, Super interesting and kinda funny as well. He doesn't really teach from a textbook though, so you have to go to class, but if you do you'll pass easily.

Professor Giordano was one of the best professors I've ever had. Legitimately cares about his students. Always asking the class who would like to do an internship and is will to stay a little late and help you understand the material better. As long as you study (slightly in depth) the vocabulary he gives out the day before the test you'll do great

His knowledge is admirable to say the least. You can ask him about something going on in the world and he's got an answer for you. Wants you to work, especially for the paper. Tests are easy but some questions are arbitrarily graded, beware. Impressive lectures, no textbook. Would take the class again.

I do not find any classes interesting but his class really sparked my interest. I had him for World Politics. His tests were a lot of short answer with no multiple choice, kind of tough. You definitely need to study. All his questions are in the notes he has us write down. Gives reviews before tests so you know everything that will be on them.

Notes: easier to print out slides, not a lot of time to write. Tests: easy, straight from notes. Two page easy's on each new region you study. You choose the article you want to write about. Goes around the class and has you talk about your article (in your seat) before handing it in, generic explanation. Pretty interesting to learn about the world

I took Professor Giordano for Pol 105 and he is an amazing teacher. He knows what he is talking about. If you take notes each class & participate you'll pass the test easy. Each class we talk about current topics happening in the US so definitely watch the news or read on topics to discuss cause he always ask questions in the beginning of class.

Very easy professor. Taking him again for pol105 next semester. Very funny and spends 3/4 of each class talking about current events and the rest doing notes, in which he writes extremely clear on the board. Tests are easy, and are almost word for word from his notes. He does give a 5 page term paper. I'm glad I took him though!

He's really good and knows practically everything about government (local and state). Listening to him is really great he's really chill. And is like one of the best teachers at the school.

Professor Giordano is probably the best professor I've ever had at Suffolk Community College. Never missed his class because I didn't want to miss out on the interesting facts and current events in which he would discuss in class. He's always there for his students and he's very clear about his grading policy. He's not boring at all, I love him!

I have no interest in politics/history and have always failed/skimmed by in those classes. he makes everything so clear and relatable to what's going on currently. i actually look forward to coming to class. his tests are DIRECTLY from his notes, so as long as you take notes and study, you'll do fine. if i wasn't graduating i'd take him again.

This is my second class with Mr. G. This guy is a genius in politics and anything to do with it. He's a great teacher and really cares that his students learn and get involved in government. You would be silly if you didn't take him. Tests are straight from notes, show up and pay attention to current events and you'll get an A.

He keeps the lecture interesting and gives you the cold hard truth about what is going on in the world around us. He actually cares about his students and also the subject matter in which be teaches.

He's a GENIUS. So nice and funny and knows everything there is to know about Politics. You will learn so much from him and he lets you know everything that will be on the test. The material is simple and interesting which makes it even easier to learn. Highly recommended.

Legit the best professor and class that I've taken at Suffolk. He can be a bit intimidating but give him a chance. He answers your emails and question quicker than most professors. You really get sucked into his lectures which ends up helping you in the long run for exams. Take notes! His exams are based off them and do the paper! Would recommend!

I have Professor Giordano now and he truly is an amazing professor. This is the first time I've written a review on here so he definitely deserves it! He's crystal clear on what he expects from you and if you take notes, pay attention and participate now and then you're golden. It's hard to not get into his lectures he is magnetic. Kinda sexy too.

I absolutely loved him! take him if you can. He knows his stuff and he will give you the ins and outs of anything you need to know or want to know.

He's blunt, but he grew on me after a while. Only one research paper that you're given plenty of time to write. Reading involved the Constitution, Articles of Confederation, and Federalist Papers -- not hard reads at all. Attendance is mandatory. Usually always available outside of class, and participation is encouraged.

Loved his online class. Great professor. Gives PowerPoint lectures which are very straightforward and SAVE them because you can use them for the tests. He's also very smart and insightful. I will continue to listen to him on the radio. If you have the choice, pick him, you won't regret it!

Professor Giordano is AMAZING. I've taken him twice for my political science requirements and he's the definition of a caring professor. He really cares about his students and goes to extreme measures to make sure you do well! He truly cares about his job, and explains material clearly and helps you if you are having difficulty. One of the best professors I had at Suffolk. This class was the reason that I am now getting a POL minor after I transferred. I appreciated that wasn't that liberal and he didn't bash the president constantly like so many polysci professors do. He's brutally honest, and that I appreciated. Still listen to him on the radio every week.

I have never taken such a funny and easy class in my life. Prof. Giordano makes the class run exciting, and you actually learn the basics of the government that's rules over you. You will talk about current events before every class, and its good because he plays devils advocate so there can be alittle heated debated. Overall would take again 100%

Currently in his class and I love it and him. Its great to learn from someone who actually cares and is intelligent. If you do not like politics take his class. It will make you open your eyes as to why you should pay attention at least. Very easy class, show up, do the work he asks of you and youll do great. Barely any hw and one-5 page paper.

This guy really knew everything he was talking about in class when it came to international politics. He kept the lectures very relevant to today's society and was honestly a very interesting class. Giordano was an awesome professor. If youre easily offended the his insight into the real world may bother you but his lectures on current events were always something id look forward to.

Mid way through semester, great professor, mad chill first 45 mins of class will be talked about current events the other half will be notes take NOTES in class, 80 percent on test ALSO study for CURRENT EVENTSS!! 5 questions will be on the test on currents events

Giordano is one of the best professors at sccc. incredibly knowlegable. actually knows what he's talking about unlike some other pol professors. one paper, 3 tests. no homework. interesting lectures offers extra credit if you comment on his fox news appearences. 11/10 great professor.

BEST PROFESSOR I'VE HAD SO FAR!!!! very nice and funny guy. He tells it like it is with no smoke screen. I liked the way he taught and the things he had to say so much that after i was done with his international politics class, i signed up the next semester for his US politics class. If you want to take a politics class, there is no other option!

By far my favorite professor Ive ever taken, tells everything straight how it is and keeps class entertaining. Ive taken him twice for POL105 and 107 and couldnt think of taking another professor for those classes.

Definitely one of the best. I've had discussions over email with him, his in class discussions are some of the most amazing you'll ever have. Whatever view point you have he's ready to discuss and the knowledge he has on every relative topic is totally amazing. Wish I could take him a third time.

This professor is amazing. He start his class off with open discussions about political issue. Take notes, write whatever he writes on the board those are your answer to the exam/tests he gives. 3 exam including final 1 five page paper plus attendance is really important. Take him you won't regret it.

Awesome online professor! As long as you do the work and follow the directions he gives out 10/10 like its nothing! Its a great class if your major has nothing to do with politics but you still need the credit in that area.

All the quizzes are beyond easy, as long as you save the PowerPoints!! Theres weekly discussions that are mostly opinion based. No textbook is required, all readings are provided. An overall easy lecture and good professor.

He allows extra credit on blackboard where you can post any news article and discuss about the topic after class. Great lectures. Have the powerpoint downloaded on your computer and you'll pass the exams. Take this class,you won't regret it!

Class was easy online. All you really have to do is answers the discussion questions and take 3 open note exams. As long as you have the power points on you, the tests are very easy to pass. He also gives extra credit where you have to summarize and discuss an article on any world related politics. He is a great professor and would recommend him.

Professor Giordano was great. He has a super impressive background and is insanely smart. He teaches in a way that is pretty easy to learn. Before the test, he would go over everything that is on it and what we should study. There is a research paper at the end in which you pick your topic that he approves. Awesome professor!

Hands down best professor I've ever had. Extremely knowledgeable and brings to the table an extensive background from outside of academia. Great lectures and always discusses current topics. Offered to help me with career research related to his previous job with emergency management. Already signed up for his other class next semester.

Professor is caring and accessible. Gives opportunity to submit paper early for review and to make corrections which is great because i am not the best writer. Enjoyed the lectures and brings up all sides of the issues. He is very approachable and helped me in my course schedule and transfer options. Overall, take him because you won't regret it.

Second class with him and is still the best professor I've ever had. Saw that since I had taken my last class with him his rating had slipped just below 5 stars and that's just unacceptable because he deserves nothing but 5 stars, so I had to rate him again for this class. Take this professor, you won't regret it.
